I'm surprised I haven't written a review for Capones yet. We have been going here for years and it's one of our favorites.The service there is top notch and the food is amazing. I love their farfalle o' sole mio pasta. It comes chicken in this creamy Marsala sauce and is one of the chef's specialties for good reason. For desserts, they bring out the options on a tray and explain everything they have. I love this and always save room for dessert here because of this.You can tell the owner really cares about his business and is usually always walking around checking on his guests when we're there. It's the small touches that make this place perfect to celebrate a special occasion or just a night out!

Pros:- the gorgonzola gnocchi was VERY GOOD- the free bread is delicious- they brought out birthday cannolis for me- water refills were frequent- the limoncello cake was niceCons:- the pomodoro sauce was bland (maybe needs salt?)- the chicken parm was slightly overcooked- the service was kind of confusing (The waitress boxed up my plate but not the others'. I think she should have just let us do all the boxing ourselves)- we felt rushed, though there was plenty of open seating

Last time I came here, the food was great. This time... it was different. The waitress seemed to be hovering and rushing us. It was awkward to have her reaching across the table to grab plates, sometimes while we were still working on the food. It would have been smoother to ask us to push the plates and silverware closer to her than to practically lay on the table to reach. When she was pouring the olive oil and balsamic mix, the bottle was leaking and got balsamic on the table, but the lighting was so dim that you could barely see why everything was sticky. I saw another table using their centerpiece candle to try to read the menu. The balsamic seemed to be good quality but the olive oil was not. There was no salt/pepper on the table so we had to ask twice. The bread that came out was delicious and perfectly soft with a crispy crust.Our food came out relatively quickly, although not all at once. I ordered the chicken parm and the presentation was nice. The pasta was average if not a little bland. The chicken was pounded thin and overcooked, very firm. Just short of being dry, but definitely more the texture of squid than chicken. My sister ordered the 1/2 and 1/2 gnocchi, and the Gorgonzola half was the best thing at our table. The gnocchi was fluffy and sauce was well balanced. The red sauce half seemed to be "as expected" so it was fine but not the star. Since it was her birthday, they also brought out a cannoli and sang a song. I wish they had asked whether she wanted a song because some people do NOT want the attention. The cannoli was terrible, but I think it's because we just don't like cannolis. I can't verify whether it was fresh or delicious (if you like them). We also got a slice of limoncello cake that was... fine. The texture of the cake was nice but the flavor felt very artificial. Based on this experience, we probably won't return.

Our family had the pleasure of dining at Capones Italian Cucina. As an Italian and a self-proclaimed, food snob I was very impressed.The service was really good, waitress was very attentive. All of the dishes were hard to choose from.... However, we chose the ravioli and my husband, the sea bass.Incredible food absolutely delicious. Really on point. We had two appetizers two bottles of wine, two desserts, three courses, and it was about 300.I will be coming back here. Impressed.Note: The presentation on the lemon ricotta cheesecake needed work. Also, there was way too much powdered sugar to make the dish look pretty let the food speak for itself. Stop trying to drown it out in decorations. This is the same for the pistachio cheesecake as well.

What a place, they got the right vibe there! Food quality and portions are great. And servers are very friendly and efficient. In one month I have gone three times, (I'm not a restaurant person) but that has become my go to spot for a very decent meal and desserts

I'm always on the look out for some good Italian food / pasta I was in the area and I frequent the place next door. I gave into peer pressure and decided to have a cheat day. This place is located in a little shopping plaza with free parking (and plenty of it) I came here at lunch and most of the people were eating outside on their spacious outdoor seating area. I decided to dine indoors and was sat immediately. This is your typical nice Italian restaurant atmosphere. Nothing too fancy but still great place to come for a special occasion The nice guy who sat us down also brought us out some bread while we waited for our waitress to take our order. She was extremely fast and helpful. We ordered the penne vodka and the tortellini Veneto. The pasta came out extremely fast, And was delicious. I love my pasta with tons of sauce and they gave plenty of it. The sauces were perfect and tasted fresh and homemade. I also have to comment how nicely it came out. It was topped with beautiful garish and flowers. The only thing I regret is not coming here with a bigger appetite. They offer a great menu with lots of options. They had a few appetizers and pizza that I'll have to come back for. The waitress even brought out the dessert tray and everything on it looked deliciousThey also have a sign outside showing all their specials during the week, a nice bar to sit at and they take reservations which can come in handy during prime time hours Overall I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Come try out your future favorite family owned local Italian restaurant

WhereTF have I been strikes again (x2)!It was one of my boy's turn to pay for lunch after golf, so he suggested a place I have not been to: Shame on me for not coming sooner! Capones is on Beach in HB, next door to L & L Hawaiian.Whats nice about Capones is they have all the Italian favorites. However, they also offer real Italian dishes like carciofi (fried artichoke hearts), a true Roman dish. In addition, they will let you substitute veggies for pasta. Perfect for people like me who follow a low glycemic diet.The carciofi was eccelente, and a great representation of a true Roman dish. I can't wait to return to have this app again. Secondarily, my eggplant parmigiana hit the spot, esp bc I was able to substitute veggies for pasta as my side. Lastly, the desserts are to die for here, and the coconut cake caught my eye. It was a great way to end the meal. My golf buddies had a couple of the specials, pork chops w/ mashed potatoes & asparagus, and fish w/ veggies. They really liked their entrees.Regarding the ambiance, its spacious in here, but also homey. You can sit inside or out, as well as at the U-shaped bar. Wed is 1/2 off wine day, and after polishing off two bottles w/ no corkage, we had a nice bottle of chianti to finish.Our waitress Rachel was super nice and friendly. Her sidekick José was also super nice and attentive. Lastly, the owner Dino stopped by to say hello also. I enjoy places where you feel at home.Capones is my new go to Italian nearby. They serve authentic Italian dishes in a very comfortable environment. I can't wait to return!
