(Dined 10/02/21 SA @1:00pm): There was nothing bumbling about this food stand... but oh brother I wished they had some sisig!I found Camacho Bros. Catering And Private Chefs tied with Bumble Vi Pastry as they were setting up outside in front of one of my favorite breweries, Paperback Brewing Co. What immediately caught my attention was their very colorful vibrant blue canopy tent and then the undeniable Philippine flag which won me over with national pride - mabuhay! Over the past several years, I've noticed more Filipino food trucks and pop-up booths at the various events I'd work at throughout Southern California as well as my favorite brewery haunts which was exciting! Would I be flipping for joy from the food of this latest Pinoy find!?QUICK BIO"A catering service, pop-up restaurant, and now a brick-and-mortar owner on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona, this hard-working husband-and-wife duo (Levin & Vianna) are helping to spread authentic Filipino cuisine to the masses. Camacho Bros. Catering was launched in 2013 while Bumble Vi Pastry began around the latter part of 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic during uncertain and unsettling times. They are ready for all occasions regardless of scope and size, and you will often find them at your favorite local brewery selling their scrumptious food."PURCHASELongganisa Bratwurst Sandwich ($10.00): To fit the Oktoberfest theme, this brat literally had its shortcoming (calling it "long" was a stretch - LOL!), but being Filipino it was more of an inside joke if anything. Otherwise, the longganisa had the sweet slightly oily taste I loved along with a rippling skin. The sweet vinegary shavings of carrot and onion sauerkraut was nice but wished I had some served on the side while the small bun everything was tucked into was of the sweet Hawaiian bread variety. A couple pickle chips we set aside and seemed out of place along with a container of spicy mustard. This paired well with the beer I was drinking but wished there was more since it didn't quite fill my belly https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=_Epix0r2rg1yyNvnsNc61Q&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw.SERVICEI dealt with a friendly woman who took my order while a male chef prepared the food. They had just finished setting up, so I went back inside to drink my beer and chat with new friends I made, and about ten minutes later I walked back outside and my food was ready to go. It was all pretty easy as long as you had a chill attitude.PARKING (FREE)Being a food pop-up, they were at the beck and call wherever they were serving food. I found parking along the main side street of Magnolia Ave. Otherwise, the venue was at the front of Paperback Brewing Co. with plenty of surrounding commercial street parking along the main drag of San Fernando Rd. and other side streets. Another option was to hire a driving service like a taxi, Lyft, or Uber.ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCEA self-contained simple pop-up tent with one order/pick-up table, one cooking table, one prepping table, and one supplies table, while natural lighting was prevalent during the daytime while I was there. There were no TVs while background music blared from inside Paperback Brewing Co. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=gidNKRoVA9oM2JTaYr15cA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9VwATTIRETotally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops.OVERALLI was proud to support Camacho Bros. Catering And Private Chefs tied with Bumble Vi Pastry and all Filipino businesses small and big out there. On this day their food options were extremely limited (I believed they also had lumpia and maybe only one other item on the menu), so hopefully that grew from one event to the next. The food was fine along with friendly service. I felt the prices were comparably a tad on the high end for what I got. I found fairly good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $10.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 3.5 STARS

VE tacos at this location or something that I had never tried before, but I decided to give it a chance. I met the owner not to long ago, and I must say that he was absolutely right. These were absolutely delicious. Anybody who runs into these guys, definitely need to check these guys out. Food is very impressive, I hope they blow up. And this company is totally bad ass.
