The best selection of craft beer in the city, a plethora of imported and specialty snacks, and excellent, welcoming demeanor of the staff keep me coming back!

Hey!! This place is pretty cool and never noticed this place even existed! My husband and I always said "We don't have any Whole Foods type of stores here... just a Trader Joe's around the corner." Well guess what? California Heights Market is like a mini version of Whole Foods. They serve a lot of quality and organic products + other amazing things you can find.. like aged meat, sushi, infused olive oils, a spice shop, bread, sandwiches, nursery and *drum rolls* beer on tap! Such a small market packed with so many great things AND they have upstairs and outside seating!! I can see parking getting a little tough here on busier days as it does seem to be in the busier part of Castro Valley with all the other eateries you can find outside of the California Heights Market. I can't wait to come back here because they do have a ton of cool organic beauty products that are great for those who have really sensitive skin but can get a little pricey!

probably the best place to go in Long Beach if you're looking for a six-pack of alcoholic beverage. Their Beer Cave is a full-on walk in refrigerated room that is impressively stocked with plenty of cold beer and cider options that are ready to take directly home or to any festive event. Plus wine, liquor, cigars and groceries in the front room. Something for everyone!

Had to stop here to get a Pliny; it's such a rare find, so they only sell one bottle per person. Friendly staff and AMAZING SUPPLY of wine and beer! You gotta check out the Beer Cave that they have at the back of the store; it's a hidden gem!Small parking lot at the front of the store. Reasonable prices.

They get one star until the staff complies with Covid mask laws. Unacceptable. I won't be back.

Be careful in the back parking lot area. Stopped here with my boyfriend on the way home. Parked in the back parking lot area. Went inside, got what we wanted, and left. When walking back to the parking lot to get to the car, an SUV pulled up with a few guys inside. The guy in the passenger seat of this SUV rolled down the window and started staring at another woman who was trying to enter the store. He was trying to talk to her, and was cat calling her! OMG! He was totally harassing this customer, which could have easily been me! I quickly got into our car and locked the door! Good grief! I like this store and like seeing the artwork on the side of the building, so I don't want to leave a negative or low star review, but just be careful in the parking lot!

Great staff. But. No spirits. Poorly maintained humidor. Over priced cigars. If you're looking for a decent cigar in the Bixby Knolls area, go to Corked. These guys have no freaking clue.

Not your typical corner liquor store, it is a cool little store with a small walk in humidor and walk in cooler w/ hundreds of IPA's. I usually go for the liquor (cognac/whisky/rum) infused cigars which are pretty decent sticks. Definitely a must if you're into IPA.
