This is right by my house so I'm quickly becoming a regular. I've been getting the Vietnamese coffee. It's nice and strong and has a great flavor. The way Viet coffee should be!The service is nice and quick so long as it isn't when school lets out and there are a bunch of kids figuring out what they want to order. Outside of after school hours I can see myself going there to get some work done for a change of pace from home.

The Vietnamese coffee was very good. We had alot tried two flavor of fries. The Cajun was definitely the best. But they had no dipping sauce or ketchup which would have been a nice touch. But we would definitely come back for the nice and friendly service and big space for hang hanging with friends. I counted their monster mascot as an animal for my "30 before 30" challenge to go to 30 animal themed tea shops before I turn 30!

Oat milk blueberry Matcha - bad. Tasted weird and totally off. Strong blueberry, mild matcha. Didn't go together and just not good flavor overall. Wintermelon milk tea - also bad. Flavor totally off, not normal wintermelon. Very watery too, the consistency was like a glass of water, unusually thin. What non-dairy milk do they use to make it so thin? None of their milk teas are normal milk, it's in small writing at the top. Wouldn't go back

Located on Woodruff and South St in Artesia, Cafe Monster is one of my go-to places for boba milk tea. I've been coming to this location regularly since it was Ding Tea. From what I can gather, it appears to be the same ownership and a rebranding: for example, they still have the same Wi-Fi network from when they were ding tea. I don't factor this as a positive or negative. If anything, I do think that the ambiance/decor is nicer since their rebranding. The flavor of the milk tea is usually on-point and the boba has that "QQ" (the way that taiwanese people describe perfect chewiness) that is desirable. I think that this is probably one of the best spots in this LGB/Cerritos/Artesia area for boba. DM me if you agree/disagree! My only complaint is that I would prefer less ice and more volume in my "large" drink, so I think that I need to specifically ask for less ice when I order.

The quality of drinks here are lacking. My wife and I tried the oat milk blueberry matcha and the winter melon milk tea, respectively. Neither of us enjoyed our drinks very much. They tasted artificial and bland. Considering the many other options available in the area, we won't be returning.

My Thai tea was okay, more milkier than I would have liked. Also had to wait almost 20 minutes for my drink because they have only 1 person working the day shift.

This was based off my first and only drink but I really liked the quality here. I got the corn milk latte. I think this one had espresso cauz I was looking for caffeine. I could literally smell my drink being made and in my car for that it's corn! Smell that did = to flavor. Staff were pretty quick with drinks and were patient when I was trying to make a decision being my first time there. I've always seen the place but today was the day and I think I found a new spot/gem! I already saw some people on lap tops or just chilling kind of like a cafe vibe. They had two tvs so while you wait there's somewhere to put your eyes hopefully not awkwardly on.

Ding Tea has rebranded to Cafe Monster. Provides ample indoor seating and big screen TV to enjoy a game or whatever. Service was great.... super friendly and helpful. Staff keeping place tidy when they can between orders which is always a nice touch. We ordered a cold lychee tea and hot jasmine milk tea. Both are of good tea quality but hot drink was warm not hot in temperature.... darn. We'll be back for another try.

Ive been here a few times now and i think i can safely rate it - i enjoy it!! I usually get the same thing everywhere i go which is some variation of matcha, foam, and oreo. This place makes it very well - sweet and creamy like i like! My husband is addicted to the creme brulee coffee. We once went here like 3 days straight. They also have creme brulee dessert in a jar, macarons, and other desserts. Bathroom is pretty clean and theres lots of parking. Good amount of seating inside - modern and trendy decor. Everyone has always been very nice to us and drinks come out correctly. I always liked Ding but to be honest im glad this place is here instead (ding had terrible matcha)

Had an amazing experience at Cafe Monster! I went in yesterday after a long work day and ordered the Vietnamese coffee, it was delicious with a perfect balance of flavors. Upon entering was greeted by Benjamin which was very attentive & helpful. Service was great and I will definitely be returning!
