A dry wet burrito. The beans tasted like they came from a can. They wouldn't even give me any extra sauce after I asked.

3/11/22 Can't properly Yelp review a place before I get to eat here but let's start with a 3 star for just having a myriad of choices in offerings for what you could be in the mood for.Honestly though, we entered through the entrance-thinking we got to the desired destination, which would be San Pedro Fish Market & restaurant. Hubby & just looked around & thought, okay maybe we should head on over to the other side-which is next doors. It was separated by chicken wire fencing with posted notification saying "you may not bring over your food purchased from Cafe Int'l to eat at San Pedro Fish mkt". Maybe we'll try this place next time, depending on how our experience would be at San Pedro's. Of note, this place is smaller scale but almost similar in concept.

Honestly... You get what you expect in a place like this. This restaurant is found near ports o call in the food area. Expect this place to be crowded. My bf and I went on Saturday afternoon and it was elbow to elbow people... So if you don't like crowds... Then I would stay away. We came here for my bf... He had fond memories of coming here as a kid... But I gotta tell ya... This place was nothing like what he remembered. The shops were alot smaller or rather... There were alot less stores then he remembered. The stretch of restaurants was short and tiny. Most of the food available was rather fish related or Mexican which is how we ended up here. The line was short and the food came out decently quick but it was definitely nothing to write home about. It was just edible. They corn dog that I got was ok... But it needed to be fried longer as outside was crunchy but the inside was a little mushy...:/ My bf got their taquito platter and he liked it.... It was nothing mind blowing but it was decent and came out piping hot. I also got the chips and salsa and it was good. The chips were fried in-house instead of store bought. But would I be rushing back here... That would be a no.

BANANA BOAT ICE CREAM (Banana Split) with a View of the Port! I have been to this place before and ordered food that I did not really care for. This is a medium sized place that serves burgers, dogs, Mex, and Beer. There is plenty of outdoor covered/uncovered seating with a nice view of the port (see photo). However, this time I specifically went for the ice cream. As I recently tried a place about a one minute walk away (Pan Pacific Ice Cream http://www.yelp.com/biz/pan-pacific-ice-cream-san-pedro), I thought I would give this place a try and compare the two. My rating is only on the ice cream. Details are as follows: 1. The ice cream was vanilla soft serve from a machine. I saw a sign that stated they had other flavors, but I was not offered any. They are probably extra. (See Photo) 2. I was not offered a choice of sauces. 3. My banana was ripe which I like! 4. Nice view which Pan Pacific has also. 5. The price was 5.25. 6. Cash Only.I personally like my ice cream as real ice cream. If you like soft serve, this is your place. They do have shakes which Pan Pacific does not. The view is great at both places. Conclusion: Based on the variety of the ice cream at Pan Pacific, which is only a minute walk away, I prefer Pan Pacific's Ice Cream--Banana Split.

Zero stars. I didn't try the food. I asked to use the restroom without warning or consent , I got a pistol pointed in my face; (apparently a thermometer). I will not be patronizing this business or this kind of behavior.

Goddamn for an $8 burger with fries and a drink, it's a good deal, but then I saw that other burgers around the competition market was a lot cheaper than the Cafe. There was no line, but I waited and waited and was not informed where to pick my food. I had to ask where and where and finally was told to go to another side of the building and I was totally confused. Burger was alright, but not crazy amazing like most burgers would be. Definitely a place to pick up a burger if you're not craving shrimp and eel.

We got a family tray of shrimp and vegetables for the 4 of us. I think it came with a few tortillas, french bread, and a bottle of Tapatio or my aunt added that on. Anyhow, it was good- surprisingly, my family and I ate all the shrimp, bread, and tortillas. All we left were about a cups worth of veggies and sauce.

Haven't been to San Pedro in over a decade, and I'm so glad I didn't read the reviews from this place because I would've gone to the other place. Most reviews complain that the wait time was long, or the food was uncooked. I had arrived around 2pm, the line wasn't that long, they took my order and I had received it around 20 mins or so. I had ordered 2 large plates. 1 of the plates was chicken and shrimp, and the other one was fish fillet and shrimp. Definitely amazing and delicious. Nothing tasted undercooked, it all tasted fresh for sure. I would eat the shrimp with my family and the other stuff that came with it, like potato, tortilla, bread, etc. Check the photos to see what it came with if you want to see yourself. Overall, great place and good wait times. I recommend arriving early before it gets crowded, cause once it hit 3pm, it was crowded and the line went around the building. Definitely coming back!
