"The Family and I had lunch yesterday at Telefèric Barcelona. We arrived around 12;30 without a reservation. The restaurant was buzzing but I wasn't surprised. The weather was beautiful after three days of rain and people were out and about. We have been to tapas restaurants before and it is one of our favorite kinds of food and dining experiences. The concept of sharing a dish or small bites isn't foreign to us. Although, I have to say that Telefèric Barcelona is probably the closest the Family and I will get to Barcelona for now. The footprint of the restaurant is pretty small and beautifully decorated. It is a comfortable unpretentious environment. The menu is just as comforting and unpretentious. It was hard to choose what to eat. So many things on the menu had my imagination soaring. While we were trying to decide on what to order, our server, Biel arrived. He asked if we had been to Telefèric Barcelona. For the Mrs. it was the second time. The Mrs. and I started off with two Margaritas. They were really good and the bartender made them from scratch. No mix! We then moved on to the food. Starting with Crab Croquetas which were topped with tuna sashimi and spicy aioli. Next were the Empanadas stuffed with roasted chicken and served with spicy aioli. The presentation was innovative and the flavor and texture were incredible. I would describe the Empanadas as more of a fried ravioli in their appearance. We then moved on to a Paella Bomb which Paella arancino(rice) filled with shrimp bisque that you inject into the dish yourself. Being able to inject the bisque was a fun way to engage with the dish. The Mrs. and I shared the Prime Wellington from the Platos menu. Telefèric Barcelona's take on Beef Wellington keeps the tradition of the dish but with better flavors in my view. Braised short ribs wrapped Ibérico ham and encased in a flaky puff pastry roll, served with Spanish-style potatoes. The Wellington was delivered and injected by the food runner with a large metal syringe that held the beef demi glacé. We loved it! I have to say that you CANNOT dine at Telefèric Barcelona without having the Wellington. My daughter ordered the Gambellini which were the most delicate ravioli I've ever tasted. They were stuffed with shrimp and bacon. The sauce that accompanied the ravioli was so light and rich. For dessert we shared the Trío selection of Telefèric's most popular desserts: churros, torrija and "Flan & Coffee". Ice cream was included to add to the richness of each dessert. The "Flan & Coffee" were my favorite. The pace of our meal was perfect. We didn't feel rushed at all which I know is a concept in the Spanish dining experience that many Americans don't embrace in their gastronomical lives. It was also great to hear Castilian Spanish being spoken. The service we received from Biel and the rest of the staff we interacted with was great. I look forward to returning to Telefèric Barcelona."

"I heard so many great things about Down South Chicken House that I decided to give them a shot! Ordered the fried chicken waffles along side peach cobbler! Let's start off with the service, 2/5 the girl the phone didn't seem please to be serving me at all! I figured probably having a bad day so I let it slide. However when waiting on my food the delivery took over 2hoursss!!! To make things even better, once I received my food it wasn't even warm anymore! The chicken wasn't even cooked all the way! Waffles all soggy! The only thing that was decent was the peach cobbler! Save to say I won't dinning at this establishment anytime soon! Don't take my word for it! See for yourself!"
"This place is an awesome little find. Good place to have a quiet drink and the food is amazing. I didn't know you could come here since it's located on the base - but anyone can come in and go to the pub. I love this place."
"Four star review because the portions here are insane! I got the chicken fiesta burrito bowl and this could easily feed 3 people. I love the service here and the staff are incredibly inviting. The ambience is great because you can sit here and eat, while getting some work done."
"I highly recommend making a reservation as this place is quite small and very popular. The service was excellent. We've been here many times and it never disappoints us. I ate the complimentary bread too quick to take a picture of it. The berry salad is seasonal so if it's available you need to order it. The salad is enough for two people to share and is very refreshing. The lasagna is very hearty and full of flavor. I love how they use two sauces a ragu meat style and a white creamy sauce. My husband ordered the spaghetti carbonara which was as equally delicious. We wouid of loved a dessert but were too full. There's nothing better then homemade pasta. If you haven't tried this restaurant you need to go soon."
"Come for the music and fun vibes. Eat elsewhere. I came here when At the Top first opened some years ago and was immediately impressed by the spacious venue and loungy furniture. The sound system didn't carry throughout the place very well, but seems they have improved it by adding more speakers to every corner of the place. I have come recently for Urban Society LB's R&B Brunch and it has been such a turnt up party! I feel good being vaccinated since a lot of people are indoors without masks here, though all the windows are open. Apparently, it's hard to get into this event because tickets sell out within minutes, but my diligent friend has managed to get us tickets and a table, so we have some space to ourselves and an area to sit. A bottle of champagne/sparkling wine is about $20. Their simple brunch menu consists of the worst chilaquiles I've had, decent chicken and waffles, avocado toast with a street corn twist, and a hearty breakfast burrito. The food is really just there to fill people's stomach with all the booze intake. If you have a table, the servers are very attentive and nice. Ordering drinks at the bar is also a reasonable wait. The music and fun atmosphere make it all worthwhile though! It does feel as if covid never happened so if you're not ready for this environment, I'd save it for much later!"
"This was a surprise for me - I had never heard of this restaurant. Upon arrival the seating seemed a bit too open for my taste but I adjusted and it was fine . They have a great whisky list and the wine list is pretty good as well. I do need to take a moment to silence for the Wagyu steak. It was so good! They give you a soy egg sauce for dipping if you'd like and it's pretty tasty. Staff was very informative and attentive throughout the meal. I can't wait to go back."
"Piano bars are soooo fun but a piano bar that plays tons of theater songs? I'M IN!! Highlight was the pianist and bartender doing Defying Gravity together. It's like we were transported to the Pantages down the street :)They also played stuff like Britney, Gaga, Abba, Disney - such a fun mix! And so much talent. There are QR codes around where you can venmo the pianist if you don't have cash to request a song. The decor is soooo cute. Pink, retro yet modern, unique, just a really fun vibe. And the clientele were all ages, not typical Hollywood night life scene. Loved it.Website says dress to impress but most everyone was in jeans so it's still relatively casual. Most of the booths were reserved but cleared up as the night went on. There were also some chairs around the bar for anyone who wants to take a break from dancing n groovin. They have a full bar as well as multiple complimentary water dispensers.Aaaaand there was no cover!Parking is horrid. Friday night in Hollywood you either pay $30+ to park or drive around until you find a spot. So plan ahead.A perfect end to Friday date night. Looking forward to brining my broadway loving sisters next time!"
"Went here for Taco Tuesday specials which are from 4pm until closing time and have tacos for $3 to $4.50. Good spot upstairs with views of the ocean and boardwalk, located across the PCH from the HB pier. There's also an elevator for accessibility directly into the restaurant. They allow dogs and you can even order a dish of cooked meat and kibble for small or large breeds. Summertime is busy and wait time can vary between 15 minutes to an hour on Tuesday nights. HB boardwalk also has their Surf City Nights, where they close down 3 blocks of Main Street (the downtown/boardwalk/pier) to host a community street fair and farmers market filled with local artisans, fresh produce, and live music performances. It's a lively night out with family and friends. Now onto the food at Fred's. My family ordered a smattering of tacos and the chicken taco salad ($19) with a side of rice and beans ($6). All tacos were decent sized ($3.50 to $6 for Taco Tuesday), mostly served on flour tortillas, and larger than your street tacos. It's definitely Americanized Calimex food, but hey you're more than likely here for the atmosphere. I also had the mango magarita and the cadillac margarita (with Grand Marnier). Both were good but pricey at $16+ each. Beers range from $6.50 up. Regular prices for their food is comparable to what you'd pay for casual beachside venues. The draw again is of course location, vibes, and view. And also the 80s music videos playing on their multiple LCD screens around the bar."
"This time i came here for birthday party . The restaurant is completely remodeled, it is very nice and clean. We have fried rice, fried fish with sauce, shrimp with noodles . Perking duck, Veggies with oyster sauce, fish maw soup food was good , only fish maw soup a little bit bland of flavor . The service was quick, and the staff are friendly."
"I feel like a little trip to India when dining here. Good vibe with great view of the harbor tooHighlights of the menu:1. Lassi traditional Indian mango2. One of my friends recommended eating here for a celebration, and I am sooo glad she did. I hadn't heard of it before and had no idea what to expect. We arrived during the late afternoon, so the sun was setting and this place looked gorgeous on the outside and the inside. The furniture was beautiful as well, and it set the mood for what was to come. Service was good, but there were moments they were trying to take our food too early. After that, they stopped taking the plates out or stopping by our table, and we were desperate for water. Luckily, the food was absolutely amazing so I still will give it 5 stars. I just wish the dishes were bigger, but they are tapas. What we ordered:Crab Croquetas: this was so goooood! It was the perfect amount of crunchy and creamy.Patatas Bravas: the flavor on this was also amazing. There's cream with a tomato-ish sauce.Empanadas: the empanadas reminded me more of fried wontons with a different flavor to it. I liked this with the sauce, but would probably skip this and order something else next time. Prime Wellington: the mix of the puff pastry, sauce, and short ribs was perfect. The potatoes that it comes with were also delicious!! It was so crispy and light. Paella Mixta: this was definitely the star of the show. I haven't had a good paella in a while, and I loved how crispy the rice was in the pan. We devoured all the dishes, but especially this one. Soooo good. I can't wait to go back and try new things (and get some of the dishes we already had)!

Christmas Eve :) lunch with the family and glad we're able to come out to 22nd - what a treat! This must have been our lucky day being that some of the reviews were borderline not so great.I've driven past this place a few times and have been wanting to come here.Pleasantly surprised at the views and spacious dining room. Started with an espresso martini - a good amount of vodka but not enough to tip you over. Starter - calamari had that soft crisp and was not chewy; spinach artichoke dip was warm and cheesy delicious, chips were made fresh ( a little oily). The. Breadsticks were super soft and warm what a surprise. Yumm! Ordered the scallops pesto penne and the scallops were perfect and not heavy on the sauce seasoned well.Dessert was mud pie. A favorite of mine. Almonds are usually mixed in but this was all on top which was different and really good. Lemon cheesecake was not super sweet which is a plus and the brownie sundae was really good too.Good service on Christmas Eve. Parking is a private lot. Elevator available to the 2nd floor dining room.Definitely coming back to enjoy other items on the menu and more of the gorgeous view!

We had a hankering for cheeseburgers. Hof's did not disappoint. They offer several different variations of this classic, each being oh so tasty. While the restaurant was busy for lunch, the level of service did not suffer.Give your mouth a treat. Get to Hof's Hut!

Great little local spot. Clean food and nice ambiance. kind of place you run into your neighbors. Grateful for the convenient location in the middle of residential area. Taking off 1 star because the hours are very limited as they also cater.

Came here for a birthday party which also happened to be the LBCS(Long Beach social club) 5 year anniversary of their party which was an R&B brunch . The situation was lit and definitely my first time experiencing such a fun party. Part of the music took me back to the day but there was hardly any room to dance, so if you plan on having an event make sure to get there early and claim your spot! Otherwise food was on point, service was on point all the bussers were constantly sweeping tables and stuff. just an all around excellent vibe

The low rating is due to the taste of food NOT the service. Our waiter was wonderful and the hostess greeted as enthusiastically. I set reservations to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriends and we were able to sit outside by the fire pit. It was pretty empty when we came and the location is a bit odd as it's between business complexes. You'll have to park in the structure but the restaurant will validate your ticket! The dishes we got were mostly misses which is quite unfortunate. It went kinda downhill after the appetizers. Appetizers were pretty solid but we were not fans of the entrees we ordered.Scallop crudo (4/5): personally my favorite of the night as it was citrusy and refreshing. One of my friends did not enjoy it as much as I did bc it was too citrusy for her.Salmon crudo (3/5): salmon was fresh and tastes like salmon poke but I didn't think it paired well with the sweet potato chips bc the chips weren't crispy enough. Crab and shrimp linguine (4/5): standard linguine pasta, thought it was good but nothing mind blowing.Wagyu crispy noodle (1/5): tooooo salty that it was not enjoyable even if the meat used was wagyu. Kind of reminded me of Vietnamese crispy birdnest noodles but gentrified... and no veggies just edible flowers that didn't really add anything to the dish. Unfortunately don't think I will be back for the food taste.

"R10 Social House is a great spot to kick off a beach day and have brunch! With summer in full swing; it certainly was a lovely start of the day to have brunch here at R10 Social House.Despite being a South Bay native and someone who has frequented the Redondo Pier; it was my first time ever to check out R10 Social House. I loved the wooden interior, chill ambiance and the view of the marina. I was seated downstairs but I also learned there is an upstairs area where events can be held. I got a little sneak peak of the upstairs area and was in awe of the view up there as well. I have to say I made a mental note for possible events here in the future. I can only imagine how gorgeous the view of the beach sunset is from here. Not only were the views from this restaurant something to talk about; their brunch food was also quite delightful. Being a lemon fan; I chose to get their Lemon Ricotta pancakes. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes were divine! They were so fluffy. I loved the toppings of blueberries and toasted almonds too. This dish really expected my expectations. I'm a lemon fan but totally didn't expect that I would enjoy this dish as much I did. I highly recommend.Overall I enjoyed my first time at R10 Social House and can see why many Redondo Beach pier vistors go here. Food is great, views are great and location is great. I found myself enjoying a nice stroll to the pier that was right there right after brunch. A visit here really is a nice way to kick off a beach day. Happy brunchin' and happy beach day!"
"Food was delicious and everyone in our family enjoyed their meal. The server was enthusiastic about the food and wine that was being served. We loved the seating area in the center which created a cozy yet elegant vibe but not too fancy that you felt out of place. Our favorite was the CALAMARETTI FRITTI, POLIPO CON PATATE, GNOCCHI GRATINATI and RIGATONI ALLA VODKA. Our family genuinely loved our experience and we will be back."
"Impeccable service, beautiful ambiance!I had the house Prosecco. Light, crisp and refreshing.I had the Messalina: enjoy the richness of the anchovies in this Caesar Salad. This was half the Penne al' Arriabata. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The sauce was savory, divine roasted garlic and a bit of heat.I was so satisfied with no room for dessert. The service is attentive and helpful.I heard that the opera singer does not perform anymore and I am sorry to hear that.*note Valet Parking is $15"
"We love this place. It is located right in Torrance in the Torrance Cultural Arts Center. It is perfect. Parking is not only free, it is easy. I am disabled and was able to have my husband drive me right to the front and drop me off. He then parked himself and we met at the front. This is an all volunteer staff and they are lovely. They will help you find your seat or buy what you want. They have beer and wine and snacks. You can have them in the lobby or in their adorable outdoor seating error. I don't think you can take in anything but water, I just don't recall. They also have soda and all their snacks are in the cute logo bags. You can tell the volunteers are proud of this place and they should be.There is not a bad seat in the house. The seats are comfortable and the entire space is spotless. You can even go outside if you need a break or there is an intermission. We took out grandson to the see The Bill Withers Songbooks and it was amazing. The sound was perfect. The singer and his band were just great and he sounded like Mr. Withers. He also did some of his own music and it was great.Getting in and out is easy. The patrons are nice. The staff is the best,There is nothing not to like so you must go. Use their website or Google TOCA and you will find a list of upcoming events. The area is safe, it is all just wonderful."
"I wanted to give the blue water grill another chance since it's so close to our house and the ambiance is so nice at sunset. We got server Sara and she was awesome. I was on the fence whether to order the grilled octopus versus the sashimi scallops and Sara recommended the octopus and I'm so glad I listened to her. My friend got the crab cakes and those were delicious also. For my entree I ordered the steak and it was perfectly cooked medium well just as I ordered it. I'm so glad I went back and will return in the future. I noticed they have happy hour and will try it next time."
"Came here for Valentine's Day and we made a reservation of course! We waited a bit before getting seated but they gave all the ladies a rose so it was worth it. I recommend the Branzino because the risotto is delicious! We also ordered the New York strip and tuna tostadas. The Steak had quite a bit of fat on it that we couldn't chew but the potato mille fuille it came with was amazing. Def a spot to go to for a special occasion or date night I love the location because of the stunning views from every seat. The only downside is parking is a little tricky. There is street parking and some lots but it can get busy."
"Saw Cash Cash here and had a great experience. I think they also had another little area with a different dj if you don't like the main one. I like the venue but the parking next door was pretty expensive. We ended up finding street parking maybe a 5 minute walk away"
"Having a sorta anniversary day on one that has a significant history like November 22, has a dual effect. The anniversary is more easily remembered and there is alway the distant hovering and fading echo of the world event. Younger people will categorize 9/11 as such. After taking in a good movie, a toast seemed in order. And one can practically fall from the theater into Lola's outside patio. Happy hour starts at three with a nice $ Margarita price. Delicious, we would have had two if bf hadn't started suggesting to passerbys on the street to go see that movie and I hadn't finger licked the bowl of green sauce. Our waiter said sweetly, we would have given you another bowl. Also, Danielle was delightful."
"I came to the Grand Annex because my friend Jason Luckett was performing here. I can only speak on my experience for that day. The theater itself is a small, venue that seems to be able to seat maybe 200 people comfortably. The concert I attended was socially distanced so I couldn't give you and accurate count on seating capacity. The stage has a baby grand piano and is not very big. This venue is more of an up close and personal setting experience. I think there is a small bar to left of the stage. There is elevated seating in the back with a few table and chairs. Acoustics? The sound system was excellent. My friend plays the piano, guitar and sings. He sounded amazing. I did have difficulty with parking. That's because there was a film being shot across the street at the same time so no parking was available near the venue. Luckily, I found parking on another street not too far from Grand Annex."
"Went here for a girls night and i absolutely adored the ambiance and vibe of this place. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, i felt like i was visiting my friend's home. We had 5 different cocktails and i was blown away by each one!! Each drink is crafted with passion and perfection. Their cocktails are amazing, but don't sleep on their delicious food. We devoured the guac/ceviche and the rack of lamb. The unique twists and out of the box foods are definitely worth trying! Such a wonderful and fun experience, definitely can't wait to go back."
"Exchange LA is a very cool venue. It's an old bank and they've done a good job of preserving it. I've been to Exchange for multiple artists like Illenium, Kaskade and Deadmau5 and more. The vibes are simply great. Sound system is pretty decent because it's a small space. Despite it being a smaller venue, they don't overpack it unlike Academy or Sound. I hope they keep it this way! They do have coat check. If you're an EDM junkie, you'll like Exchange LA!"
"Here for Super Bowl 2025. This place has an extremely tight serving and cooking team. Good atmosphere, great prices, fast service. Nadia served me and was excellent."
"I had driven past this restaurant for years, but I finally decided to go for lunch. Walking in the restaurant it looks very clean and cozy. The waiter was professional and efficient. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with pasta and it was delicious. The chicken was tender and moist. The pasta was very well seasoned. I'd like to come back again with my family."
"The first time I came here during opening week, it was packed, and I thought, "Okay, this is cute" but it didn't immediately make me want to go again. Fast forward to yesterday--Sunday lunch at 12:30 p.m.--and the place was emptier than my social calendar after a breakup. Vibes? Off. My mom immediately asked me, "What's wrong with this place?" and I told her, "Oh, it's still early. It'll pick up." It didn't and Mama noticed. We were the only people in the entire restaurant. The food? Decent. The sashimi was chef's kiss--fresh and tasty. The cooked food? Eh, better luck next time- "You're just doing too much." If you come, definitely stick to the sushi and sashimi; they've got that down. Simple. Beautiful cuts. Fresh wasabi. As for the price, prepare to pay like you're dining oceanfront--except there's no ocean in sight. The space is gorgeous, service is great, but you're mostly paying for the Pacific City zip code and the view of... I think the Pasea????Final verdict: Beautiful bougie decor perfect for the Gram, good sashimi and sushi but don't expect your wallet to leave happy. Im not sure what it is about Kai but... it just felt off. Overall, maybe bring your Ex's credit card because I wouldn't want to front this bill on my own."
"If you're looking for a place to hangout on the weekend this is a good place to be. There is always a DJ & LIVE music. Christine rocks, she's the bar manager & her staff is very accommodating. The drinks are great and at a reasonable price. Be ready to pay a cover charge which isn't much. It Rangers from $5-$15. Make sure to visit their website as there is also big name bands who also play at this venue/bar."
"I found this place after searching through Yelp for a nice restaurant for a holiday family dinner and I was soooo satisified with our experience here. I made reservations through OpenTable, and had to call them on the day of because 2 of my family members got sick so we had to change the party number. Our server (I forgot her name, I'm sorry!) was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful in explaining the menu and giving us recommendations for both food and drinks. My family ordered wine, and I got a Ranch Water cocktail, which was delicious and festive. The bread that comes out was so delicious! The loaf was shaped like a flower, and each section was a different type of bread. I fell in love with the jalapeno and whole wheat. For a party of 4, we ordered to share - the clam chowder, scallops, sea bass, and porterhouse steak. Everything was so delicious and cooked to perfection! My family and I loved every single dish. The restaurant is actually located on the first floor of a huge office(?) building, but that also means there's plenty of parking. The ambiance inside is cozy, intimate, and spacious - my family loved the vibe of the place! The Ranch is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion and I'll definitely be keeping them on my list of places to take my loved ones!"
"This restaurant is located in the Balboa Fun Zone. You pay for parking using the parking meter or parkmobile app. Restaurant opens at 11:30 AM. Our party arrived on time, but the gate was closed. Luckily the staff was reachable by phone to open the gates. *Happy Hour Review*Contrary to whats posted on the website, the All Day Happy Hour applies to open-seating and not just the bar which I found to be great because we had a party of 4. I love the vibe of the saloon and the indoor dining areas. I also love the view of the harbor. The windows are not tinted so people walking by for their boat reservations can see you by the way. Also great music choices as they play some country songs. As for the food itself, it was as expected for a happy hour. The portions were a little bit on the smaller side, so you don't leave hungry but you also don't leave really full. We ordered the BBQ Slider x2 (singular, there are not multiple sliders), clam chowder, side of fries, calamari appetizer, and a bacon burger. Definitely reference my pictures for an idea of the portions. This restaurant is known for their seafood, so I'll try not to be too critical. The BBQ brisket sliders were delicious and nothing tasted bad. Clam Chowder was AMAZING, but it's just a cup of soup so I wish there was more. I was not a fan of the calamari just because I didn't like the tempura over breading. Fries were fries, they're good but a little thin. Perhas I will try the actual seafood dinner options someday, but I do not expect to see a change in portion sizes."
"charming, checkdelicious, checkgreat service, checklowkey-high standards, checkgood drinks, checkwe had the ahi tuna, meatballs, lobster rav, clams, and their table bread nice and soft and warmand then a calligraphy class upstairsmisty, the owner, was a complete doll, made us feel like we were welcomed into her private home. such a sweet establishment, I highly recommend."
"I wanted to up date my review because I hosted a work party for 64 people on 12/10/2024. With the help of the chef/owners, I was able to have an unbelievable tasty elegant dinner and was allowed to have a multi course meal. I got to pick 2 appetizers, 2 different pastas for the primi, 2 different courses for the secundi and a dessert. I opted for the arancini, bruschetta and the restaurant threw in a brisket with crema on top of toasted bread. Everyone raved about the arancini and the brisket. For the pasta, I opted for the gnocchi with marinara and a ravioli in brown butter sauce. For the mains, shrimp with a lemon sauce and an Italian stew on top of polenta. Again, everyone raved about the mains and finally tiramisu for dessert which was grandma's recipe made by the granddaughter. The restaurant also selected wine that were perfect for the food. All I can say is Grazie! Highly recommend this place for an elegant meal as well as any large function. You won't be disappointed."
"Groundbreaking history makes this theater special. Way before he was Neil Old, Neil Young opened the theater in 1973. A few years later Marley recorded Live at the Roxy there, though, let's be real, it wouldn't have made sense to record Live at The Roxy anywhere else. It hosted the original U.S. run of Rocky Horror and the first Pee Wee Herman show. Celebs like Lennon and Nicholson hung out there- I saw Colin Farrell the last time I was there. He was in crutches. I think he got beat up by a critic."
"Good day to you, fine readers! I, Obadiah Thornwillow, born in 1784 and most curiously transported to your modern world, have had the rare pleasure of visiting one of your breweries. Though I feared I might encounter the soulless haste of many modern establishments, I was instead welcomed into an oasis of warmth and camaraderie, so reminiscent of my own time that I nearly wept into my tankard. The ale, oh, the ale! Strong and dark as the depths of a moonless forest, it bore a fire within that surely sprang from the cauldron of a demon. Each sip was a battle, yet a victory, leaving me emboldened and delightfully lightheaded. I daresay it rivaled even the finest brews of my own era, which were crafted with care and reverence for the art.The setting was nothing short of magical. Lights, strung like fireflies upon invisible threads, cast a golden glow across the open air. The wooden benches and tables seemed to invite both merriment and quiet reflection. The people, friendly and unhurried, sat in joyful company, seemingly untouched by the sorcery of their portable glowing devices. Their laughter rang clear, unbroken by the distractions I have so often observed in this age.For one evening, I felt at home in this foreign time--a place where the spirits are strong, the people kind, and the atmosphere alive with magic and fellowship. Five stars, for a taste of enchantment and a brief return to the warmth of an era long past!"
"We had a great experience ordering food for take out from Orange Curry. We went into the shop not knowing much and taking up a lot of their time trying to decide what to order. They never tried to rush us and were super accommodating and polite, offering us samples from the steam table. We ordered many different items: aloo gobi (cauliflower potato), palak paneer (spinach cheese), chicken tikka masala, daal (lentils), goat curry, rice, naan. Everything tasted really good! Some a little more spicy (palak paneer) than others but not bad really and a mild/medium on the spice scale. Pro tip: add sour cream or plain yogurt and it pairs so well while toning down the spice.Orange Curry is a great way to try Indian food if you're new to it since they offer samples. It's also great for take out since the portions are huge! and there's limited seating (3 tables). Mango Lassi (mango yogurt smoothie) is so good. Super filling so share with another person of you won't be able to eat your dinner!"
"I haven't left a yelp review in a while but wanted to jump on here to boost this restaurants rating because local restaurants are having a hard time these days and I thought this place was great. All the food was really flavorful and I thought the price point was really reasonable for what they were serving. Had lobster bisque, fried catfish and the steak. Service was really attentive too. Will definitely be back for my NOLA fix!Heads up they only have a beer and wine license (offer soju cocktails though)"
