"Love coming to Chiang Rai for authentic Northern Thai food! The menu is large so I get some dishes that I love every time but also try new menu items each visit. Some items I get almost every visit is the papaya salad, khao soi noodle soup, and midnight chicken. This visit, I added green curry, thai fried rice, and pad thai stir-fried noodle. For drinks, got the thai iced green tea which I enjoy more than the thai ice tea, however the thai ice green tea can be quite sweet so I started asking for more milk to make the drink less sweet.Highly recommend Chiang Rai for amazing thai food!"

I don't eat seafood, so I ask them to leave it out and they do. It also comes with a little salad. They don't have fountain drinks, so when you order a drink, it's in a can, but they give you a cup with ice for it. It includes Chef's Choice sashimi served with cucumber and seaweed salad, gyoza (3 pieces), miso soup, and California Roll or Tuna Cut Roll (5pcs). It was a good spread and variety of food and filled me up. Service was prompt and friendly. Ambience was pretty nice with comfy booth seating (see pics below). The interior of the restaurant has a warm feeling to it, quite roomy from bar seating to regular tables seating. If it is busy, seating at the bar is good too. You can watch them prepare the sushi art work, pretty cool.They have quite a selection of food to choose from, but if you undecided, just try their noodles or fried rice special. I ordered the Red Curry (#125) with chicken and asked for extra spicy. The thin strips of chicken were paired with slices of bell peppers and had a hint of mint as well. It was simmering in a coconut milk broth and was decently spicy without compromising flavor. My wife ordered the Kai Koowah (#106) and hers was equally as delicious. I sampled hers and the beef was tender, delicious and the thick cut noodles were fantastic. Mi Ama ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp. Hers was also very tasty and came as a large enough portion to share with the family. We highly recommend this place if you are craving some great Thai Food! We will definitely come back for more!"

It's owned by the same company as "Sushi on Fire" and while we've been here several times we've never tried either of their sushi locations.Duck Noodle: Noodles with roasted duck (Skin on), bean sprouts, green onion, cilantro, and garlic sauce. My favorite, very nice soy sauce based broth, overall noodle soup tasted clean and not heavy.Potak: (Hot & sour seafood soup) Thai spicy soup with seafood in a spicy broth of lemongrass (Shrimp, fish, calamari, and mussel). Delicious and a good option for seafood lovers, my wife uses their version as the bar for tiwhr places. Pad Thai: pan-fried noodles with egg, bean sprouts, cooked in sweet and tangy sauce garnished with crushed peanuts. Noodle were perfectly cooked and not falling apart, consistent for takeout or in-person dining.Shrimp Blanket: Marinated shrimp rolls with wonton skin served with sweet and sour sauce. Nice and crunchy, tasted great with the sweet and sour sauce."

This is an off menu item and will only be put on the menu if people are willing to try it.Spicy spaghetti was probably my absolute favorite thing, the flavors of sweet spicy and savory just dance on your tastebuds. This place is known for their rice street noodles and it's a Thai version of kung pao chicken. It was good but my preference would've been to make it a little spicier. It was more on the sweet side for me. Overall probably one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to in a while. And I would definitely come back to try the other dishes."

The food was delicious! And can I say, I can never really get a good papaya salad that is more on Thai style vs westernized. What I mean is, o get it.., Americans do not like that fishy, liming, salty, a little bit of sweetness goodiness like you would find in Thailand. It's usually on the more bland side too. And for over the spiciness... I can never really get the right heat! I could have gotten the extra spicy here... still they could have made it a bit more Thai style...Food: * Papaya salad - good taste and flavor, could use a bit more fish sauce or some sort of on the fisher side... I do love it when they use raw crab in papaya salad or dry shrimp. Still very tasty and I would definitely order it again. * spicy basil with beef- very yummy! * pad sew ew- cooked very well. * Chinese broccoli with pork- yummy! Everything was so good! Can't complain about anything except maybe their portion was on the smaller side... but very tasty and I would come back. Too bad I don't live near by, wish there was a place like this near me. "This is the only place my wife and I go to for Thai food in the Anaheim area. Located in the shopping center off Euclid and Crescent where Jollibee and 99 Ranch is located. Although this shopping center can get pretty busy as many shopping centers with several popular Asian businesses do, I'm always surprisingly able to find decent parking. We have dined in several times and the restaurant itself is clean has a good amount of seating. I've never seen it busy enough to be close to a full house or would require to be on a waiting list. We have usually been seated immediately. The staff has always been great. Very polite, attentive and quick in handling any requests. We have also ordered by phone and even through delivery apps and the orders are always correct. We have never had anything from our orders missing ever.My wife always orders the bbq short ribs special which is pretty much the same type of bbq short rib special you can order from Thai Bbq. We used to go to Thai Bbq to get this BBQ short ribs special but since we think it tastes the same, maybe even a bit better, we no longer make the trip to Cerritos where the nearest Thai bbq location is. Their pad Thai and pad see ew is always on point. The papaya salad is always on point as well. The one dish we always have to order is their crab fried rice. This is the one thing I'll always recommend aside from the bbq short ribs special. This fried rice is full of flavor and the portion size of the order is enough for 4-5 people. 2-3 people if you love and eat as much of this fried rice as I do.. ok maybe 1-2 people if you're like me. There's a good amount of egg and they aren't shady with the crab meat, which the crab meat isn't artificial crab btw. The price isn't too bad either!We have tried several other typical dishes that is usually ordered and just like everything else, on point and never disappointing. Never had any food, ordering, or general issues with this business and always a good experience. This is why we continue to come here. Definitely recommend trying this place out if you're craving some Thai food! Don't forget to get the mango and sticky rice if you decide to give them a try!"

They also have a lunch menu M-F from 11 am - 2:45 pm and is not valid on Holidays.I got their yellow curry lunch special and it comes with soup or salad with rice and an egg roll for $14.95. I got their soup, which was tangy and sour but the flavor was really good. There was chunks of mushrooms, tomatoes and beef. The broth was light. I really enjoyed it. It looks spicy but I didn't think it was.Their yellow curry was good. mild in flavor, but the veggies were really crunchy. Like undercooked. However, maybe this was by design because their potatoes were soft and fully cooked. The egg roll was hot and crispy when I got it and not super greasy.I sat outside, but inside they have a tv and a small fountain towards the back. I would be back to try some of their other dishes and maybe I'll try that salad instead of soup next time."
