FOOD/DRINKS :- Woodfire Steak Taco - 5 hr skirt steak cooked in puree of 5 chiles, finished on woodfire, topped with salsa macha, onion and cilantro - Al Pastor - 18 hr port shoulder finished on woodfire, cascabel adobo cactus, pineapple, tomato, red onion, cilantro Both tacos were delicious. The organic fresh made blue corn tortillas were excellent and the meats / sauces were all very flavorful! - Chips and Salsa - whipped jalapeño and smoky tomato salsasThis was so yum! The portion was huge for only $3.25 and the chips were warm, fresh, and seasoned. The salsas were unique and def housemade! Jalapeño creamy sauce did have a kick to it. Surely this is some white-washed establishment looking to serve you gentrified "tacos" right? Nope - these are legit delish and authentic as you can get. They have a lot of different selections of meat. They're all very very tasty, but are they worth the premium price? If you have a craving, go for it. Personally their asada is very tasty and 3x cheaper than the ribeye. It's the same argument about In-N-Out vs Five Guys. The Five Guys burger is definitely tastier, but never worth the value when a Double Double is amazing and much cheaper.I liked the Ribeye, but I LOVED their asada. Seriously one of the best asada I've had in the over 80 taquerias I've ever tried."

Staff is super friendly and they have a variety of meat, plates and drinks. I got buche and al pastor tacos and they were delicious. The buche I typically like with a little crunch, but regardless, it was still very tasty. The al pastor was yummy too. "My company has been here a few times for lunch and they have done a great job accommodating our party. They have plenty of seating here. We've tried so many menu items and everyone has always enjoyed what they have ordered. I'm in love with their fish tacos. You get three tacos with thick chips and salsa on the side. I can't even begin to tell you how delicious these tacos are. Crispy on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside. Pure fish taco perfection. The service has always been great. We get refills right away and never have to wait for anything. This restaurant is a little pricey and that's what prevents me from going back more often than I do, especially for lunch. However, those tacos are calling my name and I'll have to go back very soon to start the new year off right."

However, since you order your food before you sit down people can take a table and even though you were their first. It would be fair if you can only get a table after you order. For the food we ordered the appetizer sampler which was good. Also, ordered the grilled shrimp place with cauliflower rice which was good as well. Our last dish was the seared ahi salad which was bad. There was no sear to the ahi and it was very bland. I will give it another try and hope the food we choose next time will be tastier."

My boyfriend would rate his tacos a solid 4/5 and I would rate it a 5/5. I also love their red & green sauce it is the BEST sauce that any taco place should have in their taco restaurant. My boyfriend and I thought the taquitos were alright it just needs salt for the seasoning, but the it was crunchy, smooth, and crispy. The lettuce and other condiments were delicious. We both would give this a 3/5 since it lack a bit of seasoning. They have their condiments station which you can get on your own with a small bag and the condiment station has limes, onions & jalapeño mixed, and carrots. The service was fast & employee is very nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. There is plenty of parking, but it is very small. We just so happened to see a sign for them while shopping around and decided to give them a try; we weren't disappointed. This is a different kind of taco than I've ever had, it's basically like a giant soft taco that you could also eat open-faced. The tortilla was soft and fresh, the meat was tender & flavorful, and whatever sauce they use is tasty and not spicy at all. I opted for the breakfast Perro taco, so it came with scrambled eggs instead of beans, which the regular taco would have. Just one taco alone is a pretty good size and is definitely pretty filling. I was raised in Cerritos so I know Artesia very well and made my way over from Thai bbq. Walked in, nice clean little mom and pop. Seems like the guy was the chef and cashier. I didn't realize there was a little bell to let them know you're there so I stood around for a good minute til I pressed it lol. For safety, I'd say they should have something that makes a noise when you first walk in. Anyhow, he came out, rung me up and food was packed and ready. Got home and tore into the bag. The chips definitely tasted made to order. Extremely fresh! The salsa was sooooo good. He asked if I wanted the hot sauce and of course I did. Even my mom indulged and she usually can't do spicy. It was a perfect amount of spice. She said her tacos were the softest, not soggy tacos she ever had. The meat was perfect and plentiful. The queso tacos were simple and delicious. No dried out tortillas here! The Birria was nice and soft. Their meat was perfectly cooked. Not tough or a crazy chew to it. My mom said the chips were addicting. We were full just off our tacos and some chips. I needed a nap LOL. They have a nice straightforward menu. Not a million things, just enough options to keep you interested for multiple visits.
