"My new "joint" for lengua...Lengua tacos, lengua burritos, even lengua nachos. Oh... did I say LENGUA?If you've never tied it, do yourself a favor. Was always a fave of mine growing up, but was prepped differently than my wife's family has done it over the years. Used to be a "cut" that was tossed out the back of butcher shops for God only knows why. Simply stated, if prepared properly, the most tender, delectable cut you'll ever come across...But, all that said, Leo's gets it right and I just can't get enough of it. Super tender, cut into minute little chucks of orgasmic deliciousness!!!The condiments provided onsite are exceptional as well, including the green chili, which can pack a punch! If in the area, don't hesitate to stop in. Not cheap, especially for a "food truck" but worth every freaking penny!!!BTW... even though it states "cash only", they do accept credit/debit cards."
"Every fish I've had here and every sauce has been amazing! I used to pop in once or twice a week, but just haven't been craving fish as much. First place I've ever had swordfish and theirs is always great. The kabobs are amazing when they have them available. It's a little loud sitting outside, but at least they have a good sized patio! The staff is also super nice here."

"Ahhhmazing tacos and the services in also ahhhmazing!! I went with the al pastor tacos and they put a lot of meat and even guacamole!! Give them a try if you're driving on Sepulveda and between Devonshire and Chatsworth, since they're usually there Monday to Friday."
"Food was great!! Service was kind and attentive!! I really enjoy coming in on Tuesdays for taco Tuesdays!!Also come in on Thursday for the oysters ."
"Do you want to die? Die? And goooo to heaven?? This is such a great fusion of Mexican and Asian with the of the most brilliant Soulful taste buds seasoning everything!!Sorry I'm Asian and this is the best damn fried rice I've ever had. These damn egg rolls?? The quesidilla didn't even last 5 minutes once I put it on our table. My kids are bougie when it comes to good flavors... this passed their test! And the garlic noodles with shrimp. Im following this truck everywhere!!"
"Tonight I told my Hubby come on let's go get some yummy Street Tacos Tacos El Compa Taco Truck has the best tacos! They are so delicious and yummy and the staff is friendly and courteous! If your in Buena Park try them out"
"Tacos tortillas hechas a mano hand made tortillas. HUGE!So this truck is in Compton on the west bound side of Compton Blvd, past Atlantic. Hand made tortilla tacos are huge! 2 is prob more than enough. Lots of salsas. But all lacking heat or flavor. Toppings are not the greatest. Horchata was really good. And they have real Mexican coke bottles. Because this area is plagued with taco stands and taco trucks. I would probably opt to try other places before coming back to this spot. Honestly Tacos El Sapo in East LA is much better. Gotta try the other spots and stands around here though."
"I've had a positive experience every time I come here. Food is fresh and portion are a good size. Taco Tuesday offers a free fish taco with a purchase of any taco. Items ordered: fish tacos, agua de piña con chamoy and Tajín. Overall, I thought that fish tacos were great. They were cooked perfected and bartered just right. The salsa was good and offered just the right amount of spice. The pineapple water was super delicious. My 3 year old devoured the entire thing. Overall, fast service and plenty of space inside. The employees are generous and the inside is always looking clean. Good food and descent prices."
"Great tasting Mulitas! I ordered two for lunch but I could only eat one because I was so full. Ate the other for dinner. The salsas, onions and cilantro are so fresh! Definitely going back to try their burrito. Great staff too."
"Consistently great food, and service. If you're on tight budget the junior burger will get you by for a little under 4 bucks or make it a double for a dollar more."
"Stopped by as we were looking for street tacos, it is dark where they park and the truck may be hard to miss! I'm glad we gave it a shot, because the food is great and the staff are incredibly nice. They even made us a small version of the sumo just to try it. We went on taco Tuesday so the tacos were only $2 each. Please consider putting some chairs/tables and more lights for people to sit and eat so you get more visibility from the street!Coming back for the nachos and fries for sure :)"
"I have to say, this is the best birria I've had in a long time! The flavor is rich, but not greasy at all-just perfect. My favorite dish is their birria flautas paired with sopa fría and frijoles puercos. If you're looking for delicious birria and authentic flavors, this is the place to go. Don't forget to ask for her special salsa."

I'm a Leo's Taco veteran. I've eaten at the LaBrea/Venice location, the Hollywood/Western location, and some other location I can't remember. Now I'm in Pedro and there's a stand in my hood. WOOHOO! Don't forget to ask for grilled onions and a bowl of the yummy beans. #fueledbyfrijoles

We went to an event in San Pedro and couldnt find a restaurant to eat at by cruising around on our scooters so I googled and we ended up here! I was SO pleased with where we ended up!! I ordered the grilled sea bass with garlic butter sauce, white rice and black beans. All of that was $14.95!!! When my dish was received, I had a large piece of sea bass in front of me with perfect grill marks! Honestly, this was one of the best pieces of fish I've had in far too long. I always feel like nice restaurants over do it with fish (ie, crusted macadamia) and never let the fish do the talking!! Well, this piece of sea bass was simple and fresh! I live in North OC and would absolutely drive out to eat this again. My wife ordered the shrimp tacos and I didn't try them but she said they were delicious, they did look amazing but I had so much food on my own plate that I didn't want to waste any room in my belly. The white rice was buttery and we boxed up both the rice and black beans as we didn't want those to go to waste. We also ordered the chips and salsa. The chips were super fresh and I'm assuming homemade. The salsa was good...we had the red salsa and the pico de gallo. The red salsa was great and the pico was average but I wasn't there for Mexican food! I topped off my lunch with a fountain coke with crushed ice. It was the cherry on top of a perfect lunch! The food here was fresh, big portion, delicious, well prepared and let the fish do the talking. I wish I had taken pictures to share here but that was the last thing on my wind when the server dropped off my plate!! I wish there were more of these restaurants around! I love that the fish were all grilled and that you could pick your own sauce!

This is hands down my taco trunk that I've found since moving down to Long Beach. Right off of Pacific coast highway, really well lit so it's easy to spot. The menu,They've made some changes, expanding it over the past couple of months. They have everything from tacos to sopes to burritos and tortas. More than most trunks. The meat selection is huge, chicken, steak, head, tongue, all different kinds of pork, man. There's a good to select from. Now I recommend the tacos. Their staple. They actually season all the meat very well. The tortillas hold together and aren't soggy where everything fall out (had it before at another one, not fun). They're usually out in 5 minutes, depending on your order of course. The ingredients are all so fresh. I can rave on about this truck but enough of my opinion. Go make your own! You won't regret it!

A client of mine in South Gate sent me here for horchata. Yes, she told me that this place has the "best horchata" that she would drive 15 minutes from South Gate to Downey. She told me that they grind the rice and canela for their horchata here. The place was busy for being around 4 pm on a Friday for their happy hour deals on alcoholic beverages. My client also told me to try their fish tacos which are only 99 cents on Tuesdays and Fridays. It might be good to call if you're after this fish taco deal as I am not sure if they have this all the time. This is the first time fish tacos were served at room temperature. After I ordered at the counter, I went to the restroom, waited to use it. When I finished using the restroom, the fish tacos came out straight away from the kitchen with my horchata, side of chips, and salsa.I took one bite and it was room temperature and it didn't seem to come straight out of the fryer. Maybe it sat for a while I was waiting to use the restroom? It was a solid tasting fish taco if it was hot. I don't know if I can knock them for room temperature fish tacos because I went to the restroom and had to wait to use it because there were two girls inside it.The place has a party vibe because of the alcoholic beverages and the loud reggaeton music.Go for their horchata, party vibes, happy hour drinks, and if you're lucky....fresh out of the fryer fish tacos for 99 cents (when they have this deal on Tuesdays and Fridays).

Came here hungry and eager to eat. Tacos are always extra good when the family is very hungry! We ordered several tacos: carnitas, lengua, al pastor, and asada. We also got an asada burrito.First and foremost, CASH ONLY. The lady accommodated us and accepted Venmo. Not sure if that's common or just this time since we were one of the first patrons of the day. This cash only thing won't count against them here, because they accommodated, but cash only places are inconvenient and definitely makes me think twice before going back. The tacos were pretty good. The lengua was tender and full of flavor. The al pastor was pretty good too. Surprising to me, the carnitas was my favorite here. That's Def a first. The asada was pretty salty. My husband pointed that out too and that's huge. I'm a lot more sensitive to salt and he noticed it here. The asada burrito was even more salty than the taco. Maybe the rice was also salty? ::shrug::Salsas. Red salsa was pretty good and came with a solid kick. I always appreciate flavorful salsas with a kick. The green one tasted ...old. Almost like it had sat there for a few days in the heat. Not very good at all. The cucumber and radish were also room temperature. Idk, but these things need to stay fresh and in ice at least, no?Overall, if you come, have their carnitas tacos, or lengua. Use the red salsa. You'll be pleased with that much.

Solid neighborhood staple. Can't go wrong with the fried fish tacos. An ample amount of fish, with zesty white sauce! They're always steady busy, but quick and hospitable. I haven't eaten in, but there's plenty of space! Reventaco is always CLEAN!!

"Awesome Menudo Medium is 13.50, Large was 16.99. Both Flour and Corn Tortillas are homemade! Nice spot for menudo. Sat and Sun are All you can eat menudo. Service was amazing!!!! The seating both inside and outside seating. The place is definitely decent and very clean."
"Visiting Tacburg made our day. I was apprehensive because usually when food is so visually appealing, it lacks flavor. When I bit into the Skeletor Taco, I knew that Tacburg had the visual AND flavor locked down. A rare accomplishment. The food alone was worth the drive from L.A. proper. The service was the cherry on top. John was so hospitable. We look forward to returning!"
"I am a fan of tacos de tripa "Crispy", so when I'm the area, this is my go to spot. My tacos are always bomb! I'm a red salsa girl and their salsa never disappoints. Service is always friendly. Now, this taco truck is located at the corner of Artesia and Paramount, so just know that if eating here, it may feel like your eating while on the freeway(laughing emoji). Just think, Fast and Furious....... Yet, Well worth it. We always take our orders to go. They do have pop up tents to sit under and they seem to do the job. I honestly would not be able to handle the cars zooming by nor the annoying loud obnoxious whips, No Sir No MAAM!! Now, because I am finishing this review the morning after our last visit, I do have to let y'all know to check your to go orders. Because my BF does not eat onions & they've made the mistake once, I now request onion and cilantro on the side. Last night, he had cilantro on his tacos and I had nothing on or on the side (SUPER SAD face emoji). I made it work, however, I would just say to double check before leaving, no biggie, unless you get HANGRY......... I was on the cusp of hangry, so we all survived."
"I was surprised to see the mixed reviews, but I must've come on a good day because I thoroughly enjoyed their food. My BIL recommended this place and so we decided to come here for lunch on a Tuesday around 11:00a.This is located off of 1st Street, between Flower Street and Bristol Street. It sits by itself, not in a strip mall or anything, so it may be easy to miss. They also have locations in Orange, Long Beach, and Stanton. The inside was kind of empty still, perhaps being early in the week and before prime lunch time, with Spanish karaoke music playing. It's like a mini supermarket with lots of snacks, condiments, etc. that's available for purchase, too. We went up to the register and ordered the sopa de la casa (house ramen birria + consommé, $14.99), birria tour (quesabirria + red taco + bomb taco + consommé, $11.99), and dorado taco ($3.29). We also got horchata ($3.99) and tamarindo ($3.99) to drink. They had a sign for Taco Tuesday so we asked if it applies right now and the lady said "yes," but I guess we didn't get the right tacos because nothing was discounted...oh well. The birria ramen was so good...the noodles were pretty chewy though (my BIL said that they make their own?), but it kept its shape in the hot soup. If anything, it's the soup that made this so superb...I can drink it by itself...and the meat, I think they crisped it up (pan-fried?) for this dish, which was a nice touch. The ramen came with one taco, too. The tacos were good, too. For the crunchy tacos, they put a crunchy shell on the outside of another shell (see pic). It's not full on crunch like the tacos at Taco Bell or Del Taco (sorry to even compare with them), but still had a nice crunchy texture. What I really liked was that they give you a condiment server that has cilantro, onions, lime, salsa, and cucumbers so that you can customize your tacos (the tacos only had meat in them for that reason, I think). I absolutely cannot eat cilantro so this was a win for me. Onions and lime, that's all I needed. Their horchata and tamarindo were yummy, too! It's like a 20oz cup, I think, but I could've had another cup to wash the food down. Btw, don't wear white! Lol"
"The food truck is outside of a buisness suits building. They have a perfect spot! Their parked on the main road and the tree gives their truck tons of shade. 2 signs are visible if your passing by. Love that they have a tv a table for a quick bite.I wish I can order everything on their menu. I ordered a torta (birra) & 2 birra tacos carne a safe with everything. 3 sauces available to easily take with you. Consome dip which was amazing. The tacos were so flavorful and my veggies were so yummy! Love their atmosphere from there genuine staff."
"Angel's is the go to taco stand, and I've been blessed to live by one for the past 3 years from the Eagle Rock location to Long Beach. I love trying new places, and I've tried all the nearby taco stands. No one else comes close! Everything is made fresh and by hand. The salsas, guac, pickled onions and grilled onions are always super flavorful and packs a punch. My wife and I usually go with the Al pastor potatoes and they are hefty! It always takes us two sittings to finish them. Go with what you like and try the potato if you haven't! It's a game changer."
"Hands down thee best carne asada fries in town. Their milkshakes are excellent also. The restaurant always looks clean and nicely air conditioned. They have friendly service. I'm surprised this place isn't packed. Every time we go, there is no line. And they are quick when bringing out your order as well. I recommend you go here instead of King Taco mainly because KT is ALWAYS packed."
"The shrimp tacos are delicious! watch out for the red hot sauce, get green for a milder version. They even take credit cards!!"
"Our go to spot for deciduous tacos! The owners are really nice & friendly. It's a chill vibe with some booths and tables to dine in. A must to come in for tacos for lunch. Can't really go wrong with any of the taco selections"
"I was there twice in two weeks and both times the food and margaritas were delicious. The service was great and everyone who worked there was friendly and hard working. I hadn't found any Mexican food place that I was happy with in recent years until I came here. I will return many times."
"Tacos were bomb! Price was fantastic! Chewy, our cook, was awesome. And we can't forget our server! She was very friendly and even offered us grilled onions and jalapenos. I ordered lengua, asada, and tripas tacos and they were tasty! Loved the 4 salsas and onion & cilantro bar. I put all the salsas on my tacos, so I'm not sure which one kicked my butt, but one of them was hot! But that's just the way I like it! I think this is going to be my new spot! They have asada, pollo, carnitas, cabeza, lengua, tripas, and a couple more options. That's all I remember! P.S. I don't know all the details, but they also serve fruit smoothies and special cut-up mixed fruit options. Check them out!"
"My Love. My Heart. Do you Miss Texas?come get You some Rolled tacos these are the my Best Bvtches since Chico Tacos in El Paso.the meat the service the beer girl also Serves Micheladas. get You that Gurly drink, she is Goals"
"Been to these guys a hand full of times since last month, great spot for some late night street tacos! They said they're normally there from 7pm to 2am Tuesday through Sunday. Both times we went was during the week. The tacos here are excellent, I normally stick to asada but they have all the normal meats including fiery el pastor, pollo etc. I've seen people ordering burritos also. The asada is juicy, salty, and pretty much everything you want from a street taco. They're two bucks a piece and cash only my friends, you know the drill. Our favorite part of this place is the awesome spread of extra you get for free at the end of the stand. All the radishes, cucumber, onions, limes you want! And they don't just have bags, they have little plastics cups for all the sauces, double points for that. The green sauce is bomb, and the guac sauce is also excellent, not too watery like other taco stands I've been too.Give them a shot if you're a fan of street tacos, you won't regret it!"
"I love Leo's Tacos! We usually always get the Al Pastor Tacos. This is what they're known for! It's neat to watch the guy cut the Pastor off the Trompo and top it off with a pineapple piece that is expertly sliced! We've also had the Carne Asada & Carnitas, but for me, the Al Pastor is the best! They offer 10 different meats. You can get more than just tacos ... they have burritos, tortas, mulitas, quesadillas, nachos, and more! They have a condiments bar with all the fixings you need. We enjoy their Habanero Salsa. They also include beans, grilled jalapenos & onions, and pickled jalapeños for you to serve yourself. It's very nice that a taco truck will provide the extras beyond just the basic toppings. This truck is located at the corner of Avalon Blvd & Lomita Blvd. There are some parking spots in this tight lot. You can also try to grab street parking. This was some sort of place for either gas or tires previous to being the location for Leos Taco Truck. There is an old garage set up with tables & chairs. It's nice that it shelters you a little from the wind, heat, or rain! [ https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/leos-tacos-truck-wilmington?select=HPrR56VRIgWcfo1l8Geo6A ]This is a Taco Truck we love to come support! We've been coming here since 2019 and will continue to patronize this business!"
"This place was recommended to me a while ago. I was in the area and decided to stop in for a to go order. Street parking only. There are apartment buildings in the area so keep that in mind when searching for a spot. I was fortunate to get parking half a block away. Inside you have several seating options in several rooms, patio dining and counter seating as well. The service was excellent. While waiting I was offered something to drink and multiple staff members checked in with me to make sure I was being taken care of. I ordered chocolate chippancakes for my daughter, which she loved. I opted for the California Omelet which came with potatoes and toast. Serving sizes were large and the food tasted really good. I will defiantly go back to dine in."
"I really miss cheap tacos in L.A! I got 4 giant juicy tacos and a side of consome for $6! Fresh tortillas made in front of you I got 2 al pastor, and 2 birria. This place stays open until 1am!!Los Bros Tacos on Atlantic and Market in Long Beach, Ca los_bros_tacos"
"YUM ! Stopped by here on a random Saturday afternoon , called my order in the lady on the phone was super nice . She said ready in 15 minutes I arrive , it's a small plaza with other businesses such as a barber shop & 711 ,near Jordan highschool in Long Beach . Parking SUPER PACKED , but luckily I get a spot right in front. I enter everything looks super clean , they have fresh fish on display as well . I get back to work to try it out & YUM YUM . I got the lunch combo #3 with 3 piece , 6 shrimp & 2 sides. I picked the red snapper & fries/coleslaw. The fish & shrimp were fried to perfection , the seasoning on the fish was perfect ! Coleslaw tasted freshly made & their tartar sauce was great as well it was TOO tarty lol . Def coming back , did my happy food dance to this !"
"I had forgotten how delicious this place is!Food: 10, Ambiance: 10, Service:10Yesterday a friend and I split the Chorizo & Egg (special?) Burrito and each had a Manganada drink. I think their Chorizo is house made, definitely not the grocery store kind. Green sauce is bomb! Tonight for dinner I tried the Carnitas Burrito. I ate half but wanted to eat the entire thing! I think it was the best burrito I have ever eaten. I liked the red sauce as much as the green. My husband had their Ramen with Barria and he definitely enjoyed it. Great job. This is going to be my regular spot."
"Best Hamburgers around!! call ahead just to make sure you dont have to wait to long since its all made to order. definitely recommend this place !"
"Soooo good! Had the carne asada tacos and they were yummy! Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Mexican food."
"I tried the Cali-dilla with carne asada and it was very delicious and well priced. The guava juice was also delicious. The restaurant was quiet at lunch time and my meal was made when ordered and within a reasonable time. They had a few tables and chairs inside and it looked like an outdoor seating area in the back as well. I'll definitely be stopping here more often."
"Had their carne asada nachos, sooo good. The chips they used were amazing, I'm guessing they make the chips themselves. Best nachos I've had in a while"
"The food was wholesome and good thanks to the amazing service we got from the chef. It was a rainy day and he went above and beyond with service and kindness. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."
