"My new "joint" for lengua...Lengua tacos, lengua burritos, even lengua nachos. Oh... did I say LENGUA?If you've never tied it, do yourself a favor. Was always a fave of mine growing up, but was prepped differently than my wife's family has done it over the years. Used to be a "cut" that was tossed out the back of butcher shops for God only knows why. Simply stated, if prepared properly, the most tender, delectable cut you'll ever come across...But, all that said, Leo's gets it right and I just can't get enough of it. Super tender, cut into minute little chucks of orgasmic deliciousness!!!The condiments provided onsite are exceptional as well, including the green chili, which can pack a punch!If in the area, don't hesitate to stop in. Not cheap, especially for a "food truck" but worth every freaking penny!!!BTW... even though it states "cash only", they do accept credit/debit cards."

First place I've ever had swordfish and theirs is always great. The kabobs are amazing when they have them available. It's a little loud sitting outside, but at least they have a good sized patio! Hand made tortilla tacos are huge! 2 is prob more than enough. Lots of salsas. But all lacking heat or flavor. Toppings are not the greatest. Horchata was really good. And they have real Mexican coke bottles. Because this area is plagued with taco stands and taco trucks. I would probably opt to try other places before coming back to this spot. Honestly Tacos El Sapo in East LA is much better. Gotta try the other spots and stands around here though."

"I've had a positive experience every time I come here. Food is fresh and portion are a good size. Taco Tuesday offers a free fish taco with a purchase of any taco. Items ordered: fish tacos, agua de piña con chamoy and Tajín. Overall, I thought that fish tacos were great. They were cooked perfected and bartered just right. The salsa was good and offered just the right amount of spice. The pineapple water was super delicious. My 3 year old devoured the entire thing. Overall, fast service and plenty of space inside. The employees are generous and the inside is always looking clean. Good food and descent prices."

"I am a fan of tacos de tripa "Crispy", so when I'm the area, this is my go to spot. My tacos are always bomb! I'm a red salsa girl and their salsa never disappoints. Service is always friendly. Now, this taco truck is located at the corner of Artesia and Paramount, so just know that if eating here, it may feel like your eating while on the freeway(laughing emoji). Just think, Fast and Furious....... Yet, Well worth it. We always take our orders to go. They do have pop up tents to sit under and they seem to do the job. I honestly would not be able to handle the cars zooming by nor the annoying loud obnoxious whips, No Sir No MAAM!! Now, because I am finishing this review the morning after our last visit, I do have to let y'all know to check your to go orders. Because my BF does not eat onions & they've made the mistake once, I now request onion and cilantro on the side. Last night, he had cilantro on his tacos and I had nothing on or on the side (SUPER SAD face emoji). I made it work, however, I would just say to double check before leaving, no biggie, unless you get HANGRY......... I was on the cusp of hangry, so we all survived."

My BIL recommended this place and so we decided to come here for lunch on a Tuesday around 11:00a.This is located off of 1st Street, between Flower Street and Bristol Street. It sits by itself, not in a strip mall or anything, so it may be easy to miss. They also have locations in Orange, Long Beach, and Stanton.The inside was kind of empty still, perhaps being early in the week and before prime lunch time, with Spanish karaoke music playing. It's like a mini supermarket with lots of snacks, condiments, etc. that's available for purchase, too. We went up to the register and ordered the sopa de la casa (house ramen birria + consommé, $14.99), birria tour (quesabirria + red taco + bomb taco + consommé, $11.99), and dorado taco ($3.29). We also got horchata ($3.99) and tamarindo ($3.99) to drink. They had a sign for Taco Tuesday so we asked if it applies right now and the lady said "yes," but I guess we didn't get the right tacos because nothing was discounted...oh well.The birria ramen was so good...the noodles were pretty chewy though (my BIL said that they make their own?), but it kept its shape in the hot soup. If anything, it's the soup that made this so superb...I can drink it by itself...and the meat, I think they crisped it up (pan-fried?) for this dish, which was a nice touch. The ramen came with one taco, too. The tacos were good, too. For the crunchy tacos, they put a crunchy shell on the outside of another shell (see pic). It's not full on crunch like the tacos at Taco Bell or Del Taco (sorry to even compare with them), but still had a nice crunchy texture.What I really liked was that they give you a condiment server that has cilantro, onions, lime, salsa, and cucumbers so that you can customize your tacos (the tacos only had meat in them for that reason, I think). I absolutely cannot eat cilantro so this was a win for me. Onions and lime, that's all I needed. Their horchata and tamarindo were yummy, too! It's like a 20oz cup, I think, but I could've had another cup to wash the food down. Btw, don't wear white! Lol"

Love that they have a tv a table for a quick bite.I wish I can order everything on their menu. "Angel's is the go to taco stand, and I've been blessed to live by one for the past 3 years from the Eagle Rock location to Long Beach. I love trying new places, and I've tried all the nearby taco stands. No one else comes close! Everything is made fresh and by hand. The salsas, guac, pickled onions and grilled onions are always super flavorful and packs a punch. My wife and I usually go with the Al pastor potatoes and they are hefty! It always takes us two sittings to finish them. Go with what you like and try the potato if you haven't! It's a game changer."

I put all the salsas on my tacos, so I'm not sure which one kicked my butt, but one of them was hot! But that's just the way I like it! I think this is going to be my new spot! "Been to these guys a hand full of times since last month, great spot for some late night street tacos! They said they're normally there from 7pm to 2am Tuesday through Sunday. Both times we went was during the week.The tacos here are excellent, I normally stick to asada but they have all the normal meats including fiery el pastor, pollo etc. I've seen people ordering burritos also. The asada is juicy, salty, and pretty much everything you want from a street taco. They're two bucks a piece and cash only my friends, you know the drill.Our favorite part of this place is the awesome spread of extra you get for free at the end of the stand. All the radishes, cucumber, onions, limes you want! And they don't just have bags, they have little plastics cups for all the sauces, double points for that. The green sauce is bomb, and the guac sauce is also excellent, not too watery like other taco stands I've been too.Give them a shot if you're a fan of street tacos, you won't regret it!"

It's neat to watch the guy cut the Pastor off the Trompo and top it off with a pineapple piece that is expertly sliced!We've also had the Carne Asada & Carnitas, but for me, the Al Pastor is the best! They offer 10 different meats. You can get more than just tacos ... they have burritos, tortas, mulitas, quesadillas, nachos, and more!They have a condiments bar with all the fixings you need. We enjoy their Habanero Salsa. They also include beans, grilled jalapenos & onions, and pickled jalapeños for you to serve yourself. It's very nice that a taco truck will provide the extras beyond just the basic toppings.This truck is located at the corner of Avalon Blvd & Lomita Blvd. There are some parking spots in this tight lot. You can also try to grab street parking. This was some sort of place for either gas or tires previous to being the location for Leos Taco Truck. There is an old garage set up with tables & chairs. "This place was recommended to me a while ago. I was in the area and decided to stop in for a to go order. Street parking only. There are apartment buildings in the area so keep that in mind when searching for a spot. I was fortunate to get parking half a block away. Inside you have several seating options in several rooms, patio dining and counter seating as well. The service was excellent. While waiting I was offered something to drink and multiple staff members checked in with me to make sure I was being taken care of. I ordered chocolate chippancakes for my daughter, which she loved. I opted for the California Omelet which came with potatoes and toast. Serving sizes were large and the food tasted really good. I will defiantly go back to dine in."
