"Met up with my old friends here over the weekend. First time here, as I moved out of the area a long time ago. Lets start with the service. All the workers were really nice, and pretty funny. Made the evening much better. The ambiance here is casual, and really chill. Gives a small mom and pops shop kind of vibe. The food was great. We had nachos, steak salad, burgers, wings, and a bunch of other stuff. Everything was really good. Much better than expected. As for the drinks. The bartender who was pouring my whiskey had a heavy hand. Not complaining. I don't know if it was just one person or a few but each time I ordered a double, it was way more than a double. For all that we ordered and drank, the price was more than reasonable. Will be coming back here for sure. Great place to have a bite and drink."

"I've been coming to BT for years. The food and service is consistently on point. This visit I ordered the #6 combo Chicken Enchilada with a shredded beef taco. First order of business is the house margaritas. Our server immediately brought fresh chips and salsa. I love the chips and salsa. The salsa is perfectly fresh tasting with some kick. The food is always served piping hot, the way all food should be served. I love how crunchy and crispy the tacos are served and are served generously with meat, lettuce and cheese. The enchiladas are always the bomb. And love the rice and beans. Our server was always attentive asking if we needed more chips and salsa. If you're looking for great Mexican food, look no further. Burnt Tortilla is the place. Service attentive and friendly. Plenty of parking. Deserves a 5 star Yelp salute!"

"I usually seek places like this out when traveling for work, but with my son at a weekly Boy Scouts meeting down the street, I needed a spot to kill a couple of hours. Needed sports on TV, a few beers and some greasy bar food. This place checked all the boxes and then some. Not only did they have my favorite seltzer (Brewery X Huckleberry) but found they had a Juicy Lucy burger. First time I've seen that outside of Minnesota! Rudy the bartender was awesome to chat with and the "off-duty" Kylie who I sat next to at the bar was super friendly too. Looks like I've found my go-to on Monday nights when the son is at Boy Scouts. 5/5 would recommend!"

They have different specials every day, on top of the usual HH prices. For taco Tuesday, I tried a $3 fried fish taco. The piece of fish was TINY, and they put a bigger heap of tartar sauce than the actual fish, but once I wiped half of it away, it was a nice cheap snack that tasted just fine. Also snagged 2x $5 margaritas which hit the spot. Avoid the goopy jalapeño nachos though, not appetizing. Service was nice and steady. Their parking lot is small but there's free street parking to be had. There's also some pool tables for extra fun, and the bathroom was rather clean. Overall it's a solid option in Torrance for a budget-friendly happy hour and a ballgame."

"Serendipity is a classy, modern brunch restaurant that serves dinner and boasts an amazing Happy Hour selection. There's a myriad of seating inside and on the dog-friendly patio. It's conveniently located on PCH in Redondo Beach and has a parking structure next door. The breakfast menu has typical items like eggs, pancakes, waffles, crepes, chilaquiles, and huevos rancheros. They accept reservations, but weren't necessary as we were seated immediately upon arrival. Happy Hour is 2-6 PM daily with $5 wells, margaritas, and beers. Food ranges from Poke Nachos and Asian Chicken Salad to Black Bean Hummus and Tempura Zucchini. We had the "Make It" Combo, Chicken & Mushroom Crepes, Fried Chicken Sandwich & Salad, and Poke Nachos. All of it was delicious, hot, and fresh. The Serranos in the nachos were very spicy and made me sweat. The portions were generous and this was the best Happy Hour I've ever encountered. Kylie and team were very attentive and delivered excellent service!"

"Jimmy E's is in Signal Hill off Cherry nestled between Lakewood and LB. It's very close to the 405 off and on ramps. The staff is friendly and there was plenty of open seating at the bar and on the floor. They also have a front patio near the parking lot. Elizabeth was my waitress and was super sweet and attentive. I ordered the Swordfish Sandwich with fries and a Jimmy E's IPA, which is brewed in Anaheim. The fish and beer were both delicious. The only thing I don't like is they have 3% charge for card transactions, so I paid cash."

"This review is a bit overdue. I came here with my husband near the end of Sept on a Thursday afternoon to watch a football game. I wasn't sure what to expect given all the horrible reviews. We sat in the inner section by the stage where the big screen was. It wasn't too busy, and there was ample space. Our server was very sweet and polite and was prompt with our order and requests. There was music playing, but after a while of the game starting, they turned it off and allowed the patrons to listen to the game. Food was great, drinks were good. Really no complaints. My son got chicken strips, I ordered gobernador tacos, and I forgot what my husband ordered, but we all enjoyed our plates. I do advise that if you go during the warmer weather, wear mosquito repellent if you're one that is usually mosquito lunch/dinner. I got bit 5 times that night:-["

Initially, I thought the pizza was overpriced in comparison to many other popular pizza places around town. When I received my pizza, it was in a gigantic box, and it turned out that the pizza was exactly as big as the box (approximately 19") Based on the size and amount of toppings, it's not a bad value at all! The NY style pizza was crisp and cooked perfectly and was ready at the exact time toast had estimated I didn't try any of the beer, but interacted with a few staff members while I was there. Feels like you're at your grandads, has large booths and pretty spacious, and the staff is really friendly. There are a lot of TVs and plenty of screens to comfortably watch a game. The only thing that threw me off was the menu I was given for a place called "Eric's Cousine" not Eric's Cuisine. My only question is who is Eric's cousin? If he made my chicken quesadilla, it was great for bar food, I wouldn't say it was cuisine but it was really good. Go Blue!"
