Yummy! Our server was Eric & he was phenomenal! So attentive, sweet & had such a good sense of humor! Probably the best customer service I've received in a long time, it was very refreshing! "Great place for large gatherings, chill outings and family fun!We came here earlier today to celebrate my aunts birthday. There were 11 of us including one toddler and we were able to get a same day reservation. Our initial plans fell through but this restaurant and the activities they had worked out much better for all of us!We had an early dinner and did ax throwing. We were a little worried about how that would work with a toddler but the restaurant is so large and we had enough people who just wanted to stay at the table that things worked out. I was surprised to see so many kinds in this restaurant but it was nice and there's definitely enough space for the kids to run around in the activity areas. Unfortunately the food/drinks were OK at best. I ordered the jambalaya and the rice was overcooked...the whole plate was kind of a mushy mess. my the jungle drink was OK. My husband ordered an espresso martini and a watermelon mojito. Both those drinks were fine. I enjoyed the ribs but overall the food had mixed reviews. I'd probably stick to BBQ. The service was great! Our waiter was friendly and fun. Our food came out very quickly! Will definitely be back!"

"It's been sooooo long since I've been back because I moved, but I was in town today and had to make a detour. As always the wings were perfect and this time I got a side of their green sauce to dip my lemon pepper flats in and it was extremely delicious!! Cranberry coleslaw is as great as I remember too. Staff is very friendly and my order was piping hot when I showed up. Thanks again!!"

"Not one thing is bad here, people, vibes or food. I can't even show you my plate because unfortunately it didn't make it home. I got the red snapper dinner that comes with 3 sides, in which I chose collard greens, yams, and mac n cheese (my favorite in that order) and 2 cornbread muffins. Fish is crispy and made fresh to order, collards greens are sweet n tangy, yams are sweet with cinnamon and nutmeg on point, and mac n cheese is cheesy. And thank you lord the cornbread isn't dry! Behind the counter were 2 of the sweetest ladies! Tip them when you go because that food is made with love! Scheming now to figure out when I'm coming back!"

"OMGosh, the meat here is smoked to perfection. I'm not huge in red meat, so I go for the chicken and seafood. I had the chicken spread on my last visit. I believe I purchased the 22 ounce size. When I tell you my socks were blown off...well not literally, but MAN, is it good! I could eat the whole tub at on setting, because my pallet wanted to continue to experience that amazing taste! I will try the salmon spread next. As far as this business is concerned, their customer service is friendly, the establishment is clean and their prices are far for the hard work they put in their product."

"Went in with my family on 7/26/24 and let me tell you the food is so Damn good! So good you'll wanna smack your Mama, your Daddy and your baldheaded, Granny. Order chicken ,Mac n cheese, French fries , Ox tail, fried catfish n shrimp, rice chili beans, green beans and corn bread. I'll tell you what Bobby Hill if you don't bring your ass here at least once in your life , you'll die with never Experiencing the true joy of life . "So I randomly found this bbq place on yelp after calling the place I usually go to & freakin out because they were sold for the day. Grrr!! So anyway, very impressed by Wrigley's! The bbq sauce. Bomb! I got the rip tips which could have been a lil more tender but they were good nonetheless. The fried cabbage. Bomb!! The bbq baked beans were good too. I hope this is not a hit or miss place because I most definitely will be back to try their mac n cheese, yams & greens! It's easy to find..sits on a corner and there's street parking. I didn't even notice if you could sit down to eat but its pretty small. The young lady that answered the phone and was at the cashier was very nice but would benefit from some additional training, specifically in customer service & phone etiquette."

"over the weekend I had the pleasure of visiting gotta have it grill and when I say not only was the food amazing the customer service was great. I am a chef myself and this food was perfectly prepared not overly seasoned or salty but seasoned to perfection with flavors through and through. I had the fried salmon and honey hot wings mac&cheese and greens we also had the fried shrimp and lemon hot wings. I can't wait to come back and try the spaghetti and catfish We drove all the way from Palm Springs to try this place out and it gets 10/10 from this Chef fyi: dine in and relax or call ahead ...because this is not fast food great food takes time thanks"

"This restaurant needs to close it's door's. I have never had a restaurant identify as SOUL FOOD, but serve you horrible food out of a can. If you've never been, I suggest you don't waste your time. I ordered a catfish meal and paid for a few extra sides and it was a complete waste of my money. The potato salad tasted horrible, like a 3 year old made it. The yams were undercooked and looked like it was right out of a can. My fish was not fried crispy like a requested, instead it was falling apart and soft. I was beyond annoyed. I called back and explained that my food was not cooked properly and the preparation was horrible, and I was told I should have checked my order and looked at the fish before I left. Then said thank you and slammed the phone down. Never offered to refund me my money or even a portion of it. Or at the very least could have offered to discount my next visit (although I'm never going back there again) as a kind gesture. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. You'll be highly disappointed."

"Good stuff.. Fried chicken, fries, shrimp and fish was freshly cooked. We ordered the seafood combo. 15 shrimp+2 fish and it comes with rolls and fries. Or you can change it to rice. The chicken and fish had a little kick to it. Spicy as my daughter said. It was good and tasty don't get me wrong. But the fish seemed a little undercooked. The shrimp was my favorite. Fries is freshly cooked and good. The rolls well they gave us a entire bag and since I had fries I could not eat the bread. But I loved the shrimp. I want to try the chicken strip next time. So YES I am coming back. But to this one only cause my cousin said the other Louisiana restaurant are not good and don't taste the same. This one is the best one. It took probably 15/20 mins for our food to be done but I knew it would be fresh cause we did order the 20 piece. The service was cool. Place has four tables. Thick protection glass but what for there is a big hole where you order and pick up. Lol but other than that. This place does NOT take credit or debit cards. But it ONLY take CASH or EBT!Parking is in their lot since they share it with other stores. So private lot in the plaza.."

It was just ok. If this was my first time here, I prob wouldn't come back based on this dish but luckily I've been here a handful of times.Quality is good for pricing and it's local.Their apple fritters served with whipped butter is a wonderful "bread" before your meal is serviced.I'd highly recommend coming here (just not the salmon tacos) and you'll enjoy the place!"

Classic burger side green beans my entire burger was juicy,well done, fully loaded with onions, tomatoes. My green beans were flavorful with bacon bits. @ $17.50 Southern chicken sandwich with bacon, avocado @ $18.95 the chicken was well coated and crispy the chicken was so juicy and well flavored. Jambalaya bowl dry no juice @ $12.99 After all our food the hubby ordered banana pudding & peach cobbler @ $8.50 We all dived in and enjoyed shared bites if each desert even had plenty to take home. The atmosphere was so relaxing, I seen regular customers come in being greeted by thier names and would you like that same Jambalaya today sir was asked. "The Attic - A Culinary Gem in Long Beach We needed a meeting spot between Orange County and Los Angeles, and The Attic in Long Beach seemed like the perfect choice. The drive from LA was lovely--crossing the bridge, passing the cruise ships, and seeing the hardworking longshoremen at the docks--a surprisingly emotional and beautiful experience. Arrival & Seating Our reservation was for 11 AM, and upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hostess. We requested a table for three and were seated between the patio and the bar, with my seat positioned in the aisle. While the restaurant was nearly empty, I immediately wondered why we were placed in such a high-traffic area. In hindsight, I should have requested a different table. Throughout our meal, the barback, waiters, hostess, and even customers brushed or bumped against my chair, making it uncomfortable. Pro tip: If you visit, avoid sitting in the walkway--you'll feel it the next day! Ambiance & Space The restaurant itself is spacious, offering a variety of seating options, including indoor dining, front and back patios, and a full bar area. It comfortably accommodates at least 75 guests, making it a great spot for groups and gatherings. Food - Absolutely Outstanding! Now, let's talk about the real star of the show--the food! I ordered the Vego Mi Ego Sando, and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations. - The housemade bread was perfectly toasted. - The veggie patty (a flavorful blend of beans and other ingredients) was thick and satisfying. - Topped with roasted eggplant, avocado, whole-grain mustard, onions, and perfectly blanched kale. - A fresh squeeze of lemon tied everything together beautifully. This was, without a doubt, the best vegan burger I have ever had! Drinks I ordered a pineapple juice, and it was incredibly refreshing. The best part? The server didn't add ice, allowing me to enjoy the pure, fresh pineapple flavor without it getting watered down. Whoever juiced it knew exactly what they were doing--it was perfection! Service & Staff - Warm, Attentive, and Friendly Regardless of the seating hiccup, the staff was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely warm. They weren't aware that they were brushing against my chair, and neither were the customers passing by. Apart from this minor issue, the service was outstanding. The entire team was kind and gracious, making us feel welcome from the start. Our waiter recommended the burger, and I salute him--he knew exactly what he was doing! The staff checked in frequently, ensuring we were enjoying our meals and making us feel like valued guests. Even as the restaurant got busier, the service remained top-notch--quick, friendly, and accommodating. The team handled everything with ease and professionalism, making for an all-around great dining experience. Final Thought Despite the seating issue, I would absolutely return for the food alone.
