"I came in on Saturday with a couple of friends & we had an amazing time! The food was sooo good, I got the peeled shrimp with potatoes, sausage & corn & we split an appetizer of mozzarella sticks! Yummy! Our server was Eric & he was phenomenal! So attentive, sweet & had such a good sense of humor! Probably the best customer service I've received in a long time, it was very refreshing! We definitely will be back!!! :)"
"Great place for large gatherings, chill outings and family fun!We came here earlier today to celebrate my aunts birthday. There were 11 of us including one toddler and we were able to get a same day reservation. Our initial plans fell through but this restaurant and the activities they had worked out much better for all of us!We had an early dinner and did ax throwing. We were a little worried about how that would work with a toddler but the restaurant is so large and we had enough people who just wanted to stay at the table that things worked out. I was surprised to see so many kinds in this restaurant but it was nice and there's definitely enough space for the kids to run around in the activity areas. Unfortunately the food/drinks were OK at best. I ordered the jambalaya and the rice was overcooked...the whole plate was kind of a mushy mess. my the jungle drink was OK. My husband ordered an espresso martini and a watermelon mojito. Both those drinks were fine. I enjoyed the ribs but overall the food had mixed reviews. I'd probably stick to BBQ. The service was great! Our waiter was friendly and fun. Our food came out very quickly! Will definitely be back!"

"Reallllly good BBQ food. The beans caught me off guard being my favorite side dish. The sweet potatoes were my second favorite dish and the toast was a great addition. The spicy bbq sauce was great."
"It's been sooooo long since I've been back because I moved, but I was in town today and had to make a detour. As always the wings were perfect and this time I got a side of their green sauce to dip my lemon pepper flats in and it was extremely delicious!! Cranberry coleslaw is as great as I remember too. Staff is very friendly and my order was piping hot when I showed up. Thanks again!!"
"Not one thing is bad here, people, vibes or food. I can't even show you my plate because unfortunately it didn't make it home. I got the red snapper dinner that comes with 3 sides, in which I chose collard greens, yams, and mac n cheese (my favorite in that order) and 2 cornbread muffins. Fish is crispy and made fresh to order, collards greens are sweet n tangy, yams are sweet with cinnamon and nutmeg on point, and mac n cheese is cheesy. And thank you lord the cornbread isn't dry! Behind the counter were 2 of the sweetest ladies! Tip them when you go because that food is made with love! Scheming now to figure out when I'm coming back!"
"First time here. Pleasantly surprised that it's a nice place to dine in. Small dining room, but nicely feels like a Texas bbq. I enjoyed the coconut Creme pie and so did my mom. The chicken was boasted not fried....it was fine...and a nice change. The fries were meh, don't get them...just get chicken and pie."
"OMGosh, the meat here is smoked to perfection. I'm not huge in red meat, so I go for the chicken and seafood. I had the chicken spread on my last visit. I believe I purchased the 22 ounce size. When I tell you my socks were blown off...well not literally, but MAN, is it good! I could eat the whole tub at on setting, because my pallet wanted to continue to experience that amazing taste! I will try the salmon spread next. As far as this business is concerned, their customer service is friendly, the establishment is clean and their prices are far for the hard work they put in their product."
"Went in with my family on 7/26/24 and let me tell you the food is so Damn good! So good you'll wanna smack your Mama, your Daddy and your baldheaded, Granny. Order chicken ,Mac n cheese, French fries , Ox tail, fried catfish n shrimp, rice chili beans, green beans and corn bread. I'll tell you what Bobby Hill if you don't bring your ass here at least once in your life , you'll die with never Experiencing the true joy of life . We went up to the counter and was greeted by a friendly cashier sweetheart truly. Above and beyond service. You'll have to be a lil patient because food is freshly made and worth the wait. Can't wait till I return... I dream about the food since I ate it . Only thing is no AC other then that place was very clean. P.s if your a cheap ass and don't want to pay for Quality food keep your ass at home Teeee Heee ;)"

I'm OBSESSED! I ordered Stinkin Crawfish last week via Uber Eats and had a great experience! Our entire order consisted of 1lb of white shrimp (unpeeled) and 2 lbs of snow crab clusters. We ordered both bags including the 'make it awesome' upgrade plus an additional side of the awesomeness. I ordered my bag of crab clusters level spicy with the Stinkin Special sauce. The Stinkin Special sauce was impeccable! It had the perfect lemony, buttery, and garlic flavor! Paired along with level spicy and boom, match made in heaven. If I could eat this multiple times a week I would! Definitely recommend this spot!

Ordered the brisket platter and while the meat had a good flavor, it was very fatty- not much of the meat was edible! Baked beans were good, Mac n cheese was just okay! I honestly was a bit disappointed because I felt like I paid $22 and waited 30 minutes on a lunch plate only to eat a few bites from the sides!

This is honestly my favorite place to get wings at. I usually always doordash it for the most part; the lemon pepper is so delicious, I miss it when they had the wet sauce option cause I would get it on the side. The garlic parmesan is also really good but I prefer lemon pepper. The fries are so good as well, my fav is obviously the lemon pepper and it's a huge portion. Another mention has to be the ube brownie yummmm.I wanna try their other food besides the wings and I'll do that next time (: the patty melt looks really good haha.I remember the place being fairly small, it's more ideal for a grab and go rather than a sit down type. The worker was really nice when I went, they always gave me a couple extra pieces of wings.

We ordered their lunch special included with 6 chicken wings. It was around $10 and it's a good deal. The service was quick. We got our food in 15 minutes. It was hot and fresh. We tried it and loved it. We liked that there was not too much coating and the saltiness was perfect. We loved it and we went there for the second time. Absolutely delicious. It was not too busy when we came. The ambiance was very calm and not too noisy.

The smothered pork chop was probably my favorite in terms of flavor, but everything else was delicious as well. The pork chop and fried chicken are savory, the collard greens are salty, macaroni cheesey, the rice with gravy has a mild spicy heat and the cornbread is sweet - so the combination of it all works well together because of the variety of flavors. The staff working there were also friendly and nice. The main reason the review got 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a little pricey for the portion of food, the parking lot is also small and there wasn't air conditioning. They did, however, have a large fan blowing and provided us a pitcher of ice water... which helped out alot. There is plenty of seating in the restaurant, but I would imagine people probably take food to-go partially due to those reasons. If you are extra hungry, I might recommend maybe going for the hungry man portions. Our mini dinners, however, were sufficiently filling without any leftovers.

"So I randomly found this bbq place on yelp after calling the place I usually go to & freakin out because they were sold for the day. Grrr!! So anyway, very impressed by Wrigley's! The bbq sauce. Bomb! I got the rip tips which could have been a lil more tender but they were good nonetheless. The fried cabbage. Bomb!! The bbq baked beans were good too. I hope this is not a hit or miss place because I most definitely will be back to try their mac n cheese, yams & greens! It's easy to find..sits on a corner and there's street parking. I didn't even notice if you could sit down to eat but its pretty small. The young lady that answered the phone and was at the cashier was very nice but would benefit from some additional training, specifically in customer service & phone etiquette."
"Dear Delicious Southern Cuisine restaurant, I have personally witnessed so many people who love what you do! From bringing out the big platters of budget-priced takeout and offering reduced prices for catering services during the pandemic, to your Juneteenth service for the whole community, it will be my mission to bring my friends and family here till you own the five star average you so sincerely deserve! (ALWAYS PUT THE MISSION FIRST!)Delicious Southern Cuisine is a family-owned restaurant with great service featuring delicious Southern, Cajun, Creole and Soul Food at affordable prices. If you rated this place less than three stars, I urge ya to give her another try! This restaurant offers catering, delivery, takeout and dine-in options.Located steps away from the metro with free parking in the rear. Plentiful ready-made meals, snacks and drinks available for easy purchase make this place a great option for takeout on-the-job or on the way home.Everything I've tried here is good. The barbequed ribs are melt-off the bone tender. The smothered chicken is a crowd favorite and very tasty. The seafood gumbo, my favorite dish here, is made to order and worth the wait! The small sized portion of seafood gumbo is big. It's a decadent stew with okra, onions, carrots, and a savory caramel rouix and a really generous portion of fresh crab, shrimp, fish and other shellfish. My family and I compared it to famous restaurants in Louisiana as we enjoyed eating it.I found this restaurant thanks to posted pictures online from grateful customers who ordered big platters of takeout food during the pandemic. Delicious Southern Cuisine restaurant offers catering services for large events and big trays of Soul Food for budget prices.Gumbo has a long beautiful history. It is America's national soup! The name Gumbo originates from the west African word "ngumbo" which means "Okra". Okra was brought to the United States by enslaved west Africans who carried the seeds in their pockets.Native Americans introduced sassafras and file to Gumbo. Spanish and French chefs added rouix, "the holy trinity" and peppers in their versions. Louisiana-style gumbo is known for combining the contributions of many cultures.Southern Louisiana style gumbo originally featured a rich combination of seafood and shellfish with plenty of okra, -similar to the gumbo here.Check out the featured prayer, awards, plaques and beautiful family photos on the wall behind the register as you pay for your takeout. Read the signs about supporting black-owned businesses as you enjoy your dine-in meal on the patio.Yesterday, on JUNETEENTH, 2023, I picked up takeout food for my beloved family member's birthday dinner. It was a great day to see this restaurant serving customers and the community.During the parade and JUNETEENTH celebration I watched hands giving fist bumps, reaching out to pull up people from the sidewalk and pushing elderly people in wheelchairs to this restaurant.Live music and DJs performed as thousands of people danced through the street.A weathered American flag waves in the wind perfectly centered across from this restaurant for everyone to view on the cute patio tables in front.I overheard lots of compliments about the food while I waited in line to order from many happy restaurant guests.A famous gumbo chef and great Lady, Leah Chase said every problem can be solved by sharing a bowl of gumbo. Leah's seafood gumbo recipe looks a lot like this restaurant's version.African American contributions are the star of America's national soup. I tried to recreate this dish at home with love in tribute and it came out pretty good!My favorite bowl of gumbo in Los Angeles and the world. I feel very fortunate to have found this restaurant and to share it with my friends, family and honored to recommend it to you."
"over the weekend I had the pleasure of visiting gotta have it grill and when I say not only was the food amazing the customer service was great. I am a chef myself and this food was perfectly prepared not overly seasoned or salty but seasoned to perfection with flavors through and through. I had the fried salmon and honey hot wings mac&cheese and greens we also had the fried shrimp and lemon hot wings. I can't wait to come back and try the spaghetti and catfish We drove all the way from Palm Springs to try this place out and it gets 10/10 from this Chef fyi: dine in and relax or call ahead ...because this is not fast food great food takes time thanks"
"This restaurant needs to close it's door's. I have never had a restaurant identify as SOUL FOOD, but serve you horrible food out of a can. If you've never been, I suggest you don't waste your time. I ordered a catfish meal and paid for a few extra sides and it was a complete waste of my money. The potato salad tasted horrible, like a 3 year old made it. The yams were undercooked and looked like it was right out of a can. My fish was not fried crispy like a requested, instead it was falling apart and soft. I was beyond annoyed. I called back and explained that my food was not cooked properly and the preparation was horrible, and I was told I should have checked my order and looked at the fish before I left. Then said thank you and slammed the phone down. Never offered to refund me my money or even a portion of it. Or at the very least could have offered to discount my next visit (although I'm never going back there again) as a kind gesture. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. You'll be highly disappointed."
"DELICIOUS TAMALES! These tamales are wrapped in banana leaves instead of corn husk. They are a little smaller than mexican tamales but are so good. The meat + bean + cheese pupusa is just heaven in your mouth. Made fresh to order. Will order again if I am in the area."
"Thank you for the amazing service and amazing food! Nice location overlooking the water, yummy omelette plate and good coffee!"
"Good stuff.. Fried chicken, fries, shrimp and fish was freshly cooked. We ordered the seafood combo. 15 shrimp+2 fish and it comes with rolls and fries. Or you can change it to rice. The chicken and fish had a little kick to it. Spicy as my daughter said. It was good and tasty don't get me wrong. But the fish seemed a little undercooked. The shrimp was my favorite. Fries is freshly cooked and good. The rolls well they gave us a entire bag and since I had fries I could not eat the bread. But I loved the shrimp. I want to try the chicken strip next time. So YES I am coming back. But to this one only cause my cousin said the other Louisiana restaurant are not good and don't taste the same. This one is the best one. It took probably 15/20 mins for our food to be done but I knew it would be fresh cause we did order the 20 piece. The service was cool. Place has four tables. Thick protection glass but what for there is a big hole where you order and pick up. Lol but other than that. This place does NOT take credit or debit cards. But it ONLY take CASH or EBT!Parking is in their lot since they share it with other stores. So private lot in the plaza.."
"This restaurant is super quaint and boasts a really cute outdoor space. Although their indoor space looks like you're having brunch at grandmas house, both are cozy.Ordered their salmon tacos. It was just ok. If this was my first time here, I prob wouldn't come back based on this dish but luckily I've been here a handful of times.Quality is good for pricing and it's local.Their apple fritters served with whipped butter is a wonderful "bread" before your meal is serviced.I'd highly recommend coming here (just not the salmon tacos) and you'll enjoy the place!"
"8/21/202411:35 am Samia serverIt would be wonderful to discuss how my husband made an excellent choice in selecting this location. I must commend him for his efforts in finding a new and suitable place.Once we walked in immediately we were greeted by Samia. She kindly showed us to our seats. Drinks were immediately taken after sitting. Drinks- a sprite , diet coke @ lemonade @ $4.25Let's talk appetizer fried green tomatoes with cornmeal topped with bacon took me back to my childhood.. Samia mentioned it's one of there best items also. Fried green tomatoes with bacon and Chipotle sauce @ $13.95Our meal let's say the hubby ordered with his eyes. Our meal consisted of. Classic burger side green beans my entire burger was juicy, well done, fully loaded with onions, tomatoes. My green beans were flavorful with bacon bits. @ $17.50 Southern chicken sandwich with bacon, avocado @ $18.95 the chicken was well coated and crispy the chicken was so juicy and well flavored. Jambalaya bowl dry no juice @ $12.99 After all our food the hubby ordered banana pudding & peach cobbler @ $8.50 We all dived in and enjoyed shared bites if each desert even had plenty to take home. "The Attic - A Culinary Gem in Long Beach We needed a meeting spot between Orange County and Los Angeles, and The Attic in Long Beach seemed like the perfect choice. The drive from LA was lovely--crossing the bridge, passing the cruise ships, and seeing the hardworking longshoremen at the docks--a surprisingly emotional and beautiful experience. Arrival & Seating Our reservation was for 11 AM, and upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hostess. We requested a table for three and were seated between the patio and the bar, with my seat positioned in the aisle. While the restaurant was nearly empty, I immediately wondered why we were placed in such a high-traffic area. In hindsight, I should have requested a different table. Throughout our meal, the barback, waiters, hostess, and even customers brushed or bumped against my chair, making it uncomfortable. Pro tip: If you visit, avoid sitting in the walkway--you'll feel it the next day! Ambiance & Space The restaurant itself is spacious, offering a variety of seating options, including indoor dining, front and back patios, and a full bar area. It comfortably accommodates at least 75 guests, making it a great spot for groups and gatherings. Food - Absolutely Outstanding! Now, let's talk about the real star of the show--the food! I ordered the Vego Mi Ego Sando, and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations. - The housemade bread was perfectly toasted. - The veggie patty (a flavorful blend of beans and other ingredients) was thick and satisfying. - Topped with roasted eggplant, avocado, whole-grain mustard, onions, and perfectly blanched kale. - A fresh squeeze of lemon tied everything together beautifully. This was, without a doubt, the best vegan burger I have ever had! Drinks I ordered a pineapple juice, and it was incredibly refreshing. The best part? The server didn't add ice, allowing me to enjoy the pure, fresh pineapple flavor without it getting watered down. Whoever juiced it knew exactly what they were doing--it was perfection! Service & Staff - Warm, Attentive, and Friendly Regardless of the seating hiccup, the staff was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely warm. They weren't aware that they were brushing against my chair, and neither were the customers passing by. Apart from this minor issue, the service was outstanding. The entire team was kind and gracious, making us feel welcome from the start. Our waiter recommended the burger, and I salute him--he knew exactly what he was doing! The staff checked in frequently, ensuring we were enjoying our meals and making us feel like valued guests. Even as the restaurant got busier, the service remained top-notch--quick, friendly, and accommodating. The team handled everything with ease and professionalism, making for an all-around great dining experience. Final Thought Despite the seating issue, I would absolutely return for the food alone. Next time, I'll make sure to request a more comfortable table. Pro Tip: Ask for a good seat, trust the staff's recommendations, and get ready for a fantastic meal! Note: My photos do not do this meal justice--you'll just have to try it for yourself!"
"Delicious !!!! Everything is good...love the old fashions tooWe had gumbo and the meatloaf"
