Mary Ann C. "Walked in about 45 min before closing time and there were 2 young ladies there. They were nice and hard at work as the couple before us ordered quite a few different bowls. Despite this and being close to closing time, they were very patient with us as it was our first time in and still accommodated some side items like gyoza and spam musubis. Half the chairs on one side were up but the other side of the room still had bench seating and tables available. The poke bowls themselves were good. No issues and plenty of mix in's and toppings. The sizes are based on the amount of protein scoops. The musubis were not the prettiest or the freshest but they were still on point. Gyoza from a bag but crispy to perfection. Deep fried of course. The bag of chips were a tad stale but it actually worked since I was scooping my poke up with the chips. All in all if you're super picky, this may not be the spot for you. However I enjoyed my meal and i will definitely be returning."

Plenty of good food choices await. Burritos, grains and greens. Oh, they've got plant-based options too. I left out the chicken. My favorite chicken based bowl is the Cilantro Chopped Chicken Salad which comes with grilled chicken, cilantro lime jalapeno vinaigrette, chopped kale, napa cabbage, red onions, cucumbers, carrots, cilantro, crunchy vermicelli noodles, and sesame seeds. The place is clean and relaxed. The service is friendly and excellent. Eat in or order to go. Best to find parking on the side streets or behind the storefronts. Better yet, walk a few blocks from the beach."

Nikki O. "Came here the other day for a late breakfast/lunch. Saw a few reels on Instagram and immediately knew I wanted to try this place out. The restaurant was a bit busy but luckily there was only two of us so we were able to be seated right away. If we would have come in a few minutes later, we would have had to wait for an opening since it is a small restaurant. Our waitress was great and gave us some recommendations. I ended up ordering the TNT plate and my boyfriend got the Aloha plate. my plate was massive and came with chicken katsu, teriyaki beef, teriyaki chicken, mac salad, and a bowl of white rice. I loved the chicken katsu along with the sauce. It was a bit sweeter than other sauces I have had elsewhere but it was really good. The teriyaki beef was also good and had a tangy taste to it. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the teriyaki chicken though. The SPAM was good on the Aloha plate but then again SPAM is LIFE!Overall, great place and great food. I highly recommend getting there earlier on weekends because it does get busy and not much seating. I also recommend ordering the TNT plate because you get a variety of the foods they serve and if you can't eat all of it, you will have a whole other plate to enjoy later on. Servings are massive so you will get full but it is yummy."

It's a little pricey, however they really do give a lot. The protein scoops (esp spicy tuna) are worth the money. I can't forget to mention the quality...everything was fresh!!!They have unique sauce options. Personally, i'm basic with little to no sauce, but if you like spicy, this place has a variety of options. I am always a fan of "build your own" and seeing all ingredients in front of you. It's a clean a cute spot in a great location with plenty of parking!"

Angel W. "Lunchtime favorite!! It's been a while since I've been here and it is still as fresh and flavorful as always.Poke is their specialty and they have 20+ premarinated flavors to choose from just like in Hawaii. Salmon and Tuna have the most flavor options and all of them are good depending on your preference. My favorite poke, hands down, is Salmon Sweet and Spicy (not too spicy with great balance). That's the only one I get now. Salmon Fresh Mango is good, Salmon Spicy Mayo is good, Tuna Awapuhi is delicious, the Shredded Crabmeat is good, and Tuna Creamy Japanese is good. The only thing keeping me from coming more often is the price for the quantity. It's a small bowl that cost more than other places that pack a box to the brim. Spam Musubi - this is pre-made and a quick easy meal if you're on the go. It's okay. They also have many options of Hawaiian food, but I've only been here for the poke. They also have Hawaiian Sun canned sodas and Coke fountain drinks. It's a small place with 5-6 tables inside and 2-3 outside. Service is quick and friendly. You order at the counter and grab a table here. Parking is very convenient in the large shared lot. Recommended!"

The menu consists of Korean and Fusion type dishes. Some Japanese and some Asian. I know there are a lot of places like this in Hawaii, socurious to know if the owners are fromHawaii. I noticed the prices are very reasonable even on the delivery apps. Ordered the Beef Kimbap, Shrimp Tempura roll, and a spamMusubi. Any other place this would be $30+, with tip came out to be about $23. Not bad. Rolls were good and Spam musubi was decent but missing something and fell apart. Everything i ate here tasted fresh and homemade like someone's Mom made it. Would def order again to try the other dishes."

The 3 scoop bowl seems bigger to me than other places. I usually get half white rice/half salad for the base. The scoops of fish seemed pretty good. I like that the Krab and seaweed salad are included in the price. Only avocado is extra. Also they have eel sauce which I like to have drizzled on the top at the end."

I fell in love with the other Yelpers' pictures of the ribs and had to give it a shot! So I ordered the Momona combo plate that comes with 2 sizable delicious beef ribs, some pieces of kalbi ribs, bbq chicken, rice and macaroni salad. I loved everything! The tender juicy beef ribs would just melt in your mouth and their bbq chicken was oh so amazing. There was something special about how they prepared the rice that makes it stands out from other Hawaiian food joints. The macaroni salad was delicious. And you should look for it!They have regular and large sizes. Regular is 3 scoops of fish and large is 5. You can also choose a base that is white rice, brown rice, salad, or half/half. I ordered a regular with half salad half brown rice. They include about of free sides and extras. I got 3 scoops of tuna, spicy tuna, salmon. The scoop itself is a small size but the extras make up for it to have a hefty bowl when done. My free sides included one scoop of: imitation crab, avocado, cucumber, cilantro, green onions, tempura crumbs (this was an excellent add and one rarely found in poki places), seaweed, fried onions. They had a good selection of sauces and I got spicy sauce, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. The bowl was overflowing and delicious. Service was quick and friendly. They have a few tables inside if you want to eat there. Lots of people taking to-go orders. Highly recommend and will return with friends. Small business, excellently run."

The topping options are great! They have a Club card so you can get a free bowl after 9 bowls. This is one of those times when unfortunately the food did not live up to the reviews. The galbi was literally burnt and shriveled (see pics). There was barely any meat and what was on there was so overcooked. It tasted like beef jerky. I can't believe they would serve it like this. Giving them two stars because the loco moci my friend ordered was at least edible even though we both agreed that meat was also overcooked.. Disappointed, and if I hadn't been so jetlagged, I would have complained and demanded my money back, but at that point, I just wanted to be done and leave as I was exhausted. Maybe some of the items are better on the menu, but I would stay away from the galbi."

We ordered both the grilled beef ribs and the spicy garlic beef ribs. Both were very good but the spicy garlic beef is so full of flavor, I was happy that it came with zoodles and white rice with fried garlic on top to spread the flavor around. It really was love at first bite. It also comes with a mac salad and it was very good. They have a bar of different poke to choose from, much like delis in Hawaii serve them. We got the spicy soy tuna. Marinated long enough to pack a punch of flavor! Another friend in my party got the moco loco with a white gravy and they said it was very good. The moco loco comes with two eggs and Portuguese and it can easily be shared between two people.Service is excellent. The woman behind the counter is super friendly and I felt we were treated like family. It just adds soul to the place and food. Ambiance is super casual, often quiet as there is no TV playing (although I see evidence of karaoke) and no music playing. It has been a favorite of mine for quite some time now, especially after Poke Cat closed :( That was actually how I happened upon this place and it was obsession at first bite.I've tried their poke bowls and some of their hand rolls: the unagi, spam and philly rolls in particular. The unagi and spam rolls are delicious! I have yet to try one of their sushi burritos, but I'm more of a show-off-the-chopstick-skills kinda gal. Onto the bowls: I normally get the 50/50 base with either rice and greens or rice and soba noodles. For the proteins I like two scoops of tuna and one of shrimp, but sometimes I'll sub one of the tuna for albacore or salmon. I love almost all the toppings available and ALWAYS get an extra scoop of the crab salad because it's so good. I love all the fresh ingredients and basically get them all along with the furikake and fried onions from the crunchy list. I finish off with their house sauce and a drizzle of the yuzu for a bright citrusy finish.I've never had an issue with the quality of their fish, and have never gotten sick from it. And usually I get my order through Uber Eats. No complaints here! I type this as my stomach rumbles, not-so-patiently awaiting for my order to arrive. Ok, time to eat! Pictures coming soon!"
