"The pizza was amazing. The crust was made to perfection. So yummy! The cook/owner has excellent customer service."

"I've been happily eating here for a million years. My brothers ate here, my son ate here. I've never had a bad meal here and I always get great service. Things I love: 1: lunch special2: side of meatballs3: antipasto salad- large- the red vinegar dressing is so good I could drink it. 4: sandwiches- all great! 5. i love love love the mushroom pastaThank you Massimo's for filling my memories with so many great moments! PS great place to catch a sporting event on tv"
"Wow! I had quite the dinner experience at Bodsa Nova Brazilian Cuisine. I've been wanting to try this spot for quite sometime and finally got to try it for a dinner out recently. The menu here is extensive and it was a bit difficult to choose but we ended up getting two of the restaurant's most popular dishes; the Stroganoff ($24.95) and the Tenderloin Medallions ($32.95). For the Stroganoff one can choose chicken or beef. We chose beef. This dish comes with two sides and we chose to get French fries and plantains. The Tenderloin Medallions comes two large Tenderloin Medallions wrapped in bacon and sides of risotto and asparagus. The flavor profiles of both dishes were on point! These dishes were so creamy and saucy. I loved the Madeira Sauce and Mushroom Sauce on the Tenderloin Medallions. I also really liked the Pink Sauce on the Stroganoff. For both dishes; they are very generous with the sauce and it adds so much richness and flavor to each of the dishes. The tenderloin that was cooked medium was very soft and tender. Both entrees were quite enjoyable. For a drink; I chose to get their Passion Fruit juice. This was quite refreshing and had the the right tangy, sweet and sour taste to it.I definitely want to come back and try more dishes. This first visit here was amazing and I am excited to try more of their dishes in the future."
"The food is outstandingly delicious, the employees are friendly and work hard to get the food out fast. They are the only true 5 star place in the area and it's definitely not because of the hole-in-the-wall location. They prove that it's not the fancy ambiance and girls that tell you where to sit, BUT ITS THE DELICIOUS, AFFORDABLE FOOD that wins customers over."
"It was my first time dining here. I was delighted by all. The ambiance was very warm and welcoming. The service also was top notch. I love food from Sicily. From appetizers to entrees, everything was delicious. I look forward to returning and I would highly recommend everyone to go."
"This is the second year we have had our Christmas party in their big room. Always tons of food that is really good .... for a buffet. The staff is super nice and helpful!"
"Loosies definitely brought back some nostalgic of the NYC pizza vibes once you walk in. The Christmas colored lights, the wall decor and all the wonderful smell of fresh pizza. Everyone that walked in seemed like they knew the hosts/servers. Service was quick and there was a wide variety of beverages to choose from, so we opted for the lemon lime seltzer. Would def recommend for anyone trying to visit NYC, grab a quick slice of pizza but only needing to visiting Orange County!"
"It's about time. After driving by this Newport Beach gem dozens (if not hundreds) of times I finally had the opportunity to stop by for lunch. Tidepoole is well known to both the locals and tourists of Newport Beach. Their storefront is front and center on PCH, so it's truly hard to miss. I stopped by today after attending a nearby yoga class and grabbed a bite to-go. Their menu was straight forward, with options like sandwiches, pizzas, light sides, etc. I ordered the Charlie Sammy: sourdough, pesto, artichoke, provolone, tomatoes, and arugula. I also paid extra to add chicken as protein. The meal was delicious and served with a sliced pickle. The restaurant was close to empty, but I bet it stays jam packed during the summer months. Despite the slow season, parking is still tough. You'll find street parking available in the nearby residential neighborhoods. Luckily it's a nice walk, so don't let this small hiccup keep you from visiting!"
"Usually I just order pizza (it's so good) but today I also ordered a Pastrami sandwich and opened it up, literally looks so sad hardly pastrami in it and all pickles and bread. Called thinking either I would get a refund if I was able to take this back or maybe a new sandwich but there is nothing that can be done I'm told. I wish I would have known before ordering a sandwich I will never do this again from now on ONLY pizza"
"Love this place. Their pink sauce, angel hair pasta with chicken is just... **drool**!Good portions, totally worth it.I'm forever getting my pasta from here!"
"Great atmosphere for a bite and a drink, bartenders and friendly and provide great service. Also nice to be able to hit the driving range or putting green and play 9 or 18. Highly recommended"

Amazing pizzas! I've had this twice now and will continue to order from them when they're around. The pizzas are fresh and hot, but it's the sauce that had me addicted. The first time I had their cheese pizza. The second time I couldn't decide between the spicy vodka and the supreme, so the owner made me a half and half. Great customer service!!!

The best Mexican Panadería in Downey! With so many Mexican bakeries in LA, it's hard to find the ones that are actually good. Well, this one is one of them! Their concha's are on point! Especially the mini-conchas! They are a favorite in our household. Prices are pretty reasonable as well. I would highly recommend this panadería. Pro tip- if you want mini conchas, go early because they run out!

Massimo's is my family's favorite casual pizza and B'day party place. Not only is it nearby but the food and service is non pariel. They always seem to aim to please. I go for the garbage pizza's ( pepperoni, sausage onion, green pepper, garlic, olives mushrooms with lotsa anchovey's) salads and subs, especially ever since LUCCI'S closed. The salads are great, the pizza's are great even without anchovy's. Their subs are pretty good but I was spoiled with LUCCI'S subs and EYEtalian dressing. My thing is that I only order food at restaurants that o don't make at home. I never order spaghetti with polpette, lasagna and linguini with melanzana, etc. Many times we'll order take out for impromptu family gatherings. Great neighborhood pizza joint.EDISON HIGH SCHOOL All four of my sons and two of my grandkids were CHARGERS.Four of my sons were Footballers

Always a good pizza ... friendly service and quick to order and be served...Pizzas have always tasted good, not overwhelmed with the sauce, always loaded with toppings and made on tasty dough/bread crust! Call-in for pickup or have it delivered, this is not a family dine in pizza house.

Craving that New York slice? Look no further. Also if you ever get a chance to try their speciality princess peach when they have it again, don't let it slip through your fingers. Classic pepperoni and there is just something special about their white Ferrari that keeps me coming back. Big shout out to the staff that always recognize me and make this my go to pizza spot when that craving hits.

"Simply the best Detroit style pizza in Orange County in my opinion. My go to is the Eliot which is a simple peperoni pizza. However, the real star of the show to me is the sourdough crust that really can make or break a Detroit style pizza, this is so pillow soft and fluffy it is incredible. Service is always outstanding, so friendly, so happy to help. It is a smaller shop with not a lot of table space, but they are located just steps from the pier and ocean so plenty of options to take it with you to a beautiful view. I have done this many times."
"I'm not a huge coffee drinker so I have to rave about their sourdough bagels. I ordered The Big Easy breakfast sandwich with sausage on a cheese bagel and I was blown away by how delicious the bagel was. I wish the filling on the sandwich was a little heartier but I would order that bagel again and again. I ordered an iced Strawberry Matcha to go with it which was also lovely but a little lighter on the strawberry than I usually prefer. The space itself is cozy, welcoming and eclectic. Vegan pizza is available in the afternoons."
"I love the "Works Pizza". It has so many good veggies. - My only suggestion would to cut back on the salt. (The toppings were a bit too salty.)"
"Food was amazing We really enjoyed our take away orderPizza was delicious and worth the lofty prices Will be going backPlace is small but clean And will eat there next time"
"Ordered online through yelp. The basil and cheese only. I enjoyed it. Delicious thin crust and not too oily. Good price and quick service!"
"Great pizza run by El Segundo brewing, so good variety of beers on tap as well. Always very busy, but the pizzas come out pretty fast. Only one size - a family sized large - so if it's just one or two you'll be eating leftovers for a few days."
"I got the 15" Catalano special pizza. If you love cheese, you'll love this pizza. The ingredients tasted fresh. It had pepperoni, sausage, ham, mushrooms, olives, onions and bell peppers. The owner was very nice and welcoming. I drove about 30 minutes back to San Gabriel Valley and by the time I got home, the pizza was still hot. Before this, I had Thai food at LB Thai food. The pizza was so good that I ate 2 slices and tempted to eat a 3rd slice. The location is in a small plaza next to a Dollar Tree. This is a local mom and pop's hole in the wall pizza joint. Love the interior decorations. The owner is so sweet! I was a little shy, it was freezing in north LB around 8pm on a Saturday night lol."
"Located in the center of a an upscale strip mall lies this gem of a pizzeria. The decor is set mid modern with NY sports memorabilia aligning the walls, a tribute to Yankees, Giants, Mets and Jets.Sammy, the chef and owner, makes an incredible slice worthy to go toe to toe with the East coast brethrens. Wafer thin perfectly golden crust and whole milk moz. No matter the toppings, you will find it difficult to beat on the this side of the coast."
"amazing customer service and food! reasonable prices too pizza place just a few building down is charging double the price !"
"I went here last night with a very large group of people around 815 and they got us in no problem! Super nice staff and great service. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with the Roma sauce (pink sauce) and it was so good. Very large portion and I was able to take half home with me for another day. No one else had any complaints! Will go back and try Alfredo I am curious to see if it's good there."
"Surprisingly had one of the most delicious peperoni pizza here ! Can't beat people watching at the beach. It's a vibe here if you want to dance they had a dj going! Our server was on the move and was always easy to grab attention when we needed her!"
"I never heard of this place but it's very nearby my house so decided to give it a try. Good cheap pizza! Places an order through the phone and the wait wasn't bad at all."
"I am speaking on behalf of a Grubhub (been getting their ad coming to my house for a while now and been wanting to try) order from this place but I'll say thisI orders some zucchini fries and the portion honestly wasn't little lacking a bit but it was good. I appreciate they are cut evenly and same size vs chunky clunky but they were goodNow the best others parts was the Italian sub sandwich which was delicious! Loved the flavors and meats! The last thing I got was their pizza and let me say something about that crust that isn't a normal pizza crust but I liked it a lot!! It was delicious So from that standpoint their food is really delicious and I'd definitely order again!"
"First time at District 4 Pizza my son & i came in today for Bixby's PTA Fundraiser where my daughter goes to, as we walked in the restaurant was spaciously beautiful clean atmosphere felt very welcoming. Was seated by a older lady with blonde hair wasn't able to catch her name; she was very sweet, friendly she was also who took my order explained to me about Districts Lunch Special that they have Mon-Fri. therefore that's what i end up ordering a long with an Iced Tea + cup of water for my son & i."
"This review is a bit overdue. I came here with my husband near the end of Sept on a Thursday afternoon to watch a football game. I wasn't sure what to expect given all the horrible reviews. We sat in the inner section by the stage where the big screen was. It wasn't too busy, and there was ample space. Our server was very sweet and polite and was prompt with our order and requests. There was music playing, but after a while of the game starting, they turned it off and allowed the patrons to listen to the game. Food was great, drinks were good. Really no complaints. My son got chicken strips, I ordered gobernador tacos, and I forgot what my husband ordered, but we all enjoyed our plates. I do advise that if you go during the warmer weather, wear mosquito repellent if you're one that is usually mosquito lunch/dinner. I got bit 5 times that night:-["
"Great place for halal food and great service too. Over time we have tried - zinger burger- chaat - falooda- gulab jaman - goal gappey And all good were clean , yummy Highly recommend"
"Terrific slices. Thin and firm bread crust. They tan them to just enough light crisp. Good mozzarella, quality meats and low grease level. A flavorful, traditional NY slice in every way. Great guys and atmosphere , too. Highly recommended."
"It was the day after Christmas and we were wiped out from the night prior of festivities. We were ready for a chill day with zero cooking and chores. We were seated in a booth, which I love. Super cozy.Lasagna sounded really good about now. And our brain was definitely hankering for comfort food. We started with soup. Minestrone for him. And I had the Onion soup - and it was quite a meal - with a hunk of bread and melted cheese. Husband and I shared: the Lasagna - layers of pasta, ground beef, Italian sausage, spinach, ricotta, mozzarella, garlic and spices with meat sauce. served right out of the oven on in a casserole dish, best way as it retains its heat throughout of meal.Cauliflower fritti - fried florette served on a bed of romaine lettuce and with garlic aioli (we love a good veggie dish!)The bread basket tells a lot about the restaurant. The basket was filled with herb focaccia, not just a boring white bread! I had a glass of Sangiovese, Caparzo, husband chose the house Chianti. What a pairing!Service was nice and friendly. Our server constantly checked on us. For sure, we will come back so we can try the other dishes too! Buon appetito!* There is also a small bar towards the back and seatings available for those who prefer this."
"Small hole in the wall place A bit too expensive for what it is. A bit too oily but overall ok"
"Above and beyond truly! Note: smaller place, so if you have a bigger party, I'd recommend calling ahead. With a party of 2, I have had good luck of getting seated quickly! Very kind and fast staff -- you get welcomed with a plate of warm pesto flatbread (I overindulged in this!) and I felt like my drink was never empty! Fungi pizza was my favorite, with the New York pizza in close second! Fresh and delicious. I don't like carbonara usually -- this was the best carbonara I've ever had. Pasta is cooked perfectly and the sauce is very rich. Now a favorite Italian spot of mine that I really recommend."
"Had an absolute blast coming here with Kailey as our server. Full of recommendations, good energy, and laughs. Would certainly be back for the delightful drinks and Kailey's energy! Thank you surf dogs!!!"
"Yuck unfortunately, unprofessional. It kills people to be professional! Poor service."
"If you want to feel like youre at home, not have to be overwhelmed by the bill and have really really good food, then come here. And if you dont come here, this locals friendly, huge pride of ownership restaurant will just fade away and that will be a shame..Must haves - Meatballs, Antipasto saladAnd order more pizza than you're going to eat. The fresh crust and topping are made to reheat (oven only!!!! micro is sacrilegious)Service was outstanding and quick, ambiance was inviting and relaxing and it was a modestly busy thursday night, 80% of the tables were full...Great stuff..."
