"Wow, so delicious! My first time here and there was a bit of a wait, but definitely worth it! The tempura was crispy, and the fish was very fresh. I've never had tempura sauce with grated radish in it, but I enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of shrimp so it was great that I was able to substitute it with veggie tempura (chicken is also an available substitute).The service was good, it doesn't take too long for the food to come out, and the restaurant is clean. I can't wait to come back!"

"A very tasty hole in the wall. We were looking for something casual and found this restaurant in Buena Park. Lots of parking. They were pretty understaffed but had a decent amount of customers. It was about a 15 minute wait on a Monday evening.Our server Geordan was very nice and checked on us even though he was super busy. I ordered the lomo saltado which was a skirt steak stir fry with rice, tomatoes, french fries and onions. Well seasoned and good sized portion. My brother also enjoyed their fried rice special. Their juice is okay but the platanos were good. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place for a casual dine out."

"We went to Higo chicken with dear friends after the movies this past weekend, and let me tell you, it knocked my socks off. For my better half and I plus our little guy we ordered:***Ceviche de Pescado: This was fish marinaded to perfection served with cooked sweet potato slices and hominy. This was very different and special.***Pollo Saltado: This was so incredibly flavorful. The only bummer was it had a whole lot of french fries and not a lot of chicken.***Side salad: This was surprisingly delightful and I would 100% order again. it was fresh and whatever the dressing was is so yummy.***Plantains: These were the perfect fried and sweet treat.We also got to try the Yucca a la Huancaina which is fried yucca with a side of cheese sauce. This was good but I don't think I'd get it again.The green sauce that they bring to the table deserves it's own paragraph. Man, that is so good. If you don't know why it's so good, please don't ask. It will ruin the illusion that this might be a healthy sauce when you learn the base ingredient.We will definitely be back!"

"Pollo Inka has been a family favorite for dinner for the longest time. My family loves Peruvian food and Pollo inka Express has been an amazing and fast spot to go pick up some delicious Peruvian delights. The way their chicken is marinated and cooked is mouth watering. Your Costco rotisserie chicken has nothing on Pollo Inkas! It pairs perfectly with their Aji green salsa which is a thick, green, delicious garlic based sauce. All of their sides are so delicious, we always get yucca frita, plantains, rice and beans. Not to mention their delicious green cilantro soup!!? Wash this all down with an Inca Kola --food coma, off to heaven shortly after. To me, Inca Kola tastes like bubblegum. I recommend trying it at least once. It's the 2 liter of bright yellow soda and you can find it here or at any latino supermarket. If you like sweets, you have to try their alfajores (little Peruvian caramel cookies) They're so soft and the best I've ever tried. I recently bought my mom some from this expensive place and they were so tiny and not as good as Pollo inkas!!!! Don't skip on these. Trust me. We will never stop craving Pollo inka and I will always highly recommend this location to anyone that's hungry and wants to try something different, with a short wait time and amazing service. Did I mention they have a drive thru??? This place is simply awesome!"

"I waited a long time to try Sushi Nikkei! It was amazing both times. I love the interior the wall paintings & light fixtures - but of course the food is the most amazing. When we ordered, we were told they could add a half order to anything with only two pieces as there were 3 in our party. That was appreciated as we could all try everything. I loved the Aji Amarillo & Parrillera sauces. They were both delicious and added to the sushi they were on. My favorite was the Rock Shrimp appetizer the truffle oil gave the tempura a great added flavor AND the Acebichado Roll was also amazing! The Peruvian sushi is beauitiful and so good - love the presentation. Overall, food was excellent - service was great. The only misstep was speed of service. We ordered everything together on our first time and our table was crammed with dishes. I prefer when the meal is more paced out, soo you can enjoy each course. On our second trip, we paced our order so we weren't overwhelmed."

We were looking for a restaurant that was sort of in the middle of us and friends in Whittier. And I am incredibly glad we find it. Their food is really good. The restaurant had tons of seating and I love the decor, and the staff is so nice! I ordered the lomo saltado, my husband ordered the aji de gallina and our friend ordered the chaufa marisco. We were all so happy with our meals!! And A+ for a kids menu!I cannot wait to go back the next time I am in town."

"Came here for Peruvian food. Small parking lot is available outside of the restaurant. I only see 1 server, but service was prompt. Everything was communicated in Spanish, so I was little lost. However, the server seemed very nice. Restaurant has a causal Latin vibes, and Spanish music was played on TV. Server brought us warm bread with a green and white dressing. The green dressing was too spicy for me. I like the white dressing much better. We got cream soda, which I am not a big fan of, and lomo saltado. I had similar dish before, but this lomo saltado was better than what I had. Meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful that was perfectly cooked. I finished the whole dish, and was very full! Will come back again if I am in the area."

He shared with me that it took him two years to perfect his Lomo Saltado when he went to Peru to learn the cousin . I don't keep in touch with him anymore, but whenever I eat Peruvian food, I think of him.later my alliance had a bully whos also from Peru, he wAs rude and had a temper. Unfortunately, Peruvian cuisine is hard to find in Taiwan, where the food diversity isn't that great. On the other hand, this a small but welcoming restaurant in Pico Rivera that I really enjoy."

"We tried the ceviche yesterday. It was really good when we first ordered. Then a new cook lady came and we ordered two more. But the ceviche tasted differently. The review from the Jassimier girl (costumer) was wrong. I was there when she complained about the chicken. The cook wanted to offer the chicken for free since "she didn't like it" and she made a scene saying she didn't ask for free stuff. Then what did she want the cook to do? Anyhow other than that food was really good!"

"What an incredible surprise this place was. We usually go to Aji to get our Peruvian, but this place was every bit as good if not better than aji. The presentations were well done if not a bit too contrived. On the tallarine beef I would have preferred the fries mixed into the sauté pan with the filet. But it tasted very good just the same. The corn in the ceviche was great. I highly recommend this place. You gotta go if you like Peruvian cooking, they do it right at azucar, which means "sugar" and this place is sweet."

"The food here is just amazing!!!!! I've had Peruvian food before and this is top notch. I dined here and service was super fast and the girl was pretty attentive. I got my bread and butter, then came my soup. I ordered chicken with rice and fries. All of it was delicious! The Aji sauce was delicious. My hubby had the lomo saltado and he loved it. We are definitely coming back. Btw it's super cute inside! The only thing I didn't like was that music is super loud! And you have music playing from the kitchen, other music playing in the dining area and the tv on. Too much noise! Otherwise it's a great location."
