"bad service food portuon smaller 2 waitress since we got there we took a long time waiting. The server was lagging it on the straw on the spoons. My brother-in-law want to ask Quan. The server said he can't get it. Then we had to ask the server who was there to be rude the first time then after my son accidentally broke a cup and he was saying, you guys better charge him the cup laughing and then when I said it was his birthday to bring him a cake they they didn't have any more cake that I have to buy one of not they could bring cookies so they ended up bringing cookies if just so many things I hope I get a discount and I will get to the manager again I told him that time they also didn't have fountain drinks because the machine didn't work so everything was all the time"
"Been coming here for over a decade. One of the hidden gems in the South Bay. Nothing fancy from the outside and the Interior has gone through a few renovations. Staff is as welcoming as ever and the food is delicious. My favorite dishes by far here are the Chicharron Mixto Al Ajo and the Tallarin Saltado. The green sauce is amazing here, I swear I almost finish a whole bottle everytime. I put that .... On everything. No joke.Chicharron is nice and crispy and a good mix of seafood from fish, squid, shrimp, and more. The garlic sauce is delicious. Though sometimes they make it a little too salty for me. But the crispy seafood, garlic sauce, rice, and green sauce to top it off is delicious. The Lomo Saltado is good, but I personally prefer the Tallarin Saltado. The noodles, onions, beef with green sauce is delicious. This boast we got the assorted sashimi. Excellent cuts and variety of fish.If you ever come with a large party, I recommend the chowders as well. Nice and creamy with lots of flavor."

"You know the place is legit and authentic when they are committing to speaking to me and my party in Spanish despite none of being visibly from a Spanish speaking ethnicity. The servers were kind and helpful, and very quick with delivery. The food is absolutely delicious - I strongly recommend getting the aji de gallina. One of the best I've had."
"Chicken is amazing! Always fresh food. Peruvian spot. Restaurant is small so we always order take out. My kids love it."
"The food here is just amazing!!!!! I've had Peruvian food before and this is top notch. I dined here and service was super fast and the girl was pretty attentive. I got my bread and butter, then came my soup. I ordered chicken with rice and fries. All of it was delicious! The Aji sauce was delicious. My hubby had the lomo saltado and he loved it. We are definitely coming back. Btw it's super cute inside! The only thing I didn't like was that music is super loud! And you have music playing from the kitchen, other music playing in the dining area and the tv on. Too much noise! Otherwise it's a great location."
"My brother and I split a whole chicken with brown rice, soup & salad for $30.80 before tip. This is more than half off the price I spent at Wurstkuche for my brother and I. I actually felt guilty for spending so little on my food. I left an $8 tip."
"The service here is always excellent. They are very fast, present, and helpful. I love the chaufa and my wife loves their soup. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming."
"Pollo Inka has been a family favorite for dinner for the longest time. My family loves Peruvian food and Pollo inka Express has been an amazing and fast spot to go pick up some delicious Peruvian delights. The way their chicken is marinated and cooked is mouth watering. Your Costco rotisserie chicken has nothing on Pollo Inkas! It pairs perfectly with their Aji green salsa which is a thick, green, delicious garlic based sauce. All of their sides are so delicious, we always get yucca frita, plantains, rice and beans. Not to mention their delicious green cilantro soup!!? Wash this all down with an Inca Kola --food coma, off to heaven shortly after. To me, Inca Kola tastes like bubblegum. I recommend trying it at least once. It's the 2 liter of bright yellow soda and you can find it here or at any latino supermarket. If you like sweets, you have to try their alfajores (little Peruvian caramel cookies) They're so soft and the best I've ever tried. I recently bought my mom some from this expensive place and they were so tiny and not as good as Pollo inkas!!!! Don't skip on these. Trust me. We will never stop craving Pollo inka and I will always highly recommend this location to anyone that's hungry and wants to try something different, with a short wait time and amazing service. Did I mention they have a drive thru??? This place is simply awesome!"
"If you're in the Downey area do yourself a favor and try this place!!!! I ABSOLUTELY make this my stop EVERY TIME I'm around the area. This is AUTHENTIC and DELICIOUS!!! I ALWAYS get the Lomo saltado with fries NOT noodles! Tender marinated beef, grilled purple onions and tomatoes, fries and a scoop of white rice all floating in what I can only describe as "crack sauce" *drools*. TIPS: Don't eat the rice as it comes, mix it into the juicy crack sauce. Also, mix the green and yellow sauce at the table together on the SIDE of your plate and then dip each bite. The reason I mix it as opposed to just drizzling it on top is bc they taste better together AND the green sauce is rather spicy so mixing it separately will allow you to get the exact combination you like. Other popular dishes I see ordered are the roasted chicken and the "caldo de gallina", I stick to the Lomo Saltado though bc I just can't imagine anything else tasting as amazing!!! It's a small restaurant so be prepared to wait for food and a seat during busy times, which is most every time. So worth it though!!!!"
"No BS Peruvian cuisine, delicious and well priced. You can see the flame while they cook; and taste it in your food - the smoky fire flavor that enhances the aroma and taste! You get a small soup on the side with every dish + their house green sauce which complements the dishes well. Favorites are the tallarin and lomo saltado."
"Our first tine dining here. So many items on the menu and I selected the Tallarin spaghetti with sliced beef and vegetables. It was very good, however the beef was a bit tough. But the meal was very flavorful. The front parking lot is relatively small but not full when we arrived. There is additional parking in the rear and on an adjacent parking lot that serves several businesses. Since it was our first time there I had questions and the cashier was very friendly patient and knowledgeable answering all our questions. The interior of the restaurant was bright, modern and clean. It felt welcoming. Glad we gave it a try and I'll certainly dine there again."
"Aguadito De pollo (cilantro soup) add the lime and some tajin seasoning and OMG one of the best soups I've had. I love it more then pazole!! Chicken and veggies with potatoes and rice! Sooo good!Lomo Saltado-beef and veggies over fries served with rice. Always a favorite go to. They season it really good. Can never go wrong. Rotisserie chicken- omg this really shocked me! I was not expecting the flavor on this chicken. It was sooo good! It def not ur normal rotisserie. It had that Peruvian twist for sure!Green noodles are meh... it tasted like it looked. Noodles with a green sauce lol. Nothing stood out about it and the sauce was kind of bland. The bread and the sauces (yellow & green) are one of my favs!! Soft bread and that sauce...oMG is so damn good! The owner is a sweet lady!! Love ur food!!(:"

Had one of the worst experiences by far at this location. Left around 7pm tonight. I had a party of 8 including two kids. We sat down and ordered kids food first along with 3 appetizers so that they can eat first as we all know kids get impatient. 2 appetizers arrived at our table, missing one. We never got it. One adult got his food first 20 minutes later we got the rest of our food. One plate was incorrect so that person had to wait an additional 10mins while everyone else ate. We asked for water and failed to come to the table. No silverware was given we had to take from empty tables around us. No napkins offered. At this point we asked for boxes to go because it was just an unpleasant experience and we had been waiting for our food for far too long. As we are waiting for the bill we let out server Stephanie know that there's items on our check that do not pertain to us. She leaves to remove them. In the meantime we asked someone else for a cup of water. (Zume) I think her name was. Someone from our party went up to the bar to ask for the water once again and the same girl told him "you may need to wait, you guys think you can hurry up? We are waiting for your table to leave we need to sit a party of 12 and it's a Surprise" at this point it was unbelievable that they said this to us as it was on their part that we were WAITING. We waited for our food a good amount of time. We did not get to enjoy our meals and now are being rushed to leave although it's the servers fault we are waiting!? I then asked for servers name and managers name and I was told that there was NO manager onsite tonight which is extremely disappointing. I asked who was in charge and was told no one was and that I would have to call in the morning and ask for a "victor" it took several times of asking who was the manager for them to tell me. We were fine with just leaving and paying for our food but once the comment of us being asked to leave because another party is waiting pissed us off. It ruined the birthday we were celebrating and REGRET coming here instead of el rocoto down the street!! HORRIBLE SERVICE.

10 years ago I had the flan here and I loved it lol. Came back finally because I happened to be in the area and was hungry I told my husband let's goooo! We've been together for about 6 years and he has heard me talk about this place every time we get flan. Anytime we go get flan I always say "it's just not as good" and it's ALMOST as I remember! Still delicious! I just can't decide if they or another place has the better one, guess I'll just have to come back and try it again to see Overall though food is great! You can't go wrong with the fried rice dishes and the lomo saltado but their sashimi looks great (husband won't eat it so didn't get it this time around). And the flan is delicious!! They have been here for I believe 20 years and when you taste the food you understand why. Our server liliana (sorry if I misspelled it!!) was so nice as well!!

Cute place in a random strip mall. No counter but you sit and are helped as someone comes out of the back. The ceviche was soooo good. I usually don't care for white fish ceviche but omg this did not disappoint. We were asked how we wanted the beef cooked and it actually came out medium as asked! The lomo saltado was good! The quality of the meat was better than most places. Most of the dish however was made up of the french fries. Delicious gem... will be back to try all the different varieties of ceviche!

Food was good, fries were good. That green sauce GOOD. Everything was good. We took it to go. It was too Hot in there to eat at the restaurant. We had all intentions of eating there. I was sweating just sitting there. They have an AC but they don't use it.

Wow! My first time trying Peruvian food and it was amazing. The waitress helped me to order and understand the menu on my first trip, she was so helpful. The food was next level amazing - the house soup, the ceviche, and the lomo saltida. I highly recommend this restaurant!

There are a number of things to love about this location: -Ample parking-Excellent and attentive service-A nice, welcoming atmosphere -Plenty of seating, especially for large groups-Good music on rotation that's not too loud-A well thought out menu with options for individual meals or family style sharingBut, goodness. The food is so bland. This was my first time dining at any El Pollo Inka location. It's a local chain and popular with the family. Apparently, the restaurant has been around since I was in elementary school growing up in Los Angeles, but I had never heard of it. It's a Peruvian restaurant with an origin story about a family that immigrated to the U.S. in the late 1970s. Sounds like the family has poured everything -- their hearts and love -- into the restaurant. The most popular dish, from what I have heard is the Pollo a la Brasa, the Peruvian rotisserie chicken, which I very happily ordered. The dish was quite fresh, but the chicken had no noticeable flavor. I was shocked, because I hear that nearly 10 different herbs and spices are used to make this signature chicken. We also went with the calamari. Which was actually more flavorful and more interesting overall. It came with boiled potatoes, which were so bland and did not add anything at all, and marinated onions -- and a ton of them. The canario beans and rice, however, were absolutely delicious. I could have had a bowl of that and nothing else. And if I ever return, that may be all that I order -- though I am interested in a number of seafood dishes they offer. And I really enjoyed the bowl of soup provided at the start of (most) meals. So, not a good impression. And not eager to return. But I say give them at least once chance to interest you.

"DELICIOUS! Honest to goodness genuine Peruvian food served with a smile in a cozy atmosphere. A hit every time."
"Once upon a time, during Covid , while I was still playing online games, I met a teammate who was a chef from Colombia, currently miserablely working at a fast food joint in Australia. He shared with me that it took him two years to perfect his Lomo Saltado when he went to Peru to learn the cousin . I don't keep in touch with him anymore, but whenever I eat Peruvian food, I think of him.later my alliance had a bully whos also from Peru, he wAs rude and had a temper. Unfortunately, Peruvian cuisine is hard to find in Taiwan, where the food diversity isn't that great. On the other hand, this a small but welcoming restaurant in Pico Rivera that I really enjoy."
"This place is a nice place to have in our city as we don't have too many Colombian / Latin style places to choose from. Cindy was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of during our meal. My wife and I ordered the Chaufa de Pollo and some Empanadas. Everything was tasty (I especially liked the green hot sauce on everything). We definitely will be back for more as I wanting to try the Bandeja Paisa!"
"I grew up nearby and I have never been and now I regret not finding this place sooner!! I found this spot on Yelp. THANK YOU YELP!! It's soooooo good. We were looking for a restaurant that was sort of in the middle of us and friends in Whittier. And I am incredibly glad we find it. Their food is really good. The restaurant had tons of seating and I love the decor, and the staff is so nice! I ordered the lomo saltado, my husband ordered the aji de gallina and our friend ordered the chaufa marisco. We were all so happy with our meals!! And A+ for a kids menu!I cannot wait to go back the next time I am in town."
"What an incredible surprise this place was. We usually go to Aji to get our Peruvian, but this place was every bit as good if not better than aji. The presentations were well done if not a bit too contrived. On the tallarine beef I would have preferred the fries mixed into the sauté pan with the filet. But it tasted very good just the same. The corn in the ceviche was great. I highly recommend this place. You gotta go if you like Peruvian cooking, they do it right at azucar, which means "sugar" and this place is sweet."
"Fire roasted chicken? YesAffordable price? YesSmall business? YesAmazing taste? Yes Pleasant service? Yes Coming back? Yes"
"Food was sooo good. Service was great. The steak was cooked perfectly. Very generous portions and the staff is awesome!"
"Wonderful, friendly service, great food and flavors, big portions and fast service. Lots of variety on the menu come on in ."
"OH I would still rate this VOX kitchen w their signature dish, the Lomo Saltado 4 stars even if as my videos show, not cooked by a Vietnamese. Would you tell this dude, he must tilt the wok to get the flame in the meat, he did not do that, he did do it for the fries though. Would u also either marinate the beef, Maggi if possible if not add more soy sauce, it was very bland I had to add tons of Maggi at home. It's never the same if you add it after it was cooked. The green sauce, I remembered, was exquisite, yesterday it was very bland? what happened, it was watery like it had too much half and half instead of mayo plus cilantro I guess. Don't get me wrong, I love Mexico, I go there twice a year the last 30 years, a Mexican cooking VN food is like a VN cooking Indian food, it does not work as well. That said, I'm realistic, comparison to all the copy cats!! LOL! in town, you are still the QUEEN OF LOMO SALTADO but keep up the good work. I'll be baaaaack!"
"Friends recommended Casa Chaskis which is how I found myself ordering take out from here on a lazy Sunday night. The menu includes all sorts of Peruvian favorites ~ all versions of saltados and chaufas.I shared the following:-pollo saltado ($13.99): chicken stir fry with onions, tomatoes + French fries with rice-tallarin saltado de mariscos ($19.00): shrimp, fish, calamari, clams, + mussels stir fried with noodles, onions, and tomatoesAs a matter fact preference, I like a pollo saltado over a regular lomo saltado. I found the chicken in my dish to be really dry. The pollo saltado tasted a little rough and lacked the saltado flavoring. I also found the tallarin saltado de mariscos to be lackluster. There wasn't a ton of flavor coming from the seafood. I felt like both the saltado and tallarin to be really bland. They resembled their respective dishes, but beyond that, lacked any flavor. I don't know whether it's because I ordered take out on a Sunday night our food tasted so haphazard? In any case, I'll have to give Chaskis another go. And maybe I'll have to dine in and order the greatest hits the next time around."
"I came to Omeli Kitchen on Valentine's Day around 7 PM and was seated right away, even without a reservation. The restaurant was full, yet the three women running the show handled everything seamlessly. The space is a bit snug, but they make great use of it and keep it spotless.Service was great and attentive. The food was next level. Every dish had so much flavor, and the portions were generous--you'll leave feeling well-fed and already planning your next visit."
"Tasty and fresh! We enjoyed our dinner at Akashiro. The service was wonderful and attentive. The kids loved their fried fish n' avocado bowl, fish broth soup, and special eel/avocado roll. We practically ordered the entire menu for the adults and everything was wonderful! Though, some of the dishes were a bit overly saucy so it took away from the natural flavor/texture of the fish. Love the location in downtown Fullerton :)"
"Came here for Peruvian food. Small parking lot is available outside of the restaurant. I only see 1 server, but service was prompt. Everything was communicated in Spanish, so I was little lost. However, the server seemed very nice. Restaurant has a causal Latin vibes, and Spanish music was played on TV. Server brought us warm bread with a green and white dressing. The green dressing was too spicy for me. I like the white dressing much better. We got cream soda, which I am not a big fan of, and lomo saltado. I had similar dish before, but this lomo saltado was better than what I had. Meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful that was perfectly cooked. I finished the whole dish, and was very full! Will come back again if I am in the area."
"On a food tour designed by yours truly, we ran into this pair making high quality Peruvian food and wanted to see how they prepare things. We watched the chef make the Lomo Saltado, made with fries, perfectly cut pieces of beef, freshly cooked vegetables, rice all below a fried egg. He did a wonderful job at putting it all together. Despite it being a bit pricey, it was high quality food at its finest. They've been at it four days and appear to have caught the eyes of street food fans in Long Beach. They are very professional as you'll see from their set up so things are quite clean on the street."
"Authentic, Home style and delicious! Our server was such a sweet gal and very hospitable. The vibe was very family oriented and cozy. The photos/ Art on the walls were beautiful. We enjoyed the fried rice w beef/arroz chaufa and sautéed fish/seafood, flan and a guava drink. It was all delicious! The condiments were perfect and so tasty. They have a market selection to purchase Peruvian goods and we bought a variety of sauces and treats. The flavors were excellent on all of our meals. Thank you! We will be back!!"
"We came to the Bixby location when they opened, we really liked it but tonight was even better! Not pictured, but we did the tuna tasting and it was really worth it. Overall really good experience, we'll definitely be back soon."
"I waited a long time to try Sushi Nikkei! It was amazing both times. I love the interior the wall paintings & light fixtures - but of course the food is the most amazing. When we ordered, we were told they could add a half order to anything with only two pieces as there were 3 in our party. That was appreciated as we could all try everything. I loved the Aji Amarillo & Parrillera sauces. They were both delicious and added to the sushi they were on. My favorite was the Rock Shrimp appetizer the truffle oil gave the tempura a great added flavor AND the Acebichado Roll was also amazing! The Peruvian sushi is beauitiful and so good - love the presentation. Overall, food was excellent - service was great. The only misstep was speed of service. We ordered everything together on our first time and our table was crammed with dishes. I prefer when the meal is more paced out, soo you can enjoy each course. On our second trip, we paced our order so we weren't overwhelmed."
"Aji is a great place for elevated Peruvian food. I took my parents here for dinner this week, and they LOVED it. Portions may be smaller, and prices may be higher than most other Peruvian restaurants, but keep in mind that you are paying for the quality of the ingredients, and the intricate cooking techniques used to execute these flawless dishes. The Pescado a lo Macho was our favorite dish of the night, but you really can't go wrong with anything you order from here. If you come during Happy Hour, get the Ceviche and Lomito bowl. Don't forget to ask for their trio of sauces to accompany your meal. Service was excellent, and the ambiance was warm and intimate. My mom was so impressed, she went back the next day to pick up dessert."
"This food truck set up shop right outside of our building today so after taking a look at their picture menu (and with some help with the cashier (he's outside of the truck), I ordered the Tumi Salad for $10. I got there early so the wait wasn't so long, but stay by the truck! I noticed that they don't really yell out order numbers! And they have a TV by their "Pick Up" window playing Latino music, so it could be a little hard to hear them! The Tumi Salad comes with their vegan aji sauce, tomato, lettuce, and a quinoa patty. I'm not sure what they put in their quinoa to make it so tasty but it is delicious! The lemon or lime in the aji suace just goes so well everything in your container. Also, the patty is fried, not baked, so I think that's what makes it even more flavorful. They have other vegan options here like the Quinoa Pilaf, but they also offer sandwiches such as the La Royal, Chan-Chan, and plate dishes such as the Lomo Satado, Tallarin Verde, or Ceviche.Would totally eat here again!"
"We tried the ceviche yesterday. It was really good when we first ordered. Then a new cook lady came and we ordered two more. But the ceviche tasted differently. The review from the Jassimier girl (costumer) was wrong. I was there when she complained about the chicken. The cook wanted to offer the chicken for free since "she didn't like it" and she made a scene saying she didn't ask for free stuff. Then what did she want the cook to do? Anyhow other than that food was really good!"
"A very tasty hole in the wall. We were looking for something casual and found this restaurant in Buena Park. Lots of parking. They were pretty understaffed but had a decent amount of customers. It was about a 15 minute wait on a Monday evening. Our server Geordan was very nice and checked on us even though he was super busy. I ordered the lomo saltado which was a skirt steak stir fry with rice, tomatoes, french fries and onions. Well seasoned and good sized portion. My brother also enjoyed their fried rice special. Their juice is okay but the platanos were good. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place for a casual dine out."
"This place never disappoints. Fast friendly service and warm fluffy bread that melts in your mouth!"
"Wow, so delicious! My first time here and there was a bit of a wait, but definitely worth it! The tempura was crispy, and the fish was very fresh. I've never had tempura sauce with grated radish in it, but I enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of shrimp so it was great that I was able to substitute it with veggie tempura (chicken is also an available substitute). The service was good, it doesn't take too long for the food to come out, and the restaurant is clean. I can't wait to come back!"
