"On a recent trip to Newport Beach, my boss told me he was tired of Nobu and challenged me to find something he'd like better. Fully convinced that both my job and my reputation were on the line, I aggressively researched all options before landing on Tavern House.Spoiler: I was triumphant. From the moment we walked in, the staff were each more pleasant than the last - from the hostesses who knew we were visiting from NC to the absolutely tremendous Nori, we felt cared for and welcomed. The wine list was one of the better curated lists I've seen recently - was absolutely tickled to see my favorite Orin Swift in the bottles (8 Years in the Desert) plus his Prisoner by the glass. We landed on Austin Hope as the ideal complement to our dinners. We started with the barbecued chipotle bourbon oysters, which were *amazing* (and as the thing that made me choose the restaurant initially, they lived up). Around the table, we had the Kurobuta double-cut pork chop, the prime rib dip, the seafood special I forgot, and my own French Onion filet. That filet was the best damn steak I have EVER had. It combined all the wonderful elements of classic French Onion soup with a perfectly seared filet. With frites, y'all!!! We also shared an order of the charred Brussels sprouts, which were also fantastic. Somehow, we saved enough room to risk ordering dessert: a key lime pie martini (dubbed "proper delicious"), the carrot cake (fine. It's dessert laced with vegetables, so), and - drumroll - Bananaggedon. I would come back for that alone and I'm not even a banana fan. So ridiculously over-the-top and easily served our table of four. Even those more excited for carrot cake quickly abandoned that plate in favor of this. Meanwhile, we had a lovely view of the water - complete with fireworks over the Bay! The restaurant was fully decorated for the holidays but I imagine it would have been equally cozy and welcoming even without the seasonal additions. All told, this meal easily crossed into my top 3 for 2024, even accounting for recency bias. It's now a must-visit for every future work trip (we even added it as a top choice in the guidebook we give all visiting execs)."
"Normally, I'd give a four star but there's a new policy that we objected to, so read on.My friends and I eat here often and have always enjoyed the experience, food, service, and staff. Tonight we were surprised to find an extra 2.75% fee attached to our bill for using a credit card. We found this laughable because the cost of the food didn't decrease by this same amount. Math people will get this. On the flip side, the poor servers are the ones that are being hit the hardest by this fee. Customers by default want to discount the servers' tips. People understand this is a corporate decision, please don't penalize your servers. This change hits them harder than corporate. Come with a debit card or cash and pay your server with cash. FYI: I learned tonight; that the waiters pay the tax, not just on the tips they keep, but also on the tips they share with the busboys and kitchen staff. Wow! Thank goodness that in 2025 the wait staff won't have to pay tax on their tips!"

"only writing a review because of the current 3.9 stars when they absolutely deserve at least a 4.5. we came here one night when we had to wait for sushi at the spot in the lot and now crave this place regularly. I think we've tried most if not all the appetizers including the 48 hour fries, chips and dip, deviled eggs, tuna tartare, tostadas, and bacon wrap dates. The dates while a common place that many restaurants are so good here for really what stands out is the deviled eggs with the crab. When it comes to entrées, we order the halibut every time, the celeriac purée is so good it will have you licking the plate. Desserts and drinks are also incredible here just truly can't go wrong"
"One of my very favorites time after time. Top notch service, excellent food and such a cool and relaxing vibe. The pot pie on Friday nights is delicious and the hottest food you will ever have! The steaks are perfect and the sides are amazing. Mac and cheese is super creamy and yummy. Asparagus is great as well. Always a fan of A Restaurant!"
"R10 Social House is a great spot to kick off a beach day and have brunch! With summer in full swing; it certainly was a lovely start of the day to have brunch here at R10 Social House.Despite being a South Bay native and someone who has frequented the Redondo Pier; it was my first time ever to check out R10 Social House. I loved the wooden interior, chill ambiance and the view of the marina. I was seated downstairs but I also learned there is an upstairs area where events can be held. I got a little sneak peak of the upstairs area and was in awe of the view up there as well. I have to say I made a mental note for possible events here in the future. I can only imagine how gorgeous the view of the beach sunset is from here. Not only were the views from this restaurant something to talk about; their brunch food was also quite delightful. Being a lemon fan; I chose to get their Lemon Ricotta pancakes. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes were divine! They were so fluffy. I loved the toppings of blueberries and toasted almonds too. This dish really expected my expectations. I'm a lemon fan but totally didn't expect that I would enjoy this dish as much I did. I highly recommend.Overall I enjoyed my first time at R10 Social House and can see why many Redondo Beach pier vistors go here. Food is great, views are great and location is great. I found myself enjoying a nice stroll to the pier that was right there right after brunch. A visit here really is a nice way to kick off a beach day. Happy brunchin' and happy beach day!"
"Came Saturday morning where it was very busy but there were plenty of seats outside to sit with my dog Max. Others had their dogs as well. Nice place in Old Torrance. The food was great! I loved how fluffy the biscuit was and the gravy made it even better. The country fried steak was delicious with just a thin layer of breading. The French toast is an excellent choice as well! Definitely want to come back to the other items on the menu."
"Had a fantastic dinner at Andrei's! The cocktails were a perfect start - I had the Good Vibes, a great mix of jalapeño-infused tequila and citrus, and the Lady Lavender, which was light and refreshing with grapefruit and lavender syrup. For appetizers, the Ahi Tuna Tartare was super fresh, and the taro chips added a nice crunch. The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavor, while the Short Ribs were fall-apart delicious with Brussels sprouts and blue cheese whipped potatoes that hit the spot.I also had the Andrei's Chop Salad - fresh, full of roasted chicken, avocado, goat cheese, and candied walnuts. It was a nice, lighter option. To finish, I tried the Lemon Butter Cake, which was tasty but a bit on the dry side, and the Chocolate Budino, which was rich and amazing. Paired it all with a great cup of coffee to end the night. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was spot on. Definitely recommend this place!"
"Went to Baleen to celebrate Valentine's Day. The service was great, the restaurant aesthetics were nice, clean and classy and food was delicious! There's valet parking only BUT it's validated for 2 hours!Definitely new date night spot."
"Hands down the best vegan food in the area. Wow! I had the artichoke crabcakes fried and they were super delicious. The right amount of crisp, i saw some corn and peppers mixed in. The staff was super friendly and the chefs in the back were throwing down in that kitchen!. Every order that came out had me wanting to change my own order. It was such a good vibe inside. Folks enjoying their meals with family and friends. Let us know, how good the food was. I will definitely be back. The vibe alone is a positive."
"For seafood lovers, the Friday Seafood Extravaganza at catalina kitchen at Terrenea may be a good way to spend an evening eating all the sushi, crab legs, scallops, and poke you'd like. Came here with my family during a staycation and made a reservation in advance. It's $85 per person and you can charge it to the room if you're staying at the property or with credit card. Indoor and outdoor dining available. There is a kid's buffet area with wings, pizza, mac & cheese, etc. as well as meat options (ie prime rib, tomahawk, Mary's chicken). The dessert bar was well stocked and they have ice creams as well. The mango sorbet was the surprise hit of the night and my family went back for seconds (and thirds). It is good for large parties as well as for special occasions, though many people were dressed casually. Overall, this was a spot to go to if you're hungry and looking to eat at a fancier buffet. "I am a sucker for a restaurant that makes their own pie! Amarith Farmhouse was just the ticket. We had lunch there on Wednesday. The pies were on full display in the bakery case. They also offered fresh, house-made donuts!!!! It is almost like they planned the food they offer just for me! You can tell already that I really enjoyed my lunch, right? The service included a friendly counter girl, prompt delivery of everything we ordered accurately and quickly. The decor is very homey, and country-casual.My chicken avocado club sandwich was delicious and had plenty of bacon. The onion rings were light, crispy, hot, and perfection. My friend had the Philly cheesesteak. He really knows his cheesesteaks! He said that his was perfect, and he proved it by inhaling the delectable beauty in record time.I can't wait to eat here again! We had a half dozen donut holes as an appetizer while we awaited our order! YUM!!"
"We came in for lunch here. The food I ate was delicious. Enjoyed the yucca and chicharron appetizer plate. The pupusas were so good too. I think one of the best pupusas I've tasted. Our waitress Cindy was super friendly . Highly recommend!"

*Whose House? Tavern's House*First of all, I'd like to give props and commend the entire team for outstanding & friendly customer service. It's seems to be a lost art these days and Tavern House Kitchen has some serious game. From the way Alex handles phonecalls (heard a great Steely Dan song while on hold which never happens) to everyone in the entire house...and the awesome guys in the front yard navigating valet service. Also want to extend a round of applause to Amanda for going above & beyond. Because once I got home and realized I forgot a pair of glasses on our table? AMANDA-TO-THE-RESCUE. It was a busy Saturday night and our lovely waitress, Brie, was slammed, but she handled everything with style & grace at our cozy & quiet corner booth. And she worked with me throughout the evening, when I mentioned I'd be taking dinner to-go for wifey back at home. The buss team followed everyone's lead serving & clearing plates and making sure our h2o glasses remained full. One of my all-time favorite appetizers is Calamari, but prefer round rings & tentacles, so when I saw & read that THK serves flat pieces, I was a little apprehensive because it's usually tough & chewy -- which was not the case here. It was so soft & tender and the perfect consistency, I was able to cut some of the larger pieces in half with a fork. The spicy mayo style sauce was Fantastico too. My only gripe is it'd be nice to see a few more pieces of Calamari on homeplate -- especially when I opted to share some with my teammates ;-)I'm a sucker for Petrale Sole Almandine, and THK cooked up & served me some of THE very best. The portion size was plentiful and appreciated how they stacked the pieces of sole to lift & fuel my soul, because Patrale is a thinner grade of fish, and the thicker bites made my tastebuds & tummy feel right. I prefer roasted potatoes but their mashed pots were executed & prepared perfecto. And the green beans? They were extremely fresh, crisp and sweet. Some of my dining companions mentioned they thought it was "undercooked" but not me. I enjoy my green beans and veggies the most al dente. Everything on my plate was so damn good I didn't want it to end. Everyone else throughly enjoyed their dinners & Maine Lobster Bisques: Like Father like son ~~ Dad loved his Sole too :-)Stepmom & Dad's BF: Buttermilk Fried Chicken (THK's house special) which is not your typical comfort food here -- it's two big thick chicken breast cutlets, fried golden brown. I desperately wanted to ask for a bite but bit my lip to resist. Stepmom's BF: Salmon Salad was a very large and impressive center-cut that she enjoyed. The son of a BF: BBQ Spiced Salmon that was happily devoured before I was halfway done with my dinner. Last but not least...and rounding the bases, Wifey was deliciously delighted with her Petrale Sole too...and so was I the next day with the double-header left-overs :-) For dessert we all shared: {{{DRUMROLL PLEASE}}}THE Bananarama: Pecan Ice Cream, Candied Pecans, Toffee Crumbles, Banana Pastry Cream, Fresh Bananas, Salty Caramel Sauce. Believe it or not, it was not as SWEET as it sounds and it was tripleD-lish & OUTSTANDING period. It's like a banana cream pie caramel sundae. And it's a good thing there was 4 of us sharing this large dessert because I could've eaten more :-) And thankfully, 2 sat this one out -- but one ordered their own cheesecake and loved it.The lighting throughout the restaurant is just right and so is the causal decor & vibe. Our elevated booth was so comfy it's easy to dine & linger...and even though I wasn't paying much attention to the games on the flatscreen TV's, I glanced every now & then. Like a professional athlete who takes the time studying game films and their upcoming opponent, I researched & studied Tavern House Kitchen prior to the first pitch...and couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome and memorable dining experience with family & friends..and look forward to another trot around the bases with Wifey. {{{Big-High-Five}}}Walk-off Grandslam Fan for Life

I have visited The Corner frequently over the past decade and it continues to impress where other restaurants have failed as they age. Food quality has remained high, service remains stellar and the drinks are as good as ever. Perhaps this is a function of the owner not only remaining the constant, but also being involved behind the bar, in the kitchen, etc. Food wise, the menu is a mix of rotating seasonal items and several mainstays which have remained on the menu over the years. It's a great mix of something new when I'm feeling adventurous and the comfort of the items I know when I just want a good meal. Everything is made from scratch and with love. A couple favorites are the short rib tacos, ahi tostadas, burger and bacon wrapped dates.Drinks are great and super crafty - all the mixers are made in-house from what I can tell and the selection of booze is second to none. Prices have increased slightly, but still full below what I'd be paying elsewhere. Good beers on rotation as well. My favorites are the Old Fashioned and Clockwork Orange.Atmosphere is a mix between a trendy craft bar on one side and an intimate dining experience on the other. Can get a bit noisy at times, but I don't mind. There are a lot of places that talk about food quality and making things from scratch, but over time they will give way to profit margin and market pressure. From what I can tell, the owner at The Corner has stayed true to his mission from day one and continues to pump out scratch made good and craft cocktails at a reasonable price.

I have desired to visit A Restaurant for YEARS; it was a friend name-dropping the place that put it back on my radar. Wow, I love the old-school elegance, not only in its luxurious furnishings and atmosphere, but with their classy, first rate service. We were fortunate to land a seat at the bar top where we were privileged to be greeted and (mainly) served by Derrick, whose suave presence and warm welcome immediately made me feel at ease and having so much fun -- even before drink in hand!Love the classy-and-intimate, dimly-lit bar atmosphere; the food (attractive-in-presentation and delicious in taste), including the warm sourdough bread (with stylish ramekin of butter!); the elegant cocktails; the locals feel; and the excellent, personable service (thank you, Derrick and Jackie!). I definitely want to return, back to the bar top... very soon!

The tuna melt supreme goes hardddddd. it's definitely one of the best I ever had. you can go wrong with bacon and avocado on a sandwich. They didn't have french fries, at least on postmates they didn't, but they had home fries. I like them and it was a good sub but some crispy fries that can go with that sandwich would be so sick..

My wife and I met fellow yelpers Shawna C, Steven C, and Les S to celebrate Steven's birthday. This is honestly a great place to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cozy and upscale. You can park either in the nearby garage which the restaurant validates or you can valet park. When you walk in the door you're greeted by a mind blowing multi-story water feature on the wall. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor so you can either take the stairs or the elevator. Our reservation on Saturday was for 5:30pm which is great if you want a calmer quite atmosphere. We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves. By the time we left it was getting packed and energetic. To start our tabled shared the "Crispy Cauliflower". It was literally a head of cauliflower that our party of 5 couldn't finish. It was panko crusted and came with harissa aioli. I thought it was very flavorful and enjoyed it very much. I wouldn't get it if it's just two of you though since you'll be full after eating such a huge appetizer. Great value though for large party!I asked Steven what his favorite dish was and he recommended the Short Rib so that's what I had to try. It was a HUGE cabernet braised short rib placed onto a pile of blue cheese whipped potatoes. It was served with caramelized shallots, "chive crisps", and the best frickin brussells sprouts I've ever tasted. No knife needed, the meat was so tender it just fell apart with the slightest touch of my fork. So much blue cheese in the potatoes it was heavenly. Every bite of my dish was amazing and didn't anything behind. My wife's filet mignon on the other hand wasn't so good. It was really hard to believe it was a filet. It was tough, chewy, and full of sinew. Wouldn't recommend this. The sides though that came with it were good and she was able to salvage enough of her steak to be full. For dessert I had the "Eton Mess" which was seasonal berries, lemon curd, cassis, cinnamon, and meringue. I was expecting a boring dessert but I truly loved this dessert and would have ordered a second but the rest of the group would have judged me.The cocktails sound good but they were a bit uninspired and came out looking drab. Compared to other upscale restaurants they need to up their cocktail game. Strength wise though they did not skimp and I was buzzing pretty heavy after one drink so that makes up for it. Really enjoyed the food and company here and can't wait to return to try more stuff!

"My dog (yes dog friendly) and I popped in for a happy hour bite. I ordered the hummus and the cucumbers, but the waiter suggested I just combine them and save a buck. I got a lavender beer, it wasn't my fave but wasn't awful. Fun to try something new. I'm pretty basic and tend to find their food too fancy, but I enjoyed this visit. Sit outside and enjoy the view!"
"Hidden away on a quiet street, The Dock captures your attention right away as it is the only restaurant that is bright enough to be noticed. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by the host and a wall full of wine. The host takes you to the back where the salty air and smell of wine permeates the room. For those of you who like to be surrounded by the wading boats and laughter in the room, this is the place where you can forget your arguments and be truly present. Come and order a drink for the occasion. I got Endless Summer and truly, it was the last drink before the season changes again. As an appetizer, I got the octopus, a small dish where you'll still have room for more food. As the main entrees, I got the fish of the day and of course, the lamb. If you ever had lamb anywhere else, well, those restaurants cannot compare to this one at The Dock. The lamb was cooked nicely and without the gamey taste, which is my preference. I would go back here again for the location, good, and ambiance."
"Recently decided to visit 21 oceanfront, the place is extremely ambience, wonderful for a date night, the service was exceptional, I enjoyed an Asian pear salad, that they modified for me to make it vegan, it was delightful, my main entrée was the grilled cauliflower steak, which was exceptional, enjoyed a side of mushrooms & roasted asparagus both delicious , definitely will visit again"
"I recently visited Patrick Molloy's in Hermosa Beach and had a fantastic experience. The food was great, with every dish we tried hitting the mark. The quality and flavors were impressive, making it a memorable meal. The ambience of the place was also very nice. It has a vibrant and lively atmosphere, which adds to the overall dining experience. The decor and setup create a welcoming and enjoyable environment. One thing to note is that it can get quite crowded, which is a testament to its popularity. However, the crowd added to the lively vibe of the place, making it more energetic and fun.Overall, Patrick Molloy's is a great spot to enjoy delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. Whether you're out for a casual meal or a night out with friends, it's definitely worth a visit."
"Hidden rooftop gem in HB! The food is always delicious and we love how dog friendly the restaurant and hotel are! Our favorite brunch dishes were the Chilaquiles (decent spice level) and the Breakfast Burrito (looks boring in pics but was filled with deliciousness)! They also validate parking for two hours."
"This past holiday season, my wife and I decided that instead of cooking on Christmas, we would do a dine out. We got an email from Shade/Zinc saying that there were doing a dinner and we thought that would be fun! We're locals and have been there for happy hour and the food (and drinks) were always pretty good. When we made a reservation, we asked to be inside since it was a bit cold that day and it gets chilly and damp in MB at night. When we got there, the guy at the front started to seat us outside. Luckily, the manager was there and changed things for us back to the inside. When we sat down, the wait staff we had was a bit rushed (but at least nice). The menu was $95 for 3 courses (bread, salad, main and dessert). We ordered drinks (pretty good) and then had to wait a bit to order. When we were sitting there with our drinks, we noticed that it was pretty cold inside. People were all wearing jackets - including us. Why? Both entry doors were propped open creating a nice cold breeze. We asked the waitstaff to please consider closing at least one of the doors and they said they would "try". Sigh.Next, the food came out. Bread was meh and the salad was miniscule. When the mains came, at that point I asked for another cocktail. My wife had the polenta (didn't finish) and I had one of the meat dishes. Pretty unforgettable and a bit tough (I can't even remember what it was lol). once we finished the main, the wait person came back and said my cocktail was on the way. I had them cancel it since it was so late in arriving. For dessert I has the cake popsicles (3 tiny ones). The dessert reminded us of what we could get at Peet's Coffee. Sigh. At this point, they finally closed the entry doors, nearly 90 minutes later. Maybe the baby in a carriage bundled up in blankets in the middle of the dining area got it done. It was a very funny Christmas experience. We laughed quite a bit on the way home."
"I'm not typically a fancy food type of guy, so places like this are usually off my radar. But my friend wanted to surprise me with a dinner place, so there I was!PARKING:There's a parking structure where you can park - be sure to validate! It was free for us, but I'm seeing other reviewers say they still had to pay so I guess it only covers a portion of it. But for a quick dinner, we made it out in time.WHAT I ORDERED:Brussels sproutsKnife & fork burgerPicanhaTHE FOOD: Brussels are a MUST! From the first bite, we knew this was going to be a good dining experience. The glaze and bacon made it so addicting. Though I do have to say the brussels here are a little bit more well done than some other places, so if you don't like crispy and some burnt parts, it might be a pass. The knife and fork burger was delicious - the toppings made the burger so luxurious, and the onions were very unique. The picanha was nice and tender, and I can totally see myself ordering that again. Fries were pretty standard, nothing unique, but solid.SERVICE:Our server was SUPER attentive and friendly, and food came out quick. He was more than willing to help us choose what to order - perfect for us undecisive folks.VIBES:Definitely fancy and I would dress up at least a little, but it was still comfy enough for me to walk in with my Crocs on. I can imagine coming back here for a birthday dinner or a date night for sure.BOTTOM LINE:Honestly, I wouldn't say this place blew my mind, but pretty solid dinner spot!"
"Would give this place an 1000/5 stars if possible! If you're looking for a poke spot with fresh fish and good portions, this is where to go! Their poke bowls are worth what you pay for :)"
"I've passed this place countless times and finally decided to give it a go. I had dinner at Truxton's for the first time tonight (07/12/2024), and it will not be my last. The service, the food and the experience were really solid. Our waiters was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. She answered our questions with enthusiasm. The salads (see pictures) were EXCELLENT. For sports fans, they have televisions inside."
"Fantastic place for lunch. Great beer servings and great burritos! Not to mention the exceptionally clean bathroom. Omg this place is the best."
"I've lived in the area for years and never been here until the other day. Met up with friends for breakfast. We sat out on the patio. It was nice, but we fought bugs throughout our visit, who decided to fly in the one area that wasn't covered... a nuisance, but that's nature for you. We ordered the French toast and sausage, chicken fried steak and eggs and a kids pancake plate with fries. I tried to pick something healthier, but our server said the chicken fried steak was new to the menu, so I ordered it, since I'm a sucker for this dish. I got the gravy on the side, just in case I didn't like it. It was actually very tasty. I wish they would've given a bigger side of it, as it was tiny and only enough for about half the chicken. I would have asked the server for more, but she rarely came around. In all, we enjoyed our food. The ambiance was nice outside. The weather was perfect and the patio is really cute. We did have to wait quite awhile for the server to come back and check on us, so we could ask for the check. We thought she'd be back to take it, but nope...we had to flag someone else down to take our payment. That definitely prolonged our visit when we were ready to go. I need to try to more on their menu, specifically lunch or dinner. I did order clam chowder to go and boy, it hit in the right spot! Delicious! I was happy to find they serve it everyday, rather than on the usual clam chowder day; Fridays."
"Fun Vibes, Excellent Service & Stunning Presentation! Nico's is the perfect mix of fun, energy, and top-tier service! From the moment you walk in, the upbeat ambience sets the tone--great music, stylish decor, and just the right amount of buzz. Whether you're grabbing drinks with friends or hosting a private dinner, this place nails the vibe. The service? Impeccable. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The drinks? Crafted to perfection. And the presentation? Absolutely stunning. Every dish that hits the table is beautifully presented. If you're looking for a spot with great energy, amazing service, and Insta-worthy presentation, this is it. Can't wait to come back!"
"Most expensive and most delicious Halibut Fish and Chips I've had in a long time. It normally comes with cod but you can upcharge to halibut. It is so tender and flavorful! The place is a fancy bar attached to the Original Fish Company. I believe it shares the same kitchen."
"This is probably the best value and best quality food in the Star Wars area at Disneyland. Both the Endorian Fried Chicken & Tip-Yip, and the Felucian Kefta Garden Spread were really good! I couldn't tell those meatballs were vegan. The Batuuan Beef Pot Roast and Fried Chicken Baos were really good too! The Black Cald Cold Brew - It's just water-downed ice coffee with Cocoa-Puffs: not worth the money. The interior is cool and makes you feel like you're part of the Star Wars theme. TIP: Know the menu prior to coming so you're prepared on what to order. If you don't know what exactly to order, you might feel pressured because people behind you have been waiting long. When you arrive, have someone save a table while you wait in line."
"Tried Main Chick Hot Chicken and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Chicken Sandwich with medium spice, and it was packed with flavor and just the right level of heat--anyone wanting spicier must be asking for pain!Ordering was easy. They have a kiosk, but a friendly young lady took my order in person, which was a nice touch. The place also offers tap payment, which I appreciated since some other spots nearby were no cash. The only downside was the outdoor seating. It was super cold, and while they had several heaters, none were on. Thankfully, the heat from the chicken helped keep me warm enough.Overall, great food, good service, and I'll definitely be back!"
"I love Alders & Sage, the food is great and the atmosphere is so beautiful and lovely. I love the look both inside and outside. The service is good, even when it's busy. They still manage to get everything on time to your table. Prices are what you expect for a restaurant like this in Long Beach. For a part of two, you can expect anywhere from $40-$70 dollars depending on what you order and drinks, and a tip. Overall, I always keep coming back to this business and being my friends just because of how much I enjoy it. 10/10"
"My favorite pizza place! We order from The Pizza Bakery almost every single Friday night. It is one of my favorite rituals during the week. There is so much care and love put into all the food. It is a true local, family owned business. Everything is made with such quality, the salad dressings, the garlic knots, the brownies, the sauce...What makes The Pizza Bakery truly stand out is it's commitment to customer service. In all the years I have ordered from them, recently there was a small glitch with my order ( first time ever) and they went above and beyond to take care of it. It was thoughtful and greatly appreciated. I will happily continue to order from The Pizza Bakery, this is a business that I am proud to support!"
"-We order fried rice and bacon burger, it was very satisfying, super yummy, large quantity, each plate only being 11 bucks!! totally recommend. - our waiter was a sweetheart- inside the place is a little small but it's very welcoming"
"With so many places to eat around Disneyland, Royal Street Veranda can sometimes be overlooked. This quick-service spot offers clam chowder, plant-based chili, and unique seasonal snacks--solid 3.75 star, a-ok rating for me. As of February 2025, the breakfast menu includes the popular Waffle Cristo (in full and half orders), seasonal snacks, and beverages. For lunch and dinner, entrées include clam chowder or plant-based chili in a sourdough bread bowl, seasonal items, kids' meals, and non-alcoholic beverages. The snack-size Mardi Gras Monte Cristo was delicious and comforting, perfect for one person or to share with a friend. The sourdough bread bowls can be a hit or miss. Although I have had fresh bread in the past, the bread in my recent order was cold and stale. Also, the price is the same whether you get the chowder or chili with or without the bread bowl. I think you'd get more soup in a regular bowl. I'll have to verify that next time. They sometimes charge extra for the little dipping sauce or extra jam cups. It would have been nice to include it with the items. There is one window for walk-up ordering and one for pickup, including mobile orders. Mobile ordering is the way to go and save time. Magic Key discounts also apply. There are a few tables available at RSV but they can be crowded. You can also walk over to Tiana's Palace, Harbour Galley, or Stage Door Cafe (next to River Belle Terrace) for additional tables and breathing room.Note: I prefer the clam chowder at Aunt Cass's in DCA. ;)"
"A hidden gem in Disneyland! This is a wonderful place to eat a fancy-ish dinner for a reasonable price. After a long day at Disney, we wanted a nice dinner but we didn't want to pay downtown Disney prices. Since we were staying at the Four Points hotel, we decided to walk back and give it a try. We didn't have high expectations given it was a hotel restaurant. However, once we arrived around 6pm we were instantly seated. I was hangry so this made me so happy. We ordered coconut shrimp as an app, lobster ravioli and short rib for our entrees. The appetizer came out right away probably within 5 min. It was freshly fried, and delicious. Highly recommend! Lobster ravioli - HEAVENLY. I am a lobster fanatic and the dish was super rich and creamy, with hints of flavorful lobster pieces inside. It also had some tender shrimp (not listed in the description) which was a nice add on protein. Brownie Sundae - I mentioned to the server there was a check in offer, and I was offered a free dessert. I chose the brownie sundae (because chocolate and ice cream duh) and it was really good! Super warm and rich, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I preferred that the brownie would've been more fudgey instead of cakey, but my husband liked the chocolate flavor a lot. TLDR: if you don't want to be hangry for dinner after Disneyland and want a nice fancy dinner with food service, head here at dinner hour and you'll be impressed!"
"Walked in on a warm Saturday evening at 6:30, most tables inside were empty and there were two tables open outside. Kind of strange for dinnertime on a Saturday but then again, the whole Riviera scene was similar. Maybe a sign of the economy.Food was average to slightly above average. One dinner was scallops over roasted veggies, the other was grilled chicken on a salad. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere is great for people watching. Very clean surroundings. Two entrees, two drinks (one each) and the tab was $92.00, ugh. Add in a $20.00 tip and you get the picture. But again, it seems to be the sign of the times."
"We tried the Texas omelette and the country omelette, both of which were delicious. The hash browns were also tasty. The food truly lived up to the name of the place, Small Cafe. Our waitress provided exceptional service and had a wonderful energy about her. We will definitely be returning!"
"Stayed at the hotel, so that some of the best damn chicken I've ever had and I'm from the south AND it wasn't fried so that's telling you somethingHighly recommend the Brick chicken entrée, staff was attentive and courteous"
