"Are you searching for a sexy spot to take a date? This restaurant and bar is definitely a place that provides a sexy ambiance for a date night out. Located in the heart of downtown Downey, the restaurant is on a corner, which is close to street parking and walking distance from a parking garage (free). The restaurant menu offers creative items to choose from that allow for a delectable delight with satiating every taste bud. We ordered the tuna roll with cream cheese, which was delicious. Hookah is also provided in a unique fashion. The lounge is surrounded by a patio that only always electric Hookah. This machine is beautiful and interesting to look at. I prefer the traditional Hookah over the electric Hookah."
"It is a very cute and trendy restaurant. It is the perfect spot for work meeting or just getting together with friends. It is a nice spot for your first date, anniversary and wedding. Their drinks are strong. I like the whiskey and you can have it smoke. Their bartender is nice and I like to sit closer to the bar. The food portions are huge their clam chowder is a must try. I also like their steak the lobster. The strawberry salads is fruity and delicious. Don't forget to try their house made dessert. Parking is free in the parking structure. I highly recommended this spot for a night out."
"This Entire hotel is absolutely Beautiful from top to bottom and phenomenal customer from pulling up to Valet to all departments you are warmly welcomed & greeted & acknowledge by far such exceptional customer service & hospitality. We came here to enjoy the roof top bar/ restaurant/ lounge area upstairs . They do have lunch & happy hour specials along with music on Fri & Sat from 7pm-midnight . I honestly wanted to check out the view .. but since it was Xmas themed it was covered in an igloo due to weather conditions. It was just decorated so festive with holiday decor & they had fake snow and there were so many great area you can hang out with plush cushioned couches with pillows & warm blankets & fire place . Overall the servers were pleasant & food was great ... and the atmosphere was mixed crowd from different age groups very hipster / casual . I would definitely like to come back again when the seasons change . But I'd highly recommend this hotel with all its excellent amenities. Definitely worth the visit to dine in and chill & grab a drink and appetizers or staying in to relax or whatever you are comfortable with definitely hands down the best experience no matter the caliber . Yes , to valet your vehicle it makes it so much easier and they will validate your ticket ."
"Don't let my 3-star rating mislead you--Streamliner Lounge isn't bad. However, nothing really wowed me, and I wouldn't choose to come here on my own.My colleagues and I arrived around 6 PM on a Friday. There were about 20 of us, and we were seated within 10 minutes, which was impressive for a large group. We ordered all the appetizers, and I managed to try all but one. Although I didn't catch our server's name, she was sweet and clearly did her best to accommodate us, along with her other tables.Spicy Fried Cauliflower: 4/5Probably my favorite of the bunch. Light, airy, and flavorful, with a surprising crispness that held up even after sitting out.Mini Street Tacos (pork): 2.5/5Pretty dry. The flavor wasn't really there, but they were passable.Slider Duo: 2.5/5These were your typical sliders--nothing to write home about. The fries, however, were pretty good and had a great crisp.Sriracha BBQ Wings: 4/5Good flavor! They were almost too salty for me, but I still enjoyed them.Buffalo Wings: 4/5A classic buffalo wing. They might not be the best you've ever had, but they'll satisfy your craving.Overall, if you're looking for a "traditional" American dining experience, Streamliner Lounge could be a good choice. My preference leans more towards ethnic foods, which might explain why I wasn't overly impressed. But if traditional American fare is your thing, you'll likely enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere, live music, and (decent) food."
"Tamarind wings are fire if you have not heard. The rumors are true. Tangy wings. Ordered a dozen just to have with my old fashioned. Theb only downside on this visit--the bar is out of cherries. Whhhhhhhhhhy.... !?!?!"
"WOW! Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Would even rate it 15 out of 10.I've ordered the Beef & Pork Belly Skewers, Egg Fried Rice, Pork Short Rib Noodle Soup, and Small Glutinous Rice Balls from here and EVERY single dish here far exceeded every expectation I've had. I've been struggling to find good authentic Chinese food in the area that meet my standards, but this restaurant completely hit the nail on the head. Everything tastes exactly like all the amazing Chinese dishes I had growing up and reminds me so much of home! Not to mention the portion sizes and prices are very good.My heart and stomach are always full after eating from here. Will be supporting this restaurant over and over again!"
"We are back w friends of mine this time to celebrate my anniversary and Christmas. I told my friends about the breakfast quality and flavors when we experienced the foods in February for my B day. There are lots of people waiting for the tables during holiday season. Busy busy everywhere outdoor pool area, the VIEW restaurant, and Edge bar.I planned to have dinner just husband and I on Sunday. The menu is quite simple. Not much selections for the dinner but I liked croquettes w gruyère as an appetizer, then chose rigatoni bolonaise for the entrée.It took lots of time to have our first appetizer. I was starving to the death after swimming. Not many chefs are working at night????Sooooo slow! But the croquettes were so tasty, crunchy, full of potatoes w gruyère cheese. Loved! For the rigatoni, obviously took a long time....I asked the staff when can I have our rigatoni bolonaise.Wow!!! So slow!!!However, rigatoni was well cooked, flavorful, well balanced w brocollinis. That was our dinner experience on Sunday.Next morning we planned to have breakfast together at 10:15. Waiting for the party of 4. I noticed immediately the breakfast menu was updated. I wanted the same Denver Omelette but not anymore on the menu, replaced w omelette Lorraine. For me, I am ok to take other omelettes as long as the omelette w ham, bacon, cheese, and some veggies including tomatoes. My friends and my hubby had the same 2 eggs, sausages, wheat breads w regular coffee. They all said so fresh and good.Thank God!! They liked the breakfast at the VIEW. I recommended this restaurant so many times. To be honest, last time I had wheat breads in my omelette plate. And French marmalade and Fraise (raspberry) confitures were on the table.I couldn't find any preserves on the table this time. No where.... nothing.I asked the server, can I get the French preserves like orange marmalade many times.Wow!!!I can't think about the Tartine without the butter and preserve in the morning. So weird!!Overall, the foods were good but I wanted to have the same Denver Omelette, wheat breads w orange marmalade.I know the menu is always changed, updated by season, but almost same ingredients to cook the omelette. I have no idea....only one option for the omelette. Why???I didn't ask for the wheat breads but should come together w omelette thou. When I recommend some restaurants, I was so happy about the foods, services, then I wanted to come again to try my fave foods.Hopefully the menu will be added Denver Omelette w breads, of course, French or English preserves too."
"cannot stress what a lovely experience I had at this hookah lounge. the owner GG is truly a gem, very accommodating, kind, & hospitable. the quality of the hookah was amazing & he has over 100 flavors (which he was very enthusiastic about)10/10 will come here every time. SUPER chill, perfect environment, thanks GG"
"Came here for a friend's birthday party in which he rented it out for 150 plus friends and family. It was open bar with bar food type snacks. The drinks were good, not too strong which was fine because we were there to socialize. The seating was comfortable with booths lined against the wall area. The bartender was attentive considering he was only one person in which he was able to get to everyone's drink quickly. My only gripe was no toilet paper in the restrooms with drinking alcohol it's only natural that more trips to the restroom will happen! The DJ music was extremely loud and with the disco colored lights flashing lights you can trigger a migraine if your susceptible, so beware. But, overall great experience and still enjoyable!"
"The taste and atmosphere are wonderful, and I appreciate the staff's kindness. The seafood nurungji soup is rich in flavor, featuring shrimp, flower crab, and mussels. I crave it again today!"
"My friend and I had the most wonderful dining experience here! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hostess with a bright smile and a glass of complimentary champagne while we waited for our table. The restaurant was beautifully adorned with bouquets of fresh flowers, really elegant! We ordered the following to share: sake glazed fish, sushi taco, and chicken lettuce wraps. The food presentation, quality, and taste were superb. I highly recommend this restaurant!"
"Place was ambient and surprisingly relaxing. The service by Juan is Juan in a Million, lol.He was attentive and helpful! If and when I want to enjoy some hookah, this is the only place I'd come."

Best taquitos we've ever had, and their house Margaritas are delicious! This restaurant is located right next door to the Grove theater. It has a huge bar, beautiful ambiance, and the service was great! It's also walking distance from Angel Stadium.

I recently visited the Streamliner Lounge and tried their hobo chili, which paired nicely with a refreshing red ale. The combination was perfect for a cozy night out. The loaded taters were absolutely addictive--you can't just have one! On the other hand, my wife's southwest chicken salad was just okay; it didn't particularly stand out.Service was adequate. Not busy but it felt like we may have been forgotten for a bit. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd definitely return for the chili and taters.

This spot recently opened near me in what used to be a pho restaurant. They've got a massive menu, serve beer and wine, and if you're feeling fancy, you can bring your own bottle for a $20 corkage fee.Oh if you sign up for their free membership, you get 5% cash back on every visit to use next time, a nice little perk. You scan the QR code for the menu and order on your phones. Let's start with the skewers. I've tried both the beef and the octopus, and honestly? Not a fan. The beef was way too fatty for me....nothing against fat, I just don't vibe with the texture. The octopus? Meh. Wouldn't order it again. Also, a major miss for me: no chicken breast skewers, only innards and dark meat, neither of which I eat. Now, onto the stir-fried lettuce which, fun fact, is not actually lettuce. We think it's heart of palm, but honestly, who knows? A classic case of city folks struggling to identify vegetables in their pre-supermarket and pre-restaurant form. Whatever it is, though, it's delicious.I also tried the clam vermicelli twice! 1st time, amazing. 2nd time? A completely different dish. Was a bit miffed about that. And then there were the ice tomatoes. Oh. My. God. I love tomatoes, but this was the first time I met one I wouldn't eat. Picture cold tomatoes buried under a mountain of sugar. An acquired taste? Maybe. A taste I want to acquire? Absolutely not. Still confused why this even exists. All in all, I've been here 3 times, and I'd come back but would definitely google some of the dishes I've never had before ordering. At least the 5% cash back takes some of the sting out of my tomato trauma.

Came here for breakfast while staying at the hotel. Sat outside overlooking the poolAnd ocean. Ordered coffee and breakfast. Greek yogurt bowl with granola and fruit was very good. Eggs breakfast was good. Hash browns were especially good. Avocado toast with an egg was exceptional. Prices typical of a hotel restaurant. Service was very good as well.

This was a fantastic experience! The ambience was beautiful, although you would not expect it from the parking lot. The interior room has a lot of great blue light, the patio house has adorable porch lights!I felt safe here, I wasn't being harassed with my friends. There was a lot of space in order to have private conversations. The service was wonderful. The owner helped us pick the kind of Shisha that we wanted. Even the hookahs have their own cute little iron so the ash does not get into the Shisha. The price of a hookah is reasonable! Please note that there is a maximum of three people per hookah at 29.99. There are chips and other kinds of dry goods. I wish hummus had been available however, I don't think they have a kitchen. I will certainly be visiting again.

"Visiting LA and saw that I had this place stored in my favorites list without remembering why I had in my list. Decided to go there and check it out anyway. Experience, as described to an Angeleno friend, is as follows:I just remembered why I had No Vacancy on my favorites list. This is why!! Legit speakeasy. Solid 10/10. Dad was blows away by the entrance. We had to feel our way through the three doors at the entrance and figure out which one actually opened to let us in. Then, a lady sitting coyly on a bed welcomes us and gives the usual speakeasy background story and presses a button and voila! A hidden staircase opens up. Dad was blown away and was clapping all the way as we entered the speakeasy"
"For the record, this is NOT a rooftop lounge; it's simply located on a high floor with views of the DTLA skyline. It is open-air in some sections but it's very limited. I came here for a friend's birthday and while the club itself is nice, the tables are small and exposed - it simply isn't worth the thousands you're paying for a table along with service. I think I'll stick to Time or Exchange."
"Great place to meet up with friends for dinner. There are 2 entrances. They allow dogs in their outdoor section.Parking is a little meh because it's street parking in a busy part of Downtown Fullerton, but you'll find something eventually.Food was pretty good overall and their menu has a lot of variety to it. Service was super friendly, especially with our dog!"
"My friend took me here for my birthday and wow, it was very nice good vibes. they came out with sparklers. Singing me. Happy birthday, so cool. The food was delicious The steak was out of this world. They have a lounge area with couches& a back area if you want to smoke, which I don't, but I wanted fresh air, just a little too smoky out there, so I had to go back inside, other than that everything was top-notch, there's service and the atmosphere was off the chain. And I don't even want to talk about the DJ he was playing all party jams, just a nice variety the place is a touch pricey, but which place isn't pricey nowadays, but because the quality was so amazing. I really didn't mind paying. I can't wait to go back"
"Friends and I came for happy hour and a hang out. At 3:15 the place was still empty- though it filled up by 4 or 4:30.The service was outstanding. Even as the staff prepped the bar and restaurant, they checked on us regularly to make sure we had drinks filled, etc.We ordered the flautas, sweet potato fries, chips & salsa, and later on a supreme pizza. For happy hour food, the quality and taste were amazing! We were all happy with the items. Excellent food, great service, we'll definitely be back!"
"My coworkers and I have been planning a night out of country line dancing for quite some time and then, it finally happened! This place was recommended by a friend of a friend. This was my first time here but ironically, I pass this place three nights a week on my way to work. Located in Triangle Square, you won't find issues with free parking either in the structure or across the street. You enter through the double doors directly below the amazingly huge American flag. The interior is warmly lit at night but open and airy nonetheless. We arrived a little after 8pm on a Thursday evening, so we ordered food and drinks while awaiting the dining area to be converted to the dance floor. Order up:1. Duck Wings, which were quite tender, prepared Korean style with gochujang, topped with sesame seeds, and garnished with fresh herbs. 2. Western Burger, with wagyu beef which my coworker enjoyed just as much. 3. Drop the Beet was our drink of choice, which was refreshing. All in all, we enjoyed our food and drinks even though their prices were comparable to those on the Las Vegas Strip...LOL! By the time we finished eating, it was perfect timing to burn off some calories and dance! Cheers and happy eating till next time!"
"Decent venue, nothing fancy, but is affordable, sometimes you can snag a spot on the street near by, they have cool acts and events. I am surprised I never reviewed it since I have been going to the Echo for over 10 years for concerts, NYE parties and always had a good time. The crowd is OK, bathrooms clean enough, drinks are reasonably priced.I like their DJ-s and their sets, really fun and gets you on that dance floor. I prefer small venues like the Echo, more intimate, with more character, edgier! Keep your eyes on their Events calendar!"
"I went here for a birthday party. It had a nice ambiance and the food blew me away. I was not expecting it to be that good, will come back soon for a nice sit-down dinner."
"Been coming here for a while with my roomie when we feel like dancing, so thought I'd share some tips/thoughts. The vibes for the place is a lot like a house party. Depending on the DJ, it's a great place to go dancing, but on other nights, it feels more like a kickback and everyone's standing around. Music ranges from 90s/2010s throwback hip-hop and R&B music. Occasionally they sprinkle in throwback pop music, white girl anthems, and top 100 music. Only giving the place 3 stars because I wish the music were more consistent. An occasional relaxed song is great, but when you're in the mood to dance and that's all they're playing, it can be frustrating. Especially when the line gets long to get inside. But if the DJ is playing dance hits, it's a great time! Tips:- Friday and Saturday are always packed and busy- Park in the Whole Foods parking garage and validate your parking with the ladies in the front- Line starts forming around 10pm and will take 40 minutes to an hour to get in - Tables start at $500 minimum - Drinks range from $15-$20- During the colder months, they blast the heat inside. I'd avoid heavy coats because the body heat combined with their space heaters can make it really hot - Bars on the inside sell water bottles only and they're on the expensive side. Bar on the balcony gives free water - You're going to be packed in pretty tight. Especially if you're hanging out on the balcony. If you don't like having any room to move at some points in the night, I would avoid coming here"
"Wow, what an absolutely fabulous Mother's Day dinner! The view is unparalleled, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the service was spot-on. We had a Caesar salad, the rosé, the salmon entree, the fish n chips, the crème brûlée, and the cinnamon apple tart. Each thing was delicious on its own, and combined it all made for an exquisite meal. Our server, Stacey, was friendly and attentive, as were the bus staff. The salad was large enough to share and very zesty. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a delicious sauce. The fish n chips had 4 big pieces of perfectly breaded, flaky, delicious fish. And the 'chips' - one of a kind! Uniquely spiral cut, crunchy potato rings. Nice, dry rosé (Hampton Water). And the desserts! Oh my. Save room. One of the best creme brûlée's I've ever had. And it's on the QM! What could be better? Staring out over the beautiful ocean, marina, and downtown skyline.I only regret that it's taken me so long to come here, but I will definitely be back. :)"
"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pelican Hills Grill in Newport Beach, and once again it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The interior is beautifully designed, with elegant decor that creates a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. The view of the coastline from the outside dining area is absolutely stunning, making it the perfect spot for a memorable meal. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was beyond delicious. We started with half a dozen of the raw Oysters and Crab Cake, both were fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I had their wood fire baked Pizza, which was very yummy. The BF had the Risotto which was packed with flavors. It was slightly undercooked but our server, Fletcher, was quick to make things right by offering to bring us a new one. The presentation of each dish was impeccable. The service from Fletcher was outstanding. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience, and it really showed.Overall, Pelican Hills Grill is a true gem in Newport Beach. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a great meal with a view, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to return!#PelicanHillsGrill #NewportBeach #DiningWithAView #DeliciousEats"
"I love this place, bro. This place is great, bro.I like music, and bro, let me tell you bro, it sounds great here, bro. Thanks bro"
"Very few times have I been impressed with the variety of good drinks a bartender can make. The bartender here, Goldie is knowledgeable and knows what she is doing. The ambiance is near perfect. They play a mix of new music and old school. Besides all that I've mentioned I must also add tha the staff here is quick to help you and serve you."
"TLDR: I've been at Sea Level twice & I would only tell people to try it at least. They're inconsistent with how they season their food and yes, the food is def overpriced but it's beach cities prices plus everything is overpriced nowadays. Also, service IS slow even though restaurant is practically empty. But it could be a great date spot. Serene, intimate with views, and decent food. It sucks that they dont validate valet though. Grilled Octopus & Crispy Potato - MVP during 2nd visit. Must try. Octopus was cooked to perfection but the season on the potatoes were saltier than normal.Spicy tuna crispy rice - worth trying. It's hella overprice but try it during happy hour. I LOVED it during the 1st visit but the 2nd visit was lacking in flavor. Tuna was fresh tho, cut into small chunks instead of the finely chopped tuna like its been blended. Rice was fried nicely, not too hard not too soft. Pepperoni Pizza - lol I know. Dont judge. Great the 1st time since it had great balance between sauce, cheese, and topping. But the 2nd visit was again lacking in flavor. It lowkey tasted better after eating it a day later. Vanilla Latte - Lol their coffee is actually pretty good. If I'm nearby, I would definitely pop in for a latte.Sea Level Burger w/ Truffle Fries - Cooked perfectly but under seasoned. I err on the side of light seasoning so for me to say their patty needs to be seasoned is a statement. We tried other items during the 1st visit like one of their specials, some of their steak dishes, and the sourdough. Their steak dishes were pretty good, cooked perfectly to your preference + nicely seasoned (not salty!)."
"Went here for a girls night and i absolutely adored the ambiance and vibe of this place. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, i felt like i was visiting my friend's home. We had 5 different cocktails and i was blown away by each one!! Each drink is crafted with passion and perfection. Their cocktails are amazing, but don't sleep on their delicious food. We devoured the guac/ceviche and the rack of lamb. The unique twists and out of the box foods are definitely worth trying! Such a wonderful and fun experience, definitely can't wait to go back."
"Stopped here for the first time this past Friday. Had some fries which were really good. Tried their spicy shrimp and rice plate and man was that delicious !! The spicy sauce had some really good flavor and just the right amount of spice ! I had a couple of their hibiscus Margarita BEST drink. I kept ordering them, perfectly sweet and perfectly strong Service was quick and our waitress was friendly ! It's a pretty cool spot! Will definitely want to return !"
"This spot is jumping! Byob?! Nice! We enjoyed a fun night of smoking our choice... lots of flavors to choose from. Pretty waitresses, hip music, friendly staff. Check it out."
"Friendly service and fun karaoke. A very neighborhood kind of bar.I will come back and so should you"
"Overall, I enjoyed my time at this club. The music was mostly older pop hits, and I think the DJ had fun and interesting mixes. Big fan of the light up floor. The drinks were expensive and nothing special. I'd say the crowd was mostly 20s and 30s, straight people, no egregious behavior but still a fairly expected level of men violating personal boundaries."
"We LOVE this place. It's our weekly treat! Adrianna surprises us with her choice hookah of the night. On top of that the BBQ of the FAMILY OWNED restaurant is FIRE!!!!!!! We look forward to this spot every week. Excellent service. Spacious - outdoor and indoors."
"Loved everything about this place. $55 for a concert ticket, plus the food and drinks in this elegant supper club, was a very well received birthday present for my wife. Good sight lines and sound and superior service throughout. Sipping a martini while listening to jazz in a supper club line this is a true treat. The drinks were good, as was the aji tower with toast points. Perfect for a couple or a couple of couples."
"If you're looking for a place to hangout on the weekend this is a good place to be. There is always a DJ & LIVE music. Christine rocks, she's the bar manager & her staff is very accommodating. The drinks are great and at a reasonable price. Be ready to pay a cover charge which isn't much. It Rangers from $5-$15. Make sure to visit their website as there is also big name bands who also play at this venue/bar."
