"TL; DR - good service, decently priced, decent fried food... but beware of overwhelming nasty sewage/ammonia smell coming from the bathrooms that made for a hella smelly experience. Not coming back here until they get that fixed. We came here to celebrate my sister's birthday on a Saturday night and got assigned room 9 which was right next door to the bathrooms. I'm not sure the issue, but the bathrooms reeked of sewage and stagnant urine/ammonia that filled the hallway and our karaoke room. I even bumped into the lady who worked there spraying potpourri in the hallway, which confirmed the existence of that smell. They could not accommodate us in an alternative room so we had to make do. We kept the door closed as much as we could and used up half of my sister's perfume, but once they turned on the A/C, that stink had a direct path into our room. The ambiance (minus the horrid stink) would've been good, but the fact that they serve food with half of the establishment smelling like sewage is a red flag. I hope they get their sh*t together, literally because being exposed to that toxic air for a prolonged time made a few folks from our group nauseous. The karaoke room we got was advertised to hold 20-25 people, but it was a bit cramped because of the long, narrow configuration of the room. The workers were nice enough to provide us with some extra padded stools for folks to sit on. Disco ball, small projected lighting, and tambourines to hit added to the fun (and helped us briefly forget of the stench). Lots of songs to choose from in the book; this place does not use Youtube like other karaoke places I've been to, which was nice. Parking lot is small, but there are additional spaces in the back and on the street. Food options was a mix of Korean appetizers and fried food (we opted for fries and popcorn chicken)."
"At first I was a bit hesitant to walk in because it seemed empty. However, it was amazing! They played regional Mexican music. We asked the server if they can play the Dodgers game and they did! The menu is mostly Mexican food, but I still ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and it did not disappoint! 10/10."
"Beautiful restaurant and very warm service! :)My siblings and I came to dine here tonight and we ordered the egg rolls, spring rolls, fried tofu and garlic fries for appetizers. Everything was delicious and had different flavors. Each dish had its own sauces which they served to our tables and explained which goes with which :)Next, we ordered five phos, two of the phos with filet mignon and brisket. The meat was soooo tender and delicious! We all loved the broth! It's always nice to find a pho place whose broth is fresh and not oily. We also ordered a fried rice. It tasted really nice, but it was dry :') We ended up putting our pho broth on it, but it was still good. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who lives in the area. We all live in different cities, but if we come back to Garden Grove for pho, it would definitely be here at 99999.Again, stellar service from everyone here at the restaurant! Thank you :D"
"Fun place to hangout with great food and service. I like to meet up with friends and watch a game of their tv or just eat and chill. My goto bar and grill"

"We just had the pleasure of enjoying a fabulous dinner with 3 friends tonight. Three of us ordered the prime rib which was perfection and my wife ordered the grilled shrimp and really enjoyed it.We also ordered a chocolate cake and a carrot cake to share, delicious. The chocolate cake is off the charts. Our server was the best, he had the patience of Jobe with me because I'm the slowest eater in town.Cheers to the San Franciscan, still a great experience. See you soon."
"1st visit.Chill bar & lounge.Love the sound of the music.Bartender, Trish is awesome.I'll be coming back soon.Thank you for the good vibes.Highly recommended bar lounge"
"This place was featured in Bar Rescue but I havent seen the episode. I went before and after the renovations and it doesnt appear to have changed too much. This is definitely a dive bar , and the owner Lona is active in chatting with the clients as well as running the place. The first time, i was served some sort of cucumber shot/drink that was delicious. This time I actually took another friend here. I believe I asked for the wrong drink but oh my god that drink was a heavy heavy pour! Instead of cucumber I ordered cactus and it was delicious. We got a drink and a shot and by the third round we were done. Also met a friendly local at the bar and she brought us shots. Did not taste the food. The jukebox had some blasting tunes. There was also a makeshift dance floor and pool tables so people were all enjoying themselves. Park on the street or in the neighborhood. There are a number of dive bars on this street. No to limited parking on site"
"I found their instagram page and the food looked amazing, so we decided to try them out for lunch. They're located in a small strip mall; the kind of place people might drive on by, but definitely stop in for some good food! We went New Year's Day, making sure we paid attention to their special hours. Walking in, it looks like a club, not a restaurant. I can only imagine how lit this place is at night and on weekends. The walls are painted black with neon murals painted all over. It was fairly empty and they had bachata loudly playing on one tv and a game on another. It's definitely screams a club atmosphere, but with a restaurant inside. Yeni greeted us and came over and took our order. I ordered a small carnitas taco, since carnitas are my favorite. The meat was tender and flavorful. Exactly what I expected it to be. We also ordered the combination fajitas and the 3 mole enchiladas plate. Everything was so delicious! The rice and beans really caught our attention. It's not always that I enjoy the rice and beans, but theirs was really good! Everything was seasoned well and piping hot when it came out. Their chips and salsa were also good! We bought some to take home, along with a to-go order of shrimp ceviche. We will for sure be back to try more on their menu! Very glad we tried them out!"
"I came here Saturday night for a concert and I really liked this venue/Bar.For parking if you get here early and are lucky there is a small lot with parking spaces. If not it looks like there is street parking. As mentioned on their website DO NOT park in the auto zone parking lot. You will get towed. The doors opened at 8PM this night and they kept it on time. They check your ID as this is a 21 and over establishment and they do check as one person in front of me was denied entry for not having his ID.Once they check your ID they scan your ticket. its a pretty simple process. On this night the concert was sold out so there was a separate line for people who were trying to get tickets that were going to be available later on at night. Once you are scanned in you are at the patio where they have merch, one food vendor (or at least on this night as I've heard there is not always food) and some benches. Don't quote me on this but I would assume this is also a smoking area?On the right hand side is the entrance to the Bar. Its pretty small venue with a long bar and plenty of open area to stand and enjoy the concert. There is very limited seats I would say no more than 20/30 seats towards the back of the venue so if you need or want one get there right when doors open as these were all gone within 30 minutes or less of doors opening. The show started close to 9pm with 3 opening acts. Main act did not get on until about 11:15PM and they were on stage for about an hour.Drinks prices are not to bad but one weird thing is that the prices were not consistent. I ordered a Captain & Coke two times from one of the girl workers and was charged $9 but when I ordered from one of the guys he charged me $10 so not sure what happened there.I would for sure come back here to see another band here as its small and intimate venue."

Our first time to do Karaoke and this place did not disappoint. It was nice and clean and had great size rooms with different themes. We had the room with the pole and my friend had a great time with it LOL! We were greeted by K, he was very helpful with all the information we needed. We were the first customers so we get to check out the other rooms. Even if it was just K at the front he was very nice and took great care of us, and got us everything we needed. He even danced with our friend for fun! Hahaha I like that the time is open for us to use the room and we were not rushed to leave. We were there for 3 hours and it was sooo fun! We brought our own food and drinks and it was extra $60. The price was reasonable and service was excellent and place was luxurious and clean! Will be back for sure!

I debated on whether to give this place 3 stars or 4 and I went with 4 because it is one of the few places in the area that offers live Mexican Regional Music. With that being said, the place gets really full, to the point where it's difficult to move around inside much less dance. I would only check this spot out if you're truly in the mood to listen to Mexican regional music.

My family and I came here one night and had a pretty good experience. We were in the area and were deciding on different options for Vietnamese. Everyone wanted something different and thankfully this restaurant had a variety of options. They put together a table for us super quick for 10 of us. Pretty big restaurant and looks like it gets lively at certain times of the night. Couple of guys sat next to us, I think they were the owners but made sure our service/food was good. We all had a variety of Vietnamese dish. I ordered Bun Bo Xao, a vermicelli dish with filet mignon. It was really good! Super fresh and I could tell they really put effort into it. Vegetables were fresh, meat was cooked perfectly. We also had ordered a round of spring rolls for the table. 2-3 orders, it took a little bit but I can see why. Very fresh. They had so many things, my fiancé enjoyed her Bun Bo Hue, aunt ordered Hu Tieu, brother ordered Pho Ga. Haha we all were able to enjoy what we wanted. Vietnamese food hits here!

It's Pub food. Pub food done really well.Early weeknight dinner with hubby. He had the wet burrito, said it was great. See photos cuz it was HUGE, as most wet burritos are. 4/5I had Fried zucchini, which was house-made. Not the frozen version with panko. They were GREAT! Super crispy, not dripping in oil, so they were cooked at the proper temp. Ranch dressing on the side. Also had, & the real reason we went, were their awesome wings. One dozen lemon pepper wings crispy fried, just the right amount of seasoning. Just perfect. Personally, I don't care to deep fry at home. It's messy, uses a lot of oil, & truthfully not that great for you health wise. However, every once in a while, you gotta live.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Downey. It's located right off of second Street and Downey blending in nicely so it's unnoticeable. I love a really good cheeseburger, especially when all the ingredients combined create perfection. This cheeseburger "the LAX" should be top ten for the month of December 2023 in LA county. This savory combination with its simplicity, makes it so amazing between the layers of patties, grilled onions, arugula and cheeses that it smashed between some soft, sweet buns like that of resembles Hawaiian rolls. Of course I could have added more to it like: jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, avocado or bacon, etc. but it was simply divine the way it was prepared. The owner "David" served me that evening and he offered a wcipa (west coast Indian pale ale) a new beer he was serving that paired well with the food. Seeing how happy David was talking about the items really showed me how much he cares for his business. The food and beer were tasty. I will return..

We came to this restaurant about 12-15 years ago for my sisters birthday but didn't remember the meal. Fast forward to yesterday, we had a family dinner with the cousins, there was nine of us. We arrived at 5:30 and the restaurant was surprisingly packed. My wife got the BIG prime rib, I got the filet mignon, both were good but the prime rib was a bit better. Portions are healthy, prices are good, this is why the place is packed. Even the salad (not pictured) is a large portion.

Delicious food, would have given a pic of the tacos but all gone before I thought about it. The chilaquiles. Is the best or so I am told by numerous people who say mom did not make them this good. We were here around 130 on a Wednesday bar is full some tables available. This is a dive bar with food service, expect sports on big screens , pool tables and darts . Tables are bar sized , no booths. Service is prompt & friendly even with a crowd ,

"Over the years have been stopping in and out and you never disappointed. Thank you for allowing a place to wind down have some drinks and being able to talk to meet and talk to new friends."
"This was my first exposure to a bar + a drag show, and I will say - I had a ton of fun! This place gets the atmosphere right. Especially with the memorabilia on the walls, the numerous screens, and of course all of the lights. There's a good amount of seating as well, even though I had only gone to the 3rd floor (upstairs) and the ground floor. The upstairs portion has a dope bar and a great dance floor.Downstairs, on the ground floor is where the karaoke takes places and they have a great selection of songs- I personally didn't find anything I wanted in there, but that was okay. Drinks and libations are pretty affordable as well - they'vegot a great selection of beer, mixed drinks, and non-alcholic beverages, but be prepared to pay a cover charge if you're coming on an event night. Last thing, I would certainly encourage being Ubered or using a rideshare over to the location instead of trying to park - it is kind of a nightmare if you're not there before prime time. Tow truck drivers are actively on the lookout for folks trying to pull fast ones, so be careful! All in all, a great experience, not great parking."
"If you're looking for a sports bar that's divey and has decent happy hour options or if you're a 49ers fan - very nice to Michigan fans too - this is your spot. Feels like you're at your grandads, has large booths and pretty spacious, and the staff is really friendly. There are a lot of TVs and plenty of screens to comfortably watch a game. The only thing that threw me off was the menu I was given for a place called "Eric's Cousine" not Eric's Cuisine. My only question is who is Eric's cousin? If he made my chicken quesadilla, it was great for bar food, I wouldn't say it was cuisine but it was really good. Go Blue!"
"We took a weekend trip to the San Pedro Seafood Market because I was craving the flavors from our last visit. The portions seemed a bit smaller than before, especially for the price, but it was still a refreshing experience. It felt unique to enjoy a picnic-style lunch by the harbor, surrounded by cargo ships, yachts, and even a navy vessel. The staff was friendly, and while some outdoor tables lacked shade, we were able to find a shaded spot with a little searching. The outdoor restrooms were clean and well-maintained, which was a plus. The place seemed popular with families and groups.Although a bit of dust was noticeable while we ate, it's something you expect when dining outdoors. If you're looking for an intimate date spot, I'd suggest trying somewhere else.Since it was Saturday, there was live music, which you could enjoy for a fee of $25 per song, which makes sense at there's 5 musicians in the groupOne of the best options is the shrimp platter, priced at 69.99, but you mainly get potatoes, onions, tomatoes, more onions, more potatoes and a handful of shrimp. You get more shrimp at the boiling crab at a better price.Worst part is that they are now charging $25 for limited parking, which used to be free."
"This is a simple dive bar but a big plus is they do have spectrum cable (the Dodgers games), so that's why I came here; they even had the game sound on. There's no food but there's a few free bar snacks with beverage purchase. Happy hour is 4-7, and the bartender was very nice and attentive. There's only beer and a few wine selections, just don't expect too much. Ample parking especially after 5pm. However, they're only open Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun."
"Great bar with great people!! If you don't wanna break your bank and have a great time... this is your spot!! Very clean and has a pool table!! Great hospitality from everyone specially my favorite bartender Rocio !"
"Cash BarDive bar Good vibesLive MusicDefinitely a great spot to grab a drink...or two. Play some pool, meet people, or just chill. Local hangout with awesome staff. Door ppl are nice, bartenders are attentive (shout out to my fave Michelle). Always a great time!!"
"Friendly service and fun karaoke. A very neighborhood kind of bar.I will come back and so should you"
"I love this place !!! Anna makes the best tortilla soup. Yea,yea, it's a sorta sports bar, locals, pilot bar, but the food is phenomenal. Like east coast wings ? These are better, no breading, super crispy not swimming in hot sauce. Tap beer selection, 20 or so but everything is fresh, no stale tap lines. Well priced, cheapest bang for the buck in Redondo beach. Ask Steve to make you a JetBlue Bloody Mary, super tasty. Indoor or outdoor seating , TVs with all sorts sports, NFL game ? Good luck getting a seat. Go here!"
"Had a great time here.Huge outdoor patio area with ambient lighting.I'd consider this spot to be more of a chill and hang with ur friends vibe. On Tuesdays tho they have a bomb drink special $5 you call ur drink! They also have karaoke on other nightsDeff would recommend if ur in the area."
"Irish taquitos are a must. Always fast and tasty. Great neighborhood restaurant"
"I was here again last night and let me tell you this place was on fire. There's nothing like live music, great food, amazing drinks and a vibe that's...always positive and fun! Stop sleeping on the this place and stop by on Friday night and catch Pebbles and the Band performing!"
"A real dive with good food! The food is fantastic!! The chef even came out and spoke with us. If you are anywhere around this place stop in for some good food or a cold beer!"
"My sister & I stopped by to try their holiday drinks and loved both our drinks + the souvenir cups!! I got the "here for the ho's" which is in the Santa's boot cup (you can also keep!) and I love!! It's a strawberry and guava mixed drink and guava is my favorite fruit so of course I loved it! My sister got the "you're a mean one" which is pineapple and lime + tequila and that was also refreshing and delicious! The patio is so cute and there's tons of space indoor and outdoor! Pool tables and karaoke on Mondays! + they have some parking on the side! Everyone was so friendly & it's definitely a cool place to hangout!"
