"AYCE selection is so yummy and fresh.Service is good and very helpful. Lots of varieties that you can choose. The place is kinda small and they are pack. This is our 1st time visiting this year. Will coma back"
"Service and how the sweet lady talked me over for plate is better than the bowl! THAT IS 5 STAR! I'm usually hard to be persuaded hahahaha but she nailed that! - Chicken Teriyaki Plate, 4,5starThe veggies are fresh and crunchy! The amount of chicken it's not chunk! It's thick dear!!! It's savory and juicy! Not over spiced, it's just exactly good! - Spicy Beef Noodle, 4,5starHubby ate this and he said it's good! It's warm for the cool weather! One good menu choice! - Sides (fried Rice), 4,5 starIt's good for the kids I may say! The veggies are not too visible and my kids say it's good! Best amount to be called sides! Overall we got good experience and happy tummy and no stomachache afterwards! So yes it's all freshly made and the ingredients are good! I know this since my hubby stomach and tongue is so sensitive for bad ingredients and not fresh food! I'm a return customer each time we come to Orange Mall!"

"Only 5 mins away , I can't believe we didn't try this place sooner. My husband sees this restaurant on his runs around the neighborhood and suggested we try it. We came here on Mother's Day right when it open at 5pm and luckily we got seating before the crowd. We were greeted immediately and seated. Our waiter was very nice and gave us recommendations on sake and about our happy hour options. We ordered the :chefs choice 12 piecered snapper sushi salmon teriyaki plate love love roll the Normandie rollYaegaki sakiMacaron ice cream cappuccino flavorEverything was delicious , especially the "love love rolls". That was our favorite! We will definitely be back!"
"I'm pretty picky about fish because I'm not great with fishy taste. Satisfied here because the fish here was fresh :)I ordered the spicy yellowtail and the fresh salmon. Both are delicious though I liked the spicy yellowtail best. The medium spicy house sauce (you can pick the levels) definitely had a bit of gochujang in it and it was very well balanced. I do think the fresh salmon could use a touch for lemon for a more distinct taste. But overall ver satisfied. It's a comfortable and casual spot, and service was very nice, so all in all very satisfied for a quick bite. I'll be back!"
"We were staying at the motel next door and thought we'd give it a try. It was a pleasant surprise and definitely proves the adage "Don't judge a book by its cover." The inside decor isn't remarkable but the food and service are!We were greeted promptly and sat quickly. Service was efficient and friendly. We were well taken care of. The menu while busy was jam packed with lots of options and many standard favorites. The food was delicious and satisfying with good presentation.I would highly recommend checking this place out for a great meal and experience with pricing that is reasonable."
"We got our 2nd Tuna Event and just refreshing to have fresh tuna, from the sea to our table. It's all you can eat tuna until you're tunafiedBefore 2024 ends, we'll have a 3rd round for Tuna Event."
"Been coming here for over a decade. One of the hidden gems in the South Bay. Nothing fancy from the outside and the Interior has gone through a few renovations. Staff is as welcoming as ever and the food is delicious. My favorite dishes by far here are the Chicharron Mixto Al Ajo and the Tallarin Saltado. The green sauce is amazing here, I swear I almost finish a whole bottle everytime. I put that .... On everything. No joke.Chicharron is nice and crispy and a good mix of seafood from fish, squid, shrimp, and more. The garlic sauce is delicious. Though sometimes they make it a little too salty for me. But the crispy seafood, garlic sauce, rice, and green sauce to top it off is delicious. The Lomo Saltado is good, but I personally prefer the Tallarin Saltado. The noodles, onions, beef with green sauce is delicious. This boast we got the assorted sashimi. Excellent cuts and variety of fish.If you ever come with a large party, I recommend the chowders as well. Nice and creamy with lots of flavor."
"There was a time in my life when I frequented Teri House quite often, and here I was in the neighborhood ready to eat for nostalgia's sake. The menu has pretty generous offerings of all sorts of Japanese fare. Any craving you might have can definitely be satiated here.I ordered the chicken katsu curry ($13.07). The chicken katsu was lightly battered, keeping the chicken nice and moist. It sat on top of a bed of rice - the kind that reminds me of sushi rice. They keep the curry separate to prevent the katsu from getting soggy which seems logical, but this isn't always the case. The katsu curry was giving what it needed to give and I was here for it.My friend also ordered the 3 item combo plate ($16.78): chicken teriyaki, California roll, and shrimp tempura (+$1). The plates come with rice, pan fried noodles, salad and miso soup. Granted everything fits neatly into a styrofoam box, but still - so much variety for what you pay. Everything in the combo box was excellent. Each single item was high qual. No complaints whatsoever. If you're looking for a quick and easy lunch, make Bamboo Teri House your stop."
"I came to this place because I heard it had authentic Japanese chefs. Keep in mind, because of this marketing, as well as the fact that they import their fish from Japan, the prices are going to be sky high. It was like $5 for one piece of nigiri, or $30 for a fish collar. This place is very popular, so make sure to make a reservation or come like 10min before they open, as people will line up outside the restaurant.Getting that out of the way... It was a great restaurant in terms of the Japanese vibe and authenticity. The chefs are indeed Japanese and you can ask them questions about the dishes which they will answer skillfully. We did not go here for sushi, though there were many people ordering omakase here. We ordered a variety of their other dishes, including two fish collars (salmon and young yellowtail), the crab stuffed salmon, tempura, and liver. The highlight for me was the salmon collar. Fatty and moist, it was easily the most delicious dish. It far surpassed the young yellowtail, which wasn't as fatty and tasted fishier. The tempura came out hot, but it had such thick batter that I was overwhelmed by the oily taste. A thinner batter would've been better to let the shrimp shine. The stuffed salmon was okay. The crab inside was yummy, but the salmon on the edge was not. I did not eat the liver so I can't say whether that was good.I'd like to one day come back for their omakase experience, where I can talk to the chefs at the bar."
"Been coming for years...my spot for teriyaki in the area. I've tried others always keep coming back to this one...maybe it's the smell of grilled chicken from a block away.Never had any problems here. Yeah food has gone down somewhat but still good still better than other teriyaki places in Paramount. Never had any complaints w the customer service, order in drive thru they tell me my total after my order, drive up to window end of deal...My usual is a medium chicken bowl sometimes I add a side of veggies or I get the chicken/beef bowl."
"11-27-24: Tried a new spot for lunch and was impressed they had a gluten free bento box option...which was really tasty."
"This place is indeed awesome. Came on a late Monday evening and it was busy! Almost all tables were full. We were seated right away and started browsing the menu. There's a large variety of options, but I went straight for the specialty rolls. I ended up getting 2 rolls, one XOXO and one love your smile. Both were fantastic. They came out quickly, and tasted fresh.Overall I had a great experience here and would come back. It's not really cheap, but good sushi places typically aren't. For a reference point, our total was almost exactly $100 after tax and tip. Together we had 2 bottled beers and 4 specialty roles. The restaurant is a bit tight and a little cramped, but the food more than makes up for any discomfort.I'd definitely consider coming back here if in town again."

Was doing errands in the area and was offered a free sample of their chicken teriyaki and it was yummy! Came back after my errands and saw they were having a lunch special for their chicken teriyaki bowl from 11am - 3 pm. Service was quick since it was still early so no one was there. The place was very nice and clean. The staff that helped me were nice!

This was my first time trying yubu. It's very similar to Japanese inari except it comes with fish on top. We ordered the soy-marinated salmon, spicy salmon, creamy onion salmon, and seared salmon yubus, and they were all delicious. They had a generous amount of fish in each one, making them a bit difficult to eat because the fish would spill out with each bite.My favorite would definitely have to be the soy-marinated salmon. It was perfectly sweet and savory, and I wish I had ordered more. We also ordered the udon, and the broth was unlike any I've ever had before. The spices made it extra flavorful, and it definitely hit the spot on a cold day. Plus, if you order three yubus it comes with a free miso soup, which was a pretty good deal since each yubu is around $5.The service was excellent and the food comes out quickly even if they're busy with other orders. There is a lot of bar-style seating in the restaurant with a few tables, and it's very easy to find a place to sit since people usually don't stay very long. Parking also isn't a hassle at all because it's located in a large plaza. Overall, I would definitely try this place again so I can order a lot more soy-marinated salmon yubus!

As someone who used to eat here regularly (before I moved outta CA), I've had just about every special roll on their menu, and they were all tasty, fresh, and served up fast. They treat their regulars well, even if it's been a while since they've been back--I visit every time I'm in town, which is once a year or so. If you're unsure where to start, GET THE LAS VEGAS ROLL. I've tried many other restaurants' versions of battered, deep fried California rolls, but Sushi 21's puts them all to shame. You'll see what I mean.

FOOD: excellent, fresh, doesn't not taste fishy at all SERVICE: quick, friendly and attentive AMBIANCE: it's a very small space, it could be a little cleaner but that's just me being picky for how pricey this place can be. Overall, this is a great place to have some great great seafood.

10 years ago I had the flan here and I loved it lol. Came back finally because I happened to be in the area and was hungry I told my husband let's goooo! We've been together for about 6 years and he has heard me talk about this place every time we get flan. Anytime we go get flan I always say "it's just not as good" and it's ALMOST as I remember! Still delicious! I just can't decide if they or another place has the better one, guess I'll just have to come back and try it again to see Overall though food is great! You can't go wrong with the fried rice dishes and the lomo saltado but their sashimi looks great (husband won't eat it so didn't get it this time around). And the flan is delicious!! They have been here for I believe 20 years and when you taste the food you understand why. Our server liliana (sorry if I misspelled it!!) was so nice as well!!

Staff: They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and a pleasure to be helped by. Quality/Quantity: The food was delicious with fair portion size. Everything was fresh and tasted well seasoned. No complaints only a happy belly for all of us. Value:Fair and I like with other places. Overall:Really happy with the experience and will continue to come here as I have for the past 20 years or so. The place was packed so I am happy to see them doing well. Pro tip:They now have poke bowls. Really good! I would only suggest they offer cold or hot rice with it. Some prefer one or the other.

"New favorite spot in town! Super cute , amazing food and not overpriced Super nice staff too "
"Fast service! Arrived around 6pm, it was pretty quiet. Handful of customers inside. We ordered right away, food came out super fast. Everything was tasty! Sushi was a tad bit pricey but it's the inflation. Restaurant was clean. Servers/host/waiters were friendly and efficient. Limited parking spots, small lot. Pros: buy two special rolls, get one free! Monday through Thursdays."
"Loved this restaurant! From the drinks to the food to the amazing service. Brien was our server and was amazing. He gave great suggestions and was very attentive and friendly. Food we tried: unagi Don, crispy rice, spicy edamame, variety of handrolls. Everything was delicious! Drink: tried the velvet sour and it was the perfect balance. Not overly sweet but just enough. Will be back and highly recommend. Tip: join waitlist on yelp if coming in the evening time when they experience higher wait times."
"We came on Valentine's Day & the service was exceptional ! Diego was our server and he explained the prefix menu and everything was amazing . Definitely will be coming back!"
"Grabbed a couple of rolls to go for my sushi addicted daughter. Only thing I remember ordering for her was some kind of scallop rolls. Requested eel sauce, regardless of what kind of roll it was. Sat and chatted with sushi chefs while waiting for my order. Friendly staff. I'll drop by for lunch next time. My daughter did enjoy the food."
"The toro fatty belly with Miso soup broth is my go to here! I put myself on the Yelp waitlist on Saturday night and the wait was around 40 minutes. As we got seated our order was taken promptly and our veggie sides and meat came shortly after. The ponzu and sesame sauce that comes with the meal are so good! You can also ask for hot sauce drops in your sauce if you like it more spicy. The ambiance is spacious and there's table and bar seating!"
"Walked in about 45 min before closing time and there were 2 young ladies there. They were nice and hard at work as the couple before us ordered quite a few different bowls. Despite this and being close to closing time, they were very patient with us as it was our first time in and still accommodated some side items like gyoza and spam musubis. Half the chairs on one side were up but the other side of the room still had bench seating and tables available. The poke bowls themselves were good. No issues and plenty of mix in's and toppings. The sizes are based on the amount of protein scoops. The musubis were not the prettiest or the freshest but they were still on point. Gyoza from a bag but crispy to perfection. Deep fried of course. The bag of chips were a tad stale but it actually worked since I was scooping my poke up with the chips. All in all if you're super picky, this may not be the spot for you. However I enjoyed my meal and i will definitely be returning."
"I am a regular at Ootoro Irvine. It's consistently excellent quality and fair priced. I prefer table seating and lunch combo, cirashi and sashimi vs hand roll sets. I am not a business person but if sales are less than expected they could move the bar all the way back and setup tables and try that. Irvine seems very busy."
"Today 6/27/2024 I revisited my favorite teriyaki place- noticed some changes in the dining area including a sushi bar. I said to the employee at the counter- "wow it looks different in here"" she mentioned they were new owners what? Oh no! Does the food taste the same? She said try it and let me know- I ordered the number #97 chicken teriyaki with tempura. I tried it and I must say food has not changed a bit! Still delicious- tasty and portions are the same. . Best wishes to the new owner. I'll definitely be back!"
"Food was good and competitive prices. However they charge for everything. I mean, everything -- teriyaki sauce, hot sauce/sriracha, to go boxes if you have leftovers. They also poach for positive Yelp reviews, you text a screenshot to some phone number, and you get two free gyozas. Do what you will with that information."
"Really intimate, casual atmosphere , good for date night, good service. Food is good and portions are good! I just wish the sushi rice was a bit warmer and softer.I like their selection of sushi and would definitely come back again ."
"Came here with my dad, my sisters and a couple of the inlaws for dinner when I was visiting them while on vacation. Honestly, the food was just ok, but the service was outstanding.Yahoo Grill is in a small strip mall across the street from Cypress College. Depending on when you visit the restaurant, parking, which is free, may be challenging since the shared parking lot isn't all that big to fully support the customers that visit all of the nearby businesses. The seven of us came in two cars and were able to get parking spaces, probably because it was after 7 pm on a Thursday night. This restaurant is on the small side, so I can see customers having to request their orders to go during peak times due to not having enough places to sit inside. The restaurant was clean. Drinks were self serve from beverage dispensers. The menu includes meals in the form of plates, bowls and salads (with protein), and kid's meals are also on the menu. The service is outstanding! The employees were so welcoming, and they didn't have an issue with the seven of us coming in during their last business hour that day. Prices are very reasonable; however, the food quality for some of the meats isn't the best. While my family members ate, it looked like some of them had issues with their food. My sister-in-law looked like her beef rib meat was chewy, which she later said was tough. The shrimp was overdone. Those of us who had chicken or teriyaki didn't have any issues with chewing those meats, and they were cooked perfectly, as were the veggies and rice. The veggies, however, lacked flavor."
"The ramen was okay, everything was okay but both of us wouldn't return. It's hard to describe it. It seems very commercialized. The chicken wings and gyoza were good even if the portions were tiny. I didn't care for the size and texture of the noodles and the broth was just okay to me. My favorite ramen place Santouka has nothing to worry about. Service was fine but a little slow. I didn't care for my seating but I didn't want to wait longer for better seating."
"My kiddo is a teriyaki chicken bowl fan. Sometimes the quality of his favorite food varies from place to place. I ended up finding this great spot 5 minutes away from us. Teriyaki J's meets all the right requirements: food is great, especially for the price! We know inflation is a current issue everywhere. Prices are rising and it's affecting everyone. The prices here can't be topped! The staff here is so friendly and professional. I've been here over a dozen times and the service is always A+ ! Every single time I've visited the restaurant has always been clean. I love that! This shows that they take pride in their establishment. If you visit, take the time to read the owner and founders story on their wall.Last but not least, I'm only mentioning their chicken teriyaki bowl but their menu is so diverse. Check it out! There's something for everyone."
"Food was good and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and quick! The karage was definitely my favorite item.Cute shop, would not recommend for large parties."
"Great little teriyaki shop in Anaheim! Great portions and prices, bowls are generous with portions and you can always swap out rice for veggies if you're watching carbs. I like the chicken more than the beef here. Staff is very nice and helpful, always love stopping by after the gym!"
"Stopped by for the beef bowl & spam musubi. The beef was very delicious and had lots of flavor. Under the beef was a layer of cabbage and on the bottom of the bowl was rice. The spam musubi was okay there wasn't any furakaki, it was just spam and rice so pretty simple. It was a little disappointed with the spam musubi. Parking: There is parking in front of the restaurant. Quality of Service:The lady helping me was very nice and helpful. She requested I wait in the car until the food was ready. Once the food was ready she brought it out to my car. If you're looking for a good and simple bento I would recommend you stop by here :)"
"It's a good place for an every day eatery. Great value and absolutely love this spot. Food is good and fair value. They have many menu items for people who prefer cooked foods also. Take out orders are almost always ready within 20 minutes, and I have never been disappointed with their sushi. I like Crunch Roll, Yellowtail Sashimi, Gyoza, Jalapeno Yellowtail Roll , bake Salmon rolls. Service is top notch. Very limited seating so you may have a wait on a busy evening. Another location in Tustin !"
"Great food!Fantabulous service !Very cozy, casual sushi locationDefinite favorite place of ours."
"This place is a hidden gem in Cypress. Everything is so fresh and delicious. We had tonight spicy tuna rolls, teriyaki chicken plate, and beef ramen. It's very clean inside and ran by a very nice couple. Always so friendly and welcoming."
"My first time here, but my wife had been here years ago on a business dinner. We both ordered the Chef's Omakase dinner, one with Filet and one with New York steak. The five course meal came out in very well prepared and timed intervals allowing for us to enjoy each course's unique flavor and texture while leaving time to discuss that part of the meal. Looking around the restaurant during our dinner, I noticed most customers had ordered similarly as the meals went by. The restaurant was full throughout the evening, with a couple celebrations through the night. The old saying that a meal is excellent with great service was true here, and the saying continues, that it's superb when someone else picks up the tab. Well, my wife brought her wallet tonight. Thank you to our server Rie san, for making our evening special. I write Haiku when I have time --crescent moon glow through the window on my wife's face"
"I stopped by Orange Teriyaki today and had a great experience. We were in the vicinity and decided to try it out as my mom was craving teriyaki. I ordered 3 chicken & beef teriyaki plates, 1 chicken rice bowl, 1 baked salmon roll, and an order of shrimp tempura. Everything came out to $67 which was reasonable considering the quantity of food we got. This spot is located across the street from Jordan High School and though the restaurant itself is small, they have a nice little seating arrangement inside. The restaurant looks very clean and the service was speedy and friendly. I got my large to-go order within 10 minutes of ordering and everything came out looking delicious. This was my first time trying sushi and I was very impressed with my baked salmon roll. It was super flavorful and fulfilling. Definitely recommend. My teriyaki plate was also very good, the beef and chicken were yummy and I absolutely loved their teriyaki sauce. The shrimp tempura was good, nothing phenomenal though. Overall, I give Orange Teriyaki a solid 4/5 and I'd recommend to anyone in the area."
"So sushi has been on my radar since I never grew up eating seafood, fish, or anything in that food group. I have been expanding my taste and have been trying new things each time I am out. So I ended up coming here with my boyfriend for happy hour. Our waitress was very helpful and attentive to our needs. She took our order and brought us our food fast. I got to order a crunchy roll and paired it with an ice-cold Sapporo. I also ordered a side of chicken karaage, a favorite of mine. My crunchy roll was yummy. It had shrimp tempura and asparagus with tempura flakes and eel sauce. I enjoyed it. I also tried out a rainbow roll. The roll was a California roll with assorted fish. My favorite out of each roll was the sashimi one. I will be back to try out some more stuff and find my go-to sushi roll. I also want to try out their dinner menu. The restaurant looks fun and seems to have great specials at night."
