The Tastiest Grocery in Long Beach

I've seen this place all over TikTok. The sandwiches looked amazing. So I happen to be in the area and I knew this is where I wanted to go. This store is located in a little neighborhood. Is really small. I don't know if they are repainting the top top of the store. But it's all back. Once I was passing the shop, that's when I saw the Uptown Provisions logo.The girl taking my order was super nice. She let me take my time reading the menu and deciding what I would like to order.I ended up getting two of their top sellers. The smoked pastrami $16.00I got mine with the sauerkraut on the side and no Swiss cheese.Omg, the flavors exploded in my mouth. The rye bread was so good with the pastrami.I also tried the prime rib and barbecue brisket sandwich $16.00I think this sandwich was my favorite. The flavor all mix well together and it just leaves you wanting more! I loved it!I wished I lived closer or that we had this sandwich place here in Oceanside! I would be going here all the time!!!I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends! I can't wait to come back here!!

Amazing sandwiches. Simply the best I've ever had. The service always very nice and they're willing to modify sandwiches to your taste. It's a nice chill spot with good music.

1/22/23 My aunties ordered from American Ranch Market's Lutong Bahay. Food was cooked & ready as promised.I've ordered some combos from Lutong Bahay (translates to home cooked meals) and I've never been disappointed. My favorite is their adobong pusit (squid adobo) and have ordered the grilled salmon steak before-always delicious & tasty. What was ordered: beef tongue asado, Sisig, beef caldereta, and chicken aftitada, grilled salmon's steak. Fir dessert, buko pandan-da best!Can't complain, no cooking required, although auntie still made her special pansit malabon & fresh lumpia (vegetable spring rolls, Filipino style) & corn soup with spinach. Good eats!!

11/16/24 FOUND IT!!! Epazote for my posole verde Where has this place been all my LIFE!? First off, bright & airy, spacious! Staff look happy to work here & it's very encouraging to patronize such a business. DO NOT miss the bakery department, on the other hand--I need to stay away. Their mazapan tres leches is so good! Sweetness level is just right & you can taste the nuttiness. I tasted it from the lady staff stationed by the department, giving samples.It is a HUGE market. It has a plethora of choices for prepared foods: guacamole, baked chicken, cut fruits, hot tamales, sushi, etc. I didn't get a chance to take a peek at the cafeteria style eatery that has a dining area, near the restrooms requiring a code to enter (fairly clean, a little bit of tagging from traviesos, not Vallarta's fault). I really must return to fully check this market!As soon as I found the epazote, I knew it was going to be great--and it WAS! The only complaint was the heart pounding sound the exit made when I walked towards it, I felt like a criminal about to get cuffed & thrown in jail. Kidding aside, this location is amazing, bells & whistles! The background music is upbeat & lively (Latin inspired of course). Each department is very well labeled & decorations are very tasteful. I really love this place. Self checkout is available but it looked packed so I made my way to the check stand & Sandra is all smiles, very welcoming. It is an all around great experience. Please see the photos of all the departments i visited. Parking is shared among other businesses (Dollar Tree, B of A, Flying Chopsticks, Western Dental, etc)Highly recommend Vallartas in Carson. James Fish market is so good. Weather is being delivered or picked up. It all takes the same. It's always fresh well seasoned and most important delicious.

Best produce section. It was always very good. But they have upped their game. Great product quality and variety. Super friendly staff and cashiers who really go the distance. Only thing that needs a little care is the date coding in the grab and go. Some stuff needs to be pulled a bit sooner. Love Mother's.

Always friendly and helpful. I can usually get everything in looking for. Mr.Lee is the best.
