"R10 Social House is a great spot to kick off a beach day and have brunch! With summer in full swing; it certainly was a lovely start of the day to have brunch here at R10 Social House.Despite being a South Bay native and someone who has frequented the Redondo Pier; it was my first time ever to check out R10 Social House. I loved the wooden interior, chill ambiance and the view of the marina. I was seated downstairs but I also learned there is an upstairs area where events can be held. I got a little sneak peak of the upstairs area and was in awe of the view up there as well. I have to say I made a mental note for possible events here in the future. I can only imagine how gorgeous the view of the beach sunset is from here.Not only were the views from this restaurant something to talk about; their brunch food was also quite delightful. Being a lemon fan; I chose to get their Lemon Ricotta pancakes. The Lemon Ricotta pancakes were divine! They were so fluffy. I loved the toppings of blueberries and toasted almonds too. This dish really expected my expectations. I'm a lemon fan but totally didn't expect that I would enjoy this dish as much I did. I highly recommend.Overall I enjoyed my first time at R10 Social House and can see why many Redondo Beach pier vistors go here. Food is great, views are great and location is great. I found myself enjoying a nice stroll to the pier that was right there right after brunch. A visit here really is a nice way to kick off a beach day. Happy brunchin' and happy beach day!"

"We attended this relatively new venue since a friend of ours worked here. We came in at the dinner hour and the food was remarkably good. This place strikes you as a dive bar with dedicated decor, but I had a burger and the onion rings were perfect,Our server was Natalie she's an excellent job of taking care of us, she returned to our table many times to make sure everything was great for our family dinnerWe also played family pool games on the coin operation pool table. Other guests were having a great time while we were there so this place is a soon 2b discovered future gem on a busy mall lot next to the Beach Blvd corridor.Well recommended, we will return..!!"

"Very popular place that's been around for a very long time in Belmont Shore. Parking is always difficult in the area. They have outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. We've been there for dinner before, but we went for Sunday brunch this time.Service as usual was friendly and efficient. The choices for lunch and brunch were good.I had the tostada and a fish taco, both of which were excellent. My partner had the avavocado toast, which she said was very good. I would highly recommend."

"If you're looking for a casual brunch with ocean views or are staying at Terranea, then Nelson's is an easy choice. My family and I had a reservation here for 11:30am on a Saturday and got seated immediately. Both indoor and covered outdoor seating is available but I'd recommend sitting outside to enjoy the ocean views. I ordered the green veggie curry (this is a vegetarian option although you can add chicken) and I really liked the coconut curry sauce. The pulled pork sandwich my dad had was a bit dry and the fries were overly salted, but overall it was still a decent meal. The clam chowder was creamy and quite filling despite the small serving size. Service was slow but as long as you're not in rush, it's all good. "I've been here many times. Place was busy as this was the first time I had to wait for a table. Marilyn was a very kind server despite the large crowd and having to run all over the place. I ordered the Haunted Nachos. This was my first time ordering them with a protein as a typically don't and I realized they really don't need chicken or any meat. I actually like them on their own. The only thing I do wish is that Local Kitchen had a better variety or more exciting options of non alcoholic drinks. I don't drink soda and sometimes I want something more than an Arnold Palmer when I am not drinking liquor."
