"I've been going to Birria places for a while now and I can tell you that this place is severely overrated and not worth the wait!We came on a Friday night, probably the first mistake. There was no definitive line and we wasted about 5 minutes standing in what appeared to be the line to order, but wasn't. We finally found the correct line and ordered fairly quickly. The guy taking our order was friendly. No prices listed, but our 4 tiny Birria Tacos and one small cup of Consume came out to about $26.00. I would have ordered two 3 Taco Plates (includes rice & beans) for $10 each if I knew it would cost me about the same price to get 4 tacos + one Consume!! How long would you wait for your order to be ready? Expect at least a 40-minute wait!TIP: They accept Cash or you can send money through Zelle.The Birria tacos were small but pretty good. They came topped with guacamole. I would consider eating them again, but not at the price we paid. The Consume was awful... it was as if the server just scooped up all the grease floating at the top and added cilantro & onions. It was pretty gross! I want/need Consume with my Birria Tacos!!For these reasons, price, wait time, and bad Consume, I will most likely never return to this truck! There are so many better and more efficient places to go to!"

I left no crust behind on this one :) But of course the toppings matter too LOL I had the Wild Mushroom Duxelle Chefs Special pizza WOW This pizza was sooooo delicious with plenty of cheese and mushrooms :) On a previous visit I had the Create You Own with Canadian Bacon & Pineapple and it was just as good :) :) :)I love Steelcraft because there is plenty of seating, a play area, selfie spot & lots of parking! A big parking lot across the street and parking around the building. Even though we usually are able to park on the street in front. The common areas are kept neat & clean and the staff is very friendly. FYI... dogs are welcome :)But back to Angelenos, I have had their pizzas several times now and love them!!! Their staff is also very friendly and helpful with ordering :)"

"Originally I ordered a 6 inch lemon cake online which was extremely simple, a week in advance of my daughter's birthday. 3 days before I decided it would work better to have an 8 inch cake and change the flavor to strawberry. They were very accommodating to my request and charged only an additional $15. I was sent the invoice via email and paid the difference. When it was time to pick up the cake I was welcomed in the the store which smelled delightful and sweet. It is extremely clean and inviting. Pickup was very simple and easy. The cake was delicious, moist and exactly what I ordered. I can not wait to order my next cake and am very happy I found this gem of a location."

Immediately the owner responded very nicely he apologized for what I experienced and assured me that it was not acceptable for me to be treated that way. I said in the review that I would not go back but the churros are so delicious I couldn't resist so I went back. The lady I complain about gave us such a warm welcoming and the brightest biggest smile. I love that they have XS as a size option for pretty much most of the menu, as i get full easily, and the taste was sooo good, not super sweat but not bland, it was fresh and full of flavor. Also got a bacon wrapped hotdog and it was sooo good and made to order so very fresh. Everyone working there was very nice, service was quick and kind. There's a table to sit outside and a game board to play with, with family/friends :) would definitely recommend to others in the area!!"

""The Hook Up Food Truck"(Their words, not mine.)What a great find by our friend! She posted and we went. However, the location she went to was on 4400 Los Coyote Diagonal Traffic Circle (near CVS). Both that spot and this one open at 5PM for dinner and late night eats. If you want a lunch spot, they have a truck at 1787 E 28th St, Signal Hill, CA, open from Noon-5PM. You have options!This truck is parked on Artesia Blvd near the parking lot for Big Saver Foods. This location is in North Long Beach. They have one 6 ft table and chairs as well as extra chairs along the edge of the sidewalk.We ordered our staple... Al Pastor Tacos + Horchata. These Street Tacos are $2.50 each, a little pricier, but I'd say they're worth it. They didn't skimp on the meat. Each taco was filled with Al Pastor, guacamole, pineapple slivers, onions, and cilantro. What I really appreciated was that the meat was flavorful and there was more than one little piece of pineapple on the taco! A highlight of the meal was their salsas! We always bring our own because we like the heat. We gave theirs a try and really enjoyed them! In fact, we didn't even need to use ours! They have 3 different ones, each unique. I poured a little of all three on my tacos, so I can't tell you which one was the spiciest. I'd recommend taste testing each just in case.I didn't see a Trompo for the Al Pastor. Not sure if it was because we were early or if they don't have one here. There's one at the other truck. When we come back, I'll check for it. A gentleman chatted with us, he was very friendly! I believe he was the owner. I think he said his Dad or Uncle runs the truck near the Traffic Circle. He asked us about other taco spots and wanted to know which were our favorite and worst places. We couldn't remember the bad ones because we just never go back! LOL! He's got a good thing going here! If you're near any of these places or looking for some good Mexican food, go check them out!I'm sure my husband would like to try the Asada and Chorizo! I'll stick with the Al Pastor because that's my go to meat choice! We usually always just get tacos, so I'd probably stick with them. We will be back!"

I had birria a few times already I never liked it too much since the taco shell was always soft or with cheese it was overly salty but the queso taco dorado was perfect the cheese didn't make it too salty. I forgot to order consome since I was using to it sometimes coming with order so make sure to order that even without it the taco was more than juicy and flavorful enough. Full of flavor, not too salty, crispy cheese, and shell. I suddenly understand the birria craze. We had it doordashed from Santa Ana to Irvine it was still crispy and hot. Don't know where the bad reviews are coming from, but this is my 2nd time here because I visit Downey about every other month and this place is great, good food with good flavor and the customer service is always good! This food truck is great and one of the best I've tasted and experienced. I've had the chicken, shrimp and steak and today just had the steak and chicken. Along with the fried rice, the flavor the seasoning and overall flavor profile of this meal is simply delish! Ambiance, well it's a food truck so don't know how much ambience there is. Only thing that I would say, is perhaps bringing a portable table and chairs so clients who want to just order and eat, have somewhere to sit vs having only to go orders. I think this would be a great concept and probably make this food truck and more attractive to passerby's !"

The lady taking orders was helpful when I asked for recommendations. The menu on the side of the truck is a bit confusing the way it's laid out as is pricing. All I know is my carne asada taco with marrow + mulita + coke was $20. Also I should add I had limited meat options, perhaps it because we went early. Things tried:1. Carne asada taco with marrow - i wanted to love this taco, but it was just ok. It was a tad hard to taste the marrow with everything on the taco. 2. Carne asada mulita - I preferred this to the taco. Easier to eat and the cheesiness made it good.3. Bbq rib- I mooched off my friend and tried a rib. I wasn't expecting much, so was surprised when they were super juicy and tasty.All in all I'm glad I tried it, but maybe not my favorite taco place."

It started off in a different location, but now they're located near Ball Rd and Anaheim Blvd. There is usually a good crowd here, which must mean the food is good. They are NOT wrong. Chick-N-Out has a pretty simple menu. You can get chicken strips, crazy fries, chicken wrap, or a chicken sandwich. No matter what you end up getting, the chicken has a really good taste. You can see the cooks prepping your food and can tell that the chicken is fried right there in front of you. Can't get any fresher than that. Because of this, make sure that you give yourself enough time to order and get your food. If you're in a rush, come back another day. I personally love the chicken wrap. It's big enough to share with someone or save the other half for later. Give them a try!!"
