"The only thing I've tried at this place is the Halo Halo and it is the BEST I've ever had. Crushed ice, jelly cubes, red bean, condensed milk, rice crispies, ube, and softened sweet bamboo (I think it's bamboo). So freaking good, and it's not too sweet. Just right for those who don't like overly sweet desserts. I've had 3 of these in one week. A little pricey at $9 a pop, so will have to reserve this dessert for a 'treat yo self' occasion."
"I came here first thing last Tuesday 2/4/25 as I left the facility I was in for 65 days. I was told this place which was recommended by my wonderful friend Jen, was close by and great to support. It was only open till 2 pm, so I was glad that I snuck in at 1:30 pm to get a quick order to go. While waiting for my order, I enjoyed looking around at this cozy establishment. I ordered an iced Ube latte, a pork bun, and a chicken bun for my first visit here. This place did not disappoint! Asaru showed great customer service as he took my order, was so super friendly! I'm glad I got the items to go as I didn't want to be stuck in traffic heading to my next location. I had my excellently made drink and ate the two buns, was a perfect little snack combo for an hours drive! I definitely can't wait to get back here again to try more items, come here with Jen, and spend some time in this relaxing atmosphere!!!"

"Good dining experience this time was a little busy but service was fast and good .. food was finished fairly fast served hot fresh .. but if you can get thru on phone .. definitely recommend for calling in for take out"
"My family has been craving chicken inasal for a while, so we finally decided to stop by Tony's Barbecue after passing it so many times in the 99 Ranch Plaza. What a nice treat! We ordered the chicken inasal and also the boneless chicken bbq. The chicken for both meals were incredibly tender, and the peanut sauce was the perfect complement. We also enjoyed the Java rice, it was a big hit with the group! We tried the Taho as well, which was pretty good, though I'd recommend getting it elsewhere if you're looking for a larger portion and better value. The employees were so friendly and kind, making the experience even better. While we were there, they were busy preparing party trays of bibingka, and honestly, we were so tempted to grab some. We'll definitely be back to try more!"
"Great Filipino food especially Lechon ! Order for catering multiple times and always tasty . Just wish they delivered . :)"
"Get your Filipino fast food fix here!! My go to place for Turon (fried banana/jackfruit) and Mango with shrimp paste. We also love yo get their party trays for parties and work luncheons.Their food taste cleaner than the other Filipino food in Carson."
"Lunchtime favorite!! It's been a while since I've been here and it is still as fresh and flavorful as always.Poke is their specialty and they have 20+ premarinated flavors to choose from just like in Hawaii. Salmon and Tuna have the most flavor options and all of them are good depending on your preference. My favorite poke, hands down, is Salmon Sweet and Spicy (not too spicy with great balance). That's the only one I get now. Salmon Fresh Mango is good, Salmon Spicy Mayo is good, Tuna Awapuhi is delicious, the Shredded Crabmeat is good, and Tuna Creamy Japanese is good. The only thing keeping me from coming more often is the price for the quantity. It's a small bowl that cost more than other places that pack a box to the brim. Spam Musubi - this is pre-made and a quick easy meal if you're on the go. It's okay. They also have many options of Hawaiian food, but I've only been here for the poke. They also have Hawaiian Sun canned sodas and Coke fountain drinks. It's a small place with 5-6 tables inside and 2-3 outside. Service is quick and friendly. You order at the counter and grab a table here. Parking is very convenient in the large shared lot. Recommended!"
"I've hit many a Filipino resto and Daniela's is definitely the best "turo turo" (just "point" and eat right away style) spot in the south bay. All the dishes I've tried are reliably spot on flavorful - Filipino comfort food at its best. Their lechon kawali / fried pork belly is crispy (never chewy) and melts in your mouth. It comes with traditional sweet-ish mang tomas brown sauce but I prefer to ask for suka / vinegar sauce on the side - cuts through the fat better. When you get a combo (around $15 for 2 items & rice), they hook you up with a generous portion plus sabaw (broth from their soup of the day) on the side! I love their nilagang baka / beef soup with marrow bone broth.Good catering options too! I ordered a tray of their lumpia for a birthday party and it went like hot cakes. Nice crunch and more flavorful than any other catering I've had in the area.If you want to try their yummy Filipino breakfast spread, definitely arrive before 9am - this is a beloved local hole in the wall and by 9am the options start selling out."
"12/2/24 So much better this time around, shoutout to Megan, our fabulous server who made our dining experience phenomenal!First off, I inquired if they will charge for vinegar, and she said No. She was surprised that we were charged for it last time. Megan was very friendly & accommodating, I felt we were in good hands. My mom was craving Miso Sinigang again & it was her idea to dine out tonight. Met up with her & dad, my brother & his kids, & my other sister. We ordered family style: the Sinigang, lechon kawali, chopsuey, fresh lumpia with sauce on the side, calamari, beefsteak Tagalog & pansit, of course, steamed rice. The best of all the dishes was the lechon kawali, cooked to perfection, seasoned well, it was paired with Mang Tomas sauce (which my dad happily took all for himself) but the rest of us preferred to dip it in vinegar (free of charge). It was so good! Piping hot! The sinigang was also delicious, fairly tart & sour enough to get the seal of approval from mom (I want mine very sour). The fresh lumpia was a tad salty, even for my taste, glad we requested the sauce on the side). Beefsteak was good, needs to be more tangy for our taste. Calamari was pretty good, the breading wasn't overly done, it comes with aioli sauce, again, we dipped ours in vinegar. I didn't taste the pansit, Hubby said it "meh". The chopsuey was average, I didn't care too much for the cooked carrots. Overall, we enjoyed this dining experience because the food was pretty good & the service by Megan more than made up from the last time. Open mic started before our departure--kinda cool. More patrons arrived because we were the only customers when we arrived. I love the decor that is reminiscent of the Philippines although with a modern take on it. Parking is shared among Cafe 86, Suisa '& Sons, and Fresh Catch, along with other businesses. Thanks, Megan! Exceptional service!"
"Stopped by for lunch on a nice Friday. Ordered the Tofu skewer with a side of rice and Filipino Atchara. Service was friendly and quick. Food was pretty tasty, definitely fulfilled my crispy skewer craving. Sauce was a little unique but liked the tanginess of it. Defiantly would recommend the pickled fruits and veggies, my favorite part. Inside the Steelcraft of Bellflower I really enjoy this place. Quiet and enough space to get some work done."
"So delicious! As someone that doesn't eat dairy I ADORE a vegan bakeshop, and on top of that it's Filipino?! Bless. I waited in line in the rain for these goodies and it was well worth the wait. They def sold out before the day ended and I can see why. The flavors of their desserts are insanely delicious! I managed to grab the ube cup, a dark chocolate crinkle cookie, and a mung bean paste dessert! All were perfectly not too sweet. I drove to the water and enjoyed my pastries while staring into the abyss and pondering for hours. Truly a magical morning. Will be back to try their coffee and other drinks!!"
"Ordered few items and sadly they were just so so. My crispy pork was deep fried in a fryer to be reheated and it was beyond dry and we threw it away and couldn't eat it."

We had a family dinner on a Thursday night. They provided us a table to the left of the restaurant so we are not sure if the other side had customers. But I wouldn't be surprise if they did have plenty. Customer service was amazing. So attentive and provided each of our long 2 tables with constant napkins, food and drinks. Food was so flavorful and all were so good. Our family loved each dish so much. It's like mom's way of cooking. So many variety of Filipino dishes. We ordered all the familiar ones but we will need to come back to try all the others.

Omg glad to find my new favorite coffee spot around the area, but sad they are planning to close this location and more focused on the other 2 locations which are too far from my place...ughI tried their pandan Latte and I love how their taste is more on the milky side. I'll probably come back in near future to try their ube and Nido latte. The staff is friendly and seems to know what they have I guess, but there was only one person working, so the wait time was a bit long. There are more tables inside and I love all the vibes and the decoration they have there. Parking is plenty but limited in the plaza. I guess it depends on what time you come

This neighborhood has a lot of Filipino restaurants to choose from! Love it here!We were all craving arroz caldo and this place popped up on Google maps.It wasn't a bad price for it. Around $8 and they give a large amount! It lasted me two days. It has meat, boiled egg, and tofu.I also ordered pork sisig. Yum! It usually has mayo in it, but this one didn't. Still delicious! A good amount to share with one other person. The young woman at the counter was nice. The order was ready quickly! Probably around 10 minutes.I would come back to try other stuff from the menu.

We had the salmon and chicken bbq sticks. Had a very homestyle taste. Both were on point, servings were generous, and the staff was so kind. When we're back in the Cerritos area we're definitely coming back to Tony's BBQ!!

6/06/23The service here have been really friendly and fast.I'm picky eating certain Filipino food. Their breakfast is really good though. I recommend their Tocino, grilled pork, and Topsilog and Sinangag (Garlic Fried Rice). For Lunch, You Gotta Try Their BBQ Pork or Chicken On A Stick..!

"First time we have ever tried authentic Filipino food, can't say I am a fan. Everything tasted very very greasy! Good thing was that they had a full bar and live entertainment. The entire restaurant was super loud and crowded. We tried grilled fish, squid abodo, sizzling pork, garlic rice and imitation crab fried rice to go. I couldn't believe how oily and greasy everything was, it was to the point I couldn't eat more than a few bites. Only dish that was decent was the fried rice, still a bit oily for my taste. But the portions were big and prices were very good. Also service was fast and friendly. It was not bad to give Filipino food a try but it's not my type of food! LOL"
"Delicious food options, friendly staff, and clean ambiance! Highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back to get my fix whenever I'm craving Filipino food :)"
"Was craving Filipino food and decided to order through DoorDash since I have a sleeping child at home.I remember dining in once and the portions were huge! Ok, so I chose this place out of all these other Filipino restaurants for delivery. Come to open my delivery and they're in small containers. The pinakbet was $22 and the Laing was $19! The Laing isn't even full, only half way! See the photos posted. The vegetables in the pinakbet such as the eggplant and bitter melon are barely cooked! There's also no flavor to the pinakbet! It's just salty. This is probably the worse pinakbet I've ever tasted. The taro leaves in the Laing were barely cooked too! Maybe the chefs need to spend a little more time cooking.Yeah not worth it for to-go/delivery! What a rip off!"
"I tried the longanisa pandesal, and it was delicious and fresh. It's 2 well known Filipino foods in one. Great concept !"
"My new fave Filipino spot. Good size portions and great menu like I am back in the Philippines. There was a banquet going on for a birthday so most of the restaurant was closed off. There were only a few tables for people to dine in.Will definitely come back. Kare kare was bomb!!"
"I came to the wrong restaurant looking for sisig. I meant to go to the belly boink but I came in here instead. This is the typical Filipino steam table food but also they have cook to order items that take about 15 minutes. Me and my mom did the typical point and make a box and I don't know what she ordered but the meat was a 5/5 for tenderness and flavor. It had a citrus and BBQ taste going on. I asked her what it's called and she said "if you see it again just point, idk what this is" I also tried one piece of turon. It was the freshest sweetest and crispiest I've ever had in the US.There are quite a few tables inside but it got busy and full fast. It's very casual inside. The parking lot looks like it can be a pain and indeed was pretty full when I left."
"Kainan sa Kanto is a "Turo Turo" (translation: point point) style Filipino restaurant. That means that the food is laid out like a fast food Chinese restaurant and you simply point at what you want. You can get lechon, tocino, Filipino BBQ, garlic rice, adobo, turon, and and all the classic, crowd pleasing Filipino staples at a pretty reasonable price and you take it to go. It's not intended to be a dine in restaurant in any way, but that's what it is. The food is reasonably priced, and they're open promptly at 7am, which is perfect if I want to pick up a lunch before work. Incidentally, this is why I come here: I come here at 7am before work for phone orders for catering for work potlucks. (Note: I order 1-2 days ahead). Today, I got a half tray of pancit bihon for $55. I've ordered lumpia Shanghai from here and it was also popular (though I'd recommend that you get your own sweet chili sauce from your local Asian market as the sauce isn't great from here). If you are looking for made to order Filipino food to dine in with friends, then this is not it. I believe food is cooked mostly in the morning, so your miles may vary depending on when you come in; however my experience for Filipino breakfast and lunch is pretty reliable and it's pretty convenient for my catering needs."
"The parentals and I came here just to check it out. My dad has always seen this place but never checked it out until I urged him to go in. The place is small. The staff was friendly. We ordered the inihaw (grilled meats on a stick). We got a few of the pork ear, pork intestines, chicken intestines, and fish balls. We noticed they have other items on the menu. We didn't order any of it because we just wanted a quick snack. By the way, each skewer was $1 and I believe they only have this available during the weekends. Anyhow, the pig ears were amazing. There was enough crunch because of the cartilage and then when you dip it in vinegar, it tastes even better. The intestines were okay. I'm not a fan but I still eat it. The fish balls were good. There was also kikiam, hot dogs, chicken and pork skewers - we didn't see this until we already paid. There's always next time. Overall, we will be back. The skewers were awesome and we now want to try the other dishes that they have."
"Don't sleep on this spot at the Redondo Beach Farmer's Market on Sundays!! The food may sound unfamiliar on the menu (I had never had West African food before - let alone West African-Filipino fusion), but it is DELICIOUS! Wow! And couple that owns the booth is so incredibly friendly. I was checking out the menu and they offered me a sample of whatever I wanted. A great way to introduce people to the food. I tried the eggplant omelette and the salmon. Both bursting with flavor. I wound up leaving with a chicken wrap, which I thought would be something smaller since I had already bought food from other booths. It was not small at all but packed with veggies and amazing flavors. Their sauces are perfection. I will definitely be returning to the market next time solely for that eggplant omelette."
"Great poke flavor on the signature bowl! Good portion. Looking to try their other dishes. Must try."
"This cafeteria style restaurant is located inside Tambuli Market. They have the traditional Filipino dishes. Gets my cravings satisfied lol."
"Ang sarap! One of the best filipino breakfast in the Cerritos/Artesia area! Located next to Power One and across from Yup Duk, in the same shopping center as Seafood City. It may look small, but these dishes pack a big taste! I love to order the 2 item breakfast combo: comes with garlic fried rice, and I usually get the fried bangus and longanisa. The bangus fish tail end is what I prefer versus the head and it comes with vinegar. I also love to order the pompano fish for either lunch or dinner as well as their menudo. It is a small place, so I prefer to pick-up the food and eat it at home. The service can be a little slow at times, but I am willing to wait when it comes to good food. So "long live" this filipino food establishment, Mabuhay Kitchenette, and may your hunger satisfaction be long lived!"
"Very good Filipino food - their dishes are some of the best cooking I've tried and they taste like they're homemade. My ultimate favorites are their Kare-kare with bagoong, Kaldereta, Bistek and Menudo. Some of the other dishes worth mentioning are their Adobong manok, Igado and another pork dish that had pineapple in it. The style of ordering is turo-turo or cafeteria style, which means you fall in line and point to the dishes you'd like to order. They have a la carte and combo offerings. Their combo can be two dishes with a rice. Their serving is very generous and everything is priced reasonably well. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try Filipino food or craving a taste of home."
"Had a surprise birthday celebration of my cousin here and the lady owner was very helpful in assisting us to prepare my reservation in a very short notice . We appreciate that they extended their hours to accommodate us . Thank you so much"
"A family-owned, downhome, mom and pop shop with THE best food. I saw their beef rib plate on social media and hearing that it is a Filipino/Hawaiian restaurant, we had to check it out. We ordered both the grilled beef ribs and the spicy garlic beef ribs. Both were very good but the spicy garlic beef is so full of flavor, I was happy that it came with zoodles and white rice with fried garlic on top to spread the flavor around. It really was love at first bite. It also comes with a mac salad and it was very good. They have a bar of different poke to choose from, much like delis in Hawaii serve them. We got the spicy soy tuna. Marinated long enough to pack a punch of flavor! Another friend in my party got the moco loco with a white gravy and they said it was very good. The moco loco comes with two eggs and Portuguese and it can easily be shared between two people.Service is excellent. The woman behind the counter is super friendly and I felt we were treated like family. It just adds soul to the place and food. Ambiance is super casual, often quiet as there is no TV playing (although I see evidence of karaoke) and no music playing. Overall, I love this place and can't wait to come back to try other dishes, particularly the tuna sisig."
"Home cooked food at its finest! We come here if we're lazy to cook. Reminds me of my family's cooking. Everything is cooked fresh. Soup is delicious! I love their Kari Kari! Can't wait to eat there again!"
"My boyfriend and I came for lumpia. Unfortunately, we didn't realize we had to call 30min in advance. Although, we came for lumpia we ended up getting goat and pork. The cashier let us sample the meat, and we walked out VERY happy. The food was amazing, and the cashier was kind. Support small business!"
"The best pork barbecues! Don't forget to get the suka! They also accept credit cards now but with a very minimal fee. Place looks and feels clean."
"I called to order maybe 3 lbs of Cebuchon which I had previously and knew how good it was. I came over to buy and was adviced that it would be cheaper to get the half one instead and I'm glad I did! It normally goes for $23/lbs of Cebuchon and the half was $78 I think anyway well worth it for my party of about 10 persons. They also make their own lechon sauce which is amazing. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Will be my go to for Cebuchon and Lechon Kawali etc."
"This place was originally named Magic Wok when I first went here. It is the same people that run it since the first time my Mom brought me here. They are friendly. The place could use a facelift. Ambiance is that of a "mom and pop" cafe.Food is always comforting. My staples are the Crispy Pata and the Pancit Canton..but I ordered the Pancit Sotanghon for my nephew. Also ordered another staple.. Shanghai Lunpia. My Dad had the Pinakbet. I liked it all except for the Sotanghon. I just like the other noodles but this one was fine. They really haven't changed their recipes since I have been going here so I'm happy about that.Usually a wait so try not to go across the way to Del Taco for a snack. LOL.Had the Halo Halo which is decent at $6.99. Refreshing on a hot day."
"If I could give no stars I would. Do not go here. Maybe if on a busy weekend night but Damn I fucked up and lost of $16 for a fucken 2 item plate.... first I off I was ignored for a long time while this lady put food from foil trays into metal pans for the line. They were all plastic wrapped so I'm assuming from the night before.... I should have left right there. It's almost 10am and they haven't even finished setting up the line yet they open 8am? Anyway, she proceeds to look at me and then say "what do u want" very rudely. And I asked if I could order, I was waiting by the register already for a while. Either way I got the Langonisa because I figured it should be fresh, it's morning. Can't go wrong with that and rice right ?No. My rice came out fucking ICE COLD!!!So they forsure kept it from the night before but 2hrs already into opening and no one could atleast microwave this shit before serving it ?And Langonisa was hard as a rock and had a sour taste. Was not sweet at all. This was the worst tasting Langonisa I have ever hadI also ordered crispy pork belly, atleast that was the one item that was warm. But some pieces you can just tell they were all old.... Waste of money but now I know to never come back."
