The atmosphere is welcoming, bartender gives you space or talks to you if you want. There's a juke box and a table. And the COLDEST beer I've EVER had. And Lemme tell you, I've been to a lot of bars/brewery's. They do NOT sell liquor, and have very few beers on tap, but It's totally worth stopping by and relaxing with friends."

There is a big community vibe going on. We even heard about bingo night and a couple other upcoming events. We hung out in the front area near the fireplace. There are board games, as well as arcade games available to play. You can download the app to pay for song to play on the digital jukebox. Plenty of room if in the dancing mood. A couple pool tables in the back. I had no idea there was a back patio area with several standing tables and plenty of standing space. The restrooms separate the spaces. The bartenders were nice and attentive. We were served right away.Had a great time laughing, playing games, and singing to our jukebox requested songs."

Just a beer and wine bar with locals, a pool table, 2 TVs, web jukebox, and shuffleboard. They have added an ATM over the last 20 years! They do make a few sandwiches and have pistachios, peanuts, pickled eggs, and assorted chips! Mike and Lisa do a great job with this laid-back and enjoyable spot. Lots of great memories from when we lived closer and visited more often. The locals treat all with respect. If you're looking for a place to wind down while you're in Seal Beach, you could do a lot worse than stopping at Dave's Other Place!"

The people here never have given me a problem, drunk or not, they're typically friendly. The bartenders here are the best (Maria is my favorite)! They're open early for all you early birds, if you play Darts, you'll probably play me here eventually as you're more than likely going to run into me here sooner than later lol"

There was a small group of people next to us at the bar eventually and we didn't stay long (long enough to chill for a few minutes with a drink and bounce). The vibe was definitely present. With its dark room, LED lighted theme, it was giving chill, dark alternative music vibes. You wouldn't be able to tell if it was night or day outside being in here which I love. I can see the potential later on in the night, especially during the weekend nights. The bartender was awesome. He made me a version of strawberry margarita that he hasn't made in a long time and nailed it! There was plenty of seating for groups to drink/party at. They appear to have themed events here regularly per their social media posts. Nice place!"

They have happy hour and their own signature drinks. I also notice a large amount of beers on tap. Tried a whiskey with coke and a Midori sour and they were very good. It's not small and it's not huge either but they have a full counter at the bar and tables with seating throughout. I noticed the great energy this place has with people talking and laughing and having a great time. The bartender was very pleasant. The icing to all of this is the free buttered popcorn. Nelisha R. "This is a locals-type sports bar where the bartender wears a string bikini. There's a juke box and some pool tables, but it's very much a quiet hangout spot. Not the kind of place to go and get rowdy. I went to have a couple drinks with a friend and just catch up, but don't think I'd do much else there. The bathroom stank of urine, but I guess that's to be expected at a primarily all male bar. I mean, if you live nearby and want to walk somewhere to get a few drinks, this is an OK spot. Otherwise, if you're looking for anything slightly nicer, this isn't it."

I used to get upset with him because we'd go here 2-3 times a week; but as I've gotten to know the bartenders and other locals, I have a deeper appreciation for this place. I've formed so many great friendships here. Some who I now consider family. It's not a typical dive bar. You can totally sit at one of their tables in the outdoor patio and have some mimosas on a sunny afternoon. There's a billiard room where they hold pool tournaments on certain nights. You're allowed to bring in outside food. There's a great pizza place across the parking lot, a liquor store and a donut shop all in the same plaza. And a UPS in case you have anything to ship. :) Bathrooms are clean, prices are fair, they have beer on tap and bottled, full stocked liquor and for the lightweights- white claws, trulys and corona seltzers. Great people, great spot. Love this place."

Adrianna D. "Definitely one of those "you can't judge a book by its cover" places. Yes, J King Neptune's is a dive bar that also serves delicious, premium quality food. They have several Neptune Fan Favorites designated on the menu and it doesn't make the decision any easier. Most of the entrees are served with choice of starter: salad with homemade dressing or award winning clam chowder; fresh steamed vegetables and choice of side: baked potato, rice or steak fries. We thoroughly enjoyed the Pepper Filet Mignon, with cracked pepper, mushroom, shallot and cognac cream sauce and Shrimp Scampi with fettuccine and garlic bread. Their starter green salad and homemade ranch dressing are what classic side salad dreams are made of. Prices were extremely reasonable for what we got. We also enjoyed chatting with our server, whose father opened the establishment over 50 years ago! This wasn't our first time here and definitely won't be our last. Grateful for this wonderful meal in a really cool, relaxed spot."

Gabe D. "The bayou is a hole-in-the wall bar in West Hollywood. It has the most fun vibe of all the bars in the rainbow district. What it is missing is the pretentiousness of the other mega clubs of the area. It's definitely a bar you don't want to miss if you're visiting from out of town. They have slushies infused with alcohol, beer bongs, Jell-O shot syringes, and a spin the wheel for a drink! And their happy hours are unbeatable. The bathrooms walls are plastered with memes, photos of Britney Spears, Ryan gosling, and others. And when you're visiting they will give you fluorescent paint pens to leave your signature on the wall of the bar! Also, they ask that you "Please don't do coke in the bathroom." Also, there's a dj on Fridays and Saturdays playing an eclectic mix of Beyoncé, Madonna, Taylor swift, Lana del Rey, Lizzo, katy Perry, cardi b, megan d stallion, Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, lady Gaga, and many other pop/rap/house hits. The manager's name is Graham and he's a really friendly and comes and talks to all the guests and the bar tenders are all great too.If you're visiting WEHO, do not skip The Bayou."

"Reno Room is a LB staple--open at the crack of dawn, the longshoreman love to start their days here--serving up affordable drinks, the food is pretty good, and the best micheladas in town, but only if the michelada is made by April! I stand by this statement. I don't get out much but when I do make my way to Reno Room, if April isn't working I'll come back for when she is. Always attentive, makes a mean strawberry margarita, serving up smiles & always wearing some really cute fits! You'll typically find regulars here sitting in their usual areas--guaranteed to make a friend at the bar top--someone is always playing the jams. People love to play pool here. The games are always playing here as well. This is definitely a local spot with flavor!"

Jesse C. "I came here Saturday night for a concert and I really liked this venue/Bar.For parking if you get here early and are lucky there is a small lot with parking spaces. If not it looks like there is street parking. As mentioned on their website DO NOT park in the auto zone parking lot. You will get towed. The doors opened at 8PM this night and they kept it on time. They check your ID as this is a 21 and over establishment and they do check as one person in front of me was denied entry for not having his ID.Once they check your ID they scan your ticket. its a pretty simple process. On this night the concert was sold out so there was a separate line for people who were trying to get tickets that were going to be available later on at night. Once you are scanned in you are at the patio where they have merch, one food vendor (or at least on this night as I've heard there is not always food) and some benches. Don't quote me on this but I would assume this is also a smoking area?On the right hand side is the entrance to the Bar. Its pretty small venue with a long bar and plenty of open area to stand and enjoy the concert. There is very limited seats I would say no more than 20/30 seats towards the back of the venue so if you need or want one get there right when doors open as these were all gone within 30 minutes or less of doors opening. The show started close to 9pm with 3 opening acts. Main act did not get on until about 11:15PM and they were on stage for about an hour.Drinks prices are not to bad but one weird thing is that the prices were not consistent. I ordered a Captain & Coke two times from one of the girl workers and was charged $9 but when I ordered from one of the guys he charged me $10 so not sure what happened there.I would for sure come back here to see another band here as its small and intimate venue."
