"Service is amazing! Food and value amazing . The chicken tortilla soup and burger was just as good as it was in the old days . Side note you can buy the red burger sauce to go . Amazing place."
"This restaurant is one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to enjoy! The service is outstanding. Two waiters served our table for every detail fullfilled. The manager came to us with congrats on our anniversary celebration! The whole evening my husband and I felt that we were in a royal court where the best skills in hospitality are well known and properly presented. On top of that, the food was spectacular! We ordered the butternut pumpkin soup and their presentatio of fresh raw oysters for starters; then a filet medallion topped with duck pate white truffels for main course. I can say that this quality of beef I have experienced only in the very historic end restaurant in Japan. If I could give this restaurant 10 starts, I would do it right away, because they deserve to be recognized on the highest level. Thanks to all staff who helped to make our anniversary special."

"the service was great, we got seated right away even for it being kind of busy. our waitress oliva was so sweet and attentive! i'm currently 9 months pregnant & really needed my bacon to be extra crispy, oliva had no problem making sure my bacon was perfect!! on top of the good service, our food was sooo yummy! make sure to order the pancakes they are super fluffy!"
"I really like how comfy this place feels like you're in a quaint little shop. The service is attentive and welcoming. The food is good, especially the potatoes. Instead of cubes of potatoes, they make thin crispy slivers. It's pretty good. I would only really knock down 1 star because of the price. It's a little too steep for diner food."
"Best customer service ever. The cook and the employees are very welcoming and generous. Thank you soooooooooo much for the best customer service ever!! We were just trying the food out and ended up falling in love with the best customer service and food quality and taste. Definitely, recommend it!! 5 stars!!"
"La comida en general esta muy rica todo es preparado en el momento , fresco y la attention es unica uno se siente como que esta en casa Recomendado 100%"
"After a bike ride down PCH this past weekend, my wife and I stopped by Woody's Diner in Sunset Beach for a bite--and we're so glad we did!She ordered the Eggs Benedict, and I went with the Texas Burger. Both were fantastic! The Eggs Benedict had perfectly poached eggs, a rich and creamy hollandaise, and a nicely toasted English muffin. My Texas Burger was everything you want in a burger--juicy, flavorful, and stacked with BBQ sauce, crispy onion rings, and bacon. It hit the spot after the ride! The diner has that classic beachy, laid-back vibe that makes you feel right at home. Service was friendly, and the food came out quickly despite it being a busy weekend morning. Definitely a solid spot for breakfast, lunch, or just to soak in that Sunset Beach atmosphere. We'll be back for sure!"
"Food was great, atmosphere was awesome. Ambience was good, however it was pretty windy. Service was a let down, we waited 20-30 minutes to get our order in. Eventually a nice lady came and helped us (she was not our server). Portions are huge, coffee is alright."
"So I have passed by this place so many times and it always looks closed so I never stop. We were in the area and starving, so after driving around we decided to make a stop since we saw it was open. The location is right on the corner in Bixby Knolls. The restaurant is like an old fashioned diner. They recently had some renovations done so it was great to see that it was open again. The atmosphere definitely gives off that 50s car hop vibe. I wish there was a bit more decor to set the scene. Our waitress was nice and took our order. Our food came out pretty quick which was a plus. I ended up ordering the biscuits and gravy with a side order of sausage. Everything tasted yummy. A few of the other items on the menu caught my eye so hopefully when we are in the area and trying to find somewhere to eat, we will stop here again. I heard the shakes are a hit and must try-so I will def be back."
"Are you craving some good old fashioned breakfast or lunch? This is the place to eat. Great service with a smile the entire time from all staff. Nothing fancy, nothing flashy, just good'ol tasty food."
"Thanks, Tanya, great customer service, and for the suggestion! We had the hamburger special, it was delicious! The place was well spaced, the seating was comfortable, from tables to booths, and they also have a drive-thru! We, the Betanzos Family, give this place 5 Stars"
"Came Saturday morning where it was very busy but there were plenty of seats outside to sit with my dog Max. Others had their dogs as well. Nice place in Old Torrance. The food was great! I loved how fluffy the biscuit was and the gravy made it even better. The country fried steak was delicious with just a thin layer of breading. The French toast is an excellent choice as well! Definitely want to come back to the other items on the menu."

Well there are lots of comfy booths. It was pretty busy-plenty of disabled parking. I ordered the New York steak. Size was o.k. came with veggies, salad or soup, and baked potato. I subbed hash browns for baked potato. Bleu cheese dressing on my salad. That little salad was great. I also got bread!Mine was 1 dollar less than most every meal/ breakfast I saw on the menu.I also got two onion rings a top my steak. We always leave pleasantly filled and ready for a nap. My wife ordered the chili Spaghetti and was just fine. Nice big water glasses too.

Service is top notch all around. From the moment we checked in, to getting escorted to the table, to ordering the food etc.... Everyone was so detailed. We even got a shuttle ride back to our casita after dinner so we don't have to walk in the cold. But that really couldn't make up for the food that was very one dimensional. We ordered the burrata (very tart and salty), squash soup , Iberico pork (the only good dish), diver scallops and a bottle of cab (they ran out of our first choice). One of the dishes gave us food poisoning!! We think it's the burrata. Hopefully the food quality improves .... Bc it's such a beautiful restaurant with great views and service.

This is our reliable go to place to get together for breakfast and great conversations while catching up with friends. Major old school diner vibes! The food comes out quickly and and is *a lot* of food with oversized portions of everything. The pancakes are fluffy and delicious and your coffee will never go empty with the fabulous customer service. Fun fact: If you bring in a mug for them to add to their collection, you get your coffee free the day you bring in the mug! They have an eclectic array of mugs from the CIA to the Rose Parade and everything in between and are looking for more!

I was happily greeted at the door. This location is a small area right off of PCH in Sunset Beach. It seems that there are a lot of regulars that visit here because the waitresses know them by name I ordered a Popeye skillet. I didn't love nor did I dislike it. It was just very meh.I think the potatoes should've been a little bit crispier and because they had spinach in it it made the potatoes a little bit soggy, and there was juice running from the skillet. Just an ordinary breakfast place. Nothing I would go out of my way for. Average, although service was good.

I've been to The Local Spot multiple times for brunch with friends. I'm not a drinker so I'm rating them only on food and service.Everytime I've eaten here, we've sat outside and if you get an umbrella, you're good. Otherwise wear sunglasses else the sun will likely be shining in your face. There aren't enough umbrellas for every table so be prepared just in case--for me, the umbrella makes a huge difference in how much I enjoy dining there. If you come during peak brunch, there can be a wait and the staff gets pretty busy so it's sometimes hard to flag them down for something. If you come later, the staff is very attentive as they are able to breath between customer requests. Finally, the food itself is decent. Nothing here strikes me as amazing but the price, quantity and quality are all very good. And when you're dining with friends, thats more than enough.

"It was a nice small place but very comfortable. The workers were so warm and friendly. The positivity and energy of the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. I mentioned about the temperature and immediately my words were taken to heart and I got what I needed immediately. Such a nice casual place with a beautiful family atmosphere. I just loved everyone. The atmosphere was actually so nice that it did help open me up better to fellow diners and we all had such beautiful conversations. So i would recommend social . Food Ohoo at breakfast diners I usually order the same thing which is breakfast burritos. It was unique to me be a most breakfast burritos I had would contain chorizo which can be a bit to heavy for me and too salty and yes beans. This was nice and lighter. They also had home made salsa . I'd recommend it. Prices were very nice ."
"Son said the Frisco Fire burger was ok. He wasn't too happy with the bread being chewy. The classic cheeseburger was underwhelming. The best items were the zucchini and onion rings. We place our order at the front and it was brought to our table by an employee on skates. We enjoyed the 50's themed decorations."
"Food was very tasty. The place needs some TLC for sure. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall I would go back."
"Me and my Daughter decided to hit this place up.... ( order food from here) There was a family in the dining area and no one in line so we went straight to ordering. The young lady asked if this was our first time and we said yes. She was extremely patient with us. We ordered quite a few things-Curry chicken plate ( Rice & peas, steamed veggies)-Jerk Chicken plate ( Rice & peas, veggies)-Side of plantain ( pronounced like MOUNTAIN with a "P")-Beef patty -curry Chx pattyAnd coco breadEverything was delicious... nice and spicy ands flavorful ( just enough kick) , the chicken was moist the plantain was semi firm and sweet just how I like it.... My daughter loved the curry and the potatoes were just right not mushy at all! My only hang up was that it was hot as hell in the lobby, well that day itself was a hot one but it gave us a chance to sit outside. It was a bit of a wait But!! When dealing with good food there's always a wait, trust me you won't be Disappointed. Thank you everyone for the experience"
"Absolutely obsessed with this place, especially their happy hour!!! When I first discovered it I was mad it took me so long. Every single thing I have eaten here has been incredible!!! The bar area is small but it's a lovely atmosphere and the staff makes you feel like family. I go out to eat alone a lot and being here makes me happy."
"The absolute best hash browns I've ever had!! Biscuits and gravy were delicious, service was great!!"
"We need to come back here more often! We came on a Tuesday around 12pm and were sat right away. We sat inside as most people did because of the heavy wind. Our sever was very polite and we got our food pretty fast. I got the eggs Benedict and hash browns which were delicious, my cousin got the machaca and eggs, and my boyfriend got the buffalo chicken salad (not on the website but still on the menu). Most tables have a nice view of at least a few of the Old Town Orange buildings which I think give it a cute, trendy, cozy vibe."
"I've been meaning to write a review for this place for a while now, and I'm so glad I finally took the time to do it. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a great experience. The customer service at is truly second to none. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always goes above and beyond to make sure you feel like a valued guest. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, they make you feel at home. Now, let's talk about the food--absolutely amazing! The burgers are hands down some of the best I've ever had. The patties are juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The variety of toppings and sides makes each visit an exciting experience, and everything is served fresh and hot. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cheeseburger or something a little more adventurous, they've got you covered.Every time I visit, I'm blown away by the combination of great food and top-notch service. If you're craving a delicious burger and want to be treated with the utmost care, this place is a must-try!Highly recommend! I can't wait to come back again !"
"You order at the counter and they'll serve the food to your table. I got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The grilled chicken was flat and a little dry but the rest of the sandwich was good. The highlight of Johnny Rockets had to be the milkshakes. They're give you a good amount and it's so sweet and creamy. Exactly like ice cream! Soooo delicious!! There's some tables and bar seating here. The restroom is located outside."
"Still a local favorite. Had a vegetable omelette that I requested turn into a scramble with a side of hot links. Service and food are always on point."
"Ozzie's Diner is a real 1950's diner. It is not a newer nicer dressed up to be a 50's diner. It is the real thing. It is family owned. They serve wonderful comfort food, just like you would get in any great diner. They also have a full bar.The place is so cute and comfortable. There is a counter and great booths. It is spotless inside and out. There is not a bad meal to be had there. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their breakfast fare is great. Their pancakes are fluffy and wonderful. Their hash browns are divine. You have to try their biscuits and gravy. Their waffles are super tasty. We especially love their burgers. They are cooked to order just the way you might want them. Their fries are great and they have a chili that is wonderful. The mac and cheese is so very good. They can make a great salad. You will love their beefeater sandwich. They have a menudo soup that is just the best.Parking is easy and free. The service is fast and very friendly. All of the staff is great. You will love this place."
"Came in with a couple girlfriends for dinner a couple weeks ago and we ordered the tuna tataki special and edamame to start which were delicious. Had an iced green tea and put in our orders of Jessica Alba specialty roll and two spicy tuna rolls and a rainbow roll. They were all delicious loveee the Jessica Alba roll!! Fresh sushi and everything was so yummy. Server seemed a little frazzled and was a little short wasn't that busy but overall had a great dinner"
"But don't you worry 'bout a thingDon't you worry 'bout a thing, mama'Cause I'll be standin' on the side...5/5 parking. Lots of available street parking. We were fortunate enough to come when parking was free. After getting off a flight we wanted some breakfast. 5/5 Service. The Kettle has coffee and little baked muffins while you wait. We waited a hot second before getting seated. They provided little wax sticks for the kids, thank you! We got to eat most of our meals before the kids began to lose interest. We sat inside but they have both indoor or outdoor whatever you'd like. 5/5 The kettle. The breakfast potatoes were really good and the brand muffin was so good I wanted another one. I was quite full but not food coma status. If you're in the area and want breakfast or lunch, they have a lot of options to choose from. God bless"
"This place was right around the corner from a jobsite of ours. We gave it a try and we weren't disappointed! Very friendly service, good was amazing! I literally almost licked the plate clean! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone is this area."
"Visited this place for breakfast one morning during our stay in San Pedro close to the harbor. We were seated immediately. The restaurant isn't particularly elaborate, but the food was outstanding. Generous portions and incredibly tasty! The staff was exceptionally welcoming. The establishment was tidy and adequately staffed. There's an outdoor seating area too. Everything was superb! The service, food, and ambiance were all impressive. The cinnamon swirl pancakes were amazing! The bacon was cooked just right, along with the eggs. We will probably return in the next few days while we're in town."
"Visited Woodys for brunch with our running crew. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our table. The wait for the food was about 20 min but all our 6 meals were brought out together. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was 10/10. The eggs and bacon with hash brown was also tasty. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. Will be coming back when in the area."
"Our first time here. And let me tell you, the food was so good. I didn't even get to take a picture. Even the refried beans were good, I don't like eating beans at restaurants. But everything is home made, and so yummy. It's a much try if your in the area. Our server was Josh he was very sweet, he might of been newer to the restaurant but he did an awesome job."
"God Daaaaammmm what a burger!!!! The best price and the best burger!!!!! Highly recommended !"
"Platters - single meal plan - can ask for a plastic cover if you don't finish your food. 10 tables inside and 9 tables outsideI wasn't interested in the Knotts Scary Farm featured item: the salad((No more onion rings! Sad face.))I just wanted something safe, not too big or heavy, today, so I opted for the chicken tenders (crunchy, not heavily battered, not greasy) while the loves got the cheeseburgers. Our choice of side: french fries (other choices: chips, side salad). I got ranch, ketchup, & bbq sauce from the dispensers. They got lettuce & pickles for their burgers. It was very good. Hubby really likes the cheeseburger here. We had a lot of fries so we got a cover to take it home.(We've been here when it was crowded and they ran out of certain items.)(We are pretty happy with the single meal plan - we have a good range of choices. Boardwalk BBQ had a sign that said they were closed. So glad that there is a food waste bin at almost every eatery. Kudos to Knotts.)"
"Honestly, it was easy to understand the low ratings from afar before going here. Not much of a vibe or niche, with Tex-Mex-y fare that seems more of the standard grade Mexican offerings you'd find outside of California and a decor that feels a bit beige. However, having been invited to La Casa Garcia selected for an extended family catch-up, I was forced to walk in with an open mind. Would it be possible to escape with a decent order for the evening?Happy to report that my order of a steak picador ($19.95) definitely made for a salvaged meal. This entree comes with a salad, and a rather sizable one. The main dish itself was everything I hoped for, with beef that was not overcooked, decently portioned, and reasonably flavored thanks to the pool of sauce it swam in. Rice and beans (topped with some cheese) made for a nice round out.In brief, it seems possible to eat perfectly decently here, though I don't find myself rushing back on my own volition with the quality and quantity of Mexican options around north OC"
"I was a first timer at dalesDecided to finally give this place a try. they have a great amount of private parking up close (they do share it with other businesses) As soon as I walked in it was extremely busy but a waitress came up and told us a booth just opened and she would clean it right away for us. She wasn't kidding. she was extremely fast but she was really thorough with cleaning the booth and the table. Breakfast is served until 2 pm I believe on the weekend, so we had to get some of their loaded country potatoes/ hash browns, and then ordered lunch items. (Bacon cheeseburger and a French dip)The only two things I didn't like were the potato salad, I did have to send that back. They were really nice about it and took it off my bill. And since we ordered two sandwiches with fries and onion rings I don't think they should have charged us for a side of ranch. I think one side of dipping sauce should come with your meal. (Only two downsides)The banana split was out of this world. They had all the classic diner food and dessert. After we ordered the banana split one of the waitresses came to double check if anyone has peanut allergies. So it's always great when staff takes this serious. Everyone in here was extremely friendly, they have very large portions and they also offered a military discount. I would 1000 percent be back"
"This place has been one of my top favorite brunch spots to come to. I've been coming here for a good 8 years now, I just now noticed I never put a review for it! Crazy that I haven't post before. I want to start off by saying the food always has good flavor. The carnitas chilaquiles are my favorite, this time I couldn't choose between that one or the chef Vic green chilaquiles so my server asked if I could get half and half and so I did thanks! It was amazing! I told my server we liked the brioche and the churro waffle but were undecided on which to get, she informed me they were able to do the brioche French toast churro style and omg! It did not disappoint! The fluffyness of the bread and the sweet churro sauce made the perfect combo. ( we ended up getting two!)As for the ambiance, the place is bright has background music that can be pretty enjoyable not too loud, just enough to hear but you're able to hear everyone else as well. The place keeps pretty clean and the art on the walls is nice. This place will keep being on my books, and definitely returning once again"
"Who would have thought a small, rinky, hole in the wall Mexican diner would offer one of the best chicken fried steaks!! Being from the south, I grew up on hearty breakfasts. Everything loaded with gravy. Carlito's CFS did not disappoint!! Crispy chicken steak smothered, no, drowning in sausage gravy! For the price you really get a large portion too. It included 3 eggs made your way, I opted for hashbrowns and a side of toast. The diner itself is very tidy and clean. Excellent customer service. Upon entry, go to the counter to place your order then they will bring your food out."
