"Delicious Indian dishes on 2nd Street. Very quaint little place with some outdoor seating. I love the lighting inside. I would say it's a great date spot, but also a cool place to meet with friends and family. There are literally 143 menu items! It was tough to pick just one, but I went with the Jeera Aloo. My friend chose the Aloo Gobi. Both were perfectly flavored. We picked mild for our spicy level, which had just the right amount for us. There were some street food options too, so we ordered the Bhel Puri in that section, and it was so good! There was a very holiday tasting spice in that one. It was a perfect plate for the season. I definitely recommend!"
"Loved the food, I ordered a Pandan Grass Jelly with light sweetness. The grass jelly had no flavor but that's just how grass jelly is. The milk was slightly sweet and really good. It was more of a textural dessert than a flavorful one, but overall I loved it!The place itself had lots of seating and it was completely full on a Friday night. I don't have much to say about the service since I ordered on the self order machine, but the staff seemed really nice and helpful. Super nice ambience of the store and nice place to hang out on a late night."

"Come here!! (not the touristy places on PCH). The food is excellent, quick service, even when there's a line out the door, and great prices. We used to come here in 2014 when we lived here. We were very happy to see it's still outstanding and Carlos and staff are working hard and excellently after 10 years!"
"Went there a few times. Big fan. All pies are awesome. Don't take it from me, the first time I went there was an hour before closing. They were still baking pies. Most places would have stopped baking long ago to reduce spoilage. But apparently this place sells so much they're still baking pies an hour before close. That was my signal that this is my go to place for pies. Can't decide, get a piece of each and order the frankenpie."
"This place is so Gluten-free celiac friendly! It's right next door to a great Gluten-free bakery so they know their audience. My family ordered bun and all the meats were flavorful and delicious. It's exciting to find a safe and tasty place to eat!"
"Our Thai spot when I visit the in-laws. It's owned by the same company as "Sushi on Fire" and while we've been here several times we've never tried either of their sushi locations.Duck Noodle: Noodles with roasted duck (Skin on), bean sprouts, green onion, cilantro, and garlic sauce. My favorite, very nice soy sauce based broth, overall noodle soup tasted clean and not heavy.Potak: (Hot & sour seafood soup) Thai spicy soup with seafood in a spicy broth of lemongrass (Shrimp, fish, calamari, and mussel). Delicious and a good option for seafood lovers, my wife uses their version as the bar for tiwhr places. Pad Thai: pan-fried noodles with egg, bean sprouts, cooked in sweet and tangy sauce garnished with crushed peanuts. Noodle were perfectly cooked and not falling apart, consistent for takeout or in-person dining.Shrimp Blanket: Marinated shrimp rolls with wonton skin served with sweet and sour sauce. Nice and crunchy, tasted great with the sweet and sour sauce."
"Ice cream was super good I got the coffee and cookies and I loved it! We also got the Horchata which was very creamy and good."
"Simply fantastic. My wife and I stopped for lunch after visiting mom at Avenue Italy. We started with drinks and the eggplant parmesean for an appetizer, and wow, it was fantastic. Ernesto, our server, was amazing, professional, and friendly. The young man bussing tables was also kind and quite efficient. This place is a favorite when we are in the area. The decor and interior are quite exquisite and impressive. We sat in the patio and had a nice ocean breeze. For one entrees my wife had the branzino entree, and I had the salmon entree. Both dishes were well presented and prepared with flavor and perfectly seasoned. My compliments to the chef. This is a wonderful restaurant, and the food, service, and ambiance are stellar. Highly recommended."
"We loved the bold and tangy flavor of the BBQ sauce on the loaded fries. 10/10 would get again. The chicken pot pie soup did not come out hot.. maybe Luke warm at best. However, their biscuits in the center really make the soup taste good. I loved the buttery mash potatoes so I wish I got one of those meals instead. I got lucky and was brought inside to eat for my reservation and it really keeps the noise out so you can really refresh from Disneyland and get a second wind for the rest of your day. Get the 2 or 3pm reservation to recharge !The servers are really attentive and super nice.I wish there was a restroom in the building - just doesn't make sense to me not to have one for guests eating in at these type of restaurants."
"This review is for DiegoDiego offered fantastic service. He was very knowledgeable in all Funnel House products and had great energy. With his help I ordered an ice cream sandwich Delicious!"
"Delicious and beautiful cakes for any occasion that are easy to serve. The service is excellent, they really go above and beyond to make sure you get something special. Highly recommend!"
"GO HERE!! They give you HUGE scoops!! $8 for two scoops?! We got the mint choco chip and cookie and cream - delicious. I can taste the use of coconut milk in the mint chip and I loved the addition of cinnamon in the cookies and cream. We didn't even know it was vegan too. The gentleman at the counter was so friendly and nice. I'll go back for sure!I dig the Tupac theme too!"

Just tried this place, and it was really good! The food was really good and you can pick the level of heat you prefer. The service was excellent and the staff (I think were the owners) were so nice and definitely helpful. It's cute and quaint, and has street parking. They also offer a buffet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11-3, which I'm looking forward to trying.

My 1st time at Bake & Che. Traveling on a business trip, I had the weekend to explore little Saigon and decided to try the Che here and I got the house special with no durian and peanuts. It was so good. Loved it. Only regret not trying the flan. I will definitely go back if I'm in town again.

Generous portions, good food. It's a busy little hole in the wall place, but they crank to get everyone served. Our party sat on the patio and enjoyed the food and conversation. There's ample parking. I would recommend and we'll be back.

Great pies in Long Beach! We stopped by Laurie's Pie Bar this afternoon to pick up pie slices to enjoy after we saw Book of Mormon. I got ube coconut and my mom got key lime. I could taste the ube flavor and the combination with coconut made it not super sweet or heavy. I often find cheesecake too heavy for me but this was not the case. My mom liked the key lime flavor, which I noted when I tried a piece. We loved the crust! Though we didn't get them this time, we noticed they have pet friendly pies. The employee who helped us was friendly and helpful. She was patient with our questions as first timers. I'd come back for sure if I'm in Long Beach again and would recommend others to do the same!

It's been awhile since I've been wowed by Thai food and omg did this place deliver. I have been on a mission to find the best drunken noodles and I think I just found the spot. My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday evening and were seated almost immediately. We ordered the rotee for our appetizer and got the pad Thai level spicy and drunken noodles medium spicy as our entrees. Both dishes were super flavorful and delicious. I was surprised how yummy the drunken noodles were considering how I've been to other Thai restaurants and felt it was bland more often than not. Definitely didn't happen here. My boyfriend's pad Thai was phenomenal, it's tied for our favorite spot in LA.The food came out in 10-15 min. The servers were great and kept refilling our waters without asking. Vibes were chill, will come back for sure.

Located in a big shopping plaza. Plenty of free parking. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Ordered the chicken piccata. Absolutely delicious. Chicken was cooked to perfection, was thin and tenderized. The sauce and the capers took this chicken to a whole different level. Highly recommend.

"Just as good as any funnel cake from the fair. Super hot and fresh and they have at least 20-30 different flavors that all sounded good. The fried oreos were bomb as hell."
"Came here with a party of 4 on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30PM. Was told it would be an hour wait; however, we were seated after 20 minutes. All seating is outdoors, and they have seasonal menus that change every so often. There is a bakery inside where you can purchase baked goods. Their cookies are delicious. I want to try their pastries next time.Food: -Mafaldine (nonna ginell's bolognese, percorino basil $23) 5/5 This was delicious! Had the perfect amount of salt, meat, and tomato sauce with cheese and basil as a garnish. Would definitely get this again.-Winter Panzanella (burrata, nonna vinaigrette, chicory, squash, dried cherries $19) 3/5. The vinaigrette was a little too bitter for my friends and my taste. We wouldn't get it again.-Spaghetti (nduja, pomodoro, pecorino, rosemary $22) 4.5/5 The spaghetti is what you expect but a little elevated. Personally, I would get the Mafaldine again over the spaghetti.-Tonnarelli Alla Carbonara (guanciale, egg, cracked pepper $23) 4/5 This pasta was the prettiest out of the 3. If you like more white/creamy based sauces, you should get this pasta. -Baked eggs (tomato & sweet pepper stew, goat ricotta, toasted bread $17 5/5) This is basically a shakshuka. I love tomatoes in general, but the flavor in this stew was delicious. The bread is also one of the better breads I've ever had. -Frites w/ Bearnaise Sauce $9 (3/5) Unfortunately, the fries were soggy. The sauce was also under seasoned. I wouldn't order this again.TLDR: Order the mafaldine if you like tomato sauce/Bolognese pastas OR if you like white sauce/creamy egg pastas then you should order the Tonnarelli Alla Carbonara.Also-- get their bread from the bakery. The country bread was amazing and tasted like one of the best sourdough breads I've ever had."
"I know what you are thinking. The girl born on literal national dessert day definitely has tried crumbl cookie! And the answer is no. I'll tell you why, because I don't like standing in lines having to fight for my food. Luck was on my side and it wasn't packed like usual. There was still a pretty good amount of people here on a Tuesday around 1:30 pm. I walked in and you can see all the workers baking all the cookies. I do like the open kitchen / seeing them bake everything concept. But I didn't like how there was no interaction from the staff. Nobody greeted me or anything. You order from a kiosk and then they call your name and just hand you over the cookies. They didn't say anything. It just made it feel like a factory and not very warm. Especially since I was a first timer and couldn't ask questions like what their recommendations areIt's cool they have different cookies for different weeks. They were sold out of the one I wanted. I went with a 4 packThe churro cookieThe monster cookieThe cookie dough cookieAnd the plain chocolate chipI really wanted to try these because I've heard sooooooo many mixed reviews on themI did think they were good. But would I get them all the time? No. I think there's better dessert places out there. I do think they are over hyped on social media I do like the parking. I got parking right up close. They are in a huge area with tons of other bakeries and restaurants I also am a baker myself. I do like how they are soft. When I bake cookies I usually take them out a minute or two early and have them finish cooking on the cookie sheet so it's a bit soft like these. Because i will say they were a little under done. But I do like a soft chewy cookie. Usually that's people's main complaint I see about them. Or that they are too sweet I just wish there was more interaction fromStaff and you could ask questions If they come out with some flavors that I absolutely have to try, I'll definitely come back! Or if I know a cookie lover I'd grab them some from here."
"Came here for the pupusas, and there is definitely a lot to pick from! The cheese is key, and it was on point! I had an Asada pupusa which is different than your usual add ons but it was great! They had international pupusas, so different add ins in the pupusa from that particular country which is a great idea! We'll definitely be coming back to try their full on breakfast plate. Great customer service as well."
"Simply the best Detroit style pizza in Orange County in my opinion. My go to is the Eliot which is a simple peperoni pizza. However, the real star of the show to me is the sourdough crust that really can make or break a Detroit style pizza, this is so pillow soft and fluffy it is incredible. Service is always outstanding, so friendly, so happy to help. It is a smaller shop with not a lot of table space, but they are located just steps from the pier and ocean so plenty of options to take it with you to a beautiful view. I have done this many times."
"We ordered fresh shrimp rolls and pad see ew shrimp and both were delicious. Prompt service and piping hot food...enjoy. This is a mom and pop storefront but has a 64 seat capacity. Simple decor and very clean and tidy."
"My wife and I are regulars. Their food has never made us sick. They have local citizens working for them and this also is giving back to the community. Their Ambiance needs some help, but do not judge them by the outside. We need them to add Shakes to their menu and then I won't have to drive to another Ice Cream shop ex. Baskin & Robbins on Imperial hwy@ S Western Ave"
"Nicely decorated place especially for Lunar new year. Coffee is great and has a wide variety of selections"
"O.M.G. the people here should get a raise for serving up duck delicious food!! I had a bbq western type burger (sorry, no pics cuz I was hungry. Lol. Anyhow, highly recommended. The inside was really well kept and the crew was really nice. Definitely coming back!"
"11/5/2023 This is a combined review from visiting the past two times. Both on a weekday. Warning: This is a long review. ** Be mindful of the hours! They open at 8:00am, but close at 1:00pm or 2:00pm daily depending on the day. So keep that in mind before you decide to drop by! ** All their baked goods such as scones and bagels are made in-house and will be fresh out of the oven at 9:00am every day! But they do not refresh their baked items in their display case, so it's first come, first serve until sold out! So come in around that time if you want to grab any of those items. DROP BISCUIT SANDWICHWarm, buttery, flaky garlic cheddar drop biscuit with thinly sliced ham, cream cheese and melty, gooey cheddar cheese. This was so good! It was the perfect size too! These are to die for! JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR BAGEL Deliciousss! Made in-house and it shows! Lovely springy bagel bread sprinkled with jalapeño and cheddar. Bagel is not thin, but has a beautiful spongy bite to it. Toasted or untoasted, it was delicious with or without cream cheese. When toasted, delightfully crunchy on the outside and bread is still chewy and not dry. PUMPKIN SPICE LATTEThis was good, although there was more nutmeg than cinnamon, which was kinda' sad. However, loved the frothy creamy milk. If only there was more flavor overall. COFFEE CAKE SCONEI'm gonna say it again. Deeeelicioussss! Fluffy and soft with the outside layers having a light crunch! Enjoyed every bite!Yes, it does taste like coffee cake, but subtle in flavor. If you didn't know the name, you'd probably think it's a cinnamon scone. But still more buttery than cinnamony. CHOCOLATE CHIP SCONEThis had a good amount of choc chips in each bite! However, I realized that the freshly baked scones do not taste the same after a few hours. Texture-wise still moist and biscuit-like in some areas, but some parts were dry. Unfortunate because the Coffee Cake Scone was a completely different experience! Scones should be consumed ASAP. Get there early to grab a scone or two fresh! BREAKFAST SANDWICHYes, gonna say it again! This was deeelicioussss! Recommended to me by the barista, so I had to try it! Fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage patty (a bit thin though), gooey melty cheddar cheese on a soft buttery brioche bun! Heavenlyyy! I don't think this is offered daily, as I did not see this on the daily menu, so if you see it, order it without a second thought! Eat it right away! Once you try it, you'll be dreaming of them daily! CALI BLTWanted to try an avocado toast and it seems this was the only toast on the menu with avocado in it. But didn't realize bacon was added too, hence the BLT. Their house-made sourdough bread was absolutely crunchy, spongy, delightful! Super delish! That bread was so good and that crusty cheddar melted on top! The toppings were okay and wished it was a simpler toast with maybe heirloom tomatoes, smashed avocado, sea salt, black pepper and sprinkled with olive oil. CHEDDAR BAGEL (with Garlic Herb Cream Cheese)Toasted, it was perfectly chewy and lightly crunchy cheddar top on the outside. It was perfect as it was! The garlickly chunky herbed cream cheese was delicious with the bagel. I am officially a fan of their bagels! Not buying them elsewhere! CAPPUCCINO (Hot)Overall decent flavor. Steamed milk was perfect. BROWNIEThe brownie was moist with a crumbly top. Good cocoa and semi-sweet chocolate flavor coming through! PEANUT BUTTER CUP LATTE (Hot)This had a lovely peanut butter flavor and had the right amount of sweetness! Enjoyed this! Ordering again next time! My new favorite coffee and bakery shop in Long Beach! Coming back for many more visits! AMBIANCE / SEATSSuch a peaceful and quiet ambiance. Quiet music playing in the background. Cozy vibes. Lots of chairs and tables too! This place does not get crowded, so if you want a quiet place to study or work on your labtop, this is the place for it all! "We were craving Turkish food so we decided to make the trek out to try this place. It's a casual eatery with a few tables. If you are a large party, I would suggest ordering takeout instead. We ordered:Lentil soup - a nice way to start the meal and warm up your stomach for feasting! It's smooth, creamy, and delicious!Beef baguette - our favorite item! Tender cuts of beef with salad and amazing sauce. The beef was juicy and had a slight kick of spice to it. The baguette was fresh and soft, not the type that cuts the roof of your mouth. Beef & lamb bowl - my kids loved this the most. 2 large kabobs of flavorful meat over rice and salad. They gobbled this up - toddler approved! I also loved the flavor of the meat as well, almost like it had blue cheese in it. Ayran - Yogurt drink - it's perfect for washing down spicy foods and also great for digestion after eating too much! It's a staple when we eat Turkish food. They also have complimentary black tea available in the canisters which is a huge plus to drink with your meal.Kunefe - our favorite dessert. It's a crunchy noodle pastry with cheese, sweet syrup, and toasted pistachios. The perfect way to end a meal. The owner was so sweet and gave us recommendations and also gave us some food for our hungry kids while we were waiting. He also turned on cartoons for the kids to watch, since they were getting a little crazy. All of the food was freshly made, with the right amount of spice, and delicious. The food is authentic and delicious on its own, not overly disguised with sauce like the more Americanized places. The portions were generous and prices were on point for the quality of food. Highly recommend this place. We will be back to try the other dishes."
"Service was fast! Drinks and donuts are delicious. Place was cute and its in a plaza."
"WHAT A GEM! This place is amazing. We spent a few days in Long Beach after evacuating during the LA Fired and stumbled upon Charm. Every dish we ate was perfect. Best pad see ew we've ever had. Kao soi was great, super tender chicken and incredible broth. The mango sticky rice stole the show at the end as well."
"Have been knowing NP for several decades and have been many times but didn't write a review!? Consistency is the key that NP has been doing so perfectly!! All Clay Pot Rice with all kinds of favorite are doing so delicious and the temperature are just right on!! Hot enough but not too bad, self made soy sauces made those hot rice so tasty!! Unfortunately the desserts I liked Steamed Egg and Steamed Milk with Ginger Syrup were sold out!! Then I just have a cold taro taro sago... still tasty, but Steamed Egg or Milk are the best for Chinese desserts...I ordered Spareribs and Chinese Sausage Rice n Winter Melon Ice Tea!!! Delicious foods and a warm night in the winter!!"
"We are here twice a month on average. Love the variety of hot and cold desserts. Gets pretty crowded on the weekends."
"I started coming here for boozy bingo but keep coming back for the amazing food, cocktails, and staff. My friends and and I have probably tried 60% of the menu between the 3 of us and are never disappointed. I'm not a tator tot person but they make the tastiest tator tots I've ever had. Their fries are great too. I recommend both. The lychee splash and Hermosa Breeze are our favorite cocktails. I like that there are various styles of places to sit. You can choose from regular table, high top table, bar, booth seating, or couch. Everyone that works there is very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Bartender is great! So if you ever need a cool place to meet friends, I recommend Decadence. I also recommend it if you want to play some fun bingo by the beach."
"Came across this hidden gem while shopping in the area. All the food here from the plates to the hummus to even the desserts were made fresh. Lady took her time in making the entire plates, and she did an amazing job making it fresh. The Lamb was cooked to perfection with the right amount of flavor, and the beef was juicy with rich flavors. The salad even tasted delicious along along with the pepper. Service was excellent, and she even gave us free baklava, which was very appetizing with the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend this spot."
"I had read on instagram that Tony's Kitchen was open on Thanksgiving day and children were able to dine for free. I was so impressed with their generosity to the community that I made a point to visit today for my first time. Total success in every way. Greeted and served by Lizette - and she was excellent! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious! We had Calamari, Chicken Parm, Spaghetti w/meat sauce and outstanding Tiramisu for dessert. I will definitely be returning!"
"Great Mexican food and service. This is our second time trying the Menudo and café de Olla... highly recommend. The tres leches dessert is tasty."
"Had brunch with friends here. Ordered the chilaquiles con carne and French toast. Everything was delicious and service was great."
"Never have a had an issue with food. Food has always been great. However, I have been to John's many, many times and each time the tall, bald, chubby white man helps me out, he's always got to have a grumpy and rude demeanor. I typically place an order online. When I go to pick up, he stares at me until I say good morning. Last time I can remember, I thought I was supposed to be greeted as the customer. Anywho, I let him know I am here to pick up my order. I still get a blank stare. So I go to the next window where I'm told I have to go back to the same window I was at previously. Ridiculous! This happens every time."
"They did an AMAZING job and it came out exactly how we requested it. They were able to accommodate a short notice and totally exceeded expectations. Amazing customer service. Definitely coming back to them for our next event."
"Place is clean and has relaxing vibe. Got the Dubai strawberries cup... it was good but not worth the hype and cost. I gave it a try and gotta say that it tastes like a KitKat with strawberries."
