"I love bagels, so I've had my fair share of bagel shops and let me tell you, I would drive an hour from south OC just for these bagels. First time I tried it, I got the joes and thought I'd be happy going home with just this. What a regret that was. I ate while driving and after some time I really wished I got more bagels or cream or tried some other stuff for later because it was soo good but so far away. Props to the employees for accommodating me and my questions because I really didn't know what to get with so many options. His recommendation was what I ended up getting and ultimately what I'll be coming back for when I am in the area!"

This cute and pleasant juice bar is located in Los Alamitos right off Katella. There is parking in the back if you're unable to snag a spot in the front. There is always 2-3 workers here with smiles and fresh faces. Everyone is polite, welcoming and the service is fast! They're more than just organic juices, they also make Açaí bowls and smoothies. Prices are steep, but don't be cheap with what you eat. Your body will thank you when you nourish it with Simply O. I grabbed a BeetStreet and a Hummingbird bowl to go and it did NOT disappoint. The servers, along with the cat robots, are pretty attentive and stop by to refill your drinks/banchan regularly. Note: there are 7 spice level options on the menu I got a medium spice level which ran on the milder side, so I recommend getting spicy if you have moderate spice tolerance!"

My husband and I have been coming here for years, even after we've moved away. My husband swears by their mocha and if you're in the mood for baklava, it's to die for at The Coffee Tale. 100% recommend this place.

Coffee is solid here not trying to be funny at all. They roast delicious coffee beans and serve good quality espresso drinks. I was really bummed when they closed down their location in Bellflower. It was my go to spot on the weeks that I was at the hospital. Today I was excited to try the purple dream ube latte. This is made with ube extract not that fake plasticity stuff. Daniel the barista made the perfect drink for me. I really appreciated him for stopping to make make sure that I was happy with my drink. I wanted it less sweet and he got it spot on. Thank you Daniel! There was a pop-up called Sunkissed bakery today. I love when they collaborate with other local businesses. Keep that sh*t up!

Cassidy's Corner has the best bagels in the area. I wish I lived closer!Their bagels are made in-house and are so fresh in the mornings. You know a spot is good when servicemen/construction workers come by. I really like the Joe's special! The jalapeño cream cheese and lemon pepper seasoning combo is GENIUS. I need to come back for this bagel sandwich alone. The staff is really friendly! Plenty of parking and tables indoors for dine-in. Come support your local bagel shop!

2/365 Review 1.02.25Came here on Xmas eve for lunch w my mom & family. 12.24.24It was a raining day and Tofu soup sounded like the perfect meal for the cold day.I was finally able to dine at a restaurant with the Cat Robot server. It brings you your side/Banchan dishes. What we Ordered ~ the Seafood Tofu soup was good.~ Bulgogi was a bit on the sweeter side.Banchans were ok. I've had way better. My husband also mentioned the kimchi wasn't the best. There was only 2 server this afternoon. Service was a bit slow.It was pretty busy and constant flow of incoming traffic. Restaurant is big and spacious w booths tables and regular tables. In the same plaza as the Honey Pig. Lots of parking available.Tip Get on the Guestlist thru YELP to save time on wait.

I'm forever thankful for Michelle LFor telling me about the app- too good to go I was in the area and needed some donuts for a family get together and saw this place. They are featured on the app and sell surprise boxes that they didn't sell at the end of the day for a discounted price. Otherwise they would be thrown out. So the app helps cut down on food waste I got each box for around 5-6 dollars and they were all really good high quality and not just your run of the mill glazed donuts. I highly recommend this place, the donuts are amazing and they offer such great flavors. The staff is friendly as well and they have up close parking

"My vendor friend and I came here for a drink after lunch. This café is pretty cute and there was a lot of indoor seating for you to pick from. You order from the kiosk and they'll call your name when the order is done. Minimal contact with staff. My vendor friend got the 16oz Iced Tea ($2.70) and I ordered a 20oz Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte with Oat Milk ($7.35). We both enjoyed our drinks. The matcha was good quality and it was a nice drink for me to take with me on the road. We sat ourselves while waiting for the order and there were crumbs left by the previous patrons. They didn't look too busy when we came in so I don't see why they can't keep the place clean. I also got a Cachi Special ($10.75) sandwich togo for my sweet boyfriend. It comes with grilled chicken, prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, grilled mushrooms, fresh basil, olive tapenade and balsamic vinegar served on focaccia bread. I asked him how it was and it sounds dry and bready. Also when he was eating it I noticed him peeling off some bread around the edges where there was no filling. Probably not something we would get again. I think I'll stick to their drinks and skip the food here. Would consider another iced match if I find myself back in the area."

The baguettes are large, soft, and crunchy. The meats are savory and addicting. The pickled vegetables offer the perfect refreshing note. I highly recommend the #6 (Crispy Pork Belly) and the #14 (Lemongrass Beef). I gave the #15 (Lomo Saltado) a try as well, but I think the former options are tastier. #15 could use a little more sauce, it was a little drier than the others. Anyways, highly recommend. At first I didn't say anything, assuming they were talking to a colleague before it hit me that they're just NICE people. The sizing of the restaurant was a bit smaller but they're able to take in larger parties by combining the tables they had.We got the new york with herb butter and the strawberry sourdough pancakes. I wasn't expecting much with the steak since it used to the regular steak and eggs from usual diner spots. I was pleasantly greeted with how well the steak was cooked. Perfectly medium rare and with the generous serving of herb butter it was very flavorful!My partner said that the pancakes were delicious and would already like to come back to try their other dishes."

But I was just there for breakfast and enjoyed the witty waiter I was blessed to have.I ordered the waffle which came with a choice of sides; eggs (scrambled) and protein (bacon). The waffle was perfectly made, crisp outside and soft inside. The combination of syrup, blueberries, and strawberry slices on top of the waffle made for a heavenly breakfast. The bacon was delicious, fried to that sweet spot in-between crispy and chewy. It is light and bright, and the server who assisted us was so helpful and friendly. The coffee was delicious! We sat in front on a comfortable bench out in the cool January sun. Obviously had to get the crispy pork belly and it was delicious but didn't have much pork belly inside. The tofu one was super flavorful and the classic one was just okay since it was on the sweeter side. They have scrambles, skillets, omelettes and more. I got the Fisherman's Breakfast which came with 3 Eggs, 4 strips of bacon and sausage ( I did two bacon, two sausage), 1 toast and potatoes. I would totally get this again, especially ordering potatoes because they were almost like chips. They were thin and were sorda crispy."

It's a small restaurant with a few tables and chairs, menu had a few items. They specialize in Banh Khot. Was greeted when we entered, I ordered to go. I had the banh Khot Tom (shrimp) and banh Khot thit (beef). Both came with lots of vegetables and fish sauce on the side. They were delicious!!!! Crispy edges and soft chewy center. The protein portion was great. $12 each banh khot and about eight pieces per order. Customer service is excellent, 10 out of 10. Food came out piping hot and smelled delicious. It was still crispy hours later. They accept cards. Plenty of parking."
