"Not a fan of dirty chinese, that's what I call it, but my man loves it. This place serves typical items, fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, etc. They have a decent thai tea though."
"My favorite is orange chicken, fried rice, chow mein is always yummy. The service was great employees and customer service. Was good. Will definitely recommend and return soon...."
Our signature dish. Crispy chicken wok-tossed in a sweet and spicy orange sauce. Spicy.

"We recently tried Yoo's Place, and I have to say, it was an excellent experience! It's a relatively new restaurant, but it's very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We usually frequent BCD Tofu House, but we decided to give this place a shot, and we're so glad we did!We ordered tofu soup, cold noodles, and the tteokbokki with ramen, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The portions were huge, and the tofu soup was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The broth was rich, complex, and tasted homemade. It even came out boiling hot, which I love for soups--it made the experience so much better. The cold noodles were also delicious, with fresh veggies that were perfect on a warm winter day in Southern California. The tteokbokki with ramen was another highlight. The portion was massive, easily enough for four people! My sister and I shared it, and we were both impressed by the generous serving and flavor. One nice touch is the free bone broth on the side. It's perfect if you're feeling under the weather or just prefer something warm to drink instead of cold water. You can have as much as you'd like, which is such a thoughtful addition. The sides were also fantastic--the kimchi was fresh, and they even had sides I'd never tried before.Overall, I highly recommend Yoo's Place. The portions are generous, the food is delicious and fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back!"
"Fire! This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Long Beach near my house. Everything on the menu is delicious and worth trying. If you're in town, you have to stop by and check it out!"
"When you want yang chow but don't want the full sit down experience yang chow 2.0 it is. Love the Pasadena location and was in the area so decided to try and see how the quick service compared. It did not disappoint everything tasted exactly as the dine in location. Just conveniently packed for leftovers. Flavor and textures were the same. You order at register. Have the option to take out or sit at the few tables inside available. They have some outdoor seating but depends on the weather. The person who took our order was friendly and food came out quick."
"The go-to Chinese food spot. Authentic Chinese recipies. Efficient take-out ready in 10-15 minutes. Call to order or order in person. Each dish can feed 3-5 people and costs average $7-9Best pork fried rice, kung-pao chicken, Chowmein, blackmushroom chicken, orange chicken are my favorite. Pork fried rice for $8 can't beat it! -They do accept mastercard and Discover card -3 or 4 tables in their dining space."
"Food was fresh and tasteful. Owner and employee were professional, polite, and friendly. A great establishment."
"This has become my go to chinese takeout place. I get three meals out of their 2 entree combo. They pack that box full of food until it's overflowing. The chow mein is delicious. I usually get the teriyaki chicken or BBQ pork as one entree. They cut it up into pieces and it's always tender. The beef & broccoli is my other fave. The broccoli soaks up the sauce and becomes so flavorful."
"Under new management: new signs, new prices, new chef. Clean and inviting. Overall we're very happy with the updates. Quality of food seems better and they are open to feedback. My Honey Walnut Shrimp ($15.99) was very good and freshly made for my order. The chef had me and another customer have a shrimp to taste and it was delicious. Then we got to try a new white fish Guai, also really good. I ended up adding a Guai side, but for $5.99 I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe as part of a combo. My husband enjoyed his Combo 2 item ($9.59) with Orange Chicken and BBQ Pork. The two appetizers were a little over fried - Cheese Wontons (6 for $5.99) and Fried Dumplings (10 for $7.99). Usually with sweet and sour sauce but when I asked for some potsticker sauce, the chef whipped some up on the fly. It was very nice.Canned drinks $1.50 each."
"Food is good and the service is fast. Especially like the pig ears in chili oil. Would recommend"
"This wouldn't be Southern California without your reliable Chinese establishment nearby. I was thinking about pizza, but was craving succulent Shrimp Mei Fun, B.B.Q. Pork Slices, and Wor Wonton Soup instead. JJ has an extensive menu and another place in LB you can't go wrong regardless of your order."
"This just became my favorite at California Adventure. I ordered the birria ramen, it was very good. It was just a bit too salty for me, however the soup flavor was very good. I never ever thought I would have a boba drink inside the park, I ordered the three milk ube tea with boba and yes it was good. The boba was very soft and chewy, it's the way I liked it. All seating was outdoors, it is the common area for the eatery at San Fransokyo. As usual, the workers at the counter delivered great Disney customer service."

Delicious Korean food! The food was fresh, yummy, and tasted authentic! My husband and I ordered the Kalbi, Dolpan Kimchi Jaeyuk, and Jjajangmyun. Before the meal, they brought out assorted banchan which I loved! I wasn't sure of all the things I tried, but I ended up really enjoying most of them. They also gave us soup. The food came out pretty fast! Really enjoyed the Dolpan Kimchi Jaeyuk. I especially loved how some of the rice on the bottom got charred and crispy. The Kalbi was also quite yummy and had good flavor. The weakest dish was the Jajangmyun. It was fine, but compared to the other two, was not nearly as flavorful. I also thought the sauce was a little on the oily side and didn't coat the noodles as well as other Jajangmyuns I've had. Overall, yummy Korean food!

I found Lucky Chopsticks on Yelp in seek of authentic Chinese food with at least a review of 3.5. I was happy to see that it was at 4.5 and the pictures looked like the food I was looking for! Since I was so tired of walk-up Chinese Food places that you can see prepare your paper container that soaks up all of the juices and flavor, I was seeking larger portions and food that I can see the steam come off of! And YES! I found this in Lucky Chopsticks! The combination rice was delicious! The shrimp with lobster sauce was tasty. The orange chicken was flavorful and the quality of the meat was excellent. So again, thank you Lucky Chopsticks for being there for me with very delicious food that satisfied my appetite and craving!

I found it interesting that they had chow Meno with no Vegis and ur didn't taste off. I had a mean craving for Chinese as I've been away from Hawaii since September and been eating my fill of killer LA street tacos but just needed something home like . It's not a fancy joint so don't be expecting much. Their orange chicken was beyond fresh and had a nice crunch with fulfilling taste. Their mushroom chicken wasn't over cooked but a lil bland. I ordered 6 two choices and two Bowls. My total was about $60 if I would of known they had a family meal with a large tray of fried rice, chow menu, 3 entrees and done extras for $40 I would of jumped in that but at least I know for next time. I have it 4 stars cuz they smacked a bit on cleaning table tops but it's a cool lil dive Chinese food place that I'll be going to more often . Happy I stumbled upon it.

"I love this spot, always fresh and bomb!! My go to is the plate with orange chicken and spicy orange chicken Plus the customer service is 10/10 friendly and super clean !"
"I love this place!!!! This review is long overdue since I've probably been here around 4-5 times for dinner -- I even had the honor of having my birthday dinner here earlier this year, haha. My partner and I always get the veggie fried rice, orange peel chicken, and stir fried Mongolian beef to share. Food has been delicious every time, and we usually have a lot to take home. When we came with a bigger group for my birthday, we also got the cheese wontons and seafood pan fried noodles. Both were delicious as well; you really can't go wrong with any of their dishes. Prices are on the higher side but considering the quality and how much food you get, I'd say it's pretty reasonable. This spot was formerly a Japanese restaurant and the interior decor definitely still reflects that, but it's a nice ambiance regardless. Service is always phenomenal. My partner and I LOVE their chili oil sauce and go through it like crazy every time we go to EA. Last time we were here, we asked the owner (?) if they sold their sauce, and he came back with a full to-go container of the sauce for us to take home for free! We've been meaning to try their dim sum in the mornings, so we'll be returning soon. Highly recommend (':"
"I loved everything I order, the walnut shrimp were so big and juicy, Crispy and fresh! The black bean noodle are delicious, I recommend adding more onions for the flavor, the orange chicken, upgrade from Panda Express for sure! Haha, my friend have been eating here for like the past 20 years, so that's says something! The selection, the portion, the taste, the service, what more can you ask for? We drop our Togo plastic bag on the floor and the waiter immediately picked up and gave us a new one, awww"
"Arriving at 11:40AM Monday Greeted upon walking inItems on display looked fresh.Got the Half Rice & Half Chow MeinChow Mein lightly flavored but little ingredients Fried Rice no egg mixture Zucchini and Chicken no salt.Curry Chick very Tasteful a MustAnd grabbed a Gatorade. No bust when walking, but a few Patrons after I ordered and got a little busy ."
"A very solid Chinese fast food option and walking distance from CSULB. Being in that prime location, they could choose to gouge you, but they don't. The prices are very affordable and the portions are huge. What is unique about China Star is there are a decent amount of vegetarian and vegan alternatives on the line. There is an eggplant Tofu dish, an all veggies dish, and one of the pho options is vegan. And, oh yeah, they have Pho and it is great! They also have bubble tea and a bunch of other things, but I stick mainly to the 1 or 2 item combos or the pho. Check it out!"
"Ho Ho has changed a bit over the years but continues to have tasty Chinese food. Lunch deals are the best. Better to order to go due to limited seating n challenging parking. Everything ordered so far has been on point."
"Had been wanting to check out Mian for awhile and finally had the opportunity to pay SCP and Mian a visit. Waited about 5 mins in the queue right outside the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm.The atmosphere is open and airy and a solid pick for small or larger groups.QR code on the table, scan in, and order via their easy to use platform. We ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, chili oil wontons, and beef roll pancake; opted for medium Sichuan spice for all the dishes which seemed to suit us well. All the items came out within 10ish mins and everything was really good. My overall ranking: 1) chili oil wontons 2) beef roll pancake 3) spicy beef noodle soup - but honestly, everything was flavorful and delicious. We asked for some chili oil on the side to dip the beef roll pancake. The pricing is decent as well, especially considering this is a poppin' spot in SCP. I'd be back to try different items."
"Good food, nice people , I personally recommend the chow mein , orange chicken , wontons. My dad really enjoyed his plate of broccoli beef and KP chicken. Big portions for the price!!!"
"The food is always fresh and yummy and the wait time is not long. The place gets crowded which I think is a good thing because it means the food will be rolling out freshly made pretty quickly. They have a variety of options: Japanese, Chinese, American, Vietnamese, etc."
"I had an excellent dinner here with immediate family members. Vegetable Egg Rolls were moist inside and very good. A Small Hot & Sour Soup was excellent, with the caps of Button Mushroom bobbing on top, tofu, egg, and broth that had the perfect blend of sweet and sour notes. Fried Pork Dumplings were small but nicely constructed and very good in taste dipped in Plum Sauce, Sweet & Sour Sauce, and Hot Chili Oil.While others at my table split a Large Won Ton Soup and enjoyed extensive Mu Chu Chicken Wraps and House Special Chicken with Broccoli, Diane addressed her well-constructed and sweet Honey Walnut Shrimp, and I concentrated my attention on Shrimp in Lobster Sauce and Kung Pao Three Flavors (Beef, Chicken and Shrimp). Everything was tasty and washed down with Hot Tea. We had a veritable Chinese feast.Service was attentive and responsive, and our reserved table for six in front of the aquarium was quite comfortable. This was probably our best experience here!"
"The food tasted authentic Northern Chinese and came out fast. We went in as soon as they opened and the restaurant was fully seated within 30 minutes. Recommend going early to avoid crowds. The service was typically what you would find at Chinese restaurants."
"It was delicious.. everything was great. We ordered the salt and pepper calamari, combination fried rice, sautéed pea sprouts and house special lobsters with noodles. I can't stop thinking about the combination fried rice. It was memorable."
"WOW! Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Would even rate it 15 out of 10.I've ordered the Beef & Pork Belly Skewers, Egg Fried Rice, Pork Short Rib Noodle Soup, and Small Glutinous Rice Balls from here and EVERY single dish here far exceeded every expectation I've had. I've been struggling to find good authentic Chinese food in the area that meet my standards, but this restaurant completely hit the nail on the head. Everything tastes exactly like all the amazing Chinese dishes I had growing up and reminds me so much of home! Not to mention the portion sizes and prices are very good.My heart and stomach are always full after eating from here. Will be supporting this restaurant over and over again!"
"this place has to have the best Chinese food. They even have walnut shrimp. .. this place is the best so many great options. Everything is freshly made. Great customer service. I really don't know why this place isn't packed. Been coming here since 2015. They have so many great options on the menu their beef and broccoli so good. Everything is à la cart. Thank you so much. Definitely be back soon. I almost forgot one thing this place is very clean. Just such great people."
"Lunch specials are just the right amount to not have extra leftovers. Dine in includes a side of soup and steamed rice. Not available for takeout orders.I wanted lobster Yee mein but the tank was empty when I arrived.Got a few items that are uncommon for our family but completely delicious:Scrambled egg with shrimp - I love this simple combo and how the egg comes out soft scramble with very tender peeled shrimp.Seafood and tofu in clay pot has a bottom layer of clear noodles and vegetables (mostly Napa cabbage) - the tofu soaks up all the flavor and is equally delicious. Shrimp, squid and scallop in the mix.Our server suggested the milk tea with boba - I try to not consume too much of this type of drinks because they can be sugar bombs, their version is not overly sweet. We tend to order a lot of food because of dietary reasons. So I requested to be moved to a larger table. The staff was very accommodating, cleaning up the previously used table and moving us immediately. I am always impressed by how quickly delicious food comes out from what seems to be a smallish kitchen.Lunch specials are billed as served only till 250 pm, probably to avoid the 3 pm lunch stragglers. Check the front door for the hours, one weekday (Tuesday?) they are closed for an hour or two right after lunch service."
"I attended a wedding that was catered by them a few weeks ago. I was so surprised and amazed by the amazing job they had done! The decor was amazing, the service was imoeccable, and the food was simply out of this world! If an occasion ever comes up whereI need catering, I will definitely call them!!!"
"Small place next to Sizzlers. A bit stuffy and hot inside to dine. Food was very good. Vegetable fried rice was flavorful. Egg rolls had a great flavor. Orange chicken was delicious and side note, the only chicken breast offered. Mongolian beef was great although I wish the meat was cooked a bit more. Would definitely go back, maybe try take out! Also, service was great."
"Had to try it while in town and it was a hit. I will return while in town again. Place was clean."
"A hidden gem of southbay! Where Nice China lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in delicious authentic Chinese/cantonese food! I've dined in and ordered take out many times before and every meal has been delicious! Some of our go to:Soy sauce chicken Mince pork soupTofu with fish black bean sauceBbq duck Pumpkin with spareribs (special order)Lobster stir fry with garlic (special order)"
"when I think of comfort food, and Chinese food comes in mind this is the first place that comes to mind ! Not only because it's nearby but their food is good! Their potato chicken is a fav, I probably go about once every week . Their wonton soup is always a picker upper when I'm feeling a little under the weather. They now accept Apple Pay too!"
"The owners are new and they usto work for panda Express so they very clean and you can taste the quality here. The chicken is so good ik coming back for sure."
"Portions are HUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEE. If you're hungry, this is the spot. This is run by a friendly old couple. Good grub that's cheap. Yes, it's not DTF. But instead of going to chains like Panda, where who knows what's in the food, go with authentic and small business."
"For was very good. Tui (girl who had taken our order-excuse me if I miss spelled your name) was very nice. Ordered Seafood noodle soup and pork noodle soup. Both orders were served in large portions and bowl. We also ordered the donut. We enjoy our food sumptuously. Thank you for warm delicious food."
