"On my regular Wednesday food trip with my girl friend, we both craved for some decent Mexican food, found this high reviewed food place on Yelp and decided to give it try. The photos look so appealing and temping already. Traffic was not bad at all driving from SGV close to noon time on a weekday. Aware of the parking in LA is an issue, we planned ahead and parked in the nearby Smart& Final shopping lot with 3 minutes walking distance. Problem solved easily. They have variety of food items on the menu with reasonable pricing. The chicken on the grillers smelled so good so we decided to try the 2pc chicken plate and Asada burrito. The food was freshly made right in front of you and that is satisfying and the same time challenging your patience because they look too delicious!!!! There is a small outdoor dinning table on the table but it was full so we went back to our car to enjoy the feast. OMG....We probably repeated that word numerus times when we were eating the food. Every bite on the chicken tasting like heaven, nicely grilled chicken skin on the outside, chicken itself is moist, flavorful, tender and not dry. Their salsa and spicy avocado sauce are a must-try to the chicken. My girl friend told me this is the BEST Asada burrito she's ever had, rich in flavors/texture, the rice is perfectly cooked, the tortilla is double grilled before serving. Everything about the burrito is on point. Can't find anything negative about it. Street food always talks to me but THIS one makes me fall in love with. Highly recommended people in LA or not!!"

The most creative martini mash potato short rib bar... with all of the Little extras that go with it( Bacon crispy, onions , red peppers , Parmesan cheese) And delicious hot prosciutto flatbread pizzas and mushroom flatbreads. The bar was set up beautifully and the staff had generous pours flowing.... Champagne , wine , beautiful cosmopolitan cocktails in the most gorgeous glasses.... Amazing pizzas! I've had this twice now and will continue to order from them when they're around. The pizzas are fresh and hot, but it's the sauce that had me addicted. The first time I had their cheese pizza. The second time I couldn't decide between the spicy vodka and the supreme, so the owner made me a half and half. Great customer service!!!

I've ordered here about twice already and will def keep ordering. It is a hit when I bring it to get togethers and parties. It comes with a good amount of choices to get your charcuterie fix. Mary is great at making boards and she is great at accommodating orders and preferences. Ordering from her is a breeze!! HIGHLY recommend ordering from On Board Charcuterie to bring to your parties :)

Food truck outside the timeless pints bar. Nice idea. My son ordered the burger combo which was $9 with a can of coke. Fries were crispy and good, burger was HUGE on a brioche roll and the patty was nice size! Cooper finished the combo so he must have loved it! I asked other customers how the fried chicken was and they seemed to love it. I tasted the BBQ ribs and they were smokey and tender.All in all I'd have to say these people have it going on when it comes to their food truck! If I see them again I would order a combo without hesitation.If you find them out and about... give them a try

It was easy to book with Jesse!Reasonable price and we also asked for chafers. When you order Horchata, they will let you keep the dispenser. They arrived early for set-up, but couldn't set up until they had tables. We gave them tables and table covers to use. Jesse and his assistant quickly set up! A lot of people raved about their chicken! I am so sad I didn't get a chance to try the chicken. But apparently, their chicken was the best meat! The horchata was very good as well!!!

My brother and I were running some errands in the area, and happened to see a large crowd of people waiting in line to order some food. We were feeling kind of hungry, so we just decided to pop in!Parking was a bit of a mission, but we decided to chance it, and parked in the plaza they are situated in front of. We figure we could watch the car should anything happen. But if you're lucky, meters and street parking are available in the neighborhood!They had a variety of delicious options on their menu, and the tacos looked really good. But I wanted to eat healthier, so we went for the 2 piece chicken plate. It was fun to watch the Chef cooking up the deliciously marinated chicken. I could smell the spices and feel myself salivating at the thought of eating such juicy pieces of chicken!I also liked the fact that even though it's street food, they had a small little seating area for guests. The chicken was really yummy, I recommend the dark meat for sure! Try their salsas for some added flavor. Since the plate comes with tortillas, you can even make little mini tacos if you're up to it! Cute little stand, lovely people and amazing food! Will try their tacos next time!

Had these guys for a party event, it was AMAZING! THE VATOS are really helpful and professional. They make everything from scratch from Salsa to their own Meat Flavoring. I got Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and Chicken. They provided rice and beans as well. They prepared the grilled onions and meat fresh.For a bar event they had, I noticed they made their own items like a Car Wreck ( melted cheese on a hot dog) and a special taco ( fried cheese on the meat and tortilla). They even hooked me up with their deal ( 4 tacos for $5) and 1 taco FREE when you check-in. Cheap but yummy food Thanks you guys.

I went here despite the 3 star rating on yelp, and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff was, and how good the food is. They have this fire roasted habanero salsa that satisfied my addiction to spicy food 10/10. This place is definitely closer to a 4+ star rating. Definitely going back!

I use Abel's Catering to do small to large events at my job (550+ employees) His menu is extensive but everything we've tried has been so good. I always have employees asking for his info to cater their home/party events as well. He's professional, always early, always prepared. We have never run out of food, he is very generous with his portion sizes and often lets people serve themselves so they can eat as much as they like. I have never felt "nickel and dimed" working with him. Highly and happily recommended to anyone who asks."

Many people in our group of 50 got seconds and thirds and we still had leftovers. Tacos Del 8 was great to work with. "Randomly ran into fellow yelper B. N. and his wife who live nearby and they informed me that the address that used to have Kerostena has a new place, Taboon Mediterranean. Apparently Taboon has another location in Long Beach and Los Alamitos. The menu is large with soup, salads, cold appetizers, hot appetizers, wraps, bowls, plates, and dessert. Last Wednesday I had the day off work so figured it was a great time to try it out. They've only been open a few weeks. The employee was extremely friendly and happy to talk about the menu. He let me know they have lunch specials Monday-Friday which pretty much gets you the drink for free. I ordered the "halloumi cheese" wrap with lentil soup. I've never had this cheese before and loved it. It's very dense and doesn't melt. They grill it and wrap it with lettuce, tomato, garlic, and a flavorful sauce. The cheese is semi salty and because of the dense texture it was like eating a chicken wrap. I loved every bite and couldn't believe how good it was. I ordered one to take home for my wife and she loved it. At the end she said "I think they forgot the cheese though, it was just some delicious chicken". Her mind was blown when she found out the entire thing was cheese. The vegan lentil soup was a huge portion and loaded with flavor. It was served with some pita chips which I tossed in for texture. My wife had the fries for her side and it was a HUGE portion. She could only eat half and saved the rest for the next day. Salad was another choice for lunch special.Saturday my wife and I came back to eat there. We both ordered the Kefta kabab plate which is a blend of ground beef and lamb. It's heavy on the lamb flavor so keep that in mind if you don't like lamb. It was served with hummus, house salad, two types of rice, sumac covered red onions, a grilled white onion, grilled tomato, pita bread, garlic sauce, and tahini. HUGE portion. Neither my wife or I could finish which is rare for me. I usually devour everything. Every single thing on our plate was fantastic. Loved the two different types of rice. One was very herbal tasting. Since it was our first time here we ordered way too much food. Besides our gut busting entrees we also shared some of their fried cauliflower and the spinach fatayer which are like empanadas. Both awesome.Please try this place! It's behind Shakey's next door to the bagel place that's currently being repairs from the fire. We need good restaurants around here since so many closed during COVID. This is the perfect place for the plaza and I can't wait to try more items!"
