"Food was really good and really good service. You have to try the granola pancakes. I will definitely be coming back."
"My sister & I met for a late lunch the day before 4th of July. Found ourselves checking out Country Cafe referred by friends. They close at 1:30pm. We arrived at 1:00 Thought they might turn us away. We were so wrong. They greeted us cheerfully and never rushed us to order or finish up. Top notch service all around. Sister ordered a 2 egg scramble accompanied by brown rice, bacon and sourdough toast. Homemade strawberry jam. Delish. I ordered machaka - half a plate full of tasty shredded beef scrambled with fluffy eggs. Plentiful. Delicious. Cottage cheese, sourdough toast and brewed coffee completed my meal. So much food. We both took half our meals home for dinner. The cafe is ultra-clean. A wall of philodendron plants look well-loved - healthy, hardy, lacy - allowed filtered light to enter the lovely cafe. Impressive. Country Cafe has been in business for eight years. I live blocks away. I can't believe this was my first visit. It won't be my last."

"BEST CHILAQUILES I'VE HAD IN A WHILE! Definitely recommend grabbing a bite here! Will be coming back again!"
"Amazing hidden gem of Santa Ana. Small, family owned a café with heavy Japanese influence. Very interesting given it's inside of a corporate building almost like a speakeasy!Had the breakfast menu along with the Japanese toast, which was Instagram worthy. Come for the hospitality, stay for the amazing food."
"Friendliest staff ever! My favorites....ham & cheese sandwich, Italiano sandwich, Foley chardonnay, and cold brew coffee. They also carry awesome Pasea swag like stainless steel Swell water bottles, hats, and more. There are tables and chairs inside and out so you can enjoy a drink or a hot meal."
"After a luggage delay at the airport, we had quite a bit of time to kill and decided to search for breakfast nearby, luckily we came across sunrise cafe on Yelp! This was exactly what we needed to turn the morning around. The breakfast here was great! The menu was rather large and had so many things that sounded amazing, picking what to get was not an easy choice. After much back and forth, I settled on the Baja Omelet, and my mom the banana pancakes. Both meals were great! Portions were large and the food flavorful. Though it was a feat, we made sure to finish every last bite. Service was friendly and the place gave off a small town diner feel."
"I came here for a pick up order from too good to go about 20 minutes before closing. Staff here were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were already cleaning up (the place was spotless) This place is located in a little private parking lot with other businesses. They do have a few locations but I've only been to this oneI spoke with, Alyssa while another worker bagged my order. (5 stars for Alyssa! The other workers were extremely friendly too but unfortunately I didn't get their names) First off, the bagels here are HUGE and fluffy. They have an amazing menu with different sandwiches. (And a drink menu ofCourse) My order mostly had jalapeño bagels. Which weren't overwhelming at all. They were extremely fresh I'll 100 percent be back whenever I have a craving for bagels or whenever I visit my aunt and want to drop some off. Always support your local bagel shops. They taste so much better than the grocery store ones (the bagel bombs here are delicious. I even froze some and then reheated them)"
"Very nice experience! Food large portions , service is fast and the people are kind . We sat on the patio and it was nice and calm . The Bronx"
"Four star review because the portions here are insane! I got the chicken fiesta burrito bowl and this could easily feed 3 people. I love the service here and the staff are incredibly inviting. The ambience is great because you can sit here and eat, while getting some work done."
"As a Taiwanese, here is my review for late dinner.Delicious popcorn chicken Rose green tea is good too. The fish cake is just okay for me.The lady is very friendly."
"Decent prices especially for the atmosphere, good quantity, decent service, OK quality of food. The Promenade Cafe is the casual sit-down restaurant at the Queen Mary, located on Deck 4. Surface parking at the Queen Mary is metered, costing $25 for an hour or more, but gets reduced down to $10 with validation. Even though it is not particularly busy, you need to make a reservation online via OpenTable. The email confirmation can then be used to get an entry ticket into the Queen Mary, which allows you to tour the boat on your own.We got to the boat a bit early so we slowly walked through the ship's deck 4 and the upper sundeck. There are many picture opportunities, with the Long Beach skyline in the background. And the nearby Observation Bar provides an outdoor area to mingle while sipping a pre-dinner drink. The indoor dining area of the Cafe is a long corridor, with seating on both sides. At the back of the restaurant, the doors leads to the back of the finer dining restaurant on the Queen Mary (Chelsea Chowder Bar), so thinking both share the same kitchen. We got a nice table next to a window (square porthole?). Water was given, though wish it had been refilled more often. We shared a cocktail (Cruise to Nowhere $15), which was quite good and strong. For entrees, we kept it simple. The French Dip ($22) came on a long and very crispy french roll, with decent amount of chopped beef (prime rib) and a decent au jus (no cheese or the promised horseradish sauce). We chose the side of sidewinder fries, which I love and there was plenty of it...just wish it was hotter. Both were served lukewarm and came with a good pickle spear. The other choice was the Corned Beef Reuben ($18): same situation where the bread was decent (supposed to be a rye but don't think it was...looked/tasted like a rustic white), but the corned beef was the 'chipped' kind, not the deli sliced. It was a large sandwich in area, but not very thick (because of the lack of meat)...and could hardly taste the cabbage. The side for this was the other choice of pre-dressed salad, which wasn't bad...though it had gotten limp since it had been sitting around a bit fully dressed. So the prices are lower than you would expect at a tourist attraction or a hotel restaurant, and since it allows access to the Queen Mary with the corresponding views and sights, we thought it was worth it."
"Came here with two friends. We each got a bagel. The parking could be bad depending on the time you get there. The service is good! Everyone is friendly. However, you get a number to pick up your food and try to get a table around there. I did a BYOB and got a sesame bagel with egg white bacon and ham. The bagel was good! However, there was minimal egg white on it. They also used REAL bacon not that microwave stuff so 8/10! My friend got the sausage egg and cheese with the jalapeño bagel. She couldn't really taste the jalapeño and didn't really like the egg so she gave it a 6.5/10.My other friend got the bacon egg and cheese with a cinnamon bagel. He enjoyed it and gives it a 7/10 rating. We all got an fresh squeezed orange juice and it was delicious!! I will definitely be back again."

OMGosh. Every time I'm in Long Beach and stop by Jimmy John's on Cherry Ave I've always noticed how busy Country Kitchen restaurant was. So my sons and I decided to try it. They got the grilled cheese with fries and really liked it. I got the breakfast combo with bacon, egg , potatoes and toast with a side of jam and it was delicious. We enjoyed it because it doesn't taste like regular restaurant food. It tastes more homemade. The bacon and potatoes were delicious. I especially likeHow seasoned the potatoes were. I will definitely be back. And the customer service is great.

Country Cafe is a super cozy classic American breakfast spot. I came on Tuesday around 11am and the restaurant was nearly full. The servers are attentive and check in when they can, but they can also get super busy with other diners. We ordered:Hobo omelet 10/10: Perfectly cooked omelet and the home fries are fantastic; it's like a hash brown with sliced potatoes instead. It's a large portion and it also comes with your choice of toast!Nutella crepe, banana and strawberry 9/10: Comes with two crepes and a good amount of toppings. It hit the spot, but it would've been nice if there was filling inside the crepes as well.I understand why this is a popular local spot and it's exactly what you want for a good American breakfast!

I have known this place ever since it was called 'Miraloma Cafe' and wanted to visit one day when the name changed as I heard many great things about the cafe. The exterior and interior of the building and the great staff seemed the same but the food has definitely elevated. As the Yelpers recommend, I ordered the breakfast burrito and chocolate waffles. I thought I ordered chilaquiles as well but it was only in my head. When only two items came out, I was so disappointed since I really wanted to try the chilaquiles. I guess it was a sign for me to visit them again. Since it was early in the morning, I ordered their vanilla latte and it was very smooth and the flavor was amazing. They even had a heart as a latte art, which was cute. The breakfast burrito was amazing as well as the portion was right and it was packed with yummy and fresh ingredients on a warm tortilla. What I liked most about was that the burrito wasn't greasy at all. On the other hand, the chocolate waffles was a miss since there wasn't anything special. I would probably not order that next time.

I live close by to this little hidden Gem. Walked over this morning with some of my family and what a delight. Great selection for a smallish Cafe, the service was very friendly, coffee was fantastic and the breakfast food we had was up there with any I've tasted elsewhere. Will certainly be making this a regular for midweek breakfast and coffee.Pete

My review is over do...I walk over to blend when getting my car washed across the street. The team there in the morning, especially Robert, are so friendly and pleasant. It's nice to have a team who are more engaged with their guests than each other. Their tropical iced tea is amazing although I do wish it were bigger for the price. Egg croissant is good as well as the egg muffin.

First time here ! Came on a Sunday and it wasn't at all packed. The older gentleman with the red hat was so inviting. Told me and my bf to have a seat. The atmosphere has fall vibes. very cute. The food was very delicious! Ordered a country scramble with added cheese, a hungry man meal, and onion rings which we didn't finish. You won't be able to finish it the plates are so big! And the pancakes were so soft and plush The servers ALL came to help whenever they walked by. They were all super friendly. At the end the owner came by and said hi and welcomed us.Overall it was a lovely experience

We were staying in downtown Long Beach and were looking for a place to eat breakfast. We were on a limited timeline so we were hoping to find a restaurant close to the hotel that had vegetarian/vegan options and pretty quick service and The Potholder Cafe definitely delivered. It was not super busy when we went on a Monday around 10:30am, and we were seated quickly. It has a diner vibe with a beach theme. Lots of tables and booths to choose from. They had a great sized menu with lots of diverse options. We were very happy to have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. We were able to order quickly and I was very surprised how fast the food came out. I opted to go with the veggie benny which was good but I was a little surprised that there was a slice of american cheese between the english muffin and the veggies/egg. Not sure if that's a regional thing or just specific to this restaurant, but everything was very tasty and the staff was attentive. I would definitely recommend eating here and I would come back if I was in the area.

"This was my first time at this little local gem in LB and I was pleasantly surprised with everything. The service was very good, I brought my dog since it was dog friendly so the patio was perfect anyways as it was a gorgeous day. The food was super delicious and the portions were definitely on the bigger side. My foodie partner got the Dos Caballeros and I got the Juan Wayne. I'll definitely be back to try more items off the menu cause there was some eye catching stuff"
"Hello, can you please add a phone number we can call to place pick up orders. Thank you!"
"Incredible dedicated gluten free breakfast/lunch place. Blown away by the made to order cinnamon rolls hot out of the oven on a cast iron skillet, and their out of this world sourdough bread. I've been a gf baker for 20 years and my daughter works in a gf bakery. I am very impressed with the taste and texture of their bread, and my son, the gluten eater agrees! The staff is lovely, and it's a beautiful location inside and out. Lots of little touches of love throughout. Everything is fresh and from scratch, and it shows. The tartines and the American breakfast are fab! Also, the thickly sliced smoked bacon, hello, maybe the best we've ever had.I had the pleasure of eating there twice before heading back to the Bay and I miss it already. Fortunately for me, I was able to make room for their giant sourdough loaf in my carry on!"
"The food quality was amazing, service is fast once you order, it takes forever in the line to order, but once you order, you get the food pretty quick. Eggs quality"
"The best chiliquiles I've ever had! Comes with beans, and you can add meat. I added machaca with my plate. I could have shared the plate, it was a lot of food. I also got a cafe de olla. Customer service was great! The waiter was helpful and explained a few of the items on the menu. It was just him and it got a little busy but he always checked on us. Great ambiance! They have music videos playing for Music and I loved it! Overall a 10/10 experience. Can't wait to go back!!"
"I just had breakfast here. We usually order for pick-up. The food is made from scratch, and you can really taste the difference. The waffles & pancakes are delicious, and the eggs are yummy. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere has a relaxed, chill vibe. Highly Recommend!"
"I've been working in DTLB for 16 years and I can't believe I have never been to Ubuntu!!!! Wow, they definitely live up to their name as the greatest neighborhood cafe! From location to food to service to even parking (you know how important parking is in LB and especially it is free)! Ubuntu situated nicely across the lagoon on top of an apartment complex, with plenty of parking in a big lot. They were all decked out for Christmas with a huge Christmas tree out front. This is the place for all your get-together with friends and family and they had such a nice brunch food and drink menu. We ordered a lot of things! One thing is that they want you to get in line to order your food and then grab a table. Once you are at your table and want to order more, you can always grab your server and order with him/her and pay, no need to go back in line. Food wise, EVERYTHING was good! The best thing I loved was the millionaire bacon, and I don't even like bacon!!! The piece was hug and thick and gooey with maple or something infused. So good! We had four adults and two kids so we ordered everything that looked good on yelp and about 3 or 4 orders of the cheese bread because the kids ate them all. I really like their short ribs chilaquiles, so good! Just like how I had it in CDMX! I also like the fig toast. Lastly, I love love this place for their coffee!!! They are one of the few that actually can make all their specialty coffee drinks in decaf!!!! I love their decaf Spanish latte! I got two of them! We lounged about and went to the lagoon to walk off some calories and came back to order some more to-go.I highly recommend Ubuntu!!!! If you haven't been, you are greatly missing out!"
"The best coffee shop!!! People who work there and there coffee are the best. Sleek modern design inside. Simplicity at its best. The coffee, food and service are top notch. Great neighborhood addition."
"Pandor is a cute french bakery in downtown orange. It's a great location. Inside has lots of seating and some outlets to work all day. You order at the counter and have pretty quick service. Their latte was really good. The quiche was also amazing!! It was the perfect texture and had great flavor."
"*Hidden gem In uptown Whittier *I was in the mood for some chilaquiles and this place had exactly what I was hoping for.The plate has a nice presentation, and great flavor. Go for the green! We were seated fairly quickly and the service was on point too. It's a family environment. You can enjoy a nice conversation while you eat.Visit this place if you're craving a Mexican style breakfast as I'm sure all the other options are just as delicious."
"Great spot for a quick bite of caffeine fix in Irvine! Located in a corporate building center with ample outdoor seating and work space. They validate parking for 2hr at the nearby structure or have 20min pickup spots out front. We placed an order pickup which was easy and ready right on time when we arrived. Amongst our group we ordered the churro latte, pumpkin cold brew, lavender matcha latte, honey oat latte, lavender lemonade, and the dragon fruit lemonade. All of the drinks were delicious and they use Kean coffee beans, which are my personal favorite. The pastries here are AMAZING, the biggest croissants I have ever seen. Would love to come back for lunch and try some of their salads and sandwiches!"
"Friendly staff and so far the shakes and meals we have ate are delicious. I would say the caliber of ingredients reflect the price point. They make their own organic almond milk!"
"This 4 star-rating rests entirely on their cardamom and blueberry muffin. GODDAMN that muffin is marvelous! Their coffee is pretty decent as well, but that muffin is worth a trek to Irvine."
"Absolutely the BEST philly cheese steak I have ever had!! It was amazing and the bread is so delicious. My biggest gripe with cheese steaks and sandwiches in general is the crap bread that most of them are made with. NOT the case with Primo Nosh, the french bread was soft, chewy and delicious! Hope to see you at the Buddy Walk again next year and thank you for your support! I will definitely be visiting your HB store soon."
"Praise the Lord for cookies and coffee & sugary treats ! You will surely find lots at this small, cozy cafe, adjoining the colossal megachurch next door. Their drinks are cleverly named after Bible stories & characters. They have varying business hours; hence causing some general confusion. They are open for at least 30 minutes after each main service. The gift shop to the left of here, (in the same building FYI) also follows a similar schedule. Prices are right! Bathrooms are clean and large. Seating; outlets; Wi-Fi; you got it! The workers here are super awesome; you guys all deserve a raise. It's like a mini Starbucks in here. Homemade cookies; sandwiches; coffees; smoothies; you name it!This is a must-stop after mass or even just passing through the area to quench both your spiritual & physical hunger & thirst.."
"I absolutely love this place. It's a diner-style location. The service is amazing, friendly, and the drive thru is super convenient. Parking is a bit difficult, but way worth it. If you come here, get the huevos rancheros. You will NOT regret it. It's so delicious. It's my go to meal."
"On November 9, 2024, after running some errands, I took my family out for breakfast. I especially wanted my hubby to try this location as I've been here before. The parking lot was quite crowded, and the restaurant was even more so. It made for a wonderful day at the Potholder. We added our names to their waiting list. Within seconds, we were asked if we would prefer to dine outdoors or indoors. We were promptly seated indoors. Within minutes, our beverages were brought to our table.Erika, our server, was very attentive. After we placed our menu orders, we engaged in nostalgic conversations.Erika arrived with our food. I had ordered a patty melt on sourdough bread with curly fries. The carbohydrates were satisfying.A la carte eggs scrambled, two biscuits on the bottom, chicken-fried steak on top, two sunny-side-up eggs, hashbrowns, and two delectable hot chocolates.Erika approached our table and inquired about my husband's meal. He playfully remarked that it was terrible, causing her to halt in her tracks. We all burst into laughter. My patty melt was delectable, bursting with flavor and served on buttered bread. The chicken-fried steak was rated an eight out of ten, but it could have used more gravy. The biggest complaint we had was all the ice that was used in my hubby's Michelada the taste was good, one or two I e cubes would of been perfect besides all the small ice and serving a Michelada in a Bloody Mary cup come on."
"It was a nice small place but very comfortable. The workers were so warm and friendly. The positivity and energy of the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. I mentioned about the temperature and immediately my words were taken to heart and I got what I needed immediately. Such a nice casual place with a beautiful family atmosphere. I just loved everyone. The atmosphere was actually so nice that it did help open me up better to fellow diners and we all had such beautiful conversations. So i would recommend social . Food Ohoo at breakfast diners I usually order the same thing which is breakfast burritos. It was unique to me be a most breakfast burritos I had would contain chorizo which can be a bit to heavy for me and too salty and yes beans. This was nice and lighter. They also had home made salsa . I'd recommend it. Prices were very nice ."
"The Corner Kitchen is a convenient little café located inside the office building at 1500 Hughes Way in Long Beach. I come here several times a week, sometimes twice a day because I work in the area. There are five different stations for you to choose depending on your mood or dietary choices. The hours are convenient, and the food is pretty good, and the employees are friendly. The restaurant looks great, is clean, and there is plenty of seating. There are several online ordering and delivery options, as well. They do have a captive audience here at this location, so they get pretty busy and tight during the lunch rush because there are so few (nearby) eating options that don't require getting in your car. The coffee counter that serves up Peet's Coffee, pastries and muffins, and custom blended vegetable and fruit smoothies. This has been a life saver on those slow-starting mornings which seem to be more and more common. The staff at this station are great, and they can make your coffee drink, or smoothie, exactly how you like it, so you can't go wrong here. The sandwich station offers up their own sandwich selection, but you can also fill out an order form and customize your sandwich to your liking. The guy at the sandwich counter has the best attitude and always makes a great sandwich. If you're a regular like me, he's great at remembering how you like things and will clarify with you, just in case you forget or don't mention something. (I am ashamed at myself because I just referred to my sandwich bff as "the guy at the sandwich counter"...tsk, tsk, tsk)The salad bar is great. It's well stocked and kept clean. Plenty of salad fixings to choose from, and usually 2 soups. The grill will cook up almost anything that you could want at a breakfast or lunchtime grill. They guys at the grill get really busy, but they are FAST! There is a hot bar where you can find Asian and Mexican choices to create your favorite bowl or burrito. Both the grill and hot stations offer daily specials, too! You can also find plenty of grab and go snacks such as, sodas, chips, sweets, protein drinks, water, etc...A very strong 4 rating:(82/100)"
"Friday brunch demands good food. This cafe had raving reviews & I needed to try it. We got there around 11am & had a 30 wait. They will call you when your table is ready. The place is small but with great natural lighting. The feel was causal and relaxed. Ordered regular coffee which was not remarkable. Was expecting something more flavorful. They do have lattes & multiple teas. I had the Salmon Benedict & my gf had a mushroom spinach omelette. Both were outstanding. So fresh, tasty & delicious. I ordered a side of potatoes ($4) which were so great!Had a chance to peak in the back where I saw 2 senior gals meticulously preparing dishes. The service was good and the servers were very busy. We weren't in a hurry so to worry. Such a variety of dishes that we will most certainly be back to try them."
"The food is awesome and we enjoy eating here when we visit. The chili is particularly good and is "Walt's fave recipe." The service is always prompt (with a reservation) - walk up can be a wait... IF POSSIBLE TO BE SEATED... reservations suggested!!! The wedge salad is great too. Today we got chili for an appetizer and the guacamole burger for our meaning entree. The fresh fruit with the kids menu items (adult offering too) is always good and fresh and delish! This restaurant is convenient and clean and always a hit with our family right on Main Street and right on price!"
"I tried this place on a whim - I was in the area and it was right there. Super friendly staff and nice little place inside. I really enjoyed the sandwich I ordered it came on a croissant and it as fully loaded with the meat and the lettuce, and the mayo and everything else. The one thing major thing that marks this place down for me is the price. I ordered "Andy's Craving" it is a specialty sandwich on their menu with turkey, prosciutto and some veggies the sandwich was $16. It seemed a little pricey for what it was, and honestly, the price is the only reason that I most likely will not return. There are plenty of other locally owned and independent gourmet sandwich shops with the same quality and quantity for less."
"Ordered a lavender latte and the lavender syrup was fantastic. I think it was freshly made. Service was excellent and there was so much care into creating the coffee. Beans were fresh and there are nice memorabilia and facts inside."
