"Wow, I'm the first to review this place???Love this place for the simple fact they offer bottles of independent drinks. Mainly iced teas, juices, and lemonades. Since I've stop drinking soda regularly, I've been stopping in here from time to time to try some new drinks. Loving the Calypso Lemonades...tried the tropical mango lemonade...so f'in good! I always love to see stores carry non-mainstream brands that usually put better care into making their products...I'm big on kickin' the HFCS habit with more organic drinks and juices. I've also experienced nothing but super friendly and nice service here. They've also got a killer hard liquor selection too."
"Came here and the first thing I noticed was the HUGE bullet proof glass the cashier was behind, it was pretty intimidating. The second thing I noticed, was the nice hello from what appeared to be a father and son employees (both very young). The Alcohol is cheaper here than at most locations near by and they have a large selection. I had never heard of Buzzballs before and I'm pretty sure I could have gone through life without knowing about them (they are horrible), but they had those. When I purchased my drinks the older gentlemen was very friendly while making suggestions about future drinks (even more information about Buzzballs) and upon leaving, told me to have a good night."

"Very friendly, great entertainment and the food is surprisingly good, not the old school beach food."
"Our go to spot for deciduous tacos! The owners are really nice & friendly. It's a chill vibe with some booths and tables to dine in. A must to come in for tacos for lunch. Can't really go wrong with any of the taco selections"
"Your friendly neighborhood liquor store. Good prices and selection, plus they will happily special order most anything for you. It's a bit cluttered near the counter but it doesn't bother me. I just wish I lived closer. If you're in the area, don't bother going to the overpriced competitors in town. This is the place. And it has plenty of street parking. I honestly wish there were more liquor stores like this one."
"Grabbed some beers from here over the weekend. Small shop, but with good craft and macro options in the coolers, and an impressive selection of clearance beers for a fraction of the original cost. In addition to a couple single cans (an IPA and a lager) and a (at $12+, relatively expensive) little container of michelada mix, I snagged 3 sours normally priced at over $10 for $5 each. Service was friendly, everyone in the store was masked up, and I went home a happy girl. I love an unpretentious liquor store with great options. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in Long Beach."
"Great owners been coming here since before they owned it. A bit pricey for stuff but it's a a good last min pick up stuff place."
"Marc's Liquor is easily my favorite liquor store in the Long Beach area. They have a fantastic selection, are always adding new products, and everyone who works there is friendly and knows their stuff. Their selection of bourbon, whiskey, and wine is fantastic! Not to mention, they have an array of snacks and other goodies available, which I appreciate. If you're ever in the area and want to try something new, it's definitely worth stopping by!"
"I'm a Belmont Shore native and this is a great spot to grab a last minute thirst quencher !"
"Love the atmosphere here on a Sunday:A BeachA BarA BandSunDancingFun PeopleWhat more can you want in life?"
"This place is a hidden gem! Love a place where I can have some tea and a cocktail. We came on a jazz night which I ended up loving!"
"Dave's IS the neighborhood liquor store for our corner of Long Beach. Dave himself is almost always there and he's so nice and human. He will remember you and respect you. They have a little bit of everything you need and their prices are fair. Go to Dave's!"

DELICIOUS LUNCH ! Today my wife and I loaded our eBikes on the tow hitch rack on my wife Tesla Y for the drive to Sunset Beach. We arrived at the Sunset Beach Parking Lot just before 12.30pm...$15 all day. We rode along the bike path heading South towards the Huntington Beach Pier. It was a great day for a bike ride...not too hot at around 70F with a mild breeze. After a few miles we turned around and headed back here for lunch. LIVE MUSIC ! A pretty decent covers band was knocking out some classic 70's rock when we parked your eBikes outside the fence around 2pm. My wife went inside to check out the menu board while I stayed with our bikes. Then I headed to the cashier window to place our lunch order while my wife nabbed a couple of barstools at a hightop table. Patty the same friendly cashier as our last visit took our lunch order for 1 x Bolsa Quesadilla & Chips with Chicken and 1 x Bolsa Fully Loaded Nachos with Carne Asada. I paid by credit card upfront and was given a ready buzzer. On the way back to our table I said hi to Luis the head honcho who was very happy to see me. Luis reminded me that today was their last day of the year...closed til next year. I hung out with my wife at our table waiting for the ready buzzer to go off. In the meantime the band was knocking out great covers of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and The Doobie Brothers. THERE GOES THE BUZZER ! I headed over to the pick up window beside the cashier window and a young guy handed me our lunch order. Everything looked really good...huge serves ! My wife said her Quesadillas were some of the best ever. I had no complaints with my delicious Nachos. We rode off on our eBikes at 3pm. AND THE BAND PLAYED ON !NOTE - Of course with over 22 million views of my Yelp reviews and pics world wide in 2022 I can tell you what is great !

Great Customer Service!I had a trip to Mammoth coming up and my friend who lives in Mammoth had been looking everywhere for "The Boss Hog" whiskey from Whistle Pig. I tracked it down to Marina Liquor and called. The owner said he had one bottle and would put it aside for me. (This bottle of whiskey sells for up to $1,100 in some areas due to its scarcity.) My buddy jumped at it when I said Marina Liquor had it for $560.I drove from Glendale to Seal Beach the next morning and sure enough the bottle was waiting for me. I tried to pay for a bottle of water and the owner said he appreciated me driving so far so the water was on the house.Marina Liquor had a nice selection of allocated whiskey! (As for the one negative review I read on here about masks- if Casie is so afraid, she could always wear 1,000 masks!)

Dig their beer selection and I wouldn't even FaceTime myself as a beer gal. Lol Staff is generally pretty laid back and cool. They also have a punch card option so spend so much and get so much off. Nice if you live local and like to support small businesses.

"Amazing prices on wine and cooking essentials! Romona and her husband are very personable and friendly, with excellent recommendations on products. They also have a selection of honey that looks and tastes wonderful, one local and one from Utah, honey is really expensive everywhere usually but the prices were incredibly low for the amount and quality of honey. My husband and I always go by the A-1 Deli next door and never even knew this amazing place was here til recently, do yourself a favor and check this place out, it's a total hidden gem-2 bottles of wine for $7?! You will not be disappointed!"
"The prices are great. They keep a good inventory of all your alcoholic and tobacco smoking needs. They have many different brands of blunt wraps which is always a plus. One time when I went in here they were giving away samples of this alcoholic cognac flavor ice cream. The stuff sucked, but it definitely was a pleasant surprise.Creepy location with creepy people always creeping around. Creep."
"I have been coming to Seal Beach Liquor for years, like 20+ years. I do not come here for the booze (not a drinker) but come here for the Lottery and the vibe it gives off. This place is literally steps away from the Ocean in one of most unique towns of all of California. Where can you come and enjoy a day at the Beach and not have parking meters lining the streets? Answer: Seal Beach. Where are you going to find a Liquor Store that has carnival like games on the sidewalk directly in front of their business? Answer: Seal Beach Liquor. I dig Seal Beach Liquor. They always have a corkboard setup so local residents can display banners supporting the community, kitchen appliances for sale, tutoring or just displaying your business card. SBL always has the latest issue of Surfing or Surfer on display. SBL sells body boards, cool little post cards and several other knick-knack items you will probably only find here. The employees working and are always cool and look like they just stepped off of a surfboard and headed to work, total beach vibe. I will continue coming here when I am in Town and showing the love."
"The perfect place to find a gift, the perfect charcuterie accoutrement, and learn about wine. They also have a clean and safe potty for little ones. This is my go to spot for picking up a wine bottle and snack to try. I haven't even been to one of their wine events yet and I love it. Free open parking right in front."
"I came here a few weeks ago for a private event: a holiday party. The wine bar was the perfect setting for a party. It was a nice venue, we had catered food and music as well. The wine was excellent, I enjoyed the moscato and sauvignon blanc. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, they did an awesome job and made us feel like we were at home. Also, it was decorated so nicely for Christmas. It's a good place to come for a drink or host a party."
"Walk in beer cave.Lot's of beer to select from.If there isn't something here already just ask the owner Eddie & he'll be sure to have it next time."
"Wanted to try a new Italian spot in the City so dropped by Marri's. Very old school feel to the place with deep roots. Family or guest photos around the place and friendly staff all around. Service to be seated was quick & our waitress was polite. Meatball plate was delicious! Chicken liking plate was cooked good but the sauce/flavor was very very strong but I suppose if you LOVE lemon, this may be the dish for you. The only two con I have for this place was the wait and parking. From the time we were seated it took roughly 40 minutes before our food came out & when it came to parking there is a very small lot for the amount of store fronts. We had to circle around a few times before seeing someone leave for us to park."
"I haven't had an issue with expired products I've bought here, but the customer service is basically non-existent as other reviewers have said. I don't mind that as I'm used to it and because I don't shop there to make friends lol. I shop there because they have a lot of unique and specialty items that you won't see elsewhere. Some of my favorite products here: curry cup noodles, a wide array of real sugar soda brands, and a new favorite is Ollipop sodas. You should be fine here if you can stand to have the person who rings you up be nothing more than that. I'm sure you'll find something new and fun to try. Oh, and I got one of their sandwiches once and it was nothing fancy but was good."
"If you like wine, this is the place to go! Even if you don't have the money to buy one of the super expensive $4,000 dollar bottles of wine, go ahead and browse the aisles to find a reasonable bottle of red that's more in your price range, whatever that price range might be. They have inexpensive bottles staring under $10 that are not only respectable, but will more than satisfy your wallet and pallet. But red wine isn't all they stock. They have a fine offering of white wines, hard alcohol, hard to find accoutrements, cheeses, and other alcohol-based odds and ends that will have you wandering the store like a kid in a candy shoppe. You will find yourself oohing and ahhing at all of the interesting and delicious goods. They also have wine samplings, tasting days and evening boat cruises where you can talk with reps and distributors while rubbing elbows with other local residents. The Bottle Shoppe has a plethora of goodies for pickiest wine snob or the average Joe who just wants a great shopping experience. Mosey on in and have some fun!"
"Great range of tequilas and mezcal. Appearances can be deceiving: from the street this looks like a typical neighbourhood liquor store. Inside: huge chiller full of beers and whites. Racks of gin, whisky, vodka and the best range of tequilas and mezcals I've seen in LGB. Worth a drop in for sure."
"Had to stop here to get a Pliny; it's such a rare find, so they only sell one bottle per person. Friendly staff and AMAZING SUPPLY of wine and beer! You gotta check out the Beer Cave that they have at the back of the store; it's a hidden gem!Small parking lot at the front of the store. Reasonable prices."
"1st annual Long Beach Craft Beer Festival.....Hmm....whenever it's the 1st time of anything, I was a super skeptic. Sure enough, there were a few hiccups along the way. 1)There needs to be more signs-If you park in the structure, you have to walk backwards to will call to get your tickets by the tables only to be told you have to walk a little more to the box office tables. They had scan my ID for age verification, and of course when I had to redeem my tickets at the table for an lanyard, they wanted to scan my ID again. Seriously, there needed to be some kind of order as everyone there needed something to do. 2)The track needed to be open-First of all, the breweries were located on the outside of the track. The oval shaped track that they made you walk around to get to the other side. How was that for VIP? The band playing in the middle of the track and the human fuseball were great ideas, but can we please have it open so people can feel like VIP to get to the other side? 3)2 ounce pours-Well, no really a complaint since there weren't that many people here and even though I think 2 ounce pours were a little ridiculous at first, it wasn't too bad not having to wait. So anyways, if those three items are thought about for the following year, I think a second or 3rd annual would work well. Shout out to 97.1 for playing their tunes, though I would've loved it if you can hear the music throughout. I think the organizers would've done better if we couldn't had the event inside of the track. Big thanks to YelpOC for the tickets, really did enjoy myself and especially Coedo's black lager Shikkoku and the Plum flavored Tsuyu Saison. The Lost Abbey's Track #10 bat out of hell was ridiculously good also the framboise de amorosa wasn't bad. Phamtom Carriage had Broadacres Berliner. Smog city brought my favorite Coffee Porter and of Belching Beaver brought they PB Stout. There were many other smaller breweries, many I haven't heard of, which was one of the selling points for this event. Besides those hiccups above, I enjoyed the event truly and think if they had more publicity and food trucks, it would certainly be a great beer festival. The little Dasani water and having the volunteers rinse your glass was a nice touch.(Oh, parking on the weekends can be done on the other side of Atherton for free if you're willing to walk)"
"First time at King Chang, and I can see why my Korean girlfriend loves this place. The lively ambiance, upbeat music, and attentive staff were definite highlights.Food: * Banchan: Great variety--Japchae noodles, broccoli, candied peanuts, fish jerky, salad, and bean sprouts were all solid. The kimchi, however, was pale and bland. * Couple Combo: My boyfriend and his daughter, who lived in Seoul for years and is quite picky, loved the pork belly but found the Galbi a bit too sweet. The soybean paste stew was good but not the best she's had. * Seafood Pancake: Our favorite! Packed with seafood and perfectly crispy--if you love pancakes, this is a must-order. * Spicy Octopus Rice in Hot Stone Pot: Absolutely delicious! I wished for more octopus and less rice, but it was so good I happily took leftovers home. * Buckwheat Noodles in Chilled Broth: Served mid-meal, though it felt more like a dessert. It was okay but not something I'd reorder. * Corn Cheese: Simply delicious.Overall, we had an amazing experience. There's a reason this spot is a favorite among K-pop and K-drama stars. Just a heads-up--you will leave smelling like KBBQ, so come prepared!"
"Been wanting to try 450 north brewing . Never had a sour in my life. It doesn't taste like the normal beer or ale. Very light carbonation. I like the fruit and beer combination. $8-13 varying per can. Nice staff"
"Best aguachiles I've ever had and I've tried plenty! I can see myself coming every Thursday for my fresh aguachile fix. They mix the ingredients to perfection with it being the perfect amount of spicyness. Can't wait to also try the short ribs w their secret marinade. Family owned business that takes great care of their customers. Great food and a convenience store all in one. Don't sleep on those aguachiles on Thursdays! So fresh and so clean. I want some more already!"
"I love this store and deli. My husband and I get sandwiches there all the time. The pastrami Ruben, the meatball sub, & the French dip are all really good. The people that work there Also very nice & welcoming. There's plenty of parking and some picnic benches that face the park that are really nice to sit and eat at."
"So happy to see Stearns get a second location!! Their craft beer selection is superb along with the wine & spirits. You can even follow them on Instagram to see what's new: stearnsbixby! The previous owner ran this place down and they're going to work on making it like new again. Can't wait to see what develops!"
"This is my local liquor store, walking distance, and I love it. Frank is as awesome as the craft beer selection."
"Super Convenient if you live in the Cal State Area and don't want to have to drive to the grocery store or CVS for liquor if you are hosting a party and run out of libations - EEK!!This is the one right next to the 24 hour Kinko's off of Atherton. This is the only liquor store close to Cal State on Palo Verde that carries hard liquor and doesn't overcharge TOO much for all of it. In fact they do have specials on occasion. Candy raid before the movies are pretty good here too. Check out the dollar bin for mini liquor bottles. They also have the cutest little $2.50 Patron Bottles!"
"I came in here the other day looking for a certain brand of whiskey that I can't find anywhere in the area. The owner said he didn't carry it but recommended one that was popular. A few days later, he had special ordered a couple for me. This is why I make this place a regular stop!"
"I visited this restaurant this past weekend with my cousin as we were craving sushi. The staff were all very friendly and our food came pretty quickly. We ordered a few salmon rolls, and crispy rice roll. Everything was good except the crispy rice roll that was cold and super hard as if it had been sitting out for a while. It tasted old. Other than that I would definitely recommend. Location is nice where you can enjoy a walk on the pier after. Place was small and quaint and clean. Will go back again to try something different."
"This is pretty much my childhood supermarket. I used to come here a lot as a kid with my parents. Great place for asian veggies and it used to be my go to place for all the cup noodles! More recently, I purchased alcohol here and prices are actually super reasonable. They also have balut from what I remember and durig COVID, they were giving out a bunch of hand sanitizer. Overall, good place to shop for groceries but I cant say its the ultimate freshest. All I can say is it is good enough and has everything you probably need for an asian meal.Parking can get pretty hectic but it's manageable."
"I've only been here a few times, but have been immensely impressed. They aren't a bar, but a tasting room. You can also get anything from the case for a bottle pour. And, their quick bites menu, while small, is top end.Got a tasting flight the first time I was here and bottle pour the next. The draft taster flight was 4 taps, plus they had 2 more for full pours. Selection is rotating. The bottle selection is superb. I went with the owner's recommendation for a stout (Faction out of Alhambra). You can't pour your own according to the rules, but he kept me topped off. From the tasting menu, I'd recommend the brat. Great flavor. They also have patsy w gravy, pizza/calzone things (calizza), bar snacks, and more dogs.Hope they get off double secret probation and are allowed more flexibility. But, in the meantime, it still is an incredible place. Maybe, just maybe, I wouldn't change a thing."
