So she thought getting cookies and brownies would be better than getting Dunkin Donuts. Well that Thursday morning at 10:08am while the place was empty, she browsed the selection, while Four employees stood behind the register. Keep in mind, no one greeted her as she approached (but that's fine, no one is required to say Hello Good morning to a customer as they walk in to their shop) so she stood in front of the register for almost ten minutes. Still no greet, or "we'll be right with you" I think there comes a point when you start questioning what's happening here. There are four employees two feet away from you chatting with each other, and no one says anything. Something is off. So unless my wife jumped over the counter to serve herself, she had no choice but to leave. She doesn't like making scenes or calling people out, so she walked out knowing, she'd never come back to waste her time here.Customer Service isn't the same.The sandwiches were good, but I can still get good sandwiches somewhere where good service is included. My wife would have been a constant spender for their pastry selection, as treating her clients with pastries is always on her agenda. But like she says, First impressions are everything."

"I am a sucker for a restaurant that makes their own pie! Amarith Farmhouse was just the ticket. We had lunch there on Wednesday. The pies were on full display in the bakery case.They also offered fresh, house-made donuts!!!! It is almost like they planned the food they offer just for me! You can tell already that I really enjoyed my lunch, right?The service included a friendly counter girl, prompt delivery of everything we ordered accurately and quickly. The decor is very homey, and country-casual.My chicken avocado club sandwich was delicious and had plenty of bacon. The onion rings were light, crispy, hot, and perfection. My friend had the Philly cheesesteak. He really knows his cheesesteaks! He said that his was perfect, and he proved it by inhaling the delectable beauty in record time.I can't wait to eat here again! The zaatar manaish has a fluffier dough and is drier than the lahmajun. It's good on its own, but I could see myself adding cheese to it since that seems like a good pairing. The man at the cashier is so friendly and makes you feel welcomed. The parking lot is tiny, but we've been lucky to find parking easily on our visits."

Would definitely get this again.-Winter Panzanella (burrata, nonna vinaigrette, chicory, squash, dried cherries $19) 3/5. The vinaigrette was a little too bitter for my friends and my taste. I love tomatoes in general, but the flavor in this stew was delicious. The bread is also one of the better breads I've ever had. -Frites w/ Bearnaise Sauce $9 (3/5) Unfortunately, the fries were soggy. The sauce was also under seasoned. I wouldn't order this again.TLDR: Order the mafaldine if you like tomato sauce/Bolognese pastas OR if you like white sauce/creamy egg pastas then you should order the Tonnarelli Alla Carbonara.Also-- get their bread from the bakery. The country bread was amazing and tasted like one of the best sourdough breads I've ever had."

I do like the open kitchen / seeing them bake everything concept. But I didn't like how there was no interaction from the staff. Nobody greeted me or anything. You order from a kiosk and then they call your name and just hand you over the cookies. They didn't say anything. It just made it feel like a factory and not very warm. Especially since I was a first timer and couldn't ask questions like what their recommendations areIt's cool they have different cookies for different weeks. They were sold out of the one I wanted. So keep that in mind before you decide to drop by! ** All their baked goods such as scones and bagels are made in-house and will be fresh out of the oven at 9:00am every day! But they do not refresh their baked items in their display case, so it's first come, first serve until sold out! So come in around that time if you want to grab any of those items. DROP BISCUIT SANDWICHWarm, buttery, flaky garlic cheddar drop biscuit with thinly sliced ham, cream cheese and melty, gooey cheddar cheese. This was so good! It was the perfect size too! These are to die for! JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR BAGEL Deliciousss! Made in-house and it shows! Lovely springy bagel bread sprinkled with jalapeño and cheddar. Bagel is not thin, but has a beautiful spongy bite to it. Toasted or untoasted, it was delicious with or without cream cheese. When toasted, delightfully crunchy on the outside and bread is still chewy and not dry. PUMPKIN SPICE LATTEThis was good, although there was more  nutmeg than cinnamon, which was kinda' sad. However, loved the frothy creamy milk. If only there was more flavor overall. COFFEE CAKE SCONEI'm gonna say it again. Deeeelicioussss! Fluffy and soft with the outside layers having a light crunch! Enjoyed every bite!Yes, it does taste like coffee cake, but subtle in flavor. If you didn't know the name, you'd probably think it's a cinnamon scone. But still more buttery than cinnamony. CHOCOLATE CHIP SCONEThis had a good amount of choc chips in each bite! However, I realized that the freshly baked scones do not taste the same after a few hours. Texture-wise still moist and biscuit-like in some areas, but some parts were dry. Unfortunate because the Coffee Cake Scone was a completely different experience! Scones should be consumed ASAP. Get there early to grab a scone or two fresh! BREAKFAST SANDWICHYes, gonna say it again! This was deeelicioussss! Recommended to me by the barista, so I had to try it! Fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage patty (a bit thin though), gooey melty cheddar cheese on a soft buttery brioche bun! Heavenlyyy! I don't think this is offered daily, as I did not see this on the daily menu, so if you see it, order it without a second thought! Eat it right away! Once you try it, you'll be dreaming of them daily! CALI BLTWanted to try an avocado toast and it seems this was the only toast on the menu with avocado in it. But didn't realize bacon was added too, hence the BLT.  Their house-made sourdough bread was absolutely crunchy, spongy, delightful! Super delish! That bread was so good and that crusty cheddar melted on top! The toppings were okay and wished it was a simpler toast with maybe heirloom tomatoes, smashed avocado, sea salt, black pepper and sprinkled with olive oil. CHEDDAR BAGEL (with Garlic Herb Cream Cheese)Toasted, it was perfectly chewy and lightly crunchy cheddar top on the outside. It was perfect as it was! The garlickly chunky herbed cream cheese was delicious with the bagel. I am officially a fan of their bagels! Not buying them elsewhere! It's the perfect combination. When the store first opened, they were not offering this and was still only on the truck, but I was glad to see it offered now in store.If you are in the area, I highly recommend you come check this place out. Also please follow them on social media so you can see where the truck will be at if you are not in the area as the churros from the truck taste just as good."

"Discovered Yummy Bakery on accident as we were having lunch in the same plaza. We later realized this is the same bakery (perhaps different location) that one of our relatives frequently visits and brings bao's from. Initially planning to just order a few different bao's for a post-lunch treat but then we thought, what the heck, let's just get a couple boxes! Box of Sweet Taro Buns ($13), Box of Egg Yolk Custard ($15.50), and Pandan Rice Cake with Coconut Drizzle ($8). The images within the menu showed the entire taro bun as purple but it came white with a purple dot which was a bit confusing but nonetheless, it was GOOD. The taro paste was very purple in color, thick, and had the perfect amount of sweetness. I was also a huge fan of the egg yolk custard - the gooey slightly salty, slightly sweet mixture that all come together when taking a bite into the bao - 10/10 would recommend. The thing I wouldn't recommend? Pancake rice cake was meh - not as soft as it had looked and the pandan flavors were not strong enough. Definitely a place to go for sweet bao's. Will have to try the savory next time."
