"The food is INCREDIBLE. We were started with complimentary concha's & got the carne asada chilaquiles platter with beans, instead of hashbrowns... it did not disappoint! Authentic, runny, incredible beans with deliciously flavored asada on top of perfectly crisped tortilla chips. The drinks are yummy, but sweet, so be warned! We came mid morning on a Monday, expecting no wait but there was about 15 minutes until a table opened up. Overall, no complaints! Be patient, and enjoy!!"

"I've seen this place for YEARS!! And I always wanted to try it but always forgot. So when I found myself waiting for my tires to get replaced next-door, I hopped on over and tried Springdale Café. The service was friendly and she was very patient with me as I looked over a very extensive breakfast menu. I ordered the French toast, platter and French vanilla iced coffee. At Springdale Café you order at the counter first, find your seat and they bring the food to you. The only issue I had was they used coffee mate for the flavoring of the iced coffee. I wish I would have known this ahead of time I would have just ordered a regular coffee other than that the food was great. What you would expect for a café. They had two TVs on if that's what you want to do maybe catch up on your news and or sports. The tables were clean."

"We went here for my moms birthday! It was simple tomake a reservation online and you can put any special requests or messages and I put we were celebrating a birthday and everyone greeted my mom when we got there which was great. Our server was also super helpful with suggestions of the menu. They give complimentary sourdough bread w butter which was delicious. We started off with calamari which was crispy and yummy. I got the salmon which was paired with gnocchi and corn SO GOOD! The salmon piece itself was big enough where I could take it for leftovers. We didn't ask but they ended up giving us a little cake w ice cream and a candle for my mom's birthday which was super sweet."

"I'll admit the Gram influenced my decision as I was craving Meditterranean, but the Hubs preferred Italian. So naturally, we agreed to check out Food Culture LA! (Note: there are only just a few street parking spaces up front. )From the exterior, there's an interesting mural on the wall and a long outdoor patio to the side. The inside is very clean, so we chose to eat inside. The cashier was very helpful. I ordered the Gyro Mix Plate with Gyros, Steak and Chicken,it turned out to be a really great portion. The Hubs ordered the Spaghetti Clams Alle Vongole and we both loved it!We'll definitely come back to try more!"

"After a luggage delay at the airport, we had quite a bit of time to kill and decided to search for breakfast nearby, luckily we came across sunrise cafe on Yelp! This was exactly what we needed to turn the morning around. The breakfast here was great! The menu was rather large and had so many things that sounded amazing, picking what to get was not an easy choice. After much back and forth, I settled on the Baja Omelet, and my mom the banana pancakes. Both meals were great! Portions were large and the food flavorful. Though it was a feat, we made sure to finish every last bite. Service was friendly and the place gave off a small town diner feel."

I'm not the biggest onion ring fan, but so crispy and can't go wrong. Service is pretty fast, food comes out in less than 10 mins. Been the go to spot for a tasty, fresh tasting burger with the fixin's on the pier."

"My cousin was staying with me, so wanted to buy him breakfast while showing him a small part of DTLB. The breakfast place I wanted to try was closed, so came back to this reliable place. He had the classic breakfast, which he enjoyed. The entire menu is available all-day, so I got the weekday special (black bean chicken chili & 1/2 sandwich for $11.96). The chili was very good...maybe too mild for a chili connoisseur (or someone from Texas who doesn't believe in beans in chili)...but reminded me strongly of the "fat-free" chicken chili that our cafe at a place I worked at for a while served (that used to be my lunch pretty consistently 3 days a week). I chose the chicken salad, which was OK, but as expected, didn't have much chicken on the sandwich. It was just filling enough to satisfy me for the long day ahead on a fishing boat."

"Best BBQ restaurant around in the Wild Wild West (of South Bay, SoCal area) First time at this location and second time here overall and I can say that this is the restaurant I plan to frequent for birthdays, casual dinners with friends and family, date nights, or any occasion where I want some darn good barbecue. A friend made a reservation and ate here on New Years Day, still a good crowd and lively. Our server was Leslie and she was very attentive with refilling our waters/cokes and replenishing their wonderful garlic rolls. Look at how they glisten with flavor, it's a must have for this restaurant! I ordered the smoked brisket plate with the cherry chipotle sauce on the side. For my two sides I went with baked beans and the Mac and cheese. It's my first time trying their brisket and it was soft, tender, and peppery flavor. Great quality and they do serve their meats until sold out (which has happened in my first Wood Ranch experience). Bursting with flavors and AMAZING quality food. A friend ordered the baby back ribs and I ate some too. The softest ribs around. Next time I come I'll try to share a few plates with family so I get to try all the meats!Now that Wood Ranch Grill is local, I'm only going here from now on. There were some bbq restaurants in the area that have gone up and down in quality from 2000s-2014ish, so this is the best news that I can eat here as often as I want for my BBQ cravings! Tried their chocolate cake dessert with ice cream and candied pecans. Wow. As a chocolate lover I can attest this isn't "pulled out from the fridge and served" but honestly has that true home made feel to it. Wood Ranch has salads and seafood options which may be cool to try, but hands down the BBQ menu is where you want to order from. They do serve smaller portioned meat sizes and sides a la carte, but I had enough leftovers for a lunch/dinner the next day. Great quality food and service, I hope to keep going here for many years to come!!!"

"Had lunch today at Black Pork. This is a very small place in a not exactly best location. Parking is on a neighbor residential street. The folks that own this business are very nice. I had three of their tacos: carnitas, carne asada and shrimp. They are large, so if you want a light lunch, I would suggest ordering 2. They use a lot of chopped jalapenos, so if you are concerned about heat, ask them to go light on the jalapenos.We also ordered the guacamole with pork. What this is is delicious guacamole with chicarones and pork belly. A large portion.All in all, I will be back soon. I will ask them to make sure the meat is drained before putting it on the tortillas. It is a bit greasy. The chef came out with a large bowl of clam chowder for us to try. Wow! He adds bacon to it. It was really delicious. If I hadn't already been too full from the 3 tacos and guac, I would have enjoyed it. My dining partner gobbled it up! I've also heard that they have steamed clams! These folks deserve to have us visit them. They need to thrive!"

They stayed in character & were so full of joy & playfulness. The food was good, can't go wrong with the classics: scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages, but they also had other options. If you visit, be sure to try the pork belly slices - just make sure to get the soft and juicy ones, as some parts can be a bit dry and tough. Overall, it was an experience that we recommend trying out."

The servers were really friendly as well. I ordered a Mimosa and Eggs Benedict with Avocado. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the biscuit wasn't soggy or hard. After finishing our food, there was a cute flea market in the courtyard right outside the restaurant, so we walked around for awhile. Parking in Downtown Anaheim is always a nightmare but luckily we parked in a structure about a block down. Overall, great place!"

We love the carne asada fries and the burger sliders here! They have different craft burger options to choose from either bbq or spicy jalapeno."

We came on a Saturday at 6pm and they had just started setting up for a live band. We ordered a few appetizers. The calamari was definitely the best one, if you had to choose one appetizer that's the one you need to choose. If you are looking to have a conversation this is not the place to go. The music and noise all around was a bit unbearable at some points. The singer at one point just started to almost yell. Was very confused about what was going on there. I got the ribeye sandwich and my husband got the burger. We both shared and I definitely preferred his burger though the sandwich was delicious. The burger was super juicy and flavorful. The serving size of the skinny fries was crazy! There were so many!The service was great and our server was super helpful and fun. Loved the place, I think I'll just come without the live music and maybe in the morning for some light."

"I don't visit the The Wayfarer often, but when I do I always have a good time.The food is worth a visit in its own right. The pulled pork sliders, for instance, are a thing of beauty. I've never had better pulled pork anywhere and heaven knows I've eaten my share of it over the years. The service is friendly and on the ball every time. Ambience wise, it's a roomy, comfortable place with lots of places to sit. I like to sit at the bar, but that's personal preference. Booze wise its full bar with a nice selection of craft beers. The place attracts some really good bands, including some that tour nationally. Last night, we saw Jerry Joseph. He was great. The Wayfarer is a good place worthy of your attention.Cheers!"

(They told us 30-40) the two people at the front didn't seem happy and didn't acknowledge me or say hi (I was the only one at the desk at the time lol)... The food was good!! we each had the two egg breakfast and shared the cinnamon roll French toast which was AMAZING. Next time I'll aim to sit outside on the patio since they are right on the water. Maybe not come on a holiday. Not sure if it's this crazy on a regular weekend day."

There are apartment buildings in the area so keep that in mind when searching for a spot. I was fortunate to get parking half a block away. Inside you have several seating options in several rooms, patio dining and counter seating as well. The service was excellent. While waiting I was offered something to drink and multiple staff members checked in with me to make sure I was being taken care of. I ordered chocolate chippancakes for my daughter, which she loved. I opted for the California Omelet which came with potatoes and toast. Serving sizes were large and the food tasted really good. I will defiantly go back to dine in."
