STEPH JUDGEMENT: Adorable wine shop with a huge selection and delectable snacks. I'd been meaning to check this place out for months but it always slipped my mind until I spied it on the way to the Bamboo Club to meet up with some friends for lunch. We decided to take a gander after lunch and we're so glad we did! The store is light, bright, and quite large, filled with shelves upon shelves of wine bottles. We asked the friendly and knowledgeable staff member for a recommendation and we decided to share a bottle. There are seating areas inside and out, but since it was a sunny autumn afternoon we decided to sit outside on their very pleasant patio. I forget the name of the wine we had (I did take a photo), but all I know is it was a red and we all enjoyed it. They do charge $15 for corkage, fyi. As the sun started to set it started to get quite chilly, so I availed myself to one of the Mexican blankets they had in a basket by the door, which I thought was a nice touch. I'd also noticed a lovely-looking Basque cheesecake as we walked in, and suggested to my friends that we share a slice. It was wonderfully scrumptious and we ate every last crumb. I came back with another friend a couple of weeks later on a weeknight. We brought a game of Scrabble with us to accompany our wines and also decided to try their stuffed mushrooms, which were delectable. They used to also have a restaurant next door called Mangette, and while they closed it, I'm glad that they're still making some food! I'm bummed I never got to try the restaurant proper, but apparently its spirit lives on. I will definitely be back before too long!

I really wanted to like this spot, but 3 stars is generous, because I really didn't enjoy it as much as i'd hoped. They do have a nice selection of good wines for $14 a glass. We tried a bright "Orange / Somos "Naranjito" " and a lovely cab Franc "Ampeleia" from Tuscany. Both were very good. They also offer a variety of simple snacks... nuts, chips, cheeses, etc.But they play very loud sort of "house" style music, which is not at all relaxing or conducive to conversation. The ambience is minimalist, and the service is as well. Servers are polite, but not attentive to detail. (They don't check back with a table once you've been served, and we had to wait and ask for napkins.) Due to their location in the middle of a busy block, there is limited street parking. That is not their fault. When I go out for a glass of wine, I want to savor the moment and the wine, but the loud music interfered.

Loved getting to check out Buvons! This was a spot I had been wanting to try so we went for pre-dinner drinks on Valentine's Day. We got a glass of the orange and chilled red. Both very smooth and delicious. The waitress gave us some background about the wines and offered to find us a bottle within the store if we were looking for something different. It has a nice aesthetic inside and cute patio outside. We sat inside since it was cold out and I didn't bring a warm jacket. There were cute little "Will you be my valentine?" cards on the table. Wine by the glass is $15, but I saw they have happy hour Mon-thurs where they're $10 a glass. I'd like to go back another time during happy hour and get to try some of their food, their bites sound good!

What an incredible little gem in Long Beach! Thanks to our most gracious Parisian beautiful soul of a host Luna who is so well versed in these beer wine thingies, we had a beautiful experience at Buvons (which means 'lets drink' btw). Have a glass or two of meuZenne in the beautiful and quiet garden in the backyard. There is lots of seating and plants to suit the needs of everyone! Maybe a smooth glass of Cantillon would strike your fancy. Pair either with the buttery sheep and goat cheese for an elegant savior faire! Do what you like here There are so many exquisite natural wines to choose fom so I suggest you join the wine club for the ultimate experience! Hey, the only beer I'd drink is only at Buvons Natural Wines. Maybe by chance I'll see you there! You're welcome ew

Cute place and good wine, but beware of the $15 corkage fee for the bottle that was bought at their bar to enjoy at their bar! The most bazaar thing ever. Corkage fee charged to a bottle brought from home is understandable, but a fee for their own bottle? Strange strange concept.

Beware of $10-15 corkage fee. Came here because my friend had a pop-up event and end up buying one bottle of beer. Everything was good until the bill came. The beer was 30 and somehow I ended up paying $42. I guessed they have some hidden corkage fee that was like $10-15. How the hell did they charged a corkage fee for a bottle of beer? Its literally just a bottle cap, not a cork. Stay away from this place.

The best service! So friendly and knowledgeable. Cute store and dining area with back patio The food tho, is over priced and every dinner course was COLD. I learned they do not have a full kitchen, but instead a prep room and reheat the pre-made food? I don't think I should pay over $100 for a dinner that is reheated :/ Good wine selection tho!

Nestled in the middle of a Long Beach neighborhood is a cute little hidden Wine bar where you can become a member or just Pop-in and enjoy a glass or bottle. Can't stay? That's okay, take it to go! Today, I picked up their Nas Del Gegant, a red wine they suggested would go great with the dinner I planned to cook. I'm no chef, but I used the wine to make a mushroom sauce, and let me tell you. It came out great! The girl (I didn't ask her name, sorry.) said this wine would go great with my filet mignon with mushroom sauce with a side of potatoes and green beans. I'm a new wine drinker, so I respect their suggestions when I go pick up a bottle. My sauce turned out finger-licking good. It tasted like a 5-star restaurant made it. Haha, I'm just excited the food was good, and pairing it with the wine tied it all nicely like a cute ribbon . Anyway, thanks to the girl who recommended the wine to me. My date also thanks you.

Buvons is absolutely my go to wine bar! Cozy night with your partner? Buvs. Wanting to gab with your closest besties? Buvs. Need a quick little $25 bottle of wine for the beach? Buvs!I've always struggled to find my niche within wine, let alone natural wine. With their teams friendly, easy-going approach it's become a place for me to learn and enjoy without the intimidation I usually feel. Their staff is quite knowledgeable, personable, and are happy to provide you with both an arrange varieties and fair prices! I used to think I hated white wine, and now (as they know) it's my favorite. True to the Long Beach essence Buvons brings in a welcoming place for all. They partner with other local creators and makers of all sorts adding nothing but warmth to the LB community! So if you're looking for a recommendation this is by far my favorite!PS, their back patio is the perfect spot to bring your friendly pup

This place has so much potential but misses the mark. First of all, cashless is not OK. LA should be legally doing away with it sometime this year, but they shouldn't have to. Businesses should not be exclusionary by not letting people pay in cash.Next, none of the wine have prices on the bottle, so you have to ask about every bottle you are interested in and consequently feel ashamed if it is more than what you are capable of paying. Lastly, wine is not organized by region or country-- but by cute buzz words that I find ridiculous --making it more difficult than it needs to be just to go in and grab a bottle from a region that you know you enjoy.
