Burger City Grill - Old Torrance

If I could leave a 10 star review, I would.Service was great, ambience was chill, the place was clean, the burger....HOLY MOLY, best burger with pineapple I've ever had. 10/10 recommendCan't wait to be in the area again to go back.I slurped the sauce off the wrapper it was so good

I heard this place was really good so I had to try it. The place was a little nicer than a basic burger joint. The staff was friendly. However when I ordered my burger combo I asked to substitute it for garlic fries but they couldn't do that. I was even willing to pay extra so i just substituted them for onion rings. They even went to check that they had onion rings but when I got my order it came with fries. I guess I could have checked my receipt because the guy said he did enter that I wanted onion rings but it didn't go through so I paid the difference. Outside of that mishap I would go back to this place even though I live in OC. The parking lot is small but they have a good amount of spaces. It would be tough if they were busy because I have a truck and it would be tight

I hate to low ball but we wanted to grab something for lunch (other plan fell through). A 3 is average and there you have it. I ordered fries and they were good but nothing special. We would've ordered other items but they're variety is probably a bit below average. No turkey burgers. Only beef burgers. Not much on the gluten free front either. Burger Cuty really doesn't have enough options for me to return (even if we are in the area). Maybe I'd have other opinions, if the available options worked for me. Maybe they're fantastic, but I'll never know. There was a wait even though I ordered online. No shade, but the time estimate was a bit off and I had to run back to something and to people who were waiting on food. Final Word: A 3. Nothing wrong with this place but not moved.

The burgers are fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries are crispy and seasoned just right. Service is fast and friendly, making for a pleasant experience. While it's a bit on the pricier side, the quality justifies it.

I ended up at Burger City Grill in Old Torrance while waiting for my car to get serviced at America's Tire nearby, and it was definitely the right choice!I ordered the combo with 2 chicken strips, a burger, and fries, which was just right for $12. The quality was spot on for the price, and it was a solid combo if you want a little bit of everything. I did have to pay an extra $3 for a drink, which I didn't mind too much, but it would've been nice if the drink was included.Service was quick and simple -- just what you want when you're on a time crunch. Only downside was the limited seating. It was packed, and I ended up waiting a bit until someone finished so I could grab a table.All in all, it was a great spot to kill some time, enjoy some tasty food, and fuel up while my car was getting worked on. Would definitely come back!

Went in not knowing what to expect. The buns were softer than a marshmallow and burger dripping with juice. I ordered the lunchbox #12 which comes with both the burger, two chicken tenders, and hot, crispy string cut fries. I added cheese to my burger (worth it) and got the special house sauce (it has a special name that I cannot remember for the life of me. It basically tastes like canes or zaxbys sauce but maybe with a hint of thousand island?). The service was great! The dude at the front welcomes you over the loud speaker (for all my millennials, think Good Burger movie style). He also has cat like reflexes. During the pass off of Mayo in a small container, my butterfingers dropped the container, it did a full 360-flip and he caught it midair. Not a single drop of mayonnaise was spared!

The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant had a nice crowd without being too packed, even around lunchtime. The food was hot, fresh, and seasoned well. The fries were especially delicious. I sat inside, where there was ample seating, making for a comfortable dining experience. I will definitely be coming back!

This classic burger place is the perfect stop when you want a burger that's elevated but not snobby. The super friendly service and casual, fun decor really stand out amongst fast casual places. The cheeseburger I ordered tasted so good with a well cooked burger pattie that was not over cooked and still retained a lot of juicy flavor. Other things on the burger all tasted fresh and added to the overall taste and texture of the burger. I also ordered zucchini sticks instead of fries and though they were a little on the soggy side they were still delicious. Good value for the price, too. We will definitely be back.

I love this burger joint! I would even dare to say it's much better than that other spot with the crisscrossing palm trees. My favorite here is the Lunch Box combo. Not only is it a pretty good deal but it tastes so good. It comes with a burger, 2 chicken tenders and fries. They have other amazing items on the menu but I seem to always come back for this.

One of the better burger places in Torrance. Their history of how they started is very interesting and very local feel. This place is affordable and tasty. Clems restroom and decent parking. Everything is made to order and fresh. Quality and quantity are both here. Service is great and fast. You can't go wrong here for a solid meal with the family or friends. Conveniently located near downtown Torrance area.
