I have been to 50% of the stores in this plaza and never noticed Brooklynz until a hockey parent suggested it as a post practice dinner. Reviews were phenomenal & I'm thinking about the pizza now. It is 7am.Crust is wonderfully crunchy and the perfect amount of sauce and good quality toppings. Nice foldability and a sturdy thin crust. $26 for a full Bronx (pepperoni, sausage, & meatballs) with 8 giant slices gets my two thumbs up. Definitely going to try the by the slice so I can see if Bronx reigns supreme.

Pizza is pretty decent, lots of toppings and choices. The only problem here is the service. Salvadorian lady is so rude. Never smiles, talks to you like she is doing you a favor. Constantly on her phone. Costumers can't ask a simple question because she gets annoyed. Place overall is alright

Finally got to try the this pizza joint in artesia today! This small pizza joint serves up New York style pizza, which is my second favorite type of pizza. They have in door dining for those curious. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pie which comes with chicken, ranch dressing and buffalo sauce. Pizza had ok cheese pull and some flop, but the flavor made it up for me. Neither the ranch or buffalo was too overpowering, it was just right. Overall a solid pizza and would come back for other flavors.

Have to stop by here for a slice of pizza every once in a while. One of the few places that actually sells slices and has more than one option on the slice . The Pizza is good. It doesn't quite compare to what you get in NYC, but is better than most that you will get here in California. The restaurant is always clean and there's always a place to sit to gobble down your slice.

I was born and raised in New York so of course pizza, specifically NY style pizza has a special place in my heart (it was my first table food according to my parents). Since coming to Cali I have tried all kinds of pizza and Brooklynz is top notch.Let's talk toppings, the toppings are fresh and not super "chunky" rather vegetables like the onions and peppers you'd get on a supreme (they call it the Manhattan pie) are not raw or falling off the pizza, they are baked right into the sauce and work well with the other ingredients. They also offer toppings like Ricotta and have a "white pizza". Their sauce is lightly applied so no massive gobs of it, the crust is thin and you can just fold it in half like a proper slice. My personal recommendations:The Manhattan pie - their version of a supreme (peppers, onions, olives, garlic, pepperoni and sausage)The Brooklyn Pie - Pepperoni, Meatballs, mushrooms and fresh garlicThe Bronx Pie - Pepperoni, Sausage and MeatballThe Long Island Pie - No sauce. Fresh tomato, basil, garlic and grated Romano cheese. As for service, it's a carry out shop or get delivery. I have never had an issue with either and the pizza is always hot and fresh. Same goes for Ambience, it's a nice little hole-in-the-wall place with no real frills and maybe a couple tables if you want to just sit and eat a slice (they do pizza by the slice as well).

My husband really wanted pizza so we gave this place a try. It's located in the same parking lot as Stater Bros and Chase Bank. There's plenty of parking, but I can see it being very zoo'd out if its really busy. This place is deceptively big - There's a lot of booths and tables to choose from. Order your food at the cashier and they bring it to you.My husband wanted pizza, so he got two slices along with a drink combo. He got a white pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were very oily - like oil was dripping off each slice. I blotted it with napkins to cut back on the fat.I tried a bite of the white pizza and didn't think much of it. The cheese was rubbery and kind of squeaked when I was chewing. I didn't like it. My husband wasn't impressed either. He said that it was too oily and very flavorful. Maybe it was the time of day we went? We did go in the late afternoon. This place was clean and the staff was friendly, but this time around the pizza just wasn't good.

Let me break it down. They have really good Pizza. There Buffalo chicken pizza though... is the Best! It is amazing.I call ahead to see if they have two slices of their Buffalo chicken pizza. If they do, I bring my kids and we have pizza, garlic knots, and drinks. It's wonderful. If they don't have 2 slices of Buffalo chicken pizza, sometimes, they will make it, but most of the time they will not. If that happens, I call the other location and if that location doesn't have 2 slices of bufflo chicken and is not willing to make it, I look at my kids and till them we are going to have to get pizza somewhere else today. No Brooklyn's pizza today. And that's the story. Also another interesting fact: the Artesia location serves coke products and the Cerritos location has Pepsi products.

I hold a special place in my heart for New York style pizza. I always imagine a semi burnt crust on top and the bottom with large sized slices. I also expect a little more than average amount of meat and cheese grease on top. Almost to the point where I want to dab a little off. The pizza here is totally lacking that grease goodness I'm looking for. The amount of sauce is not enough for me and the pep and sausage is kinda skimpy too. I ordered the Manhattan Signature pie. For the price they need to put on more toppings and bake at a higher temperature to get the crust up to par. So minus two stars for the crust and toppings.
