Brolly Hut

I grew around the corner from this place and have been coming here for years, and I enjoy the food from Brolly Hut. With saying that, they have their issues.Food:The food is your typical mom and pop shop style food. It's greasy, it's good, it has flavor, and it's a local spot everyone knows about. I'm not mad at the food at all. I ordered 2 chicken salads and an order of fries. The fries only come in one size.Service:I have to say the service was extremely bad. The cashier was yelling next, which is fine, but didn't say hello or hi. No customer service experience at all. I asked for a pastrami salad, and I was told they don't make pastrami salads. So I asked if you could put the pastrami on the side, and they had to get approval. Someone in the back said yes, it's fine. I then asked if they have a chicken salad, which I already knew they did, but I wanted to see what the difference was from pastrami and chicken. The cashier said yes, we have a chicken salad, and I replied back, "What's the difference from pastrami going on the salad compared to the chicken? The cashier stated we just don't do it. I said Okay," and ordered 2 chicken salads and an order of french fries. I got my number and sat down and then waited for my order. After the 3 people who ordered after me received their food, who also ordered multiple options from the menu. I walked up to the window to see if I saw anything that looked like a salad being prepared and only saw another order that came after me being prepared. I walked up to the cashier and asked for my money back as I did not want to wait any longer because I felt like my conversation about the pastrami and challenging why they didn't do it somehow rubbed the staff the wrong way and decided to make my order after everyone received their order. When I asked for my money back, the cashier said, "Why? I explained my reason, and the staff spoke about it and then decided to give money back. The crazy thing is they never started my order, and I was waiting for 23 minutes with only 2 people in front of me, and they left 10 minutes into my wait time. Everyone else came in after me. It's sad when the food is good but the staff makes you not want to come back.Atmosphere:It's dingy and looks beat up. The tables and chairs are the original but haven't been taken care of.Price:The price is good for the food, no complaints. 2 chicken salads and an order of fries came out to 25.82Location:It's in Inglewood, CA, on Crenshaw Blvd.

The Food is amazing, There's not a big personification of culture in LA when you past the 10, but in South LA (Inglewood's Edge Close to Hawthorne & Crenshaw) Brolly Hut is one of the best Fish Sandwiches you can get. Their Steak sandwich is FIRE, the breakfast is ALL DAY, and the Price is REASONABLE!!! Most Importantly. If you don't want price inflated food, gone get some Brolly Hut

Brolly Hut!!!!!!! I'm so disappointed this pastrami sandwich was disgusting I couldn't even eat it. There was so much fat on the meat where it was Lard......!!!!! I sat in the parking lot in disbelief that the sandwich wasn't like it used to be to be years ago.. I don't know if it was a new cook and he didn't want to come into work that day but I just have to let you know I am very dissatisfied with my whole order.

I had been wanting a good pastrami so I was told try Brolly Hut...Epic FAIL!! Ordered 2 pastrami's grilled with cheese, mustard, mayo, & pickles, order of fries and 1 shake. Now I get charging for the cheese but they charged $1.50 for the grilling. As I'm watching the so called cook do orders he's letting the meat grill forever and I'm like damn when is he going to take it off the grill. So I get my food after waiting 15 minutes get in my car and it was PURE GARBAGE. He cooked it so long it was extremely greasy, meat was too hard to chew, and burnt and for $15 it was slithers of pastrami meat on both sandwiches. Very disappointing and would not recommend coming here for a cup of water!! Spent almost $40 for garbage and let's get real these people are really getting over on us and we all need to STOP supporting bad businesses until they fix their issues. I will NEVER go back here, NEVER!!!

Been coming here for years to get breakfast but my favorite is the chili cheese fries with pastrami but for some reason don't seem like it's that same...was kinda disappointed

Haven't been here in over 20yrs. Had a taste for Taquitos. Their pastrami chargers, fries, chili and onion rings use to be good. I'll check it out and see if there is sky fuss over the taquitos. I can't recall if I ever tried them. They are only $3 and change so it may not be any fuss lol.

Pastrami fired with grilled unions is bomb been going here since I was 10 or the bacon cheese burger I might just go there today and they have theeee best thousand island dressing ever to dip fries in

Had a burger it was really good. Ordered zucchini fries I didn't care for them but my husband loved them but the winner for me was the ranch..IYKYK it's a deal breaker if it's not good

The food is always great. They need to work on the online site. It's always glitching

Ordered a sandwich, told them that I didn't want the sandwich cut. She told me that I had to get it cut. It made no sense. I ask why, she asked the cook. She said he said he would do it "this time" but this time only. I was like why is it a problem? She said the owner would be upset at the cook. I said confused, "I'm the customer. Not cutting the sandwich is one less step, and if how I want it is on the ticket it should not be a problem." She gave me my change and the staff bantered instead of bussing the dirty tables!I waited, wanting to speak to the owner (if she wasn't lying) about how stupid that rule was, but decide not make the issue bigger since I was getting what I wanted. I took my food home when it was ready. I have ordered the same thing in the past with no problem or complaint. My sandwich was a mess when it is normally well made, with less cheese and fries than they normally put on the order.Again, as I reviewed before, the food and service has declined. I will not come back to this place again. The problem with cutting the sandwich is that when you bite into it, the content fall out. Uncut, you can hold the contents in place while you eat it. I'm tired of the poor quality food and service here.I would love to speak to the owner one day about this. Sadly, fish usually rots from the head, as they say.
