We went and it's not busy at all. Went on a Friday about 2:30. You order at the front and then enter the seating area around the side. Odd but whatever. I thought they would have outdoor seating seeing how they are the building out in the ocean, but nope. Maybe too windy? I really wanted a lobster roll and you would think that Cali would have several options of lobster roll but no. So I yelped it and this one came out first. I was looking for dog friendly and they are so. It was delicious! We had both chilled and warm rolls, I had the warm and I LOVED IT. Fries are fries but I could have done without them. We also ordered calamari. Very good!! Very good. (We drove down from Anaheim to go eat here and will return.

The view is great for being out on the end of the pier. Service was nice however it took a great deal of time for the food to come out when there were only a few people in the location. The lobster roll was good but I wouldn't say it was the best I've had. The people were really nice and I suggest going here for the view.

$25 per lobster roll is expensive but it is a fairly average price for a lobster roll, but they are rather small!! you won't be super fullwe got one warmed with butter & another chilled with mayo!! both very good i enjoyed the sea salt sprinkled on topwe also got a side of fries, the old bay aoili to dip was DELICIOUS!!very spacious & there's plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs & you get beautiful views of the oceanyou order down at the front of the restaurant and pick up your food on the lower level inside

We've been here before and when we heard my nieces hadn't tried lobster rolls we just had to bring them.We ordered 4 lobster rolls, 2 clam chowders & fries. The rolls were so delicious but I wish the chowders had the option of no bacon. They were passable but I don't see me ordering the clam chowders again.Once we were done with the rolls we realized we wanted MORE so we ordered 4 more! That's how yummy they are!The service was great, very friendly. The ambiance was great, casual trendy with an ocean view, can't get better than that!I would've given 5 stars except for the chowder. Maybe they shouldn't blend all the items together to allow the clams to shine through & the option of no bacon.

The best lobster roll is officially in huntington! I was always willing to drive to malibu for Broad Street Oyster, but so happy that they are in both LA and OC now! Literally the best lobster rolls and views. You cant beat it. Came here on a Saturday and enjoyed a peaceful lunch with a view of the pacific ocean. Friendly and efficient service - we were in and out of there in a breeze. Looking forward to the next Huntington Beach adventure which will definitely include Broad Street Oyster.

The kids and I decided on a staycation in Huntington Beach. On Sunday morning we went for a long walk/ride along the beach then headed to the end of the pier to Broad Street for lunch. I agree with some others that the ambience is lacking, but the views are awesome, and the food was great. I started with 1/2 dozen oysters and a champagne. My kids got the chicken tenders and the burger. I also got the Caesar salad with lobster added. The guy taking orders also recommended the lemonades so my boys got that too. Everything came out quickly. The hot food was nice and hot. The French fries that came with both of their meals were really good. They don't have ranch but did have good aioli that worked perfect. The oysters were really good. Fresh, good accompaniments. My kids and I did some "dares" with the horseradish. (Don't worry, everyone is fine)The Caesar salad with lobster used whole baby gem lettuce leaves so it was crunchy. It came with anchovies which I removed. The lobster was nice on top and tasted great with the salad. All in all a great lunch. It wasnt cheap but when is good seafood inexpensive. It's not. I'd definitely go back and probably try some other dishes along with the oysters.

Definitely worth the hype! This place has been on my list for a while and we decided to give it a try. The warm butter lobster roll was 10/10, I added the caviar for an extra $15 which put the taste over the top. Now, was it worth the $15 for the little dollops of caviar? I don't know. But it was delicious! The roll is really small and I was still hungry after but it's definitely worth a try.We also ordered chicken tenders and fries, surprisingly delicious. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the wait was little to none. Luckily, the place was empty in the afternoon. It's a great spot to have lunch! You can park near the pier and walk on over. Get some sun and some good food!

I wish there was a way to add no stars, in my opinion this place doesn't even deserve the one star. The location is beautiful but even still my husband and I walked away almost fighting saying never again. My husband was so excited to try their "world famous lobster rolls" and it broke my heart to see his smile disappear as soon as the food came. He paid 30 dollars for a single lobster roll that he ate in two bites. It was tiny ! Nothing like it looks in the picture with maybe 3 pieces of meat inside so underwhelming! I work at Naxos in Las Vegas and our oyster bar has MUCH BETTER lobster rolls that aren't even that expensive the quality and quantity is vastly different. Not to mention the place was not clean, my husband and I had been there for almost an hour and there were plenty tables unbussed with food sitting on them it was gross. Also I really didn't appreciate that when we were ordering the roll that comes single the guy asked if we wanted fries or coleslaw with that as if it came it and I'm so glad my husband asked if it came with the roll and the guy said uh oh no it doesn't. Super super disappointed !! Do not come here

Not happy with this place! They would upsell you and make that upsell so quick-- have you pay, get you seated, ask you if you need anything else, but your head would reel wondering why the heck you paid $196 (including tip of $20) for only three persons and a meal that we could really get cheaper somewhere else.I knew Ruby's Diner was replaced, but never got around to visiting Huntington Pier till now, and was at first pleasantly surprised that it's now a seafood place. We went inside, my friend who's visiting the area went straight to the counter and requested some oysters, shrimp cocktail, potato chips and water, hoping for to pay for a bill of just over $100. The guy at the counter was so quick in offering the seafood tower at $135 - did not give her time to think at all, punched $135 fast, added tax and water (water was $6 + ), plus tip and done. I do blame my friend for saying yes so fast without checking what goes with the $135, and not be assertive enough to stop the super speedy transaction, but the restaurant staff should have explained things better, more slowly. I felt like the staff took advantage of his customer. A few lobsters, baked mussel, shrimp cocktail, California caviar and potato chips - it's all good, I think, they all seemed delicious, but I felt that we were hijacked --I personally wasn't able to really appreciate the food. I'm giving this three stars, not one, because I do think the food was good and the view from the restaurant was great. Just be careful with the upsell, please.
