Bonello's New York Pizza

OMG !!! BY THE SLICE! LEGIT NY PIZZA absolutely FKN delicious !!!!! I'm a NYER so I should know... if you know you know WOW ! step back into time when you walk into this joint !

Staff were friendly and it's in a convenient location to me with plenty of parking. Prices are average. However, I didn't think this was any better than a chain pizza like Domino's. I've even had frozen pizza just as good as this place. I give Bonello's a 5.9 pizza rating. Not overly seasoned, which I like, but in contrast, it doesn't have a strong flavor. The undercarriage wasn't charred to my liking. No flop. Ok crisp. Not cheesy. It's not bad pizza, so if you are craving a New York style pizza, you don't have many options in this area, so come here.

Good food and good service! Stopped for a quick bite before heading back to the hotel for the night. Ordered a combo #3 which included a cheese or pepperoni slice, salad, and a drink. They served the salad quick and the pizza shortly right after. Everything tasted good! Pizza was hot and fresh. Crust was crispy. I do appreciate the garlic powder on the side. That's how you know it's a good new york style pizzaria!Small little shop on the corner of a Plaza. Gave a nice tip because they were closing soon and the employees working there are nice people. I also enjoy supporting local businesses. Thanks for what you guys do!

Bonello's is a no frills NY style pizza place, it's really that simple, the pizza isn't amazing, but it's not bad at all either. I still have to try some of their other items, so this is purely rated on their pizza. The value is great, especially if you're getting an extra large pizza. Absolutely fire. I can confidently say this place has the best NY style pizza in Torrance. We got two 14" pizzas, one with Canadian bacon, sausage and mushroom and the other with just pepperoni and it lasted us two nights. Not to mention, they are so friendly there and super quick.

A cute little pizza shop with great NY style pizza! We wouldn't have thought it was a pizza shop if we hadn't found it on Yelp ahead of time from the outside. Inside it has a counter and a few booths for seating with quaint NY style decor on the wall. The service was very friendly and quick. The pizza is appropriately priced if not good deals especially considering how inflation has caused insane price raises everywhere else. We really enjoyed the pizza and particularly were looking for NY style pizza and it did not disappoint. Since it was thin it was easy to eat many slices on the car ride home! Would love to return if we're in the area.

I was craving NY pizza and found this joint nearby. Walked in and was helped straight away by the 2 dudes behind the counter. They only have cheese or pepperoni slices but they are massive, 3 slices are basically 6, and pretty cheap too. Three slices only set me back $10 I believe. Right amount of cheese, a mild spice flavor to the sauce, however the dough and crust was disappointing. It seemed a bit undercooked so it was quite chewy and could have used a bit more fire and crispiness. They have a couple lunch special offers so be on the lookout. Parking lot is cramped but not impossible to grab a spot during lunch hours. A few seats inside, mostly full and lively during lunch. Would consider coming back if craving a NY slice or two, but would have to double check it's not undercooked.

I love the pizza here!! This is my regular Pizza stop. Love the extra cheese, love the mushroom. Sean and Spencer and Angela are awesome stop in here for a taste of New York.

Bonello's used to be our go to pizza spot when my sister attended an elementary school nearby. We had moved out and now we are back in the area and the quality stayed the same, delicious! Fast forward 10 years later and my sister still asks for Bonello's! Her favorite! Service was friendly and welcoming.

Great NY style pizza outside of NY! A little biased as a SoCal native with nostalgic memories of real NY pizza, but their fresh-out-of-the-oven pepperoni pizza was 5/5. There was a nice crunch on the crust; it was overall just tasty. Got the combo which includes one large slice of pepperoni or cheese, a soda, and salad for $9. The salad was tasty but a bit overdressed in my opinion (a couple Tbsp of dressing at the bottom of the bowl) and comprised of shredded lettuce, olives, a few tomatoes, and mozzarella. Dressing taste was just right though. We also got the combo but with the garlic bread, which appeared to be made of a sandwich roll and was a little dry by the time we ate it. Flavor was decent though.Agree with other reviewers that service is bomb. Super friendly. Patient while I decided what to get, and accommodated my request for water before ordering and a mix of the pink lemonade/sprite for my beverage :)).Ambience is super casual with I think 4 booths, with fun NY souveniers around and varied wall decor. Slight hole-in-the-wall vibe. Plenty of parking on a Sat at lunch time.Would def come back if I want NY style pizza or a meal again before or after Amai Tea & Cafe in the next plaza down.
