Absolutely loved this spot. It's pretty humble upon appearance, but the service and quality of the food blew me away. Laid-back and welcoming environment all throughout. We decided to make our own pizza, and chose to go with marinara sauce for our base (along with mozzarella cheese), and topped it with pepperoni, fennel sausage, and ricotta. 9/10. Absolutely delicious choice and easily fed my partner and I with some leftovers. Will definitely be coming back, ready to try to pasta dishes! Visit this place if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed!

Above and beyond truly! Note: smaller place, so if you have a bigger party, I'd recommend calling ahead. With a party of 2, I have had good luck of getting seated quickly! Very kind and fast staff -- you get welcomed with a plate of warm pesto flatbread (I overindulged in this!) and I felt like my drink was never empty! Fungi pizza was my favorite, with the New York pizza in close second! Fresh and delicious. I don't like carbonara usually -- this was the best carbonara I've ever had. Pasta is cooked perfectly and the sauce is very rich. Now a favorite Italian spot of mine that I really recommend.

Friends recommendation of trying one of most popular Italian restaurants in HB. It's located in a small area where there's a desert place that's less than 1 min walking distance. So parking is limited during its peak hours. You walk in if there's open table and wait for to be seated...or you sign your name and party size and wait to be called. Didn't know that and waited for like 5 min till friend had to get server attention. Inside is very small so expect to wait if have a party of 3 people or more. You get to see the cooks cooking so that's some kind of entertainment. Has only one Large Flat screen TV. The menu is simple with antipasta, salad, 14 inch pizzas and steak and pasta dishes. Sadly, no appetizer options. Water is free and fountain soda is refillable. Each table comes with complimentary pesto bread appetizer but extra $3 charge if want more. Bread wasn't fresh and it's very dry and the pesto sauce didn't help it. Order the usual ciopponi and Dr Pepper and decide to try New York whole pizza while friend order bolognese pappardelle. Everything is homemade and fresh according by overhearing the male server (female server didn't mention that and even say for being first timers) so expect to wait. Food finally arrive and was it worth the wait? Let's break it down:- New York pizza looks appetizing. The cheese is fresh and crust isn't dry. Each ingredient has the perfect char and doesn't look burnt.- ciopponi is the smallest one I have ever seen because you don't get a lot for that price- bolognese is ok according to friend but not worth the price Overall this place is ok but expect a lot more. One other good thing is...at least the pasta isn't too salty.

Got the NY Pizza and tried to customize itby swapping out sausage for bacon. It was very good, but I think the original chef recipe was better. Also had to get the meatballs. They are delicious, marinated artichoke hearts, garlic sauce, spiced meat, just amazing, I highly recommend. Lastly, I always enjoy the bread with the pesto that they bring before the meal. Very cool of them and yummy as hell.

Small and intimate. Definitely cute enough to be a date night but tight enough to listen to the conversations next to you. Cash only, so come prepared. Honestly, I thought it was just okay. The service was hit and miss, even though we were told there's 3 persons front of the house that can help. We split 3 pizzas between three people because we couldn't decide on just two. My personal ranking:1. Claim Pie2. New Yorker Pie3. Fungi PieThe crust is delicious but everything was very oily which led to an upset stomach. So try at your own risk. Parking: plentifulService: hit or missFood: didn't quite match the price tag, portions kinda small for price point (and I repeat, it's cash only so don't come surprised)

This is a small place and it was packed with a line out the door. The service was very friendly and the food was fantastic. The pizza was amazing, the spaghetti was perfect and the arugula salad out of this world. I can't want to come back and try some other things!!

The first time I came here with my mom, we were eating lunch and it was not too busy, so we were seated immediately. Our very helpful server recommended that we try the Fungi pizza as it was his favorite, and I wish we listened to him in the first place. We tried the New York and the Pistachio and Mortadella instead, and mom and I will tell you that the Pistachio and Mortadella was the better of the two. However, a later visit to this place allowed us to finally try the Fungi, which I now have decided to be my favorite. The mushroom and cheese flavors mesh so well together. I am dreaming about the Fungi pizza and will be back to order more.

Cash only.Say it with me now: CASH ONLY. Now that's out of the way, this family owned spot serves out super legit thin crust wood fired 'za. Ingredients are high quality and service is friendly - you can tell they care. I've only done pizzas, but the pastas look tempting as all get out. Just don't forget to stop by the ATM first.

I've had this spot bookmarked for awhile now but never got a chance to visit due to their hours and being cash only. I finally got a chance today after seeing that they're now open for lunch hours.I was really hoping to enjoy the food but ultimately am very disappointed. Service was friendly while ordering so one of the stars is for that. I ordered the spaghetti with lobster and the Calabrian pizza per recommendation. Starting off with the Spaghetti with Lobster. With it being their highest priced pasta, you would think there would be sizeable chunks of fresh lobster. That was not the case here and the "lobster" shreds you can find I believe are not lobster. Ive never had lobster that flaked apart and disintegrated like this. The texture was that of imitation crab and tasted like it too. Real lobster has some bite and flavor. This is essentially a clam spaghetti which is fine, but I ordered lobster spaghetti. I also found several of the clams to be gritty and even bit down on a larger grain of sand.I also ordered a pizza and was recommended to try the Calabrian pizza which has sausage, ricotta, onion, and their Calabrian sauce. While I enjoy the texture of their pizza dough, I wasn't a fan of the toppings. It was overwhelmingly creamy from the Calabrian sauce and ricotta so the toppings were outshone. Unfortunately I don't see myself coming back. Although the service was pleasant, the food was disappointing to me.
