Bluebird Haus Sushi

Where to even begin!! This place had been on my list to try since they have lots of vegan options and we finally made it out.There are 4 partners in the restaurant and one of them was also our server for the night. He greeted us warmly and quickly brought water and menus. We ordered the crispy rice with avocado, popcorn roll and tofu crunchy roll. When we were ordering he told us about an item they're trying which was a vegan roll with yellow curry sauce and mock shrimp so we said we'll give it a try.Each item was SO good. If you like wasabi flavor the crispy rice with avocado has a wasabi vinaigrette. The tofu crunchy roll was fresh and presentation was so nice. The popcorn roll has tempura cauliflower on top with a spicy mayo drizzle which was almost like 2 dishes in one. And finally the trial item of yellow curry roll with mock shrimp was my favorite. It was SO good and i loved the Thai and sushi fusion.Turns out some of the restaurant partners are Thai so they put a unique spin on this roll to try something new. We got to chat with the partner and he told us about his story in the restaurant business and how they like to experiment with different items to change up the menu. Highly highly recommend checking this place out. The restaurant is super clean and friendly ambiance. The staff are so so kind and the food was awesome. We will definitely be back to check out some more of their trial items!

Literally my favorite sushi in long beach. Nothing compares to the Tangy Salmon roll!! Their crispy rice spicy tuna is also the crispiest ever idk how they do it lol. They're so nice there too. Grateful to have this spot in my neighborhood!!

Found a place with tons of vegan options for someone in our group. Service was excellent. I had the tuna stacked on seaweed salad with spicy mayo and wonton chips. Loved it. My daughter got some vegan dishes and she loved hers, too. Her gf got ramen and she also said it was delicious. Too much to finish in one meal, she took half home. I live in IL but would absolutely go back. Luckily they live a couple blocks away and will be regular customers. Cute place, also!

Came here on a Tuesday at 6:30pm. No line to order we sat down enough seating and clean. QR code for the menu and service was quick. They had a sign but one get other roll 50% off which was awesome. We ordered the Baked Salmon & Avocado Roll it was bomb definitely recommend! The Philadelphia Roll which was good a bit too much cream cheese but that my preference. And the Blue Bird Roll which was good. Overall good food and nice little spot.

After wanting to check it out for over a year, my husband and I finally went last night for our anniversary. I am vegan (he is not) and we usually stick to our 2 "tried and true" restaurants but we decided to take a chance on a new place and we are SO happy we did! There are SO many vegan options and the service was spectacular. We will definitely be back again! Thank you, John (our amazing server and one of the partners) for a wonderful anniversary! A little hole in the wall spot but I must say it is a must-visit for sushi lovers in Long Beach. Located in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, this sushi spot offers an exceptional dining experience with a decent selection of fresh sushi rolls and traditional ramen dishes. They also have a ton of Vegan sushi options as well. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and each dish is beautifully presented. The sushi rolls are expertly crafted and burst with flavor with every bite. The chef roll and Seared Salmon Rolls are my favorite.The service at Bluebird Haus Sushi is exceptional. The staff is friendly, and attentive, making sure that you have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. They are happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions you may have about the menu.The restaurant's ambiance is perfect for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. I've been coming to bluebird for years now and they never disappoint. The restaurant is relatively small but the food is delicious. I'm vegan and they have vegan menu options alone with regular options as well. The staff is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. Street parking is tough because there's no parking lot but I usually end up finding a spot. I love Bluebird!

Food was incredible! I'm trying to eat more plant based, first time trying vegan dishes and I was blown away. Ordered the appetizer platter and loved it. The calamari superb. The mayo sauce was delicious. The avocado crispy rice was amazing. Loved it allService was excellent! Cute, clean, and very healthy spot.

No more 'Catch & Release!!" VEGAN Sushi at its best!!I've been wondering how vegan sushi compares to regular sushi. We'll, Bluebird Haus has set the bar and, it's high!! This is a very cute, small neighborhood business that has taken sushi to the next level. The selections are vast, the ingredients are fresh and the flavors are really good. The vegan chicken appetizer had me fooled... I took a bite and froze... I thought I 100% just bit into real chicken. But, NOPE, it was a delicious plant based chicken appetizer. However, if you're not a vegan or vegetarian, no problem! Bluebird Haus Sushi has all the delicacies you'd expect from a traditional sushi place. The prices here for both vegan and non-vegan sushi are the same as other places and parking can be a little challenging but, those will be small sacrifices compared to the food.

The food is so good! I got the Godzilla roll and tuna crispy rice and they were delicious! Service was great and they are very fast! I will definitely be coming back!
