Service here is always great. This is my local coffee shop that is an upgrade from standard Starbucks coffee. I usually order the drip over which is very very good. Coffee is always fresh and taste is incredible. The barista knows his stuff so don't hesitate to ask questions regarding taste or recommendations. The esthetic of this place is very relaxing. The only thing is make sure you park in the back. You can park next door but people be trippin. Either in front on the street or behind the coffee shop is best. I'll be back usually on weekends only I'm here.

Whiskey vanilla latte 5/5 - great espresso flavor with a nice sweetness. 12oz was quite expensive but very goodService 5/5 came around 7:15am and the barista was super chill. Other tidbits:Aesthetic of the drinks, drink name, interior, and vibe was 10/10. Fits together SOOOO well. Really cool art on the outside of the building.Parked on the street, but they have parking in the rear. Definitely coming back!

Food: 5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 4/5This is a hidden gem in the North Long Beach area that makes good, strong coffee. The cafe itself is so quiet and beautifully designed, but be careful of your surroundings when you step outside (the main street isn't the safest). The iced honey oat latte here is my go-to order - they make it perfectly each time! They also have really cute merch that I've purchased as gifts, and they feature local artists whose art you can also purchase.

Had a whisky vanilla latte with oat milk and it was delicious! The espresso was good, and the syrup had great flavor without being too sweet.

What a little gem. I live 9 minutes away from this shop and today I came across this place through Yelp. I love trying new coffee shops and in search for one in my Local area this pops up. I'm so glad I did. The honey oat latte is really good and so was the whiskey vanilla latte. I did t try the pastries, but I did take pictures of them. They look Delicious. I will for sure try them next time because I will definitely be going back. The place is small, but cute. There is not a lot of seating, mostly bar area seats. Black Ring....you definitely have me wanting to go back Soon. You gained a customer. :) so good.

Came here for a latté before guest-lecturing at a nearby university. The place was nestled just off the street with plenty of street parking. There were a few homeless outside, so I'm not sure about the rest of the area, but the shop was nice. It was clean inside and the counter was manned by 2 workers. The coffee was good but not over-the-top wonderful. I wish there was more seating inside, as I had a few minutes to kill while I was waiting for my order and would have liked to sit and drink for a while after too.

This place is a hidden gem! Love their aesthetic, but most importantly, love their drinks. Black Ring has some quality beans and a knowledgeable team that knows how to make great coffee. I got a flat white (a go-to when I visit coffee shops for the first time!) and my husband got their whiskey vanilla latte. Both tasted great and were very well made!Would recommend this spot if you're looking for a good cup of coffee!

This is such a hidden gem! Cute little coffee shop with good coffee/latte. Loved the Matcha Tea Latte here. I shall order it over ice next time. They also sell pastries here as well. Staff was friendly, helpful & service was great.

Let me start off by saying that I am so happy I stumbled upon this gem. As you first enter, you are greeted by the barista and welcomed by the peaceful energy in the room. They have great coffee and good tea options as well. I ordered the whiskey vanilla latte and let me just say that it was delicious. The barista was very friendly, she made great suggestions and she assembled my drink with such efficiency. I also tried the vegan donuts which are kept refrigerated so if you don't see them displayed, make sure you ask for them. They're delicious.
