If you're looking for a tasty refreshing sandwich that's loaded with flavor look no further. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap with melted cheese, spinach, cucumber, onion, arugula, and what sealed the deal was this cucumber dressing they added to it. Overall the service was excellent they were welcoming and friendly. The ambiance is quaint with plenty of seating inside and outside. Come check this place out and don't forget to get a pastry with your food.

Been coming here for over three years, food and coffee are pretty good but after my last 2-3 trips here I did not appreciate the service. Also the way they nickel and dime you here is a turn off, prices here are already a bit much on some items (some items are fair but others are not) and there's an advertised matcha mushroom drink that says "plant based" on it, but is made with whole milk and they want to up charge you to change to plant based milk, false advertisement?Trust me when I say I know the customer isn't always right, but the customer should not be talked to in a rude, condescending way when an issue with an order is brought up. Telling a customer you repeated the order several times over the phone is a great way to replace the blame (which I corrected her twice and on the third time I swore we were saying the same thing and agreed on the order). But that's just me, I would still recommend this place to others, just don't expect them to go above and beyond with their service or admit they made a mistake, they'll blame you and then say they'll take back their food and refund you AFTER you go back and forth several times and get made to feel bad. In all my years that I was in the restaurant business I never spoke to customers the way they are allowed to speak to customers here. I usually never feel the need to get upset but this time I decided to return the rudeness and decline the refund since she made me feel bad saying "you can give me back the food and then I'll refund you". I felt like I was being accused of trying to get free food. It was a great three years, good luck Bixby Joes

I stumbled upon Bixby Joe the other evening after I had took my brother to the Urgent Care next door. While waiting for our ride we decided to go in and see what they had to offer. I find it cool how they offer custom smoothies and my brother had opted for a strawberry, banana, & mango smoothie. I was actually a bit reluctant to order anything as I try to steer away from caffeine once it gets late in the day. I asked the cashier for the most popular picks as I was indecisive and he recommended their mocha frappe. I requested it without caffeine to which the cashier informed me it would just be milk and powder which I was okay with. They were unfortunately low on pastries as we arrived 30 minutes before closing time so my brother got one of the chocolate chip cookies displayed on the counter. The environment is relaxed and I could see myself coming here to study or read. My frappe was pretty subpar but I honestly believe I just ordered the wrong item. Fortunately my brother loved his smoothie. Overall, this is a cute coffee shop in the heart of Bixby Knolls that I'd revisit.3.8/5

Looked up breakfast sandwhich - sandwhich spot on Yelp and found 2 places we tossed a coin and bixby it was.. smh!!! I ordered a croissant with bacon, but they said they were out. They had sausage and ham. He told me the ham was cut daily. I expected ham, you know, kinda like honey baked ham. Instead, it was deli meat ham. The sandwhich had cheese, egg whites, and ham. It was $9.80 and was not worth it at all. If that was what I was getting, then a price point of $ 5-6 makes sense! The sandwich was bland and just very sad overall. It's not worth it! My friend got a chicken sandwich panini ($9.00+), and there were no signs of the panini. When I see panini sandwhich, I need to see the grill makers on the sandwich and cheese pull happening. NOTHING! Customer service was just ok. Overall, it is not worth $10.00, sorry! Maybe the coffee is good but as far as the food negative.Reply to owner: Yes, we did know it was a coffee shop we have been to plenty that serve sandwhich. I said, "It's kind of like honey baked ham based on how the cashier explained it." I have been in the hospitality industry for over 10+ years. I am very much aware of how things operate, boh, foh, and overall operation. Thank you for your reply, but that was not what I expected. I was hoping you could shed light yo my concerns. Honestly this spot is a hit or miss , sometimes they're great , sometimes they're not . I would suggest for them to have a steady cashier .. it seems whoever can cashier will cashier that includes the person that is working on your food order . I think whoever is working on the food should not he going on the register at all .. usually in coffee shops with food I only see the barista IF THAT being a cashier usually the cashier is the one doing cashiering and helping bag up or making that quick tea and all ... was very baffled when I seen the person who was going to make my tuna with the can of tuna in hand taking orders at the register ...

Came here for the first time today. I was greeted by a nice employee who was very helpful. I asked what she recommended and she gave me a couple of suggestions. I got the chicken panini and that was delicious. Except I was expecting a different kind of bread since it's a panini. I also ordered a chicken turkey wrap and it had very little meat and my husband didn't care for it. I did get a chocolate chip cookie. I was disappointed because it looked as though someone took a bite . A pretty good chunk was missing. I wasn't about to drive back for that but it wouldn't have been nice to get the whole cookie.

Such a great neighborhood gem. The food, drinks and pastries are all delicious. All sandwiches are made to order and the dri is are not pre-made, which is a rarity. Service is fast most days except when busy on the weekends even then it's worth the wait. The owner is not really kind towards me (it's not worth discussing because this still is a great place, there could be many reasons for her demeanor. I just give her grace.)but the staff is super, the ambiance is great for groups of all sizes and perfect for studying during slow times.

My cousin and I stopped by for late brunch because we were craving lox bagels and this was one of the few places in the area that was still serving bagels around 1:30pm. Parking was plentiful and the area is really nice! My cousin and I ordered a salmon lox bagel on an everything bagel and a grilled chicken panini to share.Lox bagel (4/5): good ratio of salmon to cream cheese and I LOVEEEE how many/much veggies they load up in the bagel. After eating it, I didn't feel bloated. It's not the most mind blowing bagel I've had but it's really solid.Grilled chicken panini (4/5): perfect crunch where it doesn't hurt the roof of your mouth. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. The pesto was just a litttttle bit salty when I ran out of chicken/veggies. All in all, when I'm in the area, I could see myself stopping by again.

my significant other and I came here once to try their grilled chicken wraps and now come here weekly for them. We haven't tried other food items but all seem promising if their chicken wraps is THIS good. The ambience and locals liven the place but what keeps us coming back are the employees. The customer service is top tier and always has the best attitudes. This is such an underrated local spot (well not rlly since a lot of locals come here)

I was in the area and came across Bixby Joe while driving around in the morning. I was looking for a cafe that would offer something for breakfast and was happy to find they offered a wide variety of things on their menu.I got a spinach and cheese bagel and had it with cream cheese, avocado, sprouts, cucumber, and tomato. It was divine! I think next time I will ask them to add bacon to give a little saltiness and crunch to the sandwich.The cafe was busy but not too busy. People who work here were friendly and pushing out orders in a timely fashion. I sat at the counter and watched my order being prepared. Really cute spot to hang out. Easy parking. Highly recommend.
