This one is the one near the WTC as there are 2 of them close to each other. I have been going there every week for lunch. The food is very cheap if you get the special lunch as it only costs $12.99 and depends on the menu sometimes you can get 1 main dish, 1 side dish, and 1 free drink included in that special lunch deal. There was 1 day they had the alfredo pasta and 1 garlic bread for special lunch and I went for it and it was very good! The staff here is also very niceHighly recommend if you are nearby.

My pastrami sandwich with a side salad was good. Plenty of deli options are on the menu. Seating can be inside or outside.Note as to location. There are 2 Bites locations in the World Trade Center area. One by the Hilton and the other is in a sunken courtyard across the street. I navagated with Yelp and my buddy used Google maps. Of course, we ended up across the street from each other.

I got the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito and was pretty happy with it, except that it had no chorizo. The first few bites were just egg and potato. The middle had pico de gallo and eggs, and the bottom had eggs and potatoes. I think there was some ground pork somewhere mixed in with eggs at the bottom but I expected chorizo, dripping in spicy oil after cooking it!If they fix the issue with not adding the meat that I ordered, then I'd be a regular. Also please try building the burrito so there is about the same ingredients across a wide bite (eggs, potato, pico de gallo and chorizo). The best breakfast burrito I've ever had was at Rose Cafe in San Jose. Please use that as a template to building a booming breakfast burrito business on top of your other foods.

Pros: + This isn't a chain so there's only one of them+ Hours are short so you're forced to go elsewhereCons:- slow service- overpriced- terrible flavor- small portions- poor quality ingredientsIf you like low quality overpriced frozen reheated food at a ridiculous mark-up while you are made to wait, then Bites is the place for you.I previously ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl and it had 4 tiny pieces of chicken. I'd be surprised if it even hit a 3 oz portion. It was dry and overcooked yet somehow still cold inside. Same thing with the vegetables. I complained that there was barely any chicken and the cashier told me that's one breast. If that's one breast that chicken must have had a mastectomy. It was terrible. I demanded a refund and I had to argue with them because they wanted to just re-make the dish. A McChicken patty from McDonald's was bigger than the chicken portion. But because it's the only place in the area and I was in a hurry, I had to go back one more time and tried the patty melt. How hard could it be to screw up a burger? Turns out? Pretty easily. First of all they don't season anything. My burger was flavorless. Second of all everything is steamed. They don't put the patty melt on a griddle, they shove it into a panini press. Here's the problem-- the burger was frozen! So what ended up happening is that the outside was nice and crisp... For about three minutes. The excess moisture from the frozen patty murdered any texture, turned the bread into mush, washed away any flavor from the unseasoned red onions, and turned an unpleasant gray.Staff range from friendly to abrasive, as my order took close to 15 minutes to prepare. The kitchen guy had the gall to tell me that my order would be ready when they get to it.Slow service, terrible portions, unpalatable textures and pathetic flavors await you here. Go somewhere else to eat because this place is a genuine waste of time and money.

Delicious cozy , more affordable breakfast spot around downtown Long Beach! This place is great for a quick stop to have some delicious breakfast. We had the spinach wrap tortilla breakfast burrito and the California Scramble. It was delicious ! Otherwise I wouldn't be writing a review. You guys know downtown Long Beach and south Cal prices can be very expensive nowadays so this place is a hidden gem! Items below $10 each! And it was enough food to feed. Customer service was always very good. The lady was taking orders and treated us well. The food takes some time to come out but after my first time I realized why: FRESHLY made! And the avocado was legit!

The sandwich ingredients were all fresh & tasty, even the bread! The Cappuccino with oat milk was smooth & delicious, so was the vanilla latte. Would definitely eat here again when we in Long Beach.

Not sure what all the fuss is about regarding their prices but I feel that they price their menu items extremely fairly. Customer service is always on point. There is a lunch rush most days, which is normal for any restaurant establishment, but the most you will wait is about 10-15 minutes, is that so harsh? I think not. The food has quality ingredients. I typically get the Chicken pesto sandwich, which comes with a side for only about $11, which is an overall good deal, especially nowadays. Additionally, they have lunch specials everyday so if you are on a budget they got you!! Overall, this little hole in the wall is well worth the 10 minute wait, and prices are great! I recommend

If you're staying at the Hilton Long Beach don't sleep on this amazing cafe that is right outside if you go out by the parking lot exit and is fresh food that's half the price at the hotel food. Waiting times can vary because it's a small staff so just give yourself ample time ! So worth the wait and it saved me during a 2 night stay to have fresh convenient food so close!
