Birrieria Barajas

I came to Birrieria Barajas a couple days ago to do a food review on behalf of L.A. Times Food and let me tell you-- I was blown away by their birria. I had the honor and privilege of trying most of their menu and it was hands down the BEST Birria I've ever had. The L.A. Times Food team has been working on curating a list of L.A.'s Best Tacos and Birrieria Barajas is in the Top 10 list! It's 100% family operated and they were the kindest people. Customer service was phenomenal and when I got there, I heard a lot of happy and excited customers. After learning their story, I was moved. I will definitely come back here whenever I'm in Compton. Their taquitos de frijol was my favorite along with their quesabirria de chivo. The place was clean and they've done a great job at establishing themselves within the community. Lots of happy customers left and right. If you're looking to try goat birria, support family owned businesses and get some bomb food, THIS IS THE BEST SPOT ! Gracias a todos

Una buena birria. (A very good Birria)Liked how quick was to order and have my food ready to eat. The birria is flavorful and the people giving the service are very kind. This location doesn't disappoint if you looking for a quick bite.

I went hunting for this truck with my bf cause his mom said it's delicious and she wasn't kidding. I got the Birrieria ramen & was soooooooo good. The service was pretty quick too considering the amount of people they were serving. It's definitely street food vibes considering it's from a truck and they do have a seating area too which is perfect for the food truck vibe. Definitely plan on coming again to try their other food.

Where do I begin with this? Let's start of eating it right away. I heard about the place and decided to try it out. No doubt, one of the best birria.We got here around 9a on a Friday. Parking is of by a market, can be tough but street parking is available. Go here early to avoid long lines and wait times.We ordered taco and taco dorado (goat and beef). Consome is delicious and so are the tacos. Goat is definitely delicious, I would get the goat itself dip it in their consome. Yum!Will definitely go back here and recommend it for early bird. They're here until 2pm. Psa: they only take cash.

This food is good! There is a seating area where you can enjoy your meal! The workers were very lovely! The sides aren't given in plentiful! The consomé was OKAY, the meat was cooked nicely but again it was just good. In my opinion it was 7/10 but if you're in the area and are craving some Birria taste for yourself

I've been going around L.A. looking for the best birria and believe me, we finally hit the spot. Not only is it delicious but also has great customer service. As a fellow entrepreneur/business owner, I can easily say, they're doing great. Stop by and try a taco, maybe 2, hey, why not the birria plate if you're really hungry!

What can I say about this place, well food is good but the service is absolutely devastating I was on my way to order food today in the morning and I saw the employees arguing with a customer and it escalated fast to where the OWNER of the place launch an Onion to the client well ex client to his vehicleAnd I told my wife is this the place where I want to eat before work? Anyways I've worked in the restaurant industry for years and never would treat a customer the way they did no matter the situation, very sad specially when it comes from a small business owner....I also asked the guy what happened and he replied with "all I wanted my money back because of poor customer service" Wow I'm definitely not coming back!

Food is fire. It's so so good good for breakfast lunch and dinner lol. Tacos de res or chivo. I got chivo.

This food truck is run by a very kind and generous family that is very supportive of schools. My favorite item on the menu has to be their tacos dorado. The goat meat was delicious and flavorful!

This place is a gem. My son and I had the best birria quesa tacos. The tacos are cooked in a sauce until they are lightly crispy. Served on a plate with a wonderful surprise of a small bean taco. I ate the bean taco first, as a dipped it into the flavorful consomé on the side. We both chose to eat the goat meat, which was tender and tasted good.
