It's a little food to go store with cold/frozen prepared foods lining one wall and no tables to sit and eat. Nothing special or exciting about the shop itself, but it was clean.I ordered a couple lunch trays: roasted pork and fish sauce wings and roasted pork and a spicy chicken. Both serverd with white rice and an assortment of pickled cabbage, ginger, chillis, daikon. The food was excellent! Especially the roast pork - crispy skin, meaty and not too fatty. The amount of food was generous and the prices reasonable. The owner was super nice and gave me a sample of all the meats before I ordered.I will definitely make this place part of my lunch rotation.

Came here twice based on some good reviews on YouTube. First time a few weeks ago around 1pm on a Friday and they're already out of Beef Stew with green peppercorn (Bò Sốt Tiêu Xanh) and Chicken Curry (Cà Ri Gà). Owner said they got unexpected (?) uptick of orders from recent YouTuber review. Gave me "free sample" of their supposedly 2 top sellers, Fish Sauced Chicken Wing (Gà Chiên Nước Mắm) and Crispy Roast Pork (Thịt Heo Quay). Not sure if they're really free since the owner just took that out of the premade portions in the food warmer display and later just give those portions when I ordered. Hmmm....Anyhow, I ended up ordering:- Fish Sauced Chicken Wings - tastes alright, not bad.- House Special Chicken Wings - nothing that special. Honestly, I can get better Karaage Chicken from the hot food buffet at Tokyo Central Market for the same price, $9.99/lb.- Beef Stew (Bò Kho) - pretty good, on point flavor with lots of tendon (gân) pieces which I like, just right level of tenderness. Carrots give just a right amount of sweetness.I did not order the Roast Pork since the sample did not have good flavor as what I'm used to from Chinese BBQ places such as Liên Hoa or Yummy. Maybe just my personal taste (Khẩu Vị).So, I came back second time last week to get the Green Peppercorn Beef and Curry Chicken, big disappointment for both:- Green Peppercorn Beef has strange flavor which I could only describe as "grassy". It tasted off. And there are so many small potatoes (more than half of the portion) in the container. Not as good as the regular Beef Stew for sure.- Curry Chicken has strong coconut flavor but was extra sweet (ngọt như chè) with only one kind of potato (russet, I believe). No sweet potatoes. The chicken pieces are same as in the Wings, flat and drumette, no other parts of the chicken included. Perhaps that's more convenient for the shop to only buy and offer that kind. But I'm used to getting other parts from other restaurants, even food-to-go places like Bao-n-Baguette.If I ever come back to this place, the only thing I'd order is the regular Beef Stew.

This fairly new Vietnamese takeout establishment caught my eye as I was driving by one day so I looked them up on Yelp. Reviews and photos of the food looked good, plus I was really craving crispy pork and it seemed to be one of their popular items. Fellow Yelpers mentioned that there was no English menu but as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the owner and they now have a huge English menu plastered on their wall! Since it was our first time, we got to sample their chicken wings and crispy pork with sticky rice. Pretty smart move to let potential customers try out their best dishes. It is recommended to call in your order at least 1 hour before pickup. Or you can go shop at Walmart in the same plaza or go to Rodeo 39 while you wait for your order like I did. Stamp cards are available for chicken and pork purchases by the pound. Buy 10 pounds of chicken or pork and get 1 pound for free. You don't earn any stamps if you order from their party tray menu though. Overall, my family enjoyed the food and will definitely be back for more of that crispy pork and to try other items on their menu. Give this small business a try!|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Cross Streets are Beach Blvd. & Garden Grove Blvd-Located in the same plaza as Little Caesars, Walmart, Denny's and more. This is the shopping plaza located right across from Rodeo 39 but they are located on the side of the strip facing Garden Grove Blvd.-Plenty of parking spots in the plaza|| F O O D ||Crispy Pork ($14.99/lb) - Ordered 2lbs for the fam, because I have an older brother who will just annihilate this if I only ordered 1lb. The pork was still juicy and tender and the crispy skin wasn't hard to chew. The balance was perfect.Fried Chicken Wings with Fish Sauce ($11.99/lb) - Maybe because I'm so used to fish sauce but I didn't think the fish sauce flavor was super pungent. This was not bad but I would have personally preferred if the wings were crispier and glazed with sauce.4 Spice Grilled Whole Chicken ($31.99) - I wanted to try one of their grilled chicken selections, so I asked the owner which one was the most popular. He mentioned it was this one or the satay grilled one. The order also comes with a side of pickled veggies so that was nice. The chicken wasn't dry and I liked how the herbs really brought out the flavors on the chicken. It's definitely a lighter dish compared to the other two proteins I got.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this ma and pa shop! Although this place is to-go, the owner made room for us to sit down and eat. The hospitality and warmth from the owner made my partner and I feel like as if we were eating at one of our uncle's. We both ordered a plate, one with only crispy pork and the other with half fish sauce chicken and half crispy pork. The fish sauce chicken was freshly made and extremely tasty, while their crispy pork was juicy, tender, and had the perfect crisp! We went back the following day and have always had a craving for this ever since! This will be a staple stop for us! Please show them some love and support if you're in the area! I promise you won't regret it!!

I found this place by chance, was looking for some fried snacks for dinner. The crispy chicken was great, the batter was perfect, not salty at all, only costing 9.99 per lbs. Did I mention that they are boneless. The crispy pork tasted awesome, costing 15.99 per lbs. The owner was very friendly, since most of the writing was in Vietnamese, he explained which one I was looking for.

I came here knowing what I wanted and also knowing that I'd be writing a review about what I came in here for which is none other than the roasted pork. So as soon as I walked in I realized that this place was take out only, well kind of. The man who greeted me as I walked in said you want to eat here? No problem. He cleared the table and they brought my roasted pork (I ordered double pork in place of the other half being the wings.) being Filipino I was expecting Lechon (crispy skin pork). During my first bite I wanted to put my fork and spoon down and start writing my review, this is the best crispy skin pork I've ever had bar none. But I'm no fool, later with the review who cares about all the delicious descriptive words that I may forget like safe for your teeth crispy, juicy, tasty, specially with that full flavored umami sauce that comes with. I got all that double pork, all the sauce variety you're gonna need, the silky rice and fresh veggies for $11.50. Y'all get over here now.

If you want a bang for your buck, this place is it! Coming in, its a fast food place to get your food and go. You are normally most likely greeted by one of the guys there who owns the place and is really nice and will introduce you to the food and the menu. They have so many options however what is really popular here are the fish sauce wings and the roasted pork. Fish Sauce Wings and Roasted Pork Plate (11.50)- THis is so cheap. You get both wings and roasted pork with rice and pickled veggies. The wings are not overwhelming with the fish sauce flavor. It is sweet and salty and the meat falls off the wings. I did not have trouble eating these. The roasted pork is pretty good too! The flavor is just there and the skin is crunchy. The pickled veggies also is flavorful and a great addition to the plate.Overall, the place is nice and I would definitely come back. The vibes of the owner is nice and the inside of the place is quick and simple. You see frozen food you could take to your family or you see hot food you can eat for work or take home. I recommend this place and with great customer service it definitely makes me want to come back for more. Do not forget to add in a party tray of chicken!

I found a great spot with a ton of nostalgic Vietnamese dishes to choose from, and I ended up getting some value for my money. I ordered half a pound of heo quay and a pound of ga chien gio Binh Tay for just $16.50, which was a great price considering how much food I got.The heo quay was done nicely-crispy, bubbly skin with juicy meat inside, and the traditional dipping sauce was a nice touch. The ga chien was boneless, juicy, and hot like it must've just come out of the fryer. The sauce tasted like a spicy mayo but with more depth to it, and it reminded me of a Vietnamese take on Japanese karaage chicken. Ordering was easy, and the folks running the shop were super friendly. They even gave me samples before I ordered to make sure I was getting something I'd like. There's a lot on the menu that I didn't get to try, so I'll definitely be back to check out more. If you're looking for some Vietnamese food to go, this place is a solid choice.
