Big John's Donuts

I stumbled across this spot when I was looking for a donut place to bring donuts to work. I decided to try their croissant sandwich, and it did not disappoint! The donuts selection is good, and the service is great.I come back all the time now, and although I don't come every day, when I do come, I've noticed that sometimes they can have a line starting. The price is comparable to other places but I really love their croissant breakfast sandwich.

Donuts are exactly what you want a donut to be not too sweet, the bagel sandwiches remind me of a "torta de jamon" :) customer service is great!

Dont sleep on Big John's. My favorite donut shop in the LBC. Been coming here since I was a kid. My coworkers LOVE when i bring donuts for them and always boast about how perfect and yummy Big Johns donuts are. 4 stars and not 5 because of the big roaches Ive seen walking around like they own this place. The ladies can also be a little nicer. Also a little weird because I get charged different prices for the dozen depending on who rings me up.

Closed... but donuts still sitting on the racks. Doesn't help suggest that these are "daily fresh"

I've only been here a few times... every time I stop by I am treated respectfully with great customer service. They are always pretty quick to attend me the donuts are great, coffee is fresh and the croissants are decent. What keeps me coming back is the hospitality and good prices more than anything.

I have been coming here for years to get coffee and bagels with cream cheese. Sometimes bagels and donuts.On Monday I went and I ordered coffee, a donut and a bagel with cream cheese and my order was to go.When I got to my office I was looking forward to eating my cream cheese bagel and what a total Disappointment. Hardly any cream cheese.CHECK YOUR ORDERS BEFORE YOU LEAVE AND DON'T GET RIPPED OFF. It's NOT like they are not charging enough for the cream cheese!! This was UNBELIEVABLY a ripped off. Step it up!

Big John's Donuts is family-owned and operated since 1985. My family and I have been coming here for years. They have the best donuts and croissant sandwiches! The owner, Alan and his wife are always friendly and provide excellent customer service. Great start to my mornings picking up donuts and coffee from here!

Ordered a turkey sandwich here and it was okayReally wish they had a Dutch crunch or toastier bread. Overall good vibes though Would come back

Service was friendly and I definitely OVERPAID for my order. Not much ambiance at 6am. Majority of customers were men rushing in and out with their food. There's women behind the counter so I didn't feel out of place.Had a very simple order..1) My lemon filled donut was lacking the *lemon fill* I opened up the donut to find at least 1 teaspoon of filling, if that this was an old donut 2) Breakfast croissant with ham, cheese and egg was over microwaved, some parts of my *thin* sandwich was hard and I wasn't able to eat it I say thin sandwich because it literally had 1 thin slice of ham, 1 cheese and 1/2 egg! Very flat and thin sandwich! Another one tossedI will never go back to this place, not worth it

My family & I always go here to get their sandwiches for our parties.. They're literally so nice! Recently went to pick up a large order of their sandwiches for my brother's graduation party and when she asked what we were celebrating, she gave us a free dozen donuts!
