LOVE IT HERE!! I'm not normally a big meat eater but these beef ribs are to die for. The meat was so tender and flavorful, no wonder it's their best seller. Also the staff is so kind, we had great conversation about the business and their startup. A MUST TRY if you're ever in the area!

It's a solid 4.5/5 for me because I was really impressed with the selections and quality. Everything was pretty good! I ordered the loco moco, pork katsu, beef ribs, and grilled pork along with the macaroni salad and green salad for takeout because we were craving that Hawaiian island flavor and saw how good their beef ribs look. The ribs were very tender and generously portioned and the soy based marinade was really good, although the texture was not as chewy as I like. The pork was just slightly dry and maybe light on marinade and flavor, but it was still satisfying. The loco moco was really good and unfortunately they had run out of the rib eye. And the pork katsu was satisfying with the house made katu sauce but it would have been a little bland without it, and the breading kept falling off with each bite. The macaroni was very refreshing and didn't taste like it was predominantly mayonnaise, so the neutrality of along with the fluffy and big scoops of rice you get were a nice compliment.Everything was prepped for pickup in only 15 minutes and the cashier was extremely nice!

If you love beef ribs, Big Bros Hawaiian grill is it. Their beef ribs plate is nothing short of spectacular. The ribs are smoked to perfection, with a perfect balance of tender, juicy meat and a slight char on the outside, giving them a beautiful sweetness. The plate comes with generous portions of perfectly cooked rice and a side of macaroni salad, which is creamy and complements the smoky richness of the ribs. The ribs themselves are large, meaty, and satisfying, offering a melt-off-the-bone experience with every bite. For anyone seeking an authentic Hawaiian BBQ experience, Big Bros Hawaiian grill is it! The combination of tender beef, great sides, and fantastic service makes this spot a true gem. Definitely try this spot!Note: they only accept contactless payment NO CASH

Big Bro's Hawaiian just opened in Artesia, and we are lucky to have them here! This is their second location (first in La Mirada), and they've absolutely nailed it.Let's talk about these beef ribs--top tier! So meaty, juicy, and flavorful, definitely better than the other spots I've tried (yes, even Matiki). These ribs are in a league of their own.The rice? Perfect. The mac salad? Phenomenal. Everything was made quickly and served fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite.I'll definitely be back--Artesia has a winner with this one!

I came here during their soft opening and ordered the rib plate with salad and macaroni salad. I love that they have a sink in the dining area so you can wash your hands, they also have a place to self serve their house special sauce, it also has hot sauces and utensils. While the service was good, and the chef brought out a sample of their spam musubi, which was tasty, I did not enjoy their house sauce that was all over the salad and ribs. It is very sweet and sticky, but I felt like it overpowered everything. The macaroni salad was a bit bland for me as well.I do love Hawaiian barbecue, but perhaps this version of it is not my favorite. I would return to try their other items though! I know they just opened the second location their first location is La Mirada so I hope it's just growing pains since this area does need another Hawaiian barbecue... I think it's just 808 over here in Artesia.

Looking for a quick bite to eat with my teen at 1 pm. Yelp led me to this new Hawaiian grill in Artesia.Service was fast. We placed our order over the phone. The website is not available for orders as of 2/16/25. Limited drink selection, cans of soda, Arizona tea and complimented water. We arrived within 15 minutes of ordering and it was hot and ready. Brought it back home and it was DELICIOUS! My son pointed out we would definitely be going back. Parking is not bad as many people are coming and going. The place is small but laid back.

This review is specifically for the spam musubi. We were excited to try a new Hawaiian spot, but arrived fairly late and decided to grab a quick snack--spam musubi. My suggestion for future musubi would be to use less rice and add more sauce. The musubi had a thin slice of spam surrounded by an excess of rice, with only a small amount of sauce mixed in. In fact, there was so much rice that the nori didn't even fully wrap around it. While some may appreciate the larger portion for the price, the excess rice detracts from both the flavor and quality.

We were told this is a new restaurant that opened in Artesia. First impressions the restaurant was open and bright, nice atmosphere, seating appropriately 40 (guessing), parking was good size but could be difficult on busy days. Person at the register was friendly. Food came out quickly (we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time). Restaurant looked clean (very important to me as well)We had two orders of katsu chicken (undercook) breading very light in color, beef bowl was decent, beef ribs were nicely cooked and very tender. Prices were on the high end for local food. We eat at many Polynesian restaurants and not sure if I will come back here again. Prices weigh heavy on my budget but overall they did good. There is another restaurant in La Mirada that I guess has been there a long time. Good luck
