Seems like this place is going down hill since the last few times I ordered. I ordered online and had it delivered.I ordered 2 combo plates: fish, scallops, and shrimp, and the other scallops and shrimp. One of my orders had no fish and that was the main thing I wanted and was extremely disappointed. Also the amount you get for the price seems off. The shrimp and scallops were ok, I think there wasn't enough for how much you pay and they were all overcooked almost to the point of being burnt. The clam chowder was good but very little of it for the price you pay. The fries and coke slaw were good. They do give a slice of lemon and tartar and cocktail sauce I am going to have to rethink this place since they don't seem to give you quality and quantity for the price they are charging and messing up my lunch order is a big disappointment.

I actually remember coming here in the 90s with all the skateboarders. It's been a while. In the late 90s I was a manager of a skate shop. Everybody from that crew met up today and got our seafood on. Such a good time ...we're gonna make it an annual event ! The next time we're we're going to charter a boat . The food was delicious. Very fresh. Nothing fancy just good seafood.

Took a chance based on the open hours and how hungry the kids were. Great food and even better customer service. We had the Calamari, Fish, and Clam platters along with the fish taco plate. The fish tacos were grilled and fantastic! The salsa was on point! If you are in the area after a day at the aquarium this is the spot to go!

Wanted to find a super authentic, port area fish market and this place is as authentic as they come. Honestly, you can't go wrong on any items from the menu, but I went with the swordfish plate. Super fresh, cooked to perfection and the portion is larger than to be expected. We ate on the outdoor patio, but you can't also take your food over to the adjacent bar(owned by the same company) if the weather is too cold and windy. Overall great lunch spot with great service. Would highly recommend if you find yourself in the port area of Long Beach.

Came out to enjoy some sun and relaxation with the hubster. Berth 55 did not disappoint. We ordered 3 plates, the fish special and oysters. The food arrived timely, not sure why the food was room temperature, but it was still tasty.I was a bit disappointed with the wine, for $6.50 I guess I could not expect much.The overall experience was good, I would definitely come back again. We enjoyed sitting outside and soaking in some sun, only in California...

Stopped by after a day at the aquarium for some food. And it was great the food and service was on point. We got catfish and shrimp along with a fish taco and clam chowder. Everything was flavorful and fresh it wasn't too much like simple and delicious. Sometimes when you do to much with seafood it ruins the taste but this place checks all boxes

Always the best way to wake up on a Saturday .. take the scoot with the boys down here , grab yourself a ceviche side and either a whole fried fish (bomb) or a lb of some fresh smacked shrimp served by a bunch of friendly faces , you can always take fresh fish ,shellfish etc home for a good Sunday dinner as well, if your eating in don't forget fries ! And a freezing cold beer to wet your whistle , complete the day with a nice seat overlooking the port full of boats that brought you the very meal ! The vibe is always right rain or shine .truly a local favorite! Rudeboy out

Ok a vibe! Service was amazing! Food was amazing and that bread!! The location matches the food I love it!

Came here expecting some fresh seafood but it was average. Didn't have much options too. Most of the menu is fried stuff. Definitely DO NOT recommend the deep fried calamari. Taste nothing like squid.
