I started following Alenni on IG (@batterupsweetery) a few months ago after seeing a local Long Beach page post her. Her work is what caught my eye and I was instantly hooked (I am a visual person). I mean seriously, who doesn't want to support a local, small, women-owned business? When we got engaged and locked in a location for our happy hour/engagement party, I knew the one favor I wanted our guests to take home was one of her cookies. I contacted Alenni, she was prompt to respond as well as super friendly. I was probably annoyingly easy for her because I just trusted her judgement and expertise. I wanted her to have fun with these cookies as well. We did a neutral toned palette for our cookies and she creative absolute masterpieces.Not only did the cookies look absolutely beautiful, they tasted amazing as well (you can ask my guests from the party who are still talking about them!). The flavor was balanced and just perfect, not too sweet and they weren't dry at all. I am so glad I saved a few for myself before we got to the party because they were all gone.Thank you Alenni for your talent and passion to create such wonderful pieces to make an event even more special. I had the great pleasure of working with Batter Up Sweetery on custom cookies for my boyfriends birthday party. Alenni was super responsive, we discussed the overall theme and I sent her some basic ideas for the cookie designs, and she took it all from there. Not only was everything totally seamless from start to finish, but the cookies were WAY beyond amazing. Everything was so beautifully done, and even better the cookies were delicious. We booked a private cookie decorating class with Batter Up Sweetery for a Mom's Night Out event. The class was amazing! Alenni did a fantastic job explaining everything and answering all of our questions. She was fun and the cookies were delicious (even if ours weren't as pretty as hers!).
