Such a fun place for dessert! They use creative flavor pairings and have seasonal items that are a must try. The staff is friendly and did a great job at giving recommendations. I've been wanting to try their ube basque cheesecake so I ordered that along with a miso chocolate chip cookie and matcha strawberry cookie.Ube basque cheesecake- The cheesecake had a solid ube flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. Topped with whipped cream and coconut flakes that added a depth of creaminess. The cheesecake isn't really the authentic basque style, but it's near impossible to replicate outside its place of origin.Miso chocolate chip cookie- This was an interesting one! The miso flavor was strong and to those a little wary of the mix, it works somehow! The chocolate chips were nice and gooey.Matcha strawberry cookie- If you like matcha, this is a must try. The flavor is deep and the strawberry drizzle offers a burst of freshness. Cookie is nice and chewy.Great experience overall! Would definitely come back to try the rest of their items.

Stopped by on a whim while picking up lunch. Ordered a sesame almond cookie, earl grey cookie, and hojicha cookie.Sesame and Hojiacha's flavors were great, but the texture of the sesame was a little odd to me (something about the almond slivers). Hojicha flavors were sweet but a little dry. The earl grey was my favorite!

Conveniently located in 4th street market next to the boba/coffee stand in front. Ran by a couple of friendly young folks who look like they enjoy creating the sweet treats they sell. Had an ube cheesecake slice, a citrus lemon cookie and a miso salted chocolate chip cookie.Ube cheesecake was delicious! Basque cheesecake was rich yet velvety. Perfect amount of sweetness. Really allowed that ube flavor to shine through nicely. And that color! Deep and luxurious. The cookies were a hit too! Both excellent and not a trace of that weird, overly sweet artificial flavor from places that I won't mention but rhyme with "smookie smug" or "frumbl shookie". Between the citrus cookie and chocolate chip, the chocolate chip won me over. This isn't a typical chocolate chip cookie. Perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness with a dash of umami from the miso. Yep, miso. All the elements so well in this cookie! Definitely a must try spot serving up treats made with honest and wholesome ingredients.

Thanks (again) to Yelp, this little place popped up on my radar -- leading us to make our first visit to 4th Street Market! Friendly, helpful, and patient service. It's rare that we come across Cream Puffs with a whipped cream filling (vs. all or part custard filled). Everything we ordered was delicious: the Cream Puffs (4/$9.50), the Ube Basque Cheesecake ($7.50), and the cookie assortment!! This spot is definitely a favorite for desserts, and has me desiring to return, again... soon!

Baked Banhs is the cutest little microbakery located in the 4th Street Market known for their thoughtfully crafted cookies and Asian inspired desserts. The storefront is in the front half of the market so it's easy to spot- also, it's easier to eat dessert before dinner (just saying). There's a reason why the miso chocolate chip cookie is their best seller. This is definitely the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. I usually don't reach for cakey cookies.. I'm more of a chewy, soft texture cookie gal. So this cookie was right up my alley. Flavorwise, its not too sweet with a nice salty component that evens out the palate. The miso flavor is subtle so you can still appreciate the deep rich chocolate notes. The Ube cheesecake is equally as impressive. The contrast in the starchy ube base compared to the cream cheese makes each bite enjoyable through and through. The white icing on top was delicious as well adding a sweeter component to the not-so-sweet cheesecake. I could do with less of the icing though. The cheesecake is fabulous all on its own. Service is super friendly and sweet. Theres a large amount of seating within the 4th Street Market so you can grab some cookies and catch up with some friends. There is a parking garage conveniently located right behind the market. The quality of the baked goods is truly impressive and with a lot of dessert options in Santa Ana, Baked Banhs does a great job standing out with their creative take on Asian flavored desserts.Check them out if you're looking for that perfect midday snack or after meal sweet fix.

Nice staff and great deal with Happy Hour - I got 3 cookies for the price of 2.- Miso Chocolate Chip (Loved)- Earl Grey w/ Yuzu Icing (Good but not fave)- Hojicha w/ Hojicha Icing (Will def get again)The person working got me a Miso Chocolate Chip Cookie fresh from the oven so it was still warm and gooey. I meant to only take one bite (and save the rest for later) but once I started eating it, I couldn't stop! So good and I didn't feel like it was overly sweet for most of eating it despite having a lot of chocolate in it.They are part of a food market hall and sit in this prime location that I always see it as soon as I enter, super cute stall.

Their baked goods are AMAZING!!!! Always have to get a treat to bring home from here whenever we visit the food hall it's in. Pro tip: go right before the shop closes for discount on goods as they just want to get rid of it for the day.

Got the ube milk bun and it was sooo fluffy with a GENEROUS portion of ube cream. Very rich and perfect for one serving. I probably couldn't have more than that.Service is so great! Very friendly and they gave us samples of their brownie and chocolate chip cookie too! Brownie was pretty average but the chocolate chip cookie was divine with the flaky sea salt on top! Excited to come back and try more goodies.

Overall:5/5 for baked goods! Very unique types of pastries served. The Service:Service was amazing! The person working that day was working on some pastries and saw me looking and offered me to try some of the miso blondies and miso chocolate chip cookies! The samples are what sold me and I honestly bought stuff that I wasn't even really looking at either if I didn't try it.The Food:Miso Chocolate Chip Cookies - The cookies were incredibly soft and not too sweet! It was so well balanced with the saltiness of the miso.Miso Blondie - The flavor was so rich with the vanilla flavored that was complimented by the umami of the miso. I would definitely get this again.Vietnamese Ham Croissant - I enjoyed this take of my favorite childhood favorite of Cha Lua (Vietnamese Ham) with bread. The croissant was flaky and it was very delicious!Price: The baked goods ranged between $4-6 which was reasonable for the quality and taste! The Atmosphere:It is located in the 4th Street Market so there are plenty of places to sit inside and outside to enjoy your baked goods!Parking:There is a parking structure behind 4th Street Market you can park at or there is street parking but it is rather difficult because it's in old town Santa Ana!
