Baja Sonora Mexican Restaurant

I've been craving chips and salsa lately and found this spot near work. It's a casual place where you order at the front, then self service for everything else - chips and salsa, utensils, drinks, napkins and find your own table. What I do like is they have to go containers and bags ready to go, too! Love that they had a chips and salsa bar with 5 different salsas, limes and peppers. I like trying lots of flavors. My fave was the medium red salsa. Asada Taco - this was huge! I had to eat some of the meat before trying to pick it up because it was so big. Flavor was a okay. Prices were very reasonable. I was able to get a taco, a drink and comp chips and salsa for about $10 for lunch. What a steal! Service was quick and friendly. Like super fast, where I went to grab my chips and salsa, and my food was waiting for me when I got back! Parking can be difficult during meal times as there are other retailers in the shared lot.

Very disappointed. Take out tonight. Three chicken tacos rice and beans. One taco was beef and out of the wrapper when I opened the bag. The other two were undercooked with broken shells. Rice and beans were ok. Chicken tortilla soup was hot and delicious. Service was ok when ordering. Just can not believe a Mexican restaurant can need up crunchy tacos.

The food is good here with a nice chip and salsa bar. I've noticed they have trimmed down the menu a bit - fewer combinations offered. They offer online ordering which I find convenient. The timing of pick up seems to be inaccurate in their system. The only drawbacks, parking is a bit tight for all the businesses and if it busy, I will occasionally park on the side streets and walk in. The other issue is the lady that works the counter and pick up order area is typically grouchy and unhappy. Last time, I gave her my name and she just handed me my order without even a greeting or thank you. Not an isolated event.

I seen MIKE giving everyone attention today at 12:32pm as I came in to get some chips for my order and I liked that! People were nice! Better environment today! Also the follow up game is great here! I gave them another chance!

What can I say about Baja Sonora that hasn't already been said!? This place always delivers. The beans and rice are always good. I personally usually go for a chile relleno or crunchy taco with shredded beef or a convo with both. Potato tacos are also bomb if you're looking for a vegetarian alternative or if, like me, you just like potato tacos. They have a good range of salsas for everyone's preference from one with no spice to a super spicy habanero salsa.

Hidden gem! Great food, friendly owner and big portions. They have a great salsa bar and flat tortilla chips. My favorite is their Green Chile Burrito or Asada burrito. The place can easily be missed cause if its location and the parking can be horrible. The cashier wasn't the friendliest and very short when asked about a menu item. This place overall is great

I've been here twice in the last couple of weeks and each time had something different. First time I had a wet Chile Verde burrito that tasted great. Plenty of meat and just the right amount of beans and rice inside. The second time I had the nachos and was very happy with how they're prepared. The salsa bar also had some very good selections to choose from. The parking lot is small & tight but once inside area have a lot of tables to choose from. I'm sure we'll be here again for a third time.

Just placed a pick up order to find the small guacamole we purchased for 4.75 was the same size of their free salsa containers?? A 3.25oz container cost 4.75???? I called to ask as I was confused if this was in fact the guacamole I paid for and the lady confirmed it was. I get food is expensive but come on, that's highway robbery. At least list the size on your website to prevent such disappointment.

Their tacos are so Amazing!! ! It was my choice for my birthday dinner!!! I was thrilled that my birthday was on a Tuesday! Taco Tuesday The chips are good, but the house Salsa is sooo good, I could drink it! The burritos are also delicious!! They never disappoint. The staff are always so friendly. The restaurant is really authentic. Please try Baja Senora! I will tell you, you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to go again!

Not impressed at all. My Cesar salad had a hair in it plus it was just slapped together and drenched in salad dressing and raw pumpkin seeds? Not toasted but raw. The soft chicken tacos was a huge lump of machine shredded chicken with maybe tomato sauce favoring to make it reddish color. Horrible. No love at all .
